BG3 Tarot Update!
12 people so far have responded to the form- tysm!! Those who prompted in for the tag list I will begin that soon, but for now I'm gonna just post this update.
Tumblr media
°‧★ Anyone new seeing this post, quick rundown is I'm making a fully functional 78 card tarot deck around things from bg3. I post all my updates under #bg3 tarot on this blog! ☆⋆。
Tumblr media
PLEASE NOTE: From here, card designs contain companion ending spoilers !!
I've began working on both The Lovers card (aylin x isobel) along with The High Priestess (selunite shadowheart). Finalized designs will be posted once done and the designs will probably be fixed slightly before I release the entire deck, which will take a VERY long time btw.
More information on some design decisions, major arcana lineup, how i will distribute the decks +more!!⬇️⬇️
First off, another huge thanks to the people who responded to my form!
Back Design:
The decision of the gold + purple was reinforced through the responses with over 50% of responses voting for it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was also some helpful feedback given too, I really appreciate it! I'll likely tweak some colors and the center design slightly and post it on the next update
Frame Design
Complex won by far, and I totally agree. This is pretty much final with a bit of room for color and symbol tweaks for consistency between the back and front of cards. Lots of great feedback on this once again, thanks!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Major Arcana line up!
This is probably the biggest decision for this project, and the lineup two won in the polls with 66.7% voting for it. So, what does those mean? It means that as I shuffle around the minor arcana placements a bit (which are set but not finalized or released) I'm now able to provide more diversity of characters in the cards. Minor arcana will be the next big poll, stay tuned!
Below is details on line up two :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly...how will these decks turn to physical form?
I've done lots of thinking on this, and once more, this info is not final! Due to my distrust and/or lack of funds for the several large manufacturers I have looked into, I will likely make the decks by hand and sell them on my etsy. I've found several methods that which i am yet to test in the upcoming months that would ideally make a high quality and similar product to if I followed through with a large manufacturer such as mpc. Pros to this would be I can better manage the quality and design of this, and it may actually be more cost wise for me while still making a good product. Cons, it's extremely time consuming. This means I'll probably have to make smaller batches to sell than I would with a manufacturer and have them be spaced out, along with opening my shop over the summer as I have no time otherwise (I am a student)
Anyways, my main worry is the designs right now. More updates on this later :))
Tumblr media
Concepts? Questions? Ideas? Want to be added to the taglist?
PM me or comment! I'm happy to answer

Enchanted South Tarot Deck
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Enchanted South Tarot deck is inspired by the rich history and symbolism of tarot and imbedded with imagery derived from the folklore, fauna, flora, and objects of the Southeast United States. Utilizing the enduring archetypes of historical decks such as the Rider-Waite-Smith, this deck features 78 original drawings depicting the lush colors, diverse plants and animals, and meaningful objects associated with the region. Traditional tarot metaphors are reimagined in this deck through magnolia seeds, honeysuckle blooms, moonshine bottles, mosquito wings, and more.
The E. S. tarot deck combines traditional tarot imagery with fauna, flora, and artifacts of the American Southeast. These elements are depicted through a whimsical lens that incorporates fairytales, folklore, and magic to create illustrations that illuminate the magic of my childhood spent playing make-believe alone in the woods. The deck incorporates lush greens, mushrooms, and insects.
All decks will come with 78 cards of the Major and Minor Arcana featuring the original artwork of Hannah Mathis, a downloadable guidebook that overviews the history of tarot, common spreads, and card interpretations for the deck, and a hunter-green velvet carrying bag.
Purchase Options:
The Honeysuckle/Basic Deck: Deck, Velvet Carrying Bag, and Downloadable Guidebook
The Magnolia: Deck, Velvet Carrying Bag, and Downloadable Guidebook, and one-of-a-kind handpainted storage box ($80 value)
The Okra: Deck, Velvet Carrying Bag, and Downloadable Guidebook, one-of-a-kind handpainted storage box, and 8"x10" limited edition print ($110 value)
Imperfect Deck: Deck with slight imperfections that did not quite pass QC. Comes with downloadable guidebook.

Using Tarot To Help You Write
Right ok, so I’ve wanted to do this for a bit - there are vague references to tarot in my story TRT and I’ve answered a few questions about how I use the RWS-style tarot to write but now I have a little bit of time while I wait for my laundry to dry. So let’s get into it.
