I'm trans-coded in the way cis people who have never interacted with a person they knew was trans write trans ppl
DISCLAIMER this post is NOT meant to spotlight myself as the "Ideal Transgender FtM" my main intention is to remind MYSELF how my transmasculine identity has always been and will be part of my identity for when I start to doubt if I really am transmasculine and even though your experience as a trans person and more specifically a transmasculine person may be different from my own you are still just as valid in your identity as I am
#i.e. i dont like swimming#i was referred to as a tomboy throughout my childhood#i would always choose male avatars in video games#i made my MII IN THE MII PLAZA ON THE NINTENDO WII male#until people kept asking me about it too much and i begrudginly made it female#i used to go out of my way for male validation#to the point of dipping into misogynistic ideology#I GOT BETTER THOUGH I PROMMY#i flat out told my mom that i wish i was a boy#TWICE#ive always hated my name bc im named after a disney princess#i could probably keep thinking of examples but this post is already super wordy#disclaimer probably couldve went in the tags#or under a cut#but i wanted to make sure there was no possibility to misunderstand my intent with this post lol

@ this and the other person who commented: oh wow of all the things it couldve been i did not expect a like 15 second star allies skit to be the culprit LMAO. once again disclaimer that i love star allies but oh yeah. dear star allies and your morally dubious writing choices... and sometimes just your bad writing in itself..... ive always been an advocate of picking and choosing what you like from canon (provided youre not being. problematic about it or whatever the fuck) and thats always went extra for me for star allies ngl. though youre right anon its definitely not meant to be taken that seriously kdhfg
ayyy i could retell the whole situation as a sort of fandom history thing but its probably not good to dredge that up tbh. and also, re: the stalking. i dont want to get stalked by that guy i swear theyre still lurking around LOL. they got ran off the site a long time ago due to all the nonsense they caused. always stuck their heated opinions in the main tags and then caused the main tags to be a dumpster fire for like a week every time they opened their mouth because they talked without knowing what the actual issue was istg. among... many many other things holy shit. but no point in complaining so much about someone who isnt in fandom anymore (pls dont stalk me and send me anon hate mail if you see this and know who you are i didnt mean it 😍😍😍) haha what did you hear something
