-> pt2 of this [recap] -> you’re just about to point out that you are, in fact, just a fake girlfriend but before you can wonyoung interrupts you, tilting your face towards her in a way that leaves your lips inches away from hers (and leaves you completely breathless), her tone dripping with urgency, “he’s looking. kiss me now.”

your fake girlfriend’s arm drapes itself over your shoulder, “but yn.. i’m the one who’s sad.. you know, i’d asked my girlfriend to kiss me, but she ended up biting my lip. i think i even saw a little blood…” you try to push her figure off of you, only for her to loop another under your knees and position you to sit on her lap with astonishing ease.

“or should i take it to mean that you were just that excited to kiss me, hmm~?” she’s teasing you, trying to rile you up – you know that. 

but since when did fake dating involve.. this much intimacy? wonyoung is still whining about how much your action pained her, you panicked okay?!, but the casual way she rests her hand on your hip and her face nuzzles into your neck, placing kisses which seem to be dangerously lowering with every successive brush of her lips on your skin.., just seems a bit too real to be considered a show.

when you’d asked her, wonyoung had an answer ready at the tip of her tongue, “we need to practice; yn c’mon you seriously don’t expect people to believe us if you keep acting all stiff. we need practice.” and voila, she’d invited herself into your house.

you ignored the dull glint of .. something you couldn’t really understand in her usually bright eyes. you ignored how her rigid expression felt like a knife to your heart.

“hey.,” 2 hands press against your face, forcing your lips into a little pout, “pay attention to me.” you think she’s still being playful, but her expression is the most serious you’ve ever seen it.. 

and then, a featherlight touch of her lips on yours.

it leaves you a little dizzy, to be honest. you’ve kissed before, and this was barely even considerable comparing your past ‘practice’ sessions with wonyoung.. so maybe it’s something about this moment in particular. 

you’d long accepted that she’d only remain a hallway crush, an alluring daydream. because you knew there was no way you could get over her unless.. unless maybe if you got the closure you needed. that you and her could never happen. which was why you’d accepted her plea to be her fake girlfriend. 

you’d hope the way she was basically using you would be enough to knock some sense back into your love lost brain. but it didn’t. you realized if it was wonyoung, you’d be okay with her doing whatever, however, whenever she wanted.

and maybe.. maybe your feelings weren’t completely hopeless. maybe you had a chance.

“wah yn- c’mon do you want me to beg?” wonyoung asks, her arms now moving to pull you closer to her, embracing you ever so tenderly, “i’ll do it if you want, you know? pleasee~ tell me why you were late to the party? you said something about an issue?”

you sigh, “it’s..complicated. a really long story. and it’s 2 am..”

“so? we have all the time in the world.” 

it’s really hard to argue with her in your current position, especially when her fingers are tracing soothing, mindless patterns on your back.

wonyoung decides you need further convincing, mumbling a “i want you to speak your mind around me yn.. let that mask of yours drop now.. please?” to do so.

gods, at this point you’d even tell her all your banking information if she wanted you to.

sohee ,. ! - guy who must be facing his s/o while sleeping !! gets to know and wakes up immediately when you start crying - clings to you like a koala that's it that's the hc. has his head buried in your neck, hands tied so so tightly around your waist which greatly help to ground you - also probably cracks a couple of really cringey jokes something along the lines of "i'll be your silver knight, my princess" but says it w the softest, sweetest expression and in the sincerest, honey-like tone that you can't help but melting completely :( - when he feels you've calmed down enough prob also initiates a tickle fight sorry i don't make the rules acc to him you need to laugh after a bout of crying okay??

anton ,. ! - guy who must be facing his s/o while sleeping (2) except his ass is not waking up unless you physically shake him awake - you'd probably do that though bc what better way to comfort you from a nightmare than your half-asleep bf's soothing voice? - bro is probably so out of it that he just very eloquently goes "wh huh wha" or something of that sort - when he's coherent enough (not really) he would sort of kind of roll up on top of you forgetting his 6'1 stature - but on the positive side his weight over you is a lot like a really comfy blanket (that can kiss your forehead w the utmost gentleness) - if you ask nicely he'll even sing you a lil lullaby to help you get back to sleep <3

the way song eunseok's figure rests on your bed can only be described as ethereal in its truest form. skin almost appearing to be touched with gold, you really can't help but kneel down at his side and let your adoring gaze take him up.

one of your hands allows itself to gently card through the strands of his hair as you rest your chin on the other.

you're supposed to be waking him up; he does have training, practice and so much more to get to.

but that thought has completely left you; mind only occupied by the way his eyelashes curl against his cheekbones, by the way his hair fans out gorgeously over the pillow, by the way his pretty lips remain ever so slightly apart - it takes everything in you to not drown him in kisses.