If you’re looking for another tool in your writer’s kit, you could strongly consider adding a box of tarot cards to the bag. Set aside, for a minute, what you’ve heard about it. Set aside any spiritual aspect, telling the future, the ‘OoOOOooOOh evil’, or even the ‘DRAW DEATH MEANS DEATH’ you see in movies. Instead, strip it down to its base.
Tarot is about telling a story.
(Below: Oak, Ash, & Thorn Tarot)
Tumblr media
From a storytelling perspective, the first 18 cards of the RWS style tarot, known as the Major Arcana, essentially tell the Hero’s Journey as the Hero sets out on an adventure and searches for knowledge. There’s disaster, love, temptation, and wise people they meet along the way before eventually finding enlightenment at the end of their journey. The Major Arcana contains major archetypes and themes present through so many stories. When you add in the rest of the cards in the Minor Arcana - the other 56 cards, encompassing a variety of emotions, archetypes, figures, and various life events you might run into - you’ve got something perfect when you want to introduce new elements to your story. I keep a small deck on my desk and use it frequently when creating random OCs, plotlines, or problems for characters to solve.
And before you go, holy shit Pasta that’s a lot to take in, using tarot for your story doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need to have 20 years of tarot experiences, you don’t need to be an expert, you don’t need A Great Gift. You don’t have to know about tarot at all, really. You just need one thing:
The right storytelling deck.
More below the cut.
Look, there are a million styles out there, some that focus heavily on storytelling imagery and some that focus more on symbols; some that feature animals or nature, and some that focus on people. I generally lean towards animal-based decks since I’m more familiar with animal/nature imagery, body language, and symbolism, but in reality the best deck to use for writing is simply the one you’ll actually use. If you’re drawn to one, go for it. That being said, if you’re looking for something to use without needing to get into all the symbolism of each card, I generally recommend using a deck in which all cards, including the Minor Arcana, depict a scene you can examine - aka, one that plays up a story rather than a straight up symbol. Let me show you an example with three decks.
Left: Mystical Cats tarot; Middle: Oriens tarot; Right: Children of Litha tarot
Tumblr media
These all depict the same card: the Seven of Swords, meant to depict deceit, theft, betrayal, lies, and trickery. The middle card relies a little more heavily on symbolic meaning (the black widow spider, which ‘betrays’ when mating and uses a sticky web - symbolizing a potential trap), whereas the other two cards show an active scene (Card 1: OH NO HE’S GONNA STEAL YER MOUSE WHILE YOU’RE NOT LOOKING; Card 3: YOU LOVESTRUCK DIPSHITS, TURN AROUND, THE SNAKE’S EATING YOUR EGGS). I’ve found cards like Card 1 and Card 3 are faster and more convenient for storytelling, because you’re basically presented with a scenario/characters/a situation right off the bat, whereas a symbolic card is more open-ended and might require some digging unless you’re already fairly familiar with the symbolism. If you’re going to get a deck that depicts people instead, I recommend looking for a deck that’s diverse. Humans come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and having a deck that reflects that (something like the Modern Witch tarot) is valuable for storytelling. So if you’re picking a deck to help you write, look for:
Decks that use scenes/storytelling imagery for all cards
Decks with imagery/body language you can easily read at a glance
If you’re looking for a deck with people - decks with a diverse range of body types, ethnicities, sexualities, and genders
A deck with imagery you actually like, otherwise you won’t want to use it
‘Ok, so let’s say I’ve found a deck, or I already have one. What does using tarot for fic even look like?’
Let’s do two quick readings for two writing scenarios you might use this for! This will also show you can be as complex or as simple as you need to be. These are also the two scenarios I use tarot for most when writing - character construction, and plotline construction. First I’ll use the Children of Litha tarot, which uses a moderate amount of storytelling imagery. Then I’ll use the Mystical Cats tarot, which is probably the most story-heavy deck I have, imagery-wise. That way, you can see how construction gets a bit easier depending on how scene-heavy a deck is.
Scenario: I need an original character for this chapter or scene! Quick, draw three cards!
