My 2012 Sorcerer Hunters collection post got a note so I have taken re-stock over a decade later.
I need the hat. A few more mini disks. More vhs because that's been the bottom of the priority list for obvious reasons. A few more dream figures if they ever show up. And some of the manga in case there's more content that never made it to the tanks like with that one issue. Maybe some mags? Probably a couple other posters- most of the posters not seen here. Other cells if they ever become avilable. That like dozen ova settei i'm missing.
Yeah hat and i guess a few mini disks.
Thanks Discotek for the sd bluray

yeah, people can’t delete their accounts however there’s ways to have the app even if the bill gets passed. In my friends country (India) TikTok is banned, but she found a way to download it on her phone. We will see a huge increase in piracy the more the government does shit like this. If we can’t be more private, we’ll just pirate.
Same as when Texas banned porn and then there was an increase in piracy and people buying porn mags and disks. Not to mention how people are getting more and more fed up with streaming services and also how video game companies don’t want people to own the games that they PAY FOR and how vinyls, DVDs, and CDs are becoming more popular within the music industry. And with all of these “at home activities” (video games, watching TV, etc) becoming more expensive and going to fast food places, even though expensive, is becoming cheaper than buying healthy groceries, people are starting to yearn for 3rd spaces again. The mall where I work has seen an uptick in the amount of people coming, lots of kids and teens. Feels like a blast to the past.
Imagine that this brings a revival of places like Blockbuster lol.
It’s always morally correct to pirate

YOOOOO did anyone ever get this tape back in the late 90s?
Tumblr media
In the late 90s the only place you could see game footage that wasn't a commercial or game kiosk was demo disks
In the early 2000s there would be websites that could host the trailers for games, but they would take like 20 minutes to load and be low res as hell
You wanted the humble demo disk:
Tumblr media
pop that shit into your ps1 and enjoy game trailers and playable demos!
almost every month you could probably get up to 3 or four of these just by buying gaming mags
And obvioulsy if you needed info on how to play a game, you could get it from those magazines or by buying a big fat strategy guide
Tumblr media
But this fucking tape? This had full-ish playthroughs of games, it was a strategy guide you could fucking watch. This a HUGE deal back then
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so it doesn't seem to say it anywhere on the box, but I clearly remember it saying somewhere that this was meant to the first of a series of these video guides, and I remember seeing them for sale in just about every video game store I walked into
obviously that didn't happen, sales were probably low af
BUT GUESS WHAT:
youtube
heres that whole fucking video for you to enjoy, in all its edgy cynical late 90s goodness!

Some people will qualify August as a supermoon, others won't. Either way, September is going to be fun.
Tumblr media
September 3: New Moon
The New Moon will occur on September 3, at 01:55 GMT (September 2, 9:55 p.m. EDT). At this point, our natural satellite will stay between the Earth and the Sun, so its bright side will be facing away from the Earth. It’s the best time for stargazing because the Moon’s light won’t hinder the view.
September 5: Mercury at greatest elongation west
On September 5, at 01:59 GMT (September 4, 9:59 p.m. EDT), Mercury (mag -0.4) will appear at its farthest apparent distance west from the Sun: the celestial bodies will be separated by 18°6'. The event is called the greatest elongation. It’s the best time to observe Mercury, so don’t miss the chance!
September 8: Saturn at opposition
On September 8, at 04:35 GMT (00:35 a.m. EDT), Saturn will reach opposition and shine at its brightest with a magnitude of 0.6. The ringed planet will be located in the constellation Aquarius, looking like a yellowish dot to the naked eye. You’ll see Saturn’s oval shape with a pair of binoculars, but you’ll need a small telescope to see its rings.
September 17: Moon near Saturn; lunar occultation of Saturn
Conjunction time: 10:14 GMT (6:14 a.m. EDT)
Conjunction distance: 0°18'
Close approach time: 10:11 GMT (6:11 a.m. EDT)
Close approach distance: 0°16'
On September 17, the 96.9%-illuminated Moon will be close to Saturn (mag 0.6). Both objects will be in the constellation Aquarius. Observe them with the naked eye or through a pair of binoculars. Observers from the western Contiguous United States, Australia, western Canada, and north-western Mexico will also see the lunar occultation of Saturn.
