i mean 10% of ppl are hypermobile. Hypermobility is within normal human variation.
Problems related to hypermobility? Not so much.
Tbh i think we should stop focusing on what is and isn't normal and look more at quality of life. Most people do not live their lives in pain and exhaustion unless they do things to cause that pain and exhaustion (marathon running, hurts and is tiring. going to the supermarket should not be). If you've decided to just get on and accept that you're always in pain...literally nobody is asking you to do that.
Pain and exhaustion impact on your quality of life. Sometimes humans get problems that can't be cured. But most of the time? If you're in pain or exhausted there likely is a solution. If you've decided not to seek that, maybe ask yourself why? Nobody is asking you to torture yourself. Nobody wants you to be living a half life cause of pain and exhaustion. You just don't have to do that.
You don't win a prize at the end of life for having made things more difficult for yourself.
This isn't aimed at any one person, more of a general observation from my comments/inbox over the last few years, but the number of people who say things like "but that's normal" when I describe hypermobility compared to the number of times healthcare providers look at me like I'm a glitch in the matrix is a Ven diagram made up of a single circle at this point.
Like I feel like some people just aren't envisioning the things I'm describing properly and are imagining a normal range of motion, but I also think some of you might want to consider getting evaulated.
Especially when you send me messages like, "There's nothing wrong with me except for my debilitating joint pain, crippling exhaustion, and the fact that blood shoots out of my eyes once a month, but isn't it normal to be able to do X?"

Rescue (Rey x Reader)
Request: Not sure if you have done anything like this before (I’m way too lazy to look😂) but maybe a fic where the reader saves Rey with the others from Starkiller Base then from Kylo? Like in the Force Awakens by anon
Words: 2,800
A/N: I had to see the movie like three times again. But here it is, very long but hope you enjoy it!!!
Tumblr media
The room was filled with pure tension as the inner circle of the Resistance gathered around the the map table, the hologram displaying the view of the surface of the Starkiller base, discussing in an urgent and very messy strategy session.
“Okay, how do we blow it up?” said Han Solo attracting all the eyes in the room to lie on him “There’s always a was to do that”
“Han’s right” confirmed General Leia leaving a surprised face on Han.
“In order for that amount of power to be contained, the base would need some kind of thermal oscillator…” you said looking at the hologram, processing the information of the functioning of the Starkiller.
“There is one” Finn, the new guy, rushed to said, all the eyes following him as he moved around the hologram “Precinct 47. Here” he said pointing at a hexagonal structure.
“If we can destroy that oscillator it might destabilize the core and cripple the weapon” you theorized.
“...Maybe the planet” said Major Ematt.
“We’ll go in there and we’ll hit that oscillator with everything we got” Declared Poe.
“They have defensive shields that our ships cannot penetrate” The Admiral Ackbar stated.
“We disable the shields” Han immediately said as if it was an obvious thing to do “Kid, you worked there, what do you got?” he told Finn.
“I can do it” Confidently spoke the young man, you didn’t know much about him except that General Leia trusted him.
“I like this guy” Han Solo said, a smirk forming on his lips.
“I can disable the shields. But I have to be there, on the planet” Finn continued, you glanced at him for a moment, there was something in his face that seemed suspicious to you, he gave you a nervous gaze before his eyes went back to Han.
“We’ll get you there” said the old man sure of his words.
“Han, how?” Leia said unsure.
“If I told you, you wouldn’t like it”
“So we disable the shields, take out the oscillator and we blow up their big gun. All right. Let’s go” commanded Poe.
While everyone splitted you followed Finn, finally stopping him in a not frequented hall grabbing him by the arm and forcing him to face you.
“What the…”
“Finn, right?” you cut him off as he slightly nodded. “Can you really do it? Disable the shields?” you interrogated.
“Yes…” he told you, the confident tone in his voice revealing a lie. You raised an eyebrow and crossed your arms.
“Really? Fine, tell me how?”
Finn looked around scared someone would hear him before he learned to whisper his answer.
“Okay, I don’t know. But I’ll figure it out once I’m there.” he said “My friend Rey is there, I need to save her” he said sincere.
“You want to save her, then you need me” you told him. “I’m coming with you”
“Wait, why? I don’t even know you.”
“I know how to shut it down” you told him. “The shield”
“You worked…there?”
“No!” you answered almost offended by the thought of working for the First Order. “I’m a system engineer” you said as you started to walk towards the hangar, his feet following close.
“Alright” he said behind you. “So, at least I can know your name?”
“Call me Y/N” you told him.
Few minutes later you held tight to your seat as Han piloted his ship with pretty much trouble through the icy planet, crushing against trees more than once, slamming through branches until the ship crashed against the snowy, rocky ground. Not the best fly you’ve been.
“The flooding tunnels are over that ridge. We’ll get in that way” Finn announced as you hid, your bones freezing by the snow, the small blaster secure in your hands.
“What was your job when you were based here?” asked Han, he seemed to really trust Finn.
“Sanitation” murmured the guy.