Tumblr media
Quick reading: she’s very gentle but there are also two tigers inside her and one of them wants to kill you, especially if you fuck with her pet birds
More complex reading - Personality, Flaw, Backstory:
Card 1 - Personality: This character is someone who’s unafraid and bold in their kindness even when faced with danger, and they know when a gentle touch is needed. They believe strength is found not in being cruel or violent but in responding with love. This usually works out for them, to the point that even Scary People (TM) seek this character out, knowing they’ll find love and affection. Alternatively, this character is one half of the Brooding Rough One Loves The Gentle Soft One trope. Whatever works for you!
Card 2 - Flaw: Despite all that, the gentle character’s got a temper, and it exists in direct conflict to what they believe about strength, thus producing cognitive dissonance. This is someone who’ll dodge conflict to avoid showing their temper, but eventually that repression’s going to blow up into a real fight and it’ll be messy.
Card 3 - backstory: This temper and conflict avoidance is due to some tragic incident in their past that left them deeply wounded. It’s one reason they’re so gentle, but there’s a lot of lingering anger and trauma. These wounds are not healed, and if you look deep enough, you’re going to find blood.
Depending on how important this character is, you could add even more: a card for a strength, a card for a challenge they need to overcome to grow as a person, their family dynamic, etc. Again, you can make it as detailed or as simple as you need.
PASTA NOW I NEED A LITTLE PLOTLINE FOR CHARACTERS TO SOLVE. Quick, draw four!
Tumblr media
Quick reading: holy SHIT your characters gotta move fast, cause there’s a pissed off dude out there who wants revenge NOW and is ready to fuck up a *shuffles cards and draws* religious temple of peaceful cat loving monks, one of whom is the one that fucked up Angry Dude in the first place WHEN HE WAS A BABY WITH HIS MAMA, PLOT TWIST OH NO, IT’S PROBABLY THAT ASSHOLE STEVE IN THE BACK OF THE THIRD CARD, LOOK AT HIM LOOKING OFF INTO THE DISTANCE.
More complex reading - Theme, Problem, Setting, Solution:
Card 1 - Theme: As you can tell from our cat with zoomies, your protagonists are on a clock. The theme here is urgency, it’s speed. Things will start off with a bang and they won’t have much time to slow down. This’d be good for a one shot or a chapter.
Card 2 - Problem: look at that cat, they’re so ANGRY, they are PISSED, someone did them dirty and they’ve been stewing over it for a while. They can’t stop feeling that betrayal no matter how much they try to lick it off shake it off forget about it. They want REVENGE for what was done to them and they’re gonna cut someone up.
Card 3 - Setting: Ah, a peaceful, sunny place where everyone’s just chilling. Everyone’s happy. Maybe a religious place, say, a church or a convent or hell, a nudist retreat. Either way, no one knows what’s coming. Except (and this is why scene cards are so fun)... for STEVE there in the back. Look at him. Everyone’s relaxing in the sun but he’s staring out into the distance. He knows. And just like that, Steve’s the In Hiding person who betrayed our Problem - Steve the Asshole isn’t a part of the Sun card’s meaning, but a storytelling scene card lets you stretch like this and have fun.
Card 4 - solution: Clearly the only person who can stop Bad Person... is their MAMA (or potentially his siblings). Maybe a character goes to find the Problem’s mother and brings her to the church to talk the Problem into giving up. Maybe the protagonists desperately tell the Problem that your family wouldn’t have wanted this, even if that family was hurt - the Empress is generally very nurturing and loving, so that’s a fair bet. Either way, the solution to the Problem is their family.
Once you get the hang of this, you’ll start to find other ways you can use it. I’ve used it for creating quick or more complex or more randomized characters, for creating plotlines and character arcs, for a few of Jane’s cases in TRT. You can use it for backstories, for settings, for problems and solutions, for deeper themes to explore with your characters. Hell, if you want some practice, you could literally go through the Major Arcana and write one-shots dealing with each card’s theme. Ultimately the possibilities are endless, whether you want to construct a detailed plotline or if you just have a new character you want to randomize or flesh out a bit.
In short: go get yourself a deck and have some fun!

TAROT READING//Bummie's view on mingkey relationship
Tumblr media
Date: 16/Jan/2024 Marker: Selca, Music Deck of Cards: Trungles' Star Spinner Tarot (Inclusive, Diverse, LGBTQ Theme)
Notes Upfront:
I don't ask my cards questions that I already have answers;
I don't prey on information I should not know;
I respect their personal lives and;
This is for FUN ONLY.
