Another curious SEGA Disney item. An Acrylic stand with well... a mighty fine image of Frollo there. There are ones with other Disney villains too.

Jafar has to be by far the least competent Disney villain. This guy has spent his entire life studying genies while looking for one and as soon as he gets his hand on the lamp, he fumbles all three wishes. Jafar asks for three redundant wishes, doesn't listen to any of the wish-granting rules, and ends up sealing himself up in the lamp. Anyone who's spent more than 5 minutes on the subject has at least attempted to narrow down the perfect three wishes and how to phrase them so they can't be monkeys-pawed.

If all he really wanted was to rule Agrabah, he was the closest advisor to the Sultan (who he had literally mind controlled), had the loyalty of the guards, and the only person who could stand in his way was a teenage princess who was trying to leave the palace and probably the country. Aladdin would be just another tragic poverty statistic, the genie would be imprisoned for a few more millennia, the Sultan would be easily overthrown and framed for any previous societal grievances, and Jafar would be welcomed as the new competent ruler.

Shan Yu (Work in Progress for a comic)

Looks like I am drawing my first Disney villain from me and my mom’s favorite movie, Mulan (1998, not 2020) : Shan Yu. It’s mostly for a short comic I am working on called “No Pets Allowed” with said villain as the special guest.

OOAK Dr Facillier... well sorta, more of a re-body of that Resin hybrid doll-figure that came out several years ago, while a fantastic figure a few things I disliked about it, 1) it was very tall - larger than the rest of my doll collection, 2) limited articulation and being resin, very fragile- yes the head is still the resisn original, but it's incredibly well sculpted. It's also pretty heavy, so to attach it to the new body (a monster-high doll ) it had to be secured with a wire armature inside and glued and epoxy putty, so the head articulation is the only thing I had to sacrifice.

Another thing was the hands; the original hands were removed and now fitted with larger ones- I just had to use my mini drill to enlarge the holes for the connector pegs on the new hands to fit. The clothes I re-used- just trimmed to size and made the shoes out of milliput by covering the plastic boots shoes of the monster high doll which it came with. The original shoes from the Dr. Facilier doll were now too big and I don't think I could attach them anyway. The staff I made from a sawed-off paintbrush with a hole drilled in the top to insert the ball on top (a plastic berry from a Xmas wreath- as it had a stalk.

Finally, for his display case, I cut out some of his shadow friends from the other side out of black foam and stuck them to it.

Hey everyone! Me again, and I've got some juicy new art (well, actually old fan art made in 2021) to show you y'all! I call it Disney Chills Rescue, which is about each character from each Disney Junior show going out on DCR (Disney Chills Rescue) missions to save the main protagonists of Vera Strange's Disney Chills book series from the evil clutches of the Disney villains.

But in doing so, they will have to face the challenges the villains throw at them by not just using their powers but also their smarts and skills to rescue that child. Along the way, they'll meet the other characters of each Disney Chills book who'll help them with the challenges in order to save their friends and free the DC (Disney Chills) kids from the deals they've made with the Disney villains.

And the best part is that this fan book series of mine has happy endings where the kids are freed and the villains get defeated.

I'll be working on new Disney Chills Rescue book covers, like Rose Above It All featuring Motsuki the moth girl from PJ Masks, very soon. But until then...