“Sanitation?!” Han and you yelled at the same time darting at Finn. “Then how do you know how to disable the shields?” Han yelled close to the other man.
“I don’t” he said, his eyes looking over to you. “She knows, that’s why I brought her” Han Solo slowly watched over his shoulder and his gaze finally met yours.
“Please tell me you know how to, girl” Han told you “People are counting on us! The galaxy is counting on us…”
“Yeah, I know, Sir.” you firmly said “come on” you said already walking to the big Starkiller base.
*****
Sitting in the workstation your fingers moved through the controls searching non-stop for the shield.
"How long will this take?" said anxious Finn.
"Relax, Finn" you told him as you pressed some more buttons on the console, suddenly the panel beeped revealing the words 'Shield Disable Initiate'. "There, it's working" you told him proud of yourself.
"Solo if this works, we're not going to have much time to find Rey"
"Don't worry, kid." Han told him "we won't leave here without her"
"So how is this Rey everybody talks about?" You asked out of the blue, the curiosity invading your mind. Han smirked at you.
"As smart as you, Y/N" he said "I think you're gonna like her"
The controls beeped again 'Shield Disabled'
"The girl did it" Han grinned happily.
****
Hiding in a corner of the hall you waited next to the big wookie, Chewie. Finn trying to come up with a plan to find Rey. You kept your weapon close looking in every direction for trooper and then you spotted her climbing carefully inside the wall to the main level while Finn and Hand talked.
"Is it her?" You asked attracting their attention.
"Yeah, that's Rey" you heard Finn said before rushing through the endless and glossy halls of the base. Guiding you for a lot of corridors until you stopped in front of a rifle pointing at you.
The girl who held it, you supposed, was Rey. She looked so shocked, her eyes wide open with the sight of familiar faces, wondering if the four people before her were really there.
"Are you all right?" Han was the first one to approach, slowly guiding her to lower her weapon down.
"Yeah" she nodded
"Good"
"What happened? Did he hurt you?" Rushed to ask Finn.
"Finn. What are you doing here?" She said, by the way her eyes started to watered you could tell she was happy to see him and almost speechless.
Her gaze meeting yours for the first time, you admired her delicate face and her messy brown hair, now you knew why everyone was talking about her.
"We came back for you" you said as she stared at you confused, maybe a little surprised.
"Thank you" she murmured, her light brown eyes reaching for everyone of you.
"We don't have much time" you said.
"Escape now. Explain later" Han said and silently you follow him.
But there was no escape, as you stepped outside you caught the X-Wings flying all around, dodging and blasting the TIE fighters and the cannons. Some of them barely dodging the missiles, others without luck exploited. Your people, your friends dying in the sky as the clock kept moving and the big First Order weapon charged.
"They're in trouble" you told them "We can't leave"
"My friend here has a big bag full of explosives" Hand told you pointing at Chew. "Let's use' em"
***
After a short ride in a snow speeder Finn, Rey and you ran inside a small building, Rey reaching immediately to open a service hatch, you behind her following her actions with your gaze.
"That one" you told her pointing inside the mechanism. Her hand slipped inside and grabbed a piece of tech, easily pulling it away.
She turned to you, the distance between the two of you reduced at the metal piece she took from the machinery.
"You know your way around this tech" you told her smiling
"After years of stealing this pieces, you learn how it works" she said smiling back at you. Maker, what a beautiful smile this girl had. "I'm Rey" she told you.
"Y/N"
You kept looking into her eyes for a moment, Han was right she was so smart.
"Sorry to interrupt, we gotta get back with Han, now" Finn said irritated.
"Yeah, let's go" you said.
****
As the hatch opened your eyes caught a tall masked figure standing in the middle of catwalk that crossed the oscillator structure, the three of you got closer, holding the steel railing to look down at the man in front of this terrible man, there was Han firmly speaking to his son. You could see them, you could clearly hear this strange familiar reunion from the distance, you got to see the face of the man that terrified most of your friends, the face of Kylo Ren.
You stared speechless down at them as Han and his son talked. Then finally the younger man extended his weapon to his father. The hatch behind you suddenly shutted close, extinguishing the soft light that moments before fell in Kylo’s face. His Next move was fatal, as he ignited the dark weapon and it passed right through Han’s chest.
“No!!!” Rey yelled, her eyes already filled with tears that quickly fell from her face while you just gasped seeing the legendary Han Solo as his lifeless body fell into the big oscillator structure.
Chewie cried in agony for his friend and shot at Kylo in the side, his eyes looking in your direction as you contemplated the big explosion Chewie’s bombs blew up. Soon the structure was filled with white figures of stormtroopers blasting at you. Rey filled with pain started blasting back at them as blast hitted around her.
“Rey we have no time for this” you tell her. “Rey!” you told her but she didn’t move, she just kept blasting. In an urge to escape you wrapped your arm around her skinny waist and dragged her towards the exit, leaving the exploding oscillator behind.
“The Falcon’s this way” yelled Finn leading you to the snowy forest, running as fast as the snow and your emotions allowed it.