ʕ•̫͡ ʔ stream Minho's Stay For A Night!! -ㅂ-
This time, the song I recommend listening to while reading is Bummie's Ain't Gonna Dance
"But let me break it down for ya honey I ain't gon' dance for your loving"
Now...Ready to glimpse into Bummie's view??
Tumblr media
Base Card: 10 of Coins Past: King of Cups R Now: 10 of Cups Future: 6 of Swords Past to Now: The Lovers Reverse Now to Future: 8 of Coins Reverse Result Card: 7 of Wands
Please take time looking at the cards before proceeding to read the readings, thanks. . . . . . Readings:
If ming's cards manifest honesty, bummie gives me a very strong sense of rationality. Despite so many cups here (family ties, romantic love, and self-love), bummie is a very goal-orientated individual who doesn't let the floats of emotion impact his career and personal life. He has become a little control freak, hehe. But it is totally understandable. After losing his grandma, jjong and ming (++ refer to the romantic section for elaboration) , bummie is trying to re-gain control through being a workaholic, so to express his heartbroken sadness in work and art. Good news is, he feels very content about his career, financial status, relationships, and where he and ming at. However, one might argue that he is a bit cruel and possibly, selfish - maintaining the status quo because he is one who has more say in their relationship.
Let's look at the past. The reversed king of cups immediately brings that shy bummie back to my mind. He was delicate, sensitive, on-the-edge in the debut times, but full of dreams and determined to make a career out of himself as a multi-talented idol. He didn't hesitant much at the decision of leaving Daegu to Seoul for his dream, even that meant completely new environment, living alone, and not being able to spend more time with his family. Especially his grandmother, the one raised him, and understood him (as I am typing, I still sense the warmness in bummie's heart whenever he thinks of her. He never stops missing her). And that is rationality v.s. emotions from day 1. Kibum has been really hard on himself since the beginning and loneliness, the feeling of out-of-place & isolation had consumed him. But he could handle those...then he met Choi Minho. A bit dramatic? No. Ming made bummie doubting whether the industry (and fans) would welcome someone like him. Worse. He hurt bummie in ways that reminded bummie his wronged times back in Daegu. A less developed city where you see more discrimination and bully against people who want to be themselves instead of being others. That is why bummie got all work up and self-protective when he is around ming. And bummie is as stubborn as ming, he overcomes the side-eyes like breathing fine air.
He didn't know how to overcome ming tho.
It is getting very hard not to analyze it in romantic ways because the lovers dropped, yes, but also because the lovers card is the only major arcana appeared in the result - meaning it is very IMPORTANT. (ming has both the world and the lovers, emphasizing how much he wants to make things right between them, and romantic love could be a good option) However, I will try to give a platonic reading first.
Bummie has been rational dealing with emotions, yet ming is his exception. The frictions, the fights, and the upsets slipped into his heart & left a void that bummie learnt to distance himself from ming and from getting hurt. It doesn't mean bummie doesn't care about ming. He does, deeply. And seeing ming happy makes bummie so happy that he is willing to sacrifice his own desires. Don't forget how sensitive, loving and caring bummie is. He is just too good at choosing rationality instead of his own wants. Taking the left-on-read messages as an example, bummie needed his own space/time to grieve, so he prioritized healing his own heart before ming's enthusiasm to bond. Even if that means hurting ming, means his heart ached at the realization he is hurting ming, and giving away the chance to be closer with ming. Bummie was resolved on the idea of not allowing anything ANYTHING to hurt his precious precious heart.
And looking at the base card, the king of coins, bummie is pretty satisfied with his decision. He enjoys ming being around (in the distance he sets for them), and he wasn't lying when he compares ming to commedes and garçons in the LG Object Collection show. Ming is loyal and bummie knows he can count on that - he loves ming supporting him (both his career and personal life), accompanying him, and comforting him. Ming is not just a good friend, he is family that stays in bummie's softest part. And well, also occasionally way too often gifts bummie. Gifting luxury gifts really isn't ming's love language but serving is, so when ming realized how much bummie loves getting gifts from him he nods yes. This little agreement is very sweet (remember I said ming is always READY to become a good boy for bummie?). In this way, their friendship will grow and profound like evergreen.
Before continuing on, I want to throw a harmless joke here...we have a "clown" in ming's reading, and a "simp" here again. Poor boy. But bummie is just trying to be careful and protective.
