Message of today is about living with intention. This image is a channeled painting of Ascended Master Melchizedek. Today marks the beginning of the ancient celebration of Saturnalia when ancient Romans would generate the grain and harvest God Saturn and pray for an abundant return of crops. It was acknowledgment of a God of fertility and time who was once said to have provided mankind with an open and eternal free and everlasting bounty in the golden age before time. On this day revelries would be had, masters would serve their servants (a tradition adopted by the Victorians on Boxing Day) and humble gifts would be exchanged representing the power of reciprocity and exchange (this is where we get our Christmas gift giving from now). Saturn was seen then by the Romans as a Divine Father figure - a source of light and life. The same light and life that we call back at this time of the year as the Sun - the Child of Promise invoked by Pagans and the Messiah - the Son of God venerated by Christians at this time. Look into the mandala then and call back the light of your own hope and joy now and celebrate the promise of its return.