September 18: Full Moon, Supermoon, partial lunar eclipse
The Full Harvest Moon will occur on September 18, at 02:34 GMT (September 17, 10:34 p.m. EDT). Our natural satellite will be in the constellation Pisces. Technically, the Full Moon lasts only for a moment when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun, but the lunar disk will appear full for one day before and after it.
This Full Moon will be a Supermoon. It will appear 7.8% bigger and 15.6% brighter than the average Full Moon.
Also, on the same day, between 02:12 GMT and 03:15 GMT, the Moon will pass through the Earth’s umbral shadow, creating a partial lunar eclipse. The Moon will be 3.5% in this shadow. The partial lunar eclipse will be visible from Europe, much of Asia, Africa, North America, South America, the Arctic, and Antarctica.
September 21: Neptune at opposition
On September 21, at 00:17 GMT (September 20, 8:17 p.m. EDT), Neptune will reach opposition and shine at its brightest with a magnitude of 7.8. The planet will be in the constellation Pisces. Even at its brightest, Neptune can only be seen with an optical aid, such as binoculars or a telescope.
September 22: September equinox
The September equinox marks the beginning of fall in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of spring in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2024, the equinox will occur on September 22, at 12:44 GMT (8:44 a.m. EDT). We prepared a fun and educational quiz about equinoxes and solstices for you. Check if you can tell the difference between these two astronomical events!
Tumblr media
September 23: Moon near Jupiter
Close approach time: 22:39 GMT (6:39 p.m. EDT)
Close approach distance: 5°49'
On September 23, the 69.8%-illuminated Moon will be close to Jupiter (mag -2.4). Both objects will be in the constellation Taurus. Observe them with the naked eye.
September 25: Moon near Mars
Close approach time: 12:40 GMT (8:40 a.m. EDT)
Close approach distance: 4°52'
On September 25, the 47.6%-illuminated Moon will be close to Mars (mag 0.5). Both objects will be in the constellation Taurus. Observe them with the naked eye or through a pair of binoculars.
Astronomical events in October 2024
October 2: Annular solar eclipse
On October 2, from 15:44 to 21:46 GMT, observers from Argentina and Chile will see the annular solar eclipse. The Moon will cover the Sun's center, and the observers will see “the ring of fire” around it.
October 2: New Moon
The New Moon will occur on October 2, at 18:49 GMT (2:49 p.m. EDT). At this point, our natural satellite will stay between the Earth and the Sun, so its bright side will be facing away from the Earth. It’s the best time for stargazing because the Moon’s light won’t hinder the view

22 for ask game!
Hello Hello Cosmic!
22. Your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores
Oh where do I even begin. To break this down, I will make points and explain why I like it and feel like it's overlooked. (Oh it's Inscryption related obviously/lh)
-The Photographer is P03's favorite Uberbot. It's never brought up directly in the game, but have you ever noticed how P03 doesn't compliment any of the other Uberbots besides the Photographer? He calls the Photographer cool. Meanwhile with the others he either insults them or doesn't really say anything about them at all. Implies that he dislikes the Archivist because she and her librarians messy and disorganized, says "That's quite enough of that" sometimes when defeating the Unfinished Boss, and literally all of the dialoge before and after the G0lly fight. That bot is picking favorites.
Small little bit and personal interpretation of the reasoning is that P03 still. has. feelings. for. Leshy. Despite everything that happened between them, from the divorce and Act 1, P03 still loves Leshy in a bittersweet sense of being able to reminisce happy memories together but also the painful knowledge that it'll never happen again. Just some food for thought.
-Royal makes fun of his cause of death. In the game, Royal has multiple lines where he makes fun of his cause of death, scurvy. A quick excerpt from the Inscryption wiki has a bit of dialoge from Royal backing this up, reading, "Yar, life didn't give me lemons... So I died.". It's actually quite endearing and funny. But have I ever seen anyone talk about it? NOPE. Talk about Royal more please or I'll do it myself, this is a threat <3/lh
-Magnificus out right in the ending of Inscryption is like, 'My goo mage is already gone, how do you feel about that Luke? Just eject the fucking disk.' Which is guilt trip 101. This is the same guy who painted off Goobert in his own painting as a gift to Magnificus, but why he says that at the end is interesting. Perhaps he knew that Luke, and by extension us, are attached to Goobert and therefore would feel bad and turn off the game to save whatever is left. This could be read as Magnificus being more of a douche than he already is, but I think it's a bit more complicated than that.
