ā‹†š™šā‚ŠĖšāŠ¹ā™” lyla and xina fashion moodboards
disclaimer : most of these are headcanons on what i think they would wear ! if i made it inaccurate (especially xinaā€™s) i apologise. i havenā€™t completed the 90ā€™s run but i did do some research on her style !
Tumblr media
starting off with lyla! for lyla, most of the items that i have picked are pink because i think that is her favourite color. lyla is such a fun and quirky character so i feel that she loves clothes with cute patterns on them, like the cat fur coat by lirika matoshi. she would definitely love anything from lirika matoshi because of her unique and colorful designs. as we all know, she wears a pink heart shaped glasses which makes me think that's her favourite shape ā€” as to why i put the heart bag by coberni, the heart earrings, the boots with heart shaped soles (like come on, she would adore those) and the red heart suit though i believe she would like it more if it was in pink or white.
she also adores tights and socks that have bows and laces. i feel like she's the type to experiment with her style, so she would try out wearing those colorful tights with unique patterns. as for jewellery i think she would love wearing pearls, like the iconic pearl necklace from vivienne westwood.
for makeup, glitter eyeshadows are a must! most of her makeup looks are soft and delicate. chunky nail acrylics are her thing too!
Tumblr media
now we move to xina kwan , living in the year 2099 and is obsessed with the twencen aesthetic. her style are mostly retro , so i think she would rock the denim dress as it was popular back in the 60ā€™s / 70ā€™s. there are a few outfits that are inspired by the comics here , which is the blue top and the red/blue cropped jacket that reminds me so much of the varsity jacket that xina wore in the picture above. xina mostly wears yellow , green and blue ā€” hence why i added the green sunglasses and the yellow top which is similar to the outfit she wore when miguel gave her the gumball machine. i also added a new york giants cap as she is a fan of them from my research.
i think she would own a messenger bag because of itā€™s practicality (many pockets , can put her techs inside) and a retro headphone so she could listen to marilyn monroe :)
as for makeup she probably likes it simple , mascara and smudged eyeliner that somehow looks good and stylish. red lips are a must.
thatā€™s all ! again i apologise if there are any inaccuracies ā˜ŗļø

ā€œEternity is a long time, my dear. I say we bide our time, and wait for the chance to gain the upper hand~ā€
Tumblr media
ā… This is an indie, semi-selective, roleplay page for the ice-cold bitch with an intellect as sharp as his beak, Andrealphus~ ā…
About the writer.
Chessi. She/They. 26. Libra.
Disclaimer.
Not a lot is known about Andealphus outside of his cunning mind, skills as a manipulator and undisputed status as a gay icon: with this in mind, on this page I will explore my own headcanons regarding his backstory and personal life. Which I suspect will lean him towards being, in the wise words of Brandon Rogers, not just a bitch but a bitch with a backstory~ I enjoy antagonistic characters that are both awful people and a product of their upbringing and circumstance. Mostly because it leaves more room for complexity and vulnerability.
If you enjoy sharp-witted antagonists with impeccable fashion sense and no time for idiots then stick around. If you fancy putting a rich, narcissistic, Goetia asshole in their place then, please, stick around. If you want a crack at melting the ice-cold exterior of a man who purports to feel for no one then, by all means, stick around. If youā€™re interested in exploring themes of classism, the weight of perfection and treacherous backstabbing then stick around~
A little about this page.
ā… This account is run by a fully-fledged adult who is 25+ and will include content that explores dark themes, sexual content and foul language. Do NOT interact with this page if you are a minor.
ā… I tend to write 3-4 descriptive paragraph responses in my rp. Shorter or longer is totally fine, donā€™t feel the need to match me (Iā€™m a big olā€™ waffler) ā€” all I ask is that responses are long enough to give me something to work with.
ā… I do not currently practice mains or exclusives. I am happy to roleplay with duplicates, although, obviously my relationship with each portrayal will be different based on previous threads/events.
ā… I am chronically multiship. For me, itā€™s all about the chemistry between our muses.
