Kam's tried to ignore it. But...Ever since his powers have come in full swing? He's noticed something...Off about Declan's energies. And the amount of spirits that seemed to loom around him. Kam didn't like to assume things. Especially about people he liked. But...His gut was telling him that not everything with Declan is as it seems. But regardless? He needs to know what it is exactly. "Declan? Has...Has everything been okay with you recently?"

brody couldn't help but to grin as he looked at the other man. "you know, i've never been shy of a little chaos. but don't you think this is dramatic? even for you?" brody asked with a chuckle. hyperboy was known for impersonating his name a bit too much. often times seeming as if he is on a constant sugar high and never running out of energy. well...other than the league's one weakness. their bodies tended to be a bit...sensitive to sexual persuasion. "perhaps you should take a vacation or something?" hyperboy taunted with a grin.

Kam wanted to believe him. Wanted to trust him. But...His gut was telling him otherwise. Hell, some of the spirits here were telling him otherwise. And what reason did he have to not trust them? Kam took a deep breath and let his eyes flutter close. Allowing his senses to flare out for a moment. "So why do I sense bloodlust from you?" Kam asked as he opened his eyes, narrowing them. His heart pounding as he slowly approached the other. "What's really going on here?"

It had been almost a year since Declan had last indulged in his more… primal desires, much longer than he ever had put off satisfying his urges. He could feel the twitch in his fingers that had steadily been getting worse over the last couple days, the need to feel a throat in his grip, to hear the fear and agony as he took everything that he wanted from them, drawing out their suffering before finally snuffing it out. He could feel his heart pounding, blood rushing in his ears as the need filled him, not hearing the question from the boy beside him. “Hmm?” He glanced over at Kam, taking a breath to calm himself. He had picked Kam out months ago, spending weeks following him, learning his habits and schedules, before he introduced himself and charmed his way into Kam’s life, leading him on and stoking the crush that he knew the other would develop. All leading up to this moment, leading Kam all alone to his secluded cabin in the woods, the perfect place for him to take his time truly enjoying everything the boy could give him. “Oh I’m alright…. Just nervous is all” he laughed, settling into the suave and charming personality that people couldn’t help but fall in love with. “I just was hoping to make today a perfect first date for us”