!!skip this part if you only see them as platonic friends/co-workers and resume when you see exclamation mark again!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, come on! Look at the cards here, I bet your reading is more straightforward than mine. A lovers at the reverse signifies difficult communication, one-sided love, and the awareness of impossible love. In this case, I believe all of them are present. Bummie will never say that word if he knows all he gets is rejection. What is even sadder is he never stops loving ming (flowers continue blooming) while he believes so stubbornly that his feeling is unrequited. That he believes one day in the future, ming will fall in love (and get married) like those happy endings in the fairytales. But not with him. When that happens, bummie will stay in the little castle he build himself, enjoy aglass of wine and the cuddles of commedes & garçons, and gives his sincere good wishes. He will continue focus on his works and avoids to even think about the possibility between ming and him because of what he learnt through the years. Bummie is sensitive, and many times a cry baby.
But he doesn't want to cry anymore.
!!resume here!!
Bummie will continue focusing on work>relationship. However, I can see this attitude sets him back sometimes, because the emptiness in his heart withholds him from some deep connections. He dates/interacts with others, of course, but those love are not enough to fill the hole in his heart. In the end, we have the 6 of swords, carrying sorrow and unsatisfied feelings to the future. Bummie is hurt because of their seemingly-ok-but-not-balanced relationship, he is even more hurt because he now realizes that ming is hurt. Payback...almost, but bummie really does not want a sad face on ming. That is why I eagerly pulled up a result card, since 6 of swords can also mean good fruit after growing up from sad lessons. And I am pleased to see the seven of wands here. This card means the difficulties we face to continue to have success. And I believe they will figure things out, in the best way possible to nurture their relationship and career development.

youtube
<<Pile 2>>
Tumblr media
Your card: The Sun
You like artwork that is dazzling and exuberant. You don't mind a little quirkiness as you think it adds flare to the artwork. On top of that, I think you like artwork that is fun and has many things for you to look at. I would recommend you Tarot Del Fuego.
youtube
<<Pile 3>>
Tumblr media
Your card: The Devil
I don't know why but I feel like you are not someone who will shy away from artwork that showcases a lot of nudity and sexuality. You prefer a very bold type of aesthetic. I think I have to recommend you a tarot deck with erotic theme. The Tarot of Sexual Magic will be a good fit for you.
**Sorry, can't insert the flip through video of the Tarot of Sexual Magic here as it is age-restricted and is only available on YouTube.**

Women of Science Tarot
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, but I have some thoughts and women’s history month seems like the time to do it!
I picked this deck up at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL. It comes with a guidebook and the car stock has a matte finish, I’d say the weight of it is on the lighter side.
I have very mixed feelings. On the one hand, I adore that I have so many women that I hadn’t even heard of at my fingertips to learn about. I like what they did with the suit names (mostly) The guide book descriptions focus more on the accomplishments of the person featured on the card. But, I feel like the minor arcana got the short end of the stick art-wise. All the women pictured are basically in the same pose and all that really changes is the iconography of their specialty.
The major arcana are diverse and unique, their imagery really tells a story, and it almost feels a little rushed I guess that the whole deck didn’t get the same treatment.
I was SO excited to grab this, but overall I feel like it just didn’t have as much personality as I like in my decks. I’m happy to add it to my collection, but I don’t know that I’ll be reaching to read with it all that often.

Orlando Tarot Advisors: Unveiling the Mystical Insights of Tarot
Orlando Tarot Advisors
Tumblr media
In the vibrant city of Orlando, a hub of entertainment and spirituality, Tarot advisors offer profound insights and guidance to those seeking clarity in their lives. As the world becomes increasingly fast-paced and complex, many individuals are turning to Tarot readings to find answers, explore their innermost thoughts, and navigate the uncertainties of the future. This article delves into the significance of Tarot readings, the skills of Orlando’s Tarot advisors, and how these mystical practices intertwine with astrology and spirituality.
Understanding Tarot: A Brief Overview
Tarot is a deck of cards that has been used for centuries as a tool for divination and introspection. Each card is rich with symbolism and meaning, representing various aspects of life, including emotions, challenges, relationships, and spiritual growth. A typical Tarot deck consists of 78 cards, divided into the Major Arcana (22 cards representing significant life events and spiritual lessons) and the Minor Arcana (56 cards focusing on everyday situations and experiences).