ā… In spite of my stellar ability to ā€˜wax poeticā€™ about the most mundane of things, I am dyslexic. The reason I bring this up is just in case any errant spelling or grammar mistakes slip into my responses. I apologise, let me know and Iā€™m always happy to edit (or just ignore them and win my lifelong affection.)
ā… Plot-wise, I am always happy to explore silly cross-overs and divergence from canon. I LOVE both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and will welcome, with open arms, any new friendships and roleplay partners. Likewise, OCā€™s are welcome on this page.
ā… Please know that there is never any pressure to reply to a post of mine in any timeframe! All I ask is that no pressure is applied on me either. If I could, I would spend all my time on here writing with all of you talented people, however, life has a habit of getting in the way.
ā… As you can see below, I have amassed a hefty collection of pages. If you lose inspiration/motivation for a post we are writing then itā€™s 100% fine, in fact I positively implore you, to let me know. We can start a new thread. We can explore a different one of my muses. Just let me know!
ā… Iā€™m perhaps to least intimidating person ever (like, the kind of person who would accidentally apologise to a door if I walked into it) so please, feel comfortable to come and chat~

in defense of Allura
Disclaimer: I do not accept any kind of hatred under this post. I expect all readers to act politely toward those who donā€™t share their opinion, and I expect you to expose your own ideas respectfully. Toxicity is forbidden on my blog. I don't hate any character, and this is just an analysis. Anything that stimulates a mature debate is welcomed, as long as you do it politely. Thank you!
The time has come. Long enough Iā€™ve dwelled upon the choices that the writers of VLD have made, especially in the last seasons: in this post, Iā€™ll focus on the decisions concerning Princess Allura.Ā
We were introduced to Allura in the pilot of the show, and it only took a few minutes- should I say doboshes?- to understand her overall personality. The Princess stumbled out of the pod, disoriented and confused, and only an instant later- the time necessary to snap out of her groggy state- she defended herself against a possible threat, being Lance in this case: she physically overwhelmed him with only a few rapid moves, her grip on him steady. Everything about her body language and verbal language screamed ā€œstrengthā€, in the following scenes as well. As she remembered about her fatherā€™s death, and about her homeplanet Altea being destroyed, the initial shock faded rather rapidly, and in a few instant she recovered from it. This doesnā€™t mean that if she hadnā€™t done it she would have been weak, not at all; it means that Allura, being a leader, knew how to put her feelings aside for a better situation, in order to better focus on the mission at hand.
Itā€™s immediately clear to us that she wasnā€™t minimally interested in Lanceā€™s advances: she considered him as a teammate, and later as a dear friend, but nothing more than that wasĀ  shown in the first seasons. When Lance got badly injured, she didnā€™t seem too worried- though she immediately jumped into action to secure the perimeter. A couple of episodes later, when Lance exited from the healing pod, she spoke to the teen kindly, relieved that he was alright. Yet, this is not a sign of being in love: all of us would be happy if a friend of ours who was at risk was said to be finally out of the woods.Ā
Allura was very practical, focused on her mission: she wanted to save the universe at all cost. At the beginning, her continuous arguments with the paladins may have given the impression that she was annoying and too strict, but she was simply driven by passion and desire to prove to everyone, herself included, that she could do the right thing for the universe. Though she never made it explicit, it was obvious that Allura cared about the opinion that the others had about her (even when she simply insisted on thanking the Arusians) because she tried to overcome her own insecurities by making herself as useful as possible to the cause. Even when she ā€œjustā€ flew the Castleship, she always offered her support and ideas to improve training, strategies and team bonding.Ā
Throughout the seasons, we learnt that Allura had the tendency to blame herself, like when she thought that the Galra were tracking the team through her, for example. Allura also threw herself into battle if it meant saving the others, like when she pushed Shiro out of the way and ended up prisoner, or when she saved the Balmera and risked her own health, pushing herself too far to do the right thing and help the innocents that she couldnā€™t protect during the 10ā€™000 years of absence. So, according to the evidence we had collected in the first seasons, Allura was selfless and caring, despite everything.Ā
And then, just when we thought weā€™d seen it all, Allura became the paladin of the Blue Lion of Voltron (Iā€™ll talk about this event in Lanceā€™s p.o.v. in a different post, donā€™t worry). She was uncertain at first, but ready to dive head-first into the battle, willing to learn and improve her skills. Being an Altean, she immediately connected with Blue, and everything seemed rather easy; though at the beginning her piloting skills werenā€™t the best, she learnt in the matter of a single episode, and if you donā€™t consider it quick learning, then I donā€™t know what it was. Added to that, Allura was also talented, ā€œprogressing a lot faster than any of [the other paladins]ā€, as Lance said some time later.