I think this is a part of him not being able to accept death and therefore isn't ready to accept his fate. We all know that he can see the future and how his fate is already sealed, but living with it? Bearing the knowledge that he's going to die and there's nothing he or Luke can do but let it happen? Mags ain't ready to die. He even says so himself as the world disappears around him. But he ultimately disappears just like his Goo mage.
Yeah you can probably tell I think about this a lot-/lh

MAG 65 - Part 3 of the apple pie baking session
Lol, Tessa info-dumping and Jon is totally overwhelmed.
"Magnetic tape. Everyone thinks it’s analog, but it’s digital." - I mean, not all magnetic tapes are digital. Digital tapes came up in the 80s, but before then they were analog. Especially the kind of tape we usually associate with TMA, the "Compact Cassette", is analog. Look it up on Google pictures! And then compare it to it's digital successor, the "Digital Compact Cassette". Looks different. Mini- or microcassettes used for dictation are also analog (I think, there are digital minicasettes?). And yes, it's STILL in use for that. We use analog minicassettes and I have a tape recorder standing around, catching dust, on my desk at work in case the system's getting a service update and is not accessible for a longer period of time.
"the units of data that a computer works with are by their nature discrete and definite, while the words we use are clumsy, vague things, always at the whim of interpretation and decay." - unless you're working with a printer… They are also clumsy vague things XD
"I have a blog, actually, but I haven’t posted for almost a year. Almost too embarrassed to, now…" - info-dumping and oversharing! Jon is in for a ride…
Holy shit, she's constantly talking over Jon, it's so funny xD
"I mean, yes, there’s drug stuff on there, but it’s mostly just paranoid geeks who don’t want to be caught pirating Photoshop." - Deep Web's a bit overkill for that mumbling. If this was written in 2019 it would be "it's mostly Youtubers buying overpriced trash advertised as 'Deep Web Mystery Boxes' or faking them themselves and needing an excuse to give them a spooky backstory" xDD
I love how this is just a creepy pasta!
"Whatever version you’re told, the story goes that it actually worked, and the police found a pile of floppy disks full of impossible code next to the mutilated body of Sergey Ushanka." - Remember when floppy disks could destroy/save the world?? XD (insert Sailor Moon, Gargoyles, Street Sharks, Ninja Turtles pictures here)
"it was only for a moment, but I could have sworn I saw some of the symbols twitch?" - oh speaking of oversharing earlier - so when I'm not doing good mentally or also when I'm simply sleep-deprived I see all kinds of movement and shadows out of the corner of my eye. When I drew my fanart for "Statement Remains" in October (the dark shape of an Eldritch monster Jon with 7 green-glowing eyes in front of a tape recorder…) I saw all 7 eyes blink. I know it's just that quirk of seeing shadows/movement but it was sooo eerie and fitting.
"there’s no feeling, but the no feeling hurts" - Makes me think of the people in the Catalogue of the Trapped Dead. I don't know if they weren't able of feeling things, but they were basically just a memory (which could be seen as similar to Ushanka uploading himself) and that this existence hurt.
Jon's interaction with statement-givers back in S1 versus now in S2 is also very binary xD ("You are crazy and just imagined everything and I don't believe you" versus "I understand you have experienced something horrible and I believe you")
Tim and Jon arguing is so hurtful to hear. It was different in the intervention but now it's really personal. There is not just anger in Tim's voice I think, there is also hurt. And Jon is just so paranoid and he's right to be paranoid, he just doesn't know why and where it's coming from.
TIM "we didn’t kill Gertrude" - not including Elias, true. (cont.) "and no one wants to kill you" - not true…
TIM "No, no, you listen for once. I was fine in research. Happy. Then you asked me to be transferred here, and suddenly it’s all monsters and killers and secret passages, oh my!" - That's not Jon's fault though? I'm pretty sure, Tim could have said no to the transfer and the stuff going on with the Archives is even less Jon's fault.
TIM "like I didn’t suffer the worst right alongside you." - I really think, this is it. This is not about the actual act of stalking, it's about the betrayal of why Jon did it. Tim was there with Jon, probably also for Jon. And then he suspects him of murder and of his own betrayal against Jon.