The History of Tarot
The origins of Tarot can be traced back to the 15th century in Europe, where it was initially used for playing games. It wasn’t until the late 18th century that Tarot began to be associated with mysticism and fortune-telling. The cards are believed to tap into the subconscious mind, offering insights that can help individuals make sense of their experiences and choices.
The Symbolism of Tarot Cards
Each Tarot card carries unique symbols and imagery that convey deeper meanings. For instance, the Fool card signifies new beginnings and spontaneity, while the Death card represents transformation and change. A skilled Tarot advisor interprets these symbols within the context of the querent's life, providing tailored insights that resonate on a personal level.
The Role of Tarot Advisors in Orlando
Orlando is home to a diverse community of Tarot advisors, each with their unique approach and expertise. These advisors serve as guides, helping individuals navigate their life paths by interpreting the messages within the Tarot cards. Here are some of the key roles that Tarot advisors play:
1. Providing Clarity and Guidance
One of the primary functions of a Tarot advisor is to help clients gain clarity on specific issues or challenges they face. Whether it’s about love, career, or personal growth, a Tarot reading can shed light on underlying factors and offer actionable advice. The cards provide a mirror reflecting the querent’s inner thoughts, fears, and aspirations, allowing them to see their situation from a new perspective.
2. Facilitating Self-Reflection
Tarot readings encourage self-reflection, prompting individuals to examine their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through the guidance of a Tarot advisor, clients can explore their motivations and desires, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves. This self-awareness can lead to transformative changes in their lives, empowering them to make informed decisions.
3. Offering Spiritual Insights
Tarot is often intertwined with spiritual practices, as it taps into universal energies and archetypes. Many Tarot advisors incorporate spiritual principles into their readings, helping clients connect with their higher selves and the greater universe. This spiritual aspect can provide a sense of peace and comfort, particularly during challenging times.
4. Creating a Safe Space for Exploration
Tarot advisors in Orlando create a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to share their concerns. This safe space fosters open communication, allowing individuals to express their thoughts and emotions freely. The trust established between the advisor and the client enhances the effectiveness of the reading, leading to more meaningful insights.
How Tarot and Astrology Intersect
Tarot and astrology are both powerful tools for self-discovery and understanding the cosmic influences that shape our lives. While they are distinct practices, they share common themes and can complement each other in profound ways.
1. Understanding Astrological Influences
Astrology is the study of celestial bodies and their influence on human behavior and events. By analyzing an individual’s astrological chart, which is based on their birth date, time, and location, astrologers can gain insights into their personality, strengths, and challenges. Tarot advisors often use astrology as a backdrop for their readings, providing additional context to the messages conveyed by the cards.
2. Tarot as a Reflection of Astrological Energies
Many Tarot cards correspond to astrological signs and planets. For instance, The Emperor card is associated with the sign of Aries and embodies leadership and authority. By incorporating astrological elements into their readings, Tarot advisors can offer a more comprehensive understanding of the client’s situation, highlighting the cosmic energies at play.
3. Timing and Decision-Making
Astrology can help individuals understand the timing of significant events in their lives. When combined with Tarot, advisors can provide insights into the most auspicious times for making decisions or pursuing new opportunities. This integration allows clients to align their actions with the cosmic energies, enhancing the likelihood of positive outcomes.

Some Tarot advisors incorporate psychic abilities into their readings, using their heightened sensitivity to connect with the querent’s energy. This can enhance the reading by providing additional layers of insight that go beyond the cards themselves. Psychic Tarot readers may receive visions, messages, or impressions that inform their interpretations.
3. Astrological Tarot Readings
As mentioned earlier, some Tarot advisors combine astrology with Tarot readings. By analyzing your astrological chart alongside the Tarot cards, they can offer a more holistic view of your life path and challenges. This approach is particularly beneficial for individuals seeking guidance on timing and decision-making.
4. Traditional Tarot Readings
Traditional Tarot readings focus on the classic meanings and interpretations of the cards. TAROT READING//Bum's Bubble pic & Mingkey's perspectives
Tumblr media
Date: 30/Jan/2024 Marker: the pic Deck of Cards: Trungles' Star Spinner Tarot (Inclusive, Diverse, LGBTQ Theme)
Notes Upfront:
I don't ask my cards questions that I already have answers;
I don't prey on information I should not know;
I respect their personal lives and;
This is for FUN ONLY.