When Keith confessed his Galra lineage, her attitude towards him was childish, but it was how someone would have normally reacted in a similar situation. People often have a hard time accepting someone that is unwillingly part of a group whose members caused them any harm; itā€™s one of the principles of racism, and thatā€™s a synonym of ignorance as well. Human minds work like that, because we all tend to associate trauma with a certain group of people, or day, or any other input: itā€™s despicable, and sadly most people think like that. Luckily for all the Allura stans (me included, though I stan all the main characters of this show) she overcame this issue quickly. What I like about it was that she didnā€™t brush it off, but she apologised to Keith in person, evidently mortified for her behaviour, and after that she moved past it, accepting her friend and overcoming their differences happily. Mature people apologise, while childish ones pretend that their mistakes didnā€™t happen: by making amends for her mistake, Allura showed us just how mature she is for a 18/22 year-old (we do not have an official age, so my guess is as good as yours).Ā
Things seemed to be going well for her: she learnt how to better manipulate quintessence, she gave Keith space when he needed to find Shiro after his mysterious disappearance, she learnt how to better pilot her Lion and so on and so forth. It was all going well, until Lotorā€™s arrival: then, it all started to go downhill.
Lance became inexplicably obsessed with her again, and at the same time, Lotor slowlyĀ  manipulated Allura. Now, I donā€™t personally like Lotor since he willingly commits genocide for his own purposes, but I will not dwell further on the topic for itā€™s not my main discourse now.
Lotor tricked the Princess into believing him, she played into his hands, blinded by love. Mind that when I wrote ā€œloveā€, my left eyebrow rose impossibly high. In fact, Allura had never shown to be interested in love; surely enough, she was romantically (and sexually, apparently) interested in people as we have witnessed, so the possibility of a love interest wasnā€™t odd at all. It was just sudden. Too sudden, for my personal opinion.Ā
The problem I have with Lotura (Lotor x Allura, and I specify because I had to google the ship name) is that itā€™s based on nothing. The team was wholly against Lotor, except for Shiro who was not himself, quite literally. Allura never gave any impression of trusting people easily: not only when Keith said that he was half Galra, but also when Shiro begged her to trust Ulaz. She was hesitant and not happy about having someone she didnā€™t trust on board. Thus, her sudden burst of trust toward Lotor was odd, especially when it was quite obvious to most of the audience that the Galra prince was not telling the whole truth. I also wish that we got to see more interactions between Pidge and Allura and Hunk and Allura in s6 and beyond, since they rarely talked anymore despite being on the same team. Even Alluraā€™s interactions with Coran were so diminished in number that they looked like complete strangers in the second half of the series, and it hurt.Ā
I mark this point as the start of Alluraā€™s downfall: from iconic character to mere love interest, which is not wrong at all per se, but it is when any other trait and development is purposefully ignored and forgotten by the writers ā€œfor the sake of the storyā€.