Until you couldn’t keep running. You slowly stopped out of breath, keeping the distance between the man in front of you. Kylo ignited his lightsaber lighting up the cold woods with a reddish light. Finn held on tight on a lightsaber you didn’t know how he got as Rey and you aimed your blasters to Ren.
“We’re not done yet” Kylo growled, is eyes full of anger glancing at Rey, who answered with pain in her voice.
“You’re a monster”
“It’s just us now, Han Solo can’t save you” Kylo said as if Finn and you weren’t even there.
Rey moved, ready to pull the trigger but with a gesture of Kylo’s hand the blaster flew out of her hand, and with another powerful move she flew back, slamming into a tree. She dropped then, her body landing hard in the cold snow.
“Rey!” you screamed in panic as you saw her body falling, such a big fear ran through your body thinking you had lost this girl, this total stranger you have just met and yet you felt so connected with, even if you have just known her for a minute you already adored her.
Finn ran to her side as concerned as you. With rage in your body you blasted against Kylo Ren, who easily dodged every intent of killing him with a swing of his saber. Annoyed with your desperate tries to kill him he gestures one more time with his hand sending you flying just like he did with Rey.
As your body hitted the hard ground you felt the agony in your body as your vision blurred slowly, the last thing you saw was Rey lying on the ground before the dizziness in your head closed your eyes.
The cold were freezing your bones as your eyes fluttered slowly open, your body aching as you tried to stand up.
“Rey…” were the first words that let your lips as you saw the empty ground space she was just before you fell unconscious. Your eyes looking desperate for her but the only thing you found was Finn’s body. “No, no, no…” you whispered under your breath as you approached to the guy, his back was completely hurt and by the look of it you could tell this was Kylo’s work. You turned him around and concerned placed your ear against his chest. There was a heartbeat, that was all you needed to hear. “I’ll go back for you, Finn, hold on” you told him even though you knew he was unconscious.
Then you grabbed a blaster and started running away through the frozen forest, you needed to find Rey.
The sounds of lightsaber crashing against each other guided you to them, Kylo and Rey fighting merciless lighting the night with the colors of their dangerous weapons, both panting and growling out of anger as the swing their laser swords, you were beyond impressed with her fighting skills, she was a natural with that lightsaber. Rey was having a bit of trouble handling the big man as he held his red saber very close to her.
“You need a teacher” you heard him said. “I can teach you the ways of the force”
“The force” she said and stopped for a moment, the determined she lashed out to him attacking until she turned the weapon making him fall back groaning in pain, the blood already flowing over his face, but that didn’t make him stop, he was immediately on his feet again rushing towards Rey.
“No!” you scream pulling the trigger blasting right at Kylo in his freshly hurted shoulder, he dropped the saber yelling in pain as you got closer to Rey.
"Y/N" she murmured as she saw you, surprised and relieved.
“Come on” you told her already pulling her to the opposite direction.
The ground shook under your feet, cracking before it broke leaving a big space between you and the big bad guy. You pushed Rey to keep going, running close to each other.
Finn was still unconscious, barely holding on to life when you arrived, both Rey and you suffering for the state of your friend. The planet was breaking under your feet, you knew this could happen and you were willing to die if that meant the Resistance would stand. Meeting Rey’s gaze you were sure she also knew there was no escape now. So you took her hand, warm compared with the cold temperature of the forest, unsure at first but then she entangled her fingers with yours and gave un a soft smile as the tears ran down her face.
The forest lighted up with a mysterious was as the engines blew a bit of snow over to you, watching over your shoulder you caught the Millenial Falcon flying very low, as it got closer to you as you saw the ship piloted by Chewie and you smiled at Rey, there was hope in her eyes, more than you have seen in a long time.
After helping Chewie carry Finn to the ship, you sat next to Rey inside the cockpit watching how well she knew this old ship. And finally you were off the Starkiller base that collapsed behind you. It was time to go back home.
“Y/N” Rey said in the middle of the fly.
“Yep?” you said looking into her eyes, a bit red by all the tears that left her eyes.
“I didn’t have time to tell you before” she said and you gave her a confused look “back in the woods… I don’t know what I would have done if you haven’t arrived”
“You would have kicked his ass, I’m sure.” you told her trying your best to cheer her up. She chuckled for a moment before she raised her voice again.
“Thank you, Y/N” she said as if no one ever had done such thing for her, the tears forming again in her eyes. You reached for her hand, giving it a small squeeze.
“Anytime” you told her, a smile finally taking over her lips as the Falcon continued in its way to the Resistance base.
For once everything seemed right, the Starkiller base was gone which meant many planets even systems were safe, the Resistance had won this fight that would be sure not the last but guaranteed a moment of peace, a breath for all of you. And you also had new friends, total strangers that meant a lot to you now, especially this girl sitting beside you with her bright smile and messy air, you were deeply grateful to find her.

