Went looking into that Sonic ‘Look and Find’ book, and check out what I found! I’ve long headcanonned that Snively gets his... distinct... appearance from his maternal grandfather, and from the looks of this it seems I wasn’t that far off XD

Happy Birthday, Bob Clampett! Bob’s one of my favorite Cartoonists so I made this in honor of his Bday. Beany and Cecil The Seasick Sea Serpent was my favorite show as a kid so finding out many years later that Bob also Directed some of my favorite Looney Tunes made me love his Cartoons all the more!

They just don't make cartoon bad guys like they used to. You can't even call them villains because they are simply just bad guys. Ill tempered and nefarious men with nothing to do on the daily agenda except kidnap helpless damsels, scheme, plot the destruction of anthropomorphic moose/squirrels, attempt to achieve victory through deceit, etc etc, with the exception of Natasha here whose moral fiber we're assuming is not above any of the other schmucks on the page.

It's also strange when you realize that all of these bad guys are most likely related or at least part of the same Elk's Lodge or something, looking at the apparel and facial hair. I suppose before the mustache was a symbol of power and porn, it was associated more with sleaze and slime, a tried and true interpretation given the right individual to this day.

Still, I do miss this portrayal of a villain, and it should come back in some form. Or maybe I'll just watch an episode of Wacky Races and be done with it.
