my single criticism of totk is that it is far too easy to accidentally construct a house in the house builder, the triangle rooms in particular are pure evil
#totk spoilers#but only about the house builder in akkala and nothing else#i put two triangular sections together and instead of the diamond shape i expected i got a trapezoid from hell#toured it after building and said 'oh god i've walked into the distortion' out loud and meant it with my whole ass

yearning for the distortion world from platinum...
#it was one of the first things that ever enticed me to admit that my brother had something cooler and better than what i had#he got platinum a few years after i got diamond so we were maybe 9 and 5 (10 and 6?)#and as older siblings know. at that age you'd rather die than admit your younger sibling can do or have anything cool#but the distortion world was SO COOL and SO ENTICING that i humbled myself and often asked for a turn on his ds so i could run around#and explore the distortion world. good times!#getting back on my 'bdsp sucked' soapbox. why couldn't they have given them the oras treatment and brought the platinum story forward...