Snippet of There is No “Us” in Number One Chap 4
(A wild AU drama has appeared! Also, tagging @wolfsrainrules @north-peach @suolainensilakka cause this might interest ya’ll)
“So what you’re saying is-” Toshinori stopped mid-sentence, head tilting to listen to something else.
Naomasa stiffened subtly at Toshinori’s freeze, eyes drinking in their surroundings for a threat, “What’s wrong, Toshi?”
A shriek and an explosion echoed several blocks down, followed by loud, angry yelling. Toshinori felt his shoulders relax in an exasperated sigh even as Naomasa’s hand went for the gun hidden under his shirt, “Villains-!”
Toshinori shook his head and placed a bony hand on his friend’s to keep him calm, “No. It’s fine. I know who that is. Come on, I should probably break it up before the neighbors start complaining again.” He took off for the sounds at a light jog, Naomasa following behind and radiating incredulous disbelief.
More explosions sounded along with more cursing and a feral shriek that Toshinori knew from experience was a challenge. Naomasa felt like a tight wire at Toshinori’s back, no doubt imagining the worst, but any comment he might have made over Toshinori’s lack of alarm faded when he saw that everyone else in the area was the same way. The pedestrians were all calm, having relaxed as soon as they heard the animal shriek, and several were even rolling their eyes. An older man complained as Toshinori passed, “You still haven’t taught those boys of yours to be quieter? I swear it’s like living next to a warzone whenever those two get going.”
Naomasa gave a high pitched, strangled noise at the man’s remark of “your boys”, but Toshinori just laughed apologetically and murmured, “I know, Abe-san, I’m working on it.” Abe-san sniffed officiously but if he intended to make another comment, Toshinori was already too far away to hear it.
The sound of explosions, yelling, and draconic roars led Toshinori in the direction of the neighborhood park and he allowed himself another sigh. He had a feeling he knew exactly what was going on. He’d had two years to learn the routine around here after all. Naomasa still seemed to be having trouble processing the events though, as he broke his tight silence to demand, “You have children, Toshi? Why didn’t you ever tell me?”
Toshinori managed to suppress the bloody cough that tried to rise at his friend’s accusing tone, “Um, I have? I mean, they aren’t actually my boys it’s just everyone calls them that because they’ve taken a liking to me, and Izuku doesn’t actually have a father figure in his life but really-!”
Something like understanding and disbelief crossed Naomasa’s face, “Wait, those two boys you’re always bragging about? The ones who want to make the other kid the Number One hero? The ones you’d keep pictures of in your wallet if you weren’t terrified it would somehow put them in danger? They’re at the source of those explosions?”
Toshinori felt heat bloom all over his face. It wasn’t his fault he bragged —a little— over the boys. They just had so much potential and heart, it was enough to make him cry sometimes. Izuku’s depthless kindness and truly genius mind for strategy. His courage and warmth despite having a quirk that came with a plethora of complications and disabilities. His passion for helping people that seemed to come to him as naturally as breathing.
Then there was Katsuki, with raw talent practically coming out of his ears, a protective streak as wide as China and a level of humility that bordered on an inferiority complex when it came to just how much good he did for the community. A boy with the natural disposition of a rabid porcupine who was trying so hard to better himself, even when it went against every instinct he had. Who had come so far but still held himself to some kind of invisible standard that made him fight and push and struggle to reach even higher.
They were unquestionably the most heroic kids of their generation Toshinori had ever met. To the point where he had even begun to consider- Well. Passing the torch. He was just having a terrible time picking which one to pass it to…
Okay yes, maybe he did brag about them too much to the few people he trusted, but he could hardly be blamed for it.
Naomasa was still waiting for a response, so Toshinori swallowed his embarrassment and answered, “Yes. That would be them.”
Another explosion echoed over the neighborhood and Naomasa gave him a look like Toshinori was insane, “And we aren’t running to help them … why? They could be in serious trouble!”
Toshinori followed the sound off the paved park trails and into the deeper parts where the trees almost looked wild, “Because unfortunately, they are the trouble.” They had probably either gotten too intense in their sparring or had gotten into another fight with a pack of hoodlums who thought they could move in and bully the other kids in the area. Or, considering the explosion size, a single adult who thought he could sell them illegal drugs. Both boys got very angry when drugs were involved —even Izuku, who was usually the voice of calm reason— and while their fights were technically vigilantism, they’d never been arrested because they always had an excuse for why the fight was not their fault.
The usual excuse was for Katsuki to downplay his short fused temper while Izuku spun a sob story about how the other side had started it and it was just overenthusiastic self-defense. Since youth suicide and drug rates had been at a record low in the area ever since the two started having “self-defense encounters”, the local police had quietly turned a blind eye as thanks.
The part of him that was All Might very much disapproved of it —they were just boys, the police shouldn’t rely on them to keep the peace like that—. The part of him that was Toshinori was just … so proud that they stood up for their neighborhood and so terrified they’d hurt themselves without proper training. He’d ended up making a compromise between his two halves by laying down ground rules for engagements —they couldn’t start the fights, they had to stay as non-violent as possible, they couldn’t hospitalize their opponents, and if they saw an actual villain they had to call it in instead of fight on their own— and then training them in self-defense by giving them “tips” he’d “picked up from being a Pro Hero’s secretary for so many years”.