Today we will be looking at mingkey's perspectives when the pic was taken, and the second day when bummie sent it to the bubble.
✦ Let's jump right into it!! I am very excited to share this quick reading because the whole situation matches with the death card I pulled out last time (the one in Jjong's view) ✦
Tumblr media
Forgive my type "2nd day" The Pic Day Bummie: Fortitude The Pic Day Ming: 5 of Wands R The Second Day Bummie: Hanged Man R The Second Day Ming: Lovers R
Please take time looking at the cards before proceeding to read the readings, thanks. . . . . . Readings:
I hope everyone enjoyed Keyland and the adrenaline rash when seeing Bummie's bubble pic. Today's reading is very concise and straightforward, mapping out energies that I received on their mindset and relationship dynamic day one (jan/28) and two (jan/29). A simple glance at it, there are three major arcanas that stress how important this means for them - being close with each other and celebrating special moments together. Friends, Laughter, the beauty of accomplishment, and of course...drinks and good food and silly jokes. This is home. Ming and bummie always feel at home around each other. This is something more than home, because we all feel the intimacy penetrating through the phone screen just by seeing the pic. Bummie's Fortitude card says the same: a determined mind that concentrating on the pure lotus flower. I failed bummie because I though he is not strong enough. I was wrong. Our Bummie is much stronger than I expected, and not only he is able to protect himself, but also protect people around him. He still values the simplest things, the love and connection.
"Never chase the famous" right?
It made me laugh because Jjong reminded bummie do not focus on materials when he is with ming. I guess it is Jjong telling bummie if he wants to be rational in this relationship, at least treats ming fairly like he treats the work. It's that "do you like the bag or do you like me?" interrogation all over again, hehe. Something else that I pick up is that Bummie was drunk, but not blacked out drunk and he made the move to sit on ming's lap platonically. He just felt the vibe and followed his heart, it is the warmness he desired.
But it is not that simple for ming. The reversed 5 of wands represents a dilemma that ming is going through, the dilemma between maintaining the fragile peace aka the status quo they tried so hard to create, and the fear that if he makes the step but it goes south. Seeing the five wands piercing into ming's body, again, reminds me his "grieving addiction". He is hesitant to step further and avoids the possibility of changing their relationship dynamic because he does not want to tear open the old wound between them back in teenager times. He is okay with bummie taking the leads, even if it hurts his self-esteem, and he serves like habits. Do notice that ming is a very passionate individual that he hugs to squeeze others into his body, and he is DRUNK here, but he rests his hands on bummie so gently only to keep bummie from falling. Nothing shows possessiveness. He wants more, of course, and it is not about romantic/sexual but because he loves bummie. Simply like that.
.
.
.
The Second Day:
I am very curious of why bummie has shared this special moment with us so I asked my cards. Was he still drunk? Or he just wanted to flex their friendship? Seeing the reversed hanged man is both mind-relieving and concerning because it shows 1) bummie is out of the suffocating times (hanged man upright, see the reading of Jjong's view) that he experienced during keyland preparation, he is now able to express feelings directly, and connecting with ming is breathing - lungs full of air that he wants to shout to the world how good he feels, however, 2) he celebrates this moment's euphoria but still avoids the tensions between them in the future. It is a one time joy, yet sharing it feels so right. He wants us to know he is doing ok, he is happy, he is with ming, and everything is going to be alright. The stars protect him and he is so proud of how far he and ming has walked to achieve this harmony.
On ming's side, in the beginning, I did not understand why my card gives me the lovers (girl & girl) because it is always the lover (boy & boy) before. Then, I see how similar both the cards' designs look, and it demonstrates that mingkey are in the same reality but different mindsets and attitudes. The apples signify the fruit (outcomes) they look forward getting from this particular interaction. Bummie's card focuses on personal growth, while ming is much more sensual, craving to bond with bummie more intensely. As if ming is saying that "you sent this private pic to the shawols, does that not mean you are validating our intimacy?" Ming is processing the idea, and it is a very sweet jealousy that he truly wants bummie to give him more attention. Perhaps this is the death card we got couple days ago, the little step that manifests change, and perhaps, just perhaps, they will realize how madly they are in love.
