DJ: Without delay, “I’m Your Boy” tour, Osaka performance, I went to it! K: Wow! You even brought your penlight DJ: I brought my penlight— O: So bright!! DJ: Bright? Bright? Bright seems right, but it was really fun stage! SHINee was cool! K: Yes DJ: Cute! Sexy! O: Whoah, Jonghyun! DJ: There were so many versatile sides to SHINee. Also, the tour set, K: Yes DJ: Design K: Yes DJ: were all amazing S: Thank you DJ: I saw it and enjoyed. While you talked about your debut song, I looked back and the fans were also enjoying. By the way, how are Japanese fans? What are they like? K: They’re like young girls. Kind… DJ: Like young girls? K: Yes, they always sing along, perfectly memorized, for SHINee in particular, it makes us happy. DJ: The fans’ feelings are conveyed K: And when the ballad songs are over, and after the audience claps, we’re happy. DJ: Ahh, hearing that also makes me happy. Everyone ****** O: It was delicious DJ: Delicious? *laugh* K: I even ate it O: me too DJ: So while on tour you’ve been to a lot of places in Japan. Any special impressions from the places or food? Tell us about local specialties O: Momiji manju (red bean paste filled cake that’s shaped like a maple leaf) K: Momiji manju…Hiroshima? DJ: For Onew it’s momiji manju O: Mmm DJ: You were able to eat it? O: Yes DJ: It was delicious? O: It was delicious. I was left awestruck DJ: Jonghyun, local specialties, impressions of places or foods? J: For me, Osaka’s saraudon (Nagasaki noodle dish) O: Oooh DJ: Saraudon? J: Yes DJ: How unexpected, how was it? J: Among udon, it’s raised udon K: Noodles? DJ: Agemen maybe? (normal ramen noodles which are fried until crispy then poured with thick soup w/ veggies cr: jalousied) J: It’s a special flavor DJ: Special flavor J: Hmm DJ: A flavor you haven’t tried before? For the first time? J: That’s right DJ: Eeeh, that sounds pleasant. How about Key? K: We ate a ton of local specialties but this year I got to go to a lot of places I hadn’t before, like going to an onsen for the first time. DJ: Onsen? J: Yes, and I went to a shrine for the first time DJ: Yes K: Hiroshima, Hiroshima’s famous shrine, Miyajima O: Aaah DJ: Aaah Miyajima K: Miyajima’s shrine. Yes, we rode a boat and took a trip DJ: How about Taemin? T: Mmmmm…..Hitsumabushi (grilled eel on rice) DJ: Aaah, hitsumabushi is delicious isn’t it? T: For me, I like anything so DJ: You like anything T: I like everything DJ: You like everything. That’s great. You got to eat a lot of good foods while on tour. Let’s hear from everyone, how was it? M: For me, definitely, I like hitsumabushi the most. DJ: You like hitsumabushi M: It gives us powerful energy DJ: Eel power M: Yes DJ: It help you get through your hard tour schedule M: Yes DJ: It looks like you had fun eating Japan’s local specialties. Well then, for this tour, on Deptember 24th you released your third album, “I’m Your Boy” like the tour name. Like the title, “I’m. Your. Boy.” the songs and jacket make one feel close to SHINee. What kind of album is it, please explain? Any favorite songs? K: This album, “I’m Your Boy” is SHINee’s third album, but it has everything form dance tunes to ballad songs. It expresses SHINee in many ways for you to enjoy. It’s a colorful album. DJ: Certainly K: And since it’s the third album now, we’ve shown even more growth (as artists) than before. If you listen and feel, you’ll be happy DJ: Do the members have any favorite songs, like “you should hear this song”? O: There’s a song that suits winter. DJ: Which song? O: Colors of the Season DJ: Aaaah, it’s good, ballad feeling, calm and gentle. Any others? M: For me, I like Picasso DJ: Picasso, for Minho it’s Picasso M: *sings Picasso* DJ: I want to hear a bit more of Picasso! M: I’m sorry DJ: I could wave my penlight. Each and every song on the album is colorful and enjoyable. Listeners please listen to it. Also among everything, you have big news. S: Yes DJ: Please introduce it J: Next year on March 14 and 15 we’ll have a performance at Tokyo Dome DJ: Yay! Tokyo Dome! This is your first solo performance at Tokyo Dome. O: Yes J: That’s right DJ: Next year on March 14 and 15 and for 2 days, this tour’s special edition. Your thoughts, desires and enthusiasm for next year’s Tokyo Dome, how is it? J: It’s a place that’s been our goal since debut. To be able to do a live there makes us really happy. DJ: You’re happy right K: I want to hurry and do it DJ: You’re in a hurry aahh O: I’m thrilled/nervous DJ: From now you’ll look forward to it S: Yes DJ: How will it be different from this tour? K: Oh course we’ll rearrange the arena tour a bit, and make a Tokyo Dome version DJ: I’m looking forward to it! Everyone can share your feelings and enthusiasm for Tokyo Dome. We’ve talked about a lot things. This interview will be broadcasted on December 16th, and 2014 will almost be over. How was 2014 for SHINee? O: This year has been fulfilling. We released our third album, “I’m Your Boy” and with it we had a nationwide tour. We went to a lot of places we hadn’t been to before and were able to meet a lot of people who came to watch the lives. That was what made me happiest. DJ: It was fun and I’m happy. With that passion it seems like you had a happy 2014. Please continue to show such enthusiasm next year. Please give the listeners one last message M: Everyone, thank you for always cheering us on.