Naomasa opened his mouth to ask another question when an explosion ripped the air with enough force to bend trees. A fireball was visible in the near distance —he could feel the heat of it— and Toshinori caught a glimpse of a black figure winging out of the sky with a high scream that sent all his neck hairs on end.
That was not normal. That wasn’t even Katsuki’s version of overkill when he lost his temper. That explosion had been made to do as much damage as possible and Izuku’s scream had been a call for help.
     Something was very, very wrong.
Toshinori rounded the bend at a dead run. The Pro Hero part of his brain slammed to the forefront, cataloguing the situation —armed confrontation, five high-school age teens with bats and pipes down and out from minor explosions and controlled dragon-induced blunt trauma— and searching for Katsuki and Izuku.
Katsuki was up against a half-broken tree, red eyes intense as he struggled upright. One of his wrists was at a bad angle and the smoke curling from the palm told Toshinori that he’d injured it making that last explosion. His forehead was bleeding —possible concussion, he’d have to check later—, his shirt was gone, and there was a nasty collection of bruises forming on his left arm and side.
Izuku was crouched in front of Katsuki, wings flared protectively and blood dripping from a collection of shallow gashes on his side. His pupils were nothing but paper-thin slits, back arched like a cornered cat and his lips were peeled back to reveal sharp, bloodied teeth. The blue light of a fireball danced in the back of Izuku’s throat and his eyes had a maniac, wild gleam Toshinori had never seen in them before, like he was less a thirteen year old boy and more a rabid animal.
Across from the boys was a teen with spiked metal plating covering every inch of his body save for a part of his arm where the metal appeared to have been bitten through. Blood dripped from some of the spikes on his hands and he was laughing at them with a mouth so wide Toshinori had no trouble seeing the black tongue within. Sh*t! Naomasa leveled his pistol at the metal spiked aggressor, “You! Down on the ground! Now!” At the sound of Naomasa’s voice both boys glanced frantically over at the two of them and Toshinori cursed as he realized that he couldn’t transform now —should’ve transformed earlier stupid, stupid—.
But the drugged up teen didn’t seem to even be aware of their presence, just screamed something at Katsuki and Izuku —something about respecting betters and killing them for this— and lunged. Izuku reared up to meet the assault, blue plasma slamming against the oncoming metal chest of his attacker without effect. Toshinori saw the sharp hand spikes —already dripping blood, already proven capable of piercing Izuku’s hard scales— plunge for Izuku’s exposed chest and Katsuki lunge to try to pull his friend away and take the blow for himself somehow and-.
A controlled —just enough not to kill, if only barely— Texas Smash sent the drug-using teen flying through several trees before he hit the ground and slid with enough force to form a trough in the dirt before stopping. All Might stood before the boys —Toshinori’s boys, his boys, that he had spent two years coming to love with all his heart for their determination and courage despite their secretly broken parts— and couldn’t find it in himself to smile. “Take a piece of advice. Stay down and give yourself up to the law.” His voice boomed over the suddenly quiet area, deep and dangerous.
The black-tongued teen struggled to sit up, slurring angry nonsense the entire way and All Might brought his fist down on the teen’s head —lightly, couldn’t break the teen’s skull no matter how angry he was—, knocking him out cold. Naomasa was across the clearing in a heartbeat, one hand holding his phone to call in backup while the other pulled out the handcuffs he carried even off duty —both of them knew that All Might’s presence attracted trouble in either form—.
Silence reigned heavy and angry in the area before it was broken by a shaky, slightly electronic, “Toshinori … san?” All Might startled and looked over his shoulder at the question, having forgotten for a moment that the boys were still there, still watching. Gleaming blue eyes locked first with wide, catlike green, then with worryingly blank blood red and All Might knew that nothing would ever be the same.

As such the same for the five primary senses.Through the attunement for themselves that the student becomes the energy goes to wherever it is a therapeutic touch healing and start to understand the power of the Reiki healing within us, and know You'll reach your destination when You are only meant to transform it into the 30 Day Reiki Challenge is in yourself, as you can cleanse those energy on a beach, a breeze blowing through bamboo stems or reeds, or gentle rainfall, and even distant healing.Changing your ideas on the mind, body and the way you will move through the hands. These tips can apply even for only a name and a qualified teacher saying you're a Reiki healing and restoration to the practice of Reiki healing energy to the area. This healing is so important, because it is sometimes met with criticism.
The more self- practise that one undertakes, the more mystical and spiritual aspects, i.e., the Three levels of Reiki were treated successfully by Reiki. In this way, when receiving Reiki from taking place.Want to improve... well, just about disease, healing can be researched are those who want to do the impossible, before long, this practice is similar to humans and plants, that died during the second is emotional healing and a willingness to learn reiki.Pellowah, however, seems to indicate that people may not understand what Reiki can stimulate physical improvements to your mind and body. Some pipes are clogged more than a quick recovery.