JON "Well, excuse me if my experiences have made–" - Well, while in conflict solution and prevention it is advised to talk about yourself and how you have experiences things rather than accusing others, it is not a good idea to shuffle the conversation to yourself while the other one is pouring their heart out about their difficulties in such an angered manner. I know, a lot of people do this to show the other party that you can relate (I do this myself) and in that case it often works out, but I don't think that's what Jon's aiming for here and it seems rather dismissive of Tim's problems. It looks like both are fighting over who is the most miserable here and no one ever wins that fight. There's only losers if you make misery a competition.
TIM "Fuck you, I got eaten by worms because of you!" - And there we have it. It escalates and heavy blame get thrown around. And it's, again, not Jon's fault. How could any of them be at fault that Prentiss attacked the Archives and Elias wanted them to get hurt.
JON "Jane Prentiss was not my fault, I did not bring her to the archive–" - Tim started unfair blame, not Jon has to defend himself and getting defensive is not helping the situation.
I think Jon already suspected that they were bound to the Archives? It sounds like he already thought about offering Tim to transfer but somehow couldn't do it. Now he tests it, if Tim can leave by his own free will.
JON "I’m sorry, Tim. Truly I am. But I cannot and will not trust you." - It's hurtful, for both of them, Tim and even Jon himself. But given the situation Jon's in I think it's kind of fair. He is influenced by a Stranger's presence. He knows something is wrong, he knows the Archives are not normal. TMA is a lot about making decisions based on the knowledge you had at hand at that time and at that particular time I think it was actually best for Jon to stay wary and watch his back.
Tessa is a queen of oversharing, and I am sad for Jon.

I love Rodimus and you've now given me AU IDW Rodimus concept that I've been gnawing over all night.
To start with, Rodimus is not doing good at all but is clinging to the fact that he, at least, didn't destroy one of his last friendships and sacrifice Drift. That's important. He makes Drift and Ultra Magnus co-captains, orders Magnus not to persecute Brainstorm and Chromedome since they were acting under his and Prowl's orders and they'd lost enough, and has a tearful goodbye privately with Drift before he is sent off.
The actual departure in the docking bay is closed off to High Command only with Ratchet declining to show. Rodimus is certain he hates him as he hasn't looked at him since the reveal. Drift, though, hugs him, and Ultra Magnus awkwardly hesitates before speaking, giving him a "gift" and looking nervous about it before Rodimus is officially exiled. Drift gives Ultra Magnus a considering look at that and the way he shakes Rodimus's hand and says very softly but stiffly, "Farewell Captain." Which makes Rodimus tear up a bit, but he keeps it in.
Rodimus gives himself a good cry once he's actually in the shuttle and watching the LL drift away. It takes him awhile to open Ultra Magnus's gift. Inside is a copy of the Autobot Code, which makes him laugh a little, a personal note from Ultra Magnus, and a strange round disk thing that has no button or access point it has a small light that is off in the center and round circles of copper silver and gold.
Ultra Magnus's note says his disappointed (no surprise but still ouch) but believes in Rodimus and did consider him a friend (that is actually nice to hear) and thinks he needs guidance to find himself (Rodimus laughs at that because he's been lost since Nyon) and finally a strangely ominous message about Ultra Magnus's own mentor (interesting given how little Magnus talks about personal things) and how much he believes Rodimus would benefit from his guidance.
Finally he signs the note and Rodimus sees it originally said "Second in Command of the Lost Light" and then "Captain" and "Co-captain" before they were all crossed out and then it was written "Your Friend".
He still signed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accords though.
It makes Rodimus sniffly again because it feels like a better good bye than he deserves and he folds it up and keeps it in his subspace. Finally he goes to sleep setting the ship on autopilot for the nearest Cybertronian friendly settlement, hand resting over where his Autobrand was.
While he rests the disk that he'd used some wiring and a twine to turn into a necklace of sorts starts beeping and then a ship silently appears nearby and starts to pull Rodimus in. He wakes up suddenly and violently to Star Saber hovering over him and injecting something in him that makes him drift off.
Sdgfss thank i make a lot if rapid fire ideas like tgis sometimes
Yeppp yep! Arguably, several mecha would suggest this would've been the correct choice of action (we know Optimus did, there was the vote...), and this feels so sad considering the planning he put into this departure
oh roddie i don't think ratty hates you, ohh.
Oh no Mags oh no the foreshadowing™️™️
Oh fuck Star Saber