Thankfully, Allura seemed to recover quickly after Lotorā€™s betrayal (the scene when she flips him like a coin? Priceless), declaring all of her hatred towards the cruelties heā€™d committed and how he let her down irreparably. One good thing that Lotor did- and I have to admit that it was good-Ā  was that he made Allura discover new abilities and become stronger, powers-wise speaking. Yet, all of this was secondary to her being a love interest with no other apparent purpose. Why do I say this? Because as soon as she got rid of Lotor, she got together with Lance, and to be honest itā€™s not quite clear to me how or why.Ā
I canā€™t deny that when I watched s1, I was an Allurance shipper; I was sixteen, a hopeless goofball who believed in all the clichĆ©s. Now, however, I do realize that Lanceā€™s advances were annoying and obnoxious (and heā€™s my absolute favourite character, so this shows you just how honest Iā€™m being, hopefully), and that Iā€™m so grateful that Allura didnā€™t give in. At least, she didnā€™t do it at the beginning. In the last season, however, she fell in love with Lance in a single episode: when he asked her out, she seemed hesitant and only accepted because Romelle pushed her to give it a try. The dinner sequence was where Allura understood that Lance wasnā€™t the womanizer she thought he was, but I donā€™t believe that in reality that would have changed anything. You donā€™t simply fall in love in one evening only because your dateā€™s family tells you that this person isnā€™t what they seem; in fact, that would worry me even more, personally, because it would mean that my date is a total stranger.
Lanceā€™s ā€œI love youā€ was not completely uncalled for, but simply very confusing: he seemed to be over her, but he became jealous when Lotor showed up. I tried so hard to see this as a ā€œprotective brother/friendā€ dynamic, but that sentence leaves no space for speculation (again, Iā€™ll talk about Lance another time). What shocked me was Allura reactionā€™s to Lanceā€™s confession.
Sheā€™d never looked at him with any kind of romantic interest, and even if some scenes may be seen as such (when she resuscitates him. And proceeds to hide it from the team. Yeah, another huge disastrous plotline), itā€™s undeniable that the Princess had trust-issues, and for a good reason too. That one time that she went against her teamā€™s choice and trusted Lotor a bit too much, she got used and heartbroken. So why was she suddenly so in love with a boy that sheā€™d always treated as nothing more than a good friend? My answer is: bad writing.
If Allura had shown any romantic interest in Lance for at least three consecutive seasons out of eight- to create a deeper connection- I would have taken it without complaining much. If Lotor hadnā€™t committed genocide and didnā€™t proceed to use Allura, I would have accepted Lotura too (friendly reminder that I donā€™t do ship hate unless ships involve rape, pedophilia and incest. So Iā€™m not hating on Allurance and Lotura, though Lotor is a villain and I donā€™t like him, but thatā€™s just my opinion). If Allura was allowed to be both strong and romantically interested in anyone, I would have taken it. But especially in s8, the writers erased her personality, turning a bright and iconic character into dating material. It wasn't fair to her nor to Lance, honestly.
The last straw was her sacrifice: Allura died to save the universe and since it was her main goal, Iā€™m okay with it, though it hurt as sheā€™s my second favourite character. What I didnā€™t like about it was that the villains got a happier ending than she did. Lotor, who committed genocide, got to live happily ever after with his parents, a violent conqueror and an abusive hag who ripped the universe apart to be with her son (I get it, mothers love their kids, but this is far too extreme). And furthermore, Lotor didnā€™t even like his parents, but still for some reason he was happy to be with them again, maybe because at least he got to spend eternity with someone that loves him despite everything.Ā
Allura, however, died without saying goodbye to Coran, the man who stayed by her side for all their- but also ours- adventures, the one who believed in her the most and who did everything to protect her. She died without getting a last look at the universe she left behind, at the people who werenā€™t there in her final moments but that cared for her and vice versa (Shay, Romelle, even Krolia. Even the mice, Kalternecker and Cosmo, really). Each character had about a half a minute to say their goodbyes, except for Lance, whose goodbye was the longest but also the least impactful, in my opinion. The writers played too much with the dramatic idea of it and the result was sloppy- as much as I love dramatic scenes, this was purposeless.Ā
Alluraā€™s last act of kindness- as if saving the whole universe and every existing reality wasnā€™t enough- was gifting Lance with the Marks of the Chosen. Though, Iā€™m not sure how to interpret it. In a fic I recently wrote, I theorised that ā€œAllura gave you [Lance] these marks because she knew that you had greatness within, and they can actively remind you of it in your darkest moments [...]ā€. Of course, Iā€™m far from sure that this is the real reason. My question is, was there even a real reason, or did Allura give him the Marks for dramatic purposes? If so, Iā€™m glad that it wasnā€™t confirmed officially, because at least we get to make our own theories that surely are more satisfying than ā€œwe wanted fans to cry moreā€. Still, I see those marks as scars, and I will talk about it thoroughly in Lanceā€™s analysis.Ā
In conclusion, I donā€™t think that Allura was bad at all. I think that, in the end, she was simply badly written, which is entirely different.
