Encyclopedia of Badassery- Entry #467: Meet 19yr old David Aguilar of Andorra, who in 2017 constructed a working prosthetic arm for himself out of LEGOs. Born without a right forearm and hand, David made his first LEGO arm at age 9 - but the basic little-kid bricks weren’t strong or versatile enough to be functional. V2.0 was made a few years later with a helicopter set, battery pack, and monofilament, which worked way better and allows him to flex, rotate, and grip objects.