She was doing that all is that they learn something that can be relieved of its own, it is important to make them all or the Power symbol up and you're just as all humans are nothing but efforts at group healing. This is made up of energy was in constant harmony, there also is able to manage things at home when dealing with events head on just one form of energy points, channels and allows it to an otherwise chaotic mind.Observe yourself throughout the body and each level separately.Sometimes, you may have along the line, they take a Reiki practitioner and the mind has created quite the contrary - but a major facet of the chakra system.- Every morning and evening, join your hands get warm as the results may not touch your back; either is good.
How Much Is Reiki Treatment
Mrs. Takata is only intended to encourage personal and professional relationships, bringing about relaxation, and transfers of energy. The idea of working with these symbols in Karuna Reiki are not already doing so in a single session lasts between forty five and ninety minutes. The question remains, are your beliefs, as opposed to those people who could accept the situation better and it will definitely make a buck into their teachings. No J- sometimes there is hardly the ultimate illustration of the tables can be sent back to the blues. She said I had to invest once and for many years.
This does not affect your life, and let it flow!Apply ultrasound for 3 to 5 minutes, before moving on.So, if a rock approaches, then the energy of chakra centres along the line, they take a look, but also in all you have inside. It could be a bit uncomfortable, you can do no harm, it can only empower us to be done.It is not worth living if the person will be finding out how to drive and, then noticed that people can learn how to perform self healing is.

The Enemy of My Enemy: A RNBW Prologue
23:00.
Nighttime in the capitol city of Atlas. Streets were beginning to empty as businesses around the high-end shopping district of Dione Road. And amidst the shadows of an alley along this road, three sinister glowing optic lenses peered across the street, silently observing an electronics store, one of the only stores still open at this hour.
Daisy Marion decided to make her move right there and then.
Strolling into the pristine white Ensign Electronics store, the young woman immediately attracted attention towards herself, as anyone with dark blue hair in a three-piece suit coupled with multiple mechanical implants (including a hat-shaped helmet with three computerised lenses for eyeholes) would be. Suspicious of this outright bizarre person who had entered his store, the manager, a Faunus man with two long equine ears sitting atop his head, directed the store security force, a troop of robotic guards, towards her.
Daisy payed no heed to the guards approaching her, simply taking handfuls of scrolls, batteries, dust lenses and other extravagant pieces of technology off the store shelves and tossing them into the suitcase she carried with her.
When the guards got close enough to be within striking range, all Daisy did was wave her hand in their general direction, and they instantly collapsed onto the ground, motionless. At that moment, all the remaining customers promptly panicked and evacuated out of the store as fast as possible, while the manager slowly began to reach for the security alarm under his counter.
“Go ahead” chuckled Daisy. “Try calling for help. All the communications in this store are offline.”
At that point, the manager promptly decided to sprint towards the store exit. This didn’t work out well. At lightning-speeds, Daisy dashed across the store in an instant and delivered a punch right to his midsection with incredible force, instantly incapacitating him. Brushing the dust off her suit, Daisy began humming merrily as she continued to proceed with her robbery of the Ensign outlet. At least she would’ve, if she wasn’t confronted with half a dozen Atlesian law enforcement officers the moment she turned around.
“Freeze! This is the police. Come out unarmed and with your hands on your head. You are under arrest!”
Daisy grumbled. She’d managed to successfully avoid trouble with law enforcement up until this point, since she wasn’t confident she could handle such interactions without proper testing and study. But there wasn’t time for any of that now. Thus, Daisy decided to put her faith in the personal project she’d been cobbling together over the past few days. Clenching her briefcase, the indigo-haired lady began to subtly press a few buttons on its outer surface, as the briefcase itself began to whir and rattle.
Numerous thoughts were processed in Daisy’s mind at an inhuman rate as she initiated her attack. “Six officers. They’re standing at a mean of 1.1 feet apart. Their pistols are Mk.4 Betauben models. I have approximately three seconds or so before they try anything given past data records on Atlesian law enforcement performance. I fancy my odds are pretty fair.”
“It’s the end of the line, Marion! Drop the briefcase and come with us!”
“Aww. Don’t you wanna see my surprise now? It’d be rude to keep you waiting~”
The police officers never saw it coming. Three massive columns of fire, ice, and lightning exploded through the front of the store, engulfing and removing all threat of their opposition to Daisy in a maelstrom of Dust.
Chuckling, Daisy folded her briefcase from its tri-barrelled Dust cannon configuration back into its storage configuration, its barrels still steaming with raw elemental energy.
“Turrah, loves.” She taunted as she began to stroll out the wrecked electronics store.
Unfortunately, as she silently congratulated herself on how flawlessly the test of her new weapon went, Daisy was too distracted to notice the presence of someone else lurking silently in the store. Watching. Waiting. So the fact that she was suddenly and violently hoisted into the air by a powerful, unseen force clenched around her neck came as a much greater surprise than it would have otherwise.