"till when are you planning on staring at me, hm?" eunseok's eyes are still closed and a barely-there smile adorns his face. you swear you could spend your entire lifetime doing so; not that you would ever say that to him.

a kiss to his forehead. one on either cheek. a couple scattered over his neck. you both struggle not shake with silent laughter; until the birthday boy finally reigns victorious over you - turning you around and successfully pinning you to the bed.

thinking about you and eunseok being the absolute epitome of an It Couple™; quite literally everyone wants to be you (or yk, .. with you)

but little do all your adoring fans and shippers know that your perfect relationship is in fact, fake.

i see it as having started out with you struggling to try to get over a close friend (maybe sungchan) who ended up indirectly rejected you without you even having confessed

something like “yo jinsu, you and y/n are a thing right?” “y/n? ah no, she’s like a sister to me! <3”

and eunseok ending up being your annoying knight in shining armor.. he’d console you and eventually also propose the idea of fake dating just to let sungchan see what he’s missing out on 

but somewhere along the path of "drafting out a set of rules to follow while fake dating" and being increasingly publicly affectionate with each other (“you guys are dating?? Prove it.”) (but also fleeting touches behind closed doors 🫣); you would find yourself being more and more confused by the blurring lines of your arrangement

eunseok‘s always had an especially flirty personality towards you but it’s only ever increased since you started “dating” and the cheesy pick up lines have started having a much greater effect on you than they should be

cozily mundane nights with bf!eunseok where you're settled over his lap, his chin resting on your shoulder and hands on your waist. on a laptop in front of you an anime plays; its vibrant graphics being the only source of the light in the room.

both pairs of eyes drooping with a certain heaviness but neither of you are able to find respite in the arms of sleep - and maybe neither of you minds that one bit. not when the comfort of the others' touch and the tranquility of the night provides a much more alluring means of intoxication.

throwing your head back when the characters do something particularly funny; notes of laughter ring out in the otherwise still night and eunseok swears no other sound, no other moment could make him more euphoric. he can't help but match your laughs with his own.

you know you both have things to get to and obviously an all nighter will not prove to be at all helpful if spent like this,.. but maybe that doesn't matter.

maybe the only thing that matters for now is that you're both with each other. maybe the only thing that matters is how the dark night fades ever so slowly into an orangey haze, filtering in through the windows and lighting your blissful (albeit sleep deprived) faces aglow.

eunseok ,. ! - he’s the type of guy who’d take charge and delegate work to everyone; to put it simply : BOSSY AF. dare i say dictator coded even, but hey, he just wants this to get over with yk?? - bit scary to work w at first but when if he warms up to you he might would definitely indulge in a lot of partiality; assign you the easier tasks/the tasks that you prefer + if someone pisses him off he would, w the nicest sweetest smile ever, assign them the worst possible task.. - can be bribed if you offer to help w his work though sooo :) do w that what you will :) 

sungchan ,. ! - trust on me this, he’d be the one who’s always “busy” except in his case he probably fr is bc my guy is just into That Many extra curriculars - you call him up like hey where are you we’re supposed to meet at *insert name* coffee shop rn?? and he’d answer w all seriousness that his “rap music club members have a mandatory team exercise for which they’ve gone fishing and after he needs to prepare an ad for the video game club because he kinda insulted the ad making team and now they’re all on strike . oh and he has football coaching (as in he needs to coach like a bunch of tiny kindergarteners as a favor to some aunt) right in between!” - he’ll send all his work at like 4am tho dw ^^ sleep is for the weak.

wonbin ,. ! -perfectionist!!! he would be The aesthetic stationery + supplies guy with like pouches and pouches of pretty washi tapes, metallic coloured calligraphy pens, stickers and much more - would definitely call out people if their handwriting was bad.. - also he would totally use the project as an excuse to get to know whoever he’s interested in~ might offer to split the work into like duos and immediately choose you as his partner~ - prepare yourself for a lot of really obvious and goofy flirting..