s1-s5 Allura was a strong, compassionate, empowering, trustworthy, bright, lovable and fun character and for that, she deserved a better- much better- ending. Sheā€™ll always be in my heart, and I hope that future reboots will treat her right.Ā
I will always remember Allura dearly. As Coran said in the final episode, ā€œJust around this table I see so many lives touched by her actions. For some of us, she was a diplomat, a teacher, a leader, and a friend. But to those of us around this table, she will always be familyā€. Raising an imaginary glass, I just want to say... ā€œTo Alluraā€.

The POSSIBLE Real Reason why Anthony Left S*osh + Why Ian is Seemingly Out of Anthonyā€™s New Picture.
You guys have been waiting for this for a LONG time, so Iā€™m not going to waste another second getting into it! Get ready, yā€™all! Itā€™s theory time!
Tumblr media
DISCLAIMER:Ā
THIS IS NOT MEANT TO PROVE ANYTHING! This is just a series of speculations and theories that is not intended to be taken as a fact. Everything in this could be 100% wrong for all I know, so please take this info with a grain of salt and DO NOT spread it around as a fact. As always, youā€™re free to disagree and have conflicting opinions, but donā€™t be a dick! Please and thank you!
Also, this is very long. I would apologise, but Iā€™m WEEYYY tooĀ proud of this to apologise. xD Enjoy!
So, before we get started, Iā€™m going to mention what Anthony stated in his livestream Friday night. Someone asked a question about S*osh and Anthony didnā€™t really say much, but what he did say was very interesting nonetheless.
ā€œLater on, I may talk about other reasons why I left that I didnā€™t mention in my video, but thatā€™s all Iā€™m going to say about that now.ā€
Which is cold cut proof that he didnā€™t tell the full story in his DEPARTURE VIDEO. Even before that, however, we was able to see evidence that this was so. How? Well one example is atĀ 2:35 of his video, Anthony says:
ā€œI need to do be doing what makes me happiest to wake up each morning. Right now thatā€™s for me to do things on my own again with complete creative freedom.ā€
Which is fine. When he posted this, it made complete sense... but then only FOUR days later, he was in a INTERVIEW with the Instant podcast calledĀ ā€œHey Guysā€ and was asked at 29:47 what else he would like to do with all the new freedom he had. His response was:
ā€œItā€™s overwhelming in the best way ever. Of course Iā€™ll be doing my channel, two videos a week, then I fell in love with voice acting when I voiced a character in the Angry Birds movie so Iā€™d like to do more of that if I can. I also wanna try some traditional acting. Iā€™m writing a TV show pilot that Iā€™ve kind of put on the back burner for now while launching my new channel, but Iā€™m really excited about that.
Iā€™m paraphrasing him a little bit, but you can watch the video for the full quote.
Ummm... Didnā€™t he just say that he left so he could do things on his own with creative freedom not even five days ago? I mean, it was nothing major but it definitely raised a flag for me. If all he wanted was creative freedom and to do things on his own, then why was he willing to work for OTHER companies to voice act or produce his own TV show that I am MORE than sure are more creatively strangling than Smosh ever was. To me, it just didnā€™t add up. Not to mention that he would be working with a LARGE group of artists, writers, directors, set designers, etc. So that was the first thing that made me suspicious about what he was telling us. There are other reasons as well like him getting a cameraman and trying to establish a cast not even after a year he said he wanted to work alone, but Iā€™m not going to spend anymore time on this because I have a lot more to cover.
So, if creative freedom isnā€™t the whole story... then whatā€™s the rest of it? While there are no clear cut answers at this time, I do think I have a reason.
I donā€™t think that Anthony lied. I definitely believe that creative freedom was part of the reason, but itā€™s not the main reason. The main reason for Anthony leaving is because of the company and the higher ups.