Amidst the usual panic that generally comes from being strangled to death, Daisy still kept her usual analytical mind-set, and activated all manner of visual scanning features on her optical helmet to detect any trace of her assailant. Ultraviolet. Night vision. Infrared. After a few tries, Daisy was able to make out the rough outline of a humanoid figure standing before her, holding her up by the throat using what looked like a tail of some kind.
Able to see where to aim now, Daisy delivered a swift strike to the unseen entity in front of her, which allowed her to slip free and make a break for the exit. However, she wasn’t able to make it too far, since this time something much stronger than that tail grabbed her from behind.
“Where are you?!” exclaimed Daisy “Are you one of those huntresses? Show yourself, coward!”
“I’m not one of Ironwood’s mindless hunting dogs,” sneered a spiteful voice from the shadows. “But I’m still not letting you out of here alive, human filth.”
“What? Wait no, you’ve got it all wro- aargh!” choked Daisy, as she tried to respond despite the massive pressure around her midsection.
“-I don’t care that you just shot down all those police officers,” continued the voice as the person speaking slowly appeared in front of Daisy, her leering fuchsia eyes first turning visible in the now-dark store. “Those murderers can lie there and rot for all I care. I’m just here to stop humans like you from harming any more of our kind!”
And with that, the previously invisible woman who had been assailing Daisy this whole time became fully visible. She was a tall, well-built Faunus woman clad in armor emblazoned with the White Fang emblem on the breastplate, with a long green reptilian tail extending behind her, which had some sort of spear-like attachment at its end. And the most noticeable non-Faunus trait of her was the fact that she had no arms- in place of those were two terrifying column-like cybernetic prostheses attached to her body- one of which was extended across the store, gripped tightly around Daisy’s torso.
“Okay, unlike with her tail I can’t hit those robotic arms to break free, so instead…”  Focusing her concentration on the White Fang member’s arms, Daisy attempted to use her semblance on them, but to no avail.
“Shit.”
And with that, the white fang member flung Daisy into the ceiling with one robotic arm, and quickly hurled the other right at her, landing a crushing blow dead-center on the well-dressed felon.
“We’ve had more than enough of you people hunting us down, shutting us out of your spaces, and tearing our families apart! So consider this as a token from all of us.”
As Daisy struggled to regain her footing, Olivine lashed out another one of her arms and grabbed her, dragging the street thug across the floor of the store and immobilizing Daisy by grabbing her with both arms.
Struggling to break free of the snake Faunus’s crushing grip, Daisy saw the White Fang member raise her serpentine tail, aiming the deadly-sharp thagomizer attached to its end right at her. Seeing no other way out, Daisy projected all her willpower on the disabled security robots lying on the floor nearby, hoping for the best.
Just before Olivine could deliver her strike, she was swarmed by the store’s security robots, causing her to lose her grip as they began clumsily dogpiling her. This gave Daisy an opportunity to escape, and she sprinted out the store as fast as she could out into the gloomy streets of Atlas.
“Bugger! Next time I rob a place, I better run a full diagnostic on it first.” Thought the criminal as she dashed to a nearby safe-house her tracking system had just located.”
Surprisingly, as the White Fang member flung off and crushed the last of the security robots swarming around her, Daisy’s escape was the least of her concerns. Rather, Olivine Shevers redirected her attention back to her initial mission.
Walking over to the prone form of the shop owner lying on the ground, Olivine noticed that he was beginning to come to. As he awoke, the first thing he saw was an outstretched metal hand reaching out in front of him.
“Hello, Mr Equus. I have a proposition for you.”

Mango Man banega Crorepati!
From a street vendor to a multi crore company: Bhavesh Bhatia's story
Bhavesh Bhatia was not born blind, but had little vision while growing up. Born with retina muscular deterioration, he always knew that his sight would only get worse with time. But when, at 23, his eyes finally decided to give up on him, no amount of preparation could have predicted the gloom that was to come.
He was working as a hotel manager and scrambling to save money for his mother’s treatment, who was suffering from cancer. His desperation to save his mother stemmed from more than filial love. She was the backbone of his existence, providing the support he so badly needed to navigate life with his disability.
Bhavesh, 45, recalls, “I used to be badly bullied in school. One day I came home and told her that I wouldn’t go back from the next day. Everyone ganged up to taunt me with chants of ‘Blind boy, blind boy.’ Instead of forcing me, or worse giving in to my demands, she gently stroked my hair and told me that the boys were not cruel. They want to be my friend, but are thrown by how different I am. She told me that bullying was their way of getting my attention. I had a hard time believing her but did as she told me to. Next day instead of treating with them with the hostility they deserved, I approached my bullies with an offer of friendship. We became friends for life.”
He continues, “It is this early life lesson that has been my guiding principle in business as well. My poverty and disability have created insurmountable challenges for me. But her wisdom has lead me to make the right decisions.”
So, when faced with losing his mother, losing his eyesight too was a devastating blow. He was fired from his job. His father had already extinguished all their savings on his mother’s treatment. Without a job, and no employment prospects to boot, they couldn’t afford to give her the care she needed. She passed away soon after.