Think about this for a moment. Anthony said that he kept staying with S*osh because he was hoping that eventually it would feel like the good old days with just him, Ian, and a camrea. Once he realised that it would never be that way again, I think he may have tried to change it back to that. Not exactly like how it used to be, but just a little bit of a change. It is also worth mentioning that according to THIS ARTICLE, Barry Blumberg who made Ian and Anthony into the icons they are today, left Defy only three months before Anthony announced his own departure. They company says that the two moves are unrelated, but are they really? Is it possible that Barry was willing to work with Anthonyā€™s desires but were all of a sudden pushed aside by the new Chief Content Officer? What if the new chief told Anthony that what he wanted was not best for the brand. It wasnā€™t in the best interest for S*osh, so his desires to get back to how things were was just pushed aside and muted with more cast members. This, my peeps, is what I believe pushed Anthony out of the company.
Need more proof? Look at Anthonyā€™s content. Most of his stuff could have been done with the S*osh brand and even I argue that some of the plot in his videos are straight from former S*osh plots. He could have easily done what heā€™s doing- and even the things that he wants to do like voice acting- couldā€™ve been done from within the company, but why didnā€™t he? Because the new chair didnā€™t approve of Anthonyā€™s ideas. If it wasnā€™t the new chair, then you can also argue that maybe the CEO didnā€™t want it to happen. According to THIS ARTICLE, Matt Diamond seems to be more concerned about the monetization of the content than the actual content itself. If the CEO saw Anthonyā€™s move towards the older days as a threat to the money his and Ianā€™s brand would bring him, then I believe he would have no problems with shutting down his ideas with more cast members or cheesy shows that doesnā€™t even belong on a sketch comedy channel. Also, in THIS VIDEO, Ian mentioned that he felt like Anthonyā€™s departure was coming and that it wasnā€™t that shocking when he told him which means that Ian knew that something was going on.
The other reason why I feel like itā€™s a higher up issue is because a month or so later, Lasercorn and Sohinki left S*osh Games. The company suddenly began losing members. Why? Because the company isnā€™t focused on the content, but on the money the content is making. I could be completely wrong about all of this and the real reason could be something totally different, but at the moment this is what I think really pushed Anthony away. I do believe that there were also a lot of other things that happened, but I believe that it is the higher ups that put the cherry on top.
Okay, so what about Ian and Anthony? Are they still friends and if so, why donā€™t Ian collab with Anthony or vice versa? Well, I believe I may have an answer for the worst Ianthony drought in history.
YES Ian and Anthony are still friends as Iā€™ve already mentioned HERE. So if they are, whereā€™s Ian in Anthonyā€™s content. Well, what if Anthony couldnā€™t leave unless he agreed to a couple of obligations? What if Defy made him sign a contract? It would allow him to mention the brand name, but he would not be allowed to promote it, use the brand in his own content, or have any creative say so... what if that includes Ian? Like obviously he would be able to mention Ian, but what if Ian CANā€™T be in his videos because it is part of the contract he signed when he left? If it is true that Ian is included with the brand contract, then that would explain why Ian isnā€™t in any of Anthonyā€™s videos and it would also explain that seemingly harsh and out of the blue TWEETĀ he made four days after leaving.
Tumblr media
He was legally forced to disconnect himself from the company and the brand completely which could also prevent Ian showing up in his videos. Ian is technically a part of the Smosh brand, after all. We know it isnā€™t Ianā€™s side of the contract either. We know this because while Anthony was signed on with S*osh, they collabed with MANY other YouTubers who mentioned the brand with no problems. So, why wouldnā€™t Ian be able to collab with Anthony? Because he signed a departure contract that forbids him from doing so. For how long? No one knows, but I have a feeling that it will expire eventually. The quote from his livestream I mentioned at the start of this theory stated that he may talk about what really happened later. Why not now? Because the contract he signed is forbiddening him from doing so until the legal binding is lifted.Ā
Again, I could be 100% wrong! This could all just be crazy talk for all i know! I mean,Ā what kind of company would place legal obligations on an employee just because they want to le-