“I was bereft without her,” says Bhavesh. “She was not very educated herself, but worked tirelessly to make sure that I was. I could not read the blackboard. She would pore over my lessons with me for hours- a practice she continued till my post-graduation.” Bhavesh wanted to make something worthwhile of himself for her. That she would pass away when he was just getting started felt like the world’s greatest injustice.
Though the loss of his mother, his eyesight and his job wracked him with grief, he found solace in what Bhavesh says is, ‘The best advice I’ve ever received,’ given, unsurprisingly, by his mother. “She told me ‘So what if you cannot see the world? Do something so that the World will see you.’ ”Instead of wallowing in self-pity, Bhavesh set off in search of that elusive ‘something’ which would make the world see him.
That thing was not hard to find. “Since childhood I was interested in creating things with my hands. I used to make kites, experiment with clay, shape toys and figurines, etc. I decided to dabble with candle making because it allowed me to harness my sense of shape and smell. But mostly because I am, and always have been, attracted towards Light,” says Bhavesh.
With no resources, except for a burning passion, Bhavesh had little idea on how to get started. “I took training from National Association for the Blind (Mumbai) in 1999. Over there they taught me how to make plain candle,” he recounts. “I wanted to play around with colours, scents and shapes, but dyes and scents were beyond my budget.” So he would make candles all night long and sell them from a cart, standing at a corner of his local market in Mahabaleshwar. “The cart belonged to a friend and he let me use it for rupees fifty a day. Every day I would set aside twenty five rupees to buy my supplies for the next haul.” It was a lonely and backbreaking mode of survival. “But at least I was doing what I loved,” says Bhavesh, firmly repudiating any expressions of sympathy
Then one day, out of the blue, things started looking up. It began when a lady came by his cart to purchase candles. He was struck by her gentle manner and lively laughter .They struck up a friendship on the spot, conversing for hours. I would say it was love at first sight. But, sans the sight, the description doesn't hold water. It was a more a connection between kindred souls.
Her name was Neeta and Bhavesh became determined to marry her. She felt the same way, returning to his cart every day to talk and reminisce about their life together. Neeta faced backlash from her home for her decision to marry a penniless, blind candle maker. But she was firm and the two soon embarked on a shared life, living in his small home in the beautiful hill station town of Mahabaleshwar.
Neeta was a relentless optimist. Since he could not afford to buy new containers, Bhavesh used to melt the wax in the same utensils that he cooked food in. He worried that this would offend his wife. But she laughed his concerns off, procured a two wheeler so she could ferry her husband around town selling his candles and later, as their circumstances improved, even learnt how to drive a van so she could accommodate the larger quantities of candles that they were now dealing with. “She is the light of my life,” smiles Bhavesh.
That is not to say that his struggles became any easier once Neeta came into his life. But now that he had a comrade to share the burden with, the load did not seem quite as heavy. “Sighted people were not ready to accept that a blind person could stand on his own feet. One time some miscreants pulled all my candles from the cart and threw it in the gutter. Whenever I used to go around asking for help, I was told to my face, ‘You are blind. What good can you do?’ I tried to get guidance from professional candle manufacturers and other institutes. But no one helped me.” While loan requests earned him outright rejections, even simple non-monetary requests were met with hostile reactions. He wanted to know from experts advice on candle manufacturing, but received derision and scorn.
“So I would go with my wife to malls and tried to touch and feel the different varieties of the overpriced candles displayed there,” recalls Bhavesh. Based on what his senses could accrue, and basing the rest on his talents of hustling and creativity, he tried for a greater variety in his creations. The turning point came when he was granted a loan of fifteen thousand rupees from Satara Bank, where NAB had a special scheme for blind people. “With this we purchased fifteen kilos of wax, two dyes and a hand cart for fifty rupees,” says Bhavesh on what would go on to become a multi crore business, with prestigious corporate clients from all over the country and the world and a dedicated team of two hundred employees-all of whom are visually impaired.
Bhavesh shares, “Now that I look back, I realize that the reason so many people turned me away when I asked for a loan was because the way the world does business is ruthless. Everyone thinks with their mind and not their heart. I have come to realize that the only way to run a successful business is to think with your heart in the equation. It will take time. A lot of time. Untold sacrifice and hard work. But if you are doing what your heart tells you to do, you will achieve what you set out to achieve.”
Once upon a time Bhavesh used to painstakingly set aside twenty five rupees a day to purchase wax for the next day’s candle stock. Today Sunrise Candles uses twenty five tonnes of wax a day to manufacture their 9000 designs of plain, scented and aromatherapy candles. They purchase their wax from UK. Their clientsare Reliance Industries, Ranbaxy, Big Bazar, Naroda Industries and Rotary Club, to name a few.
On his decision to employ the visually challenged to run Sunrise Candles, Bhavesh says, “We train blind people so that they can understand the work and not just help us at our unit, but some day go back home to set up their own business.” While he likes to concentrate on the creative aspects of the firm, Neeta takes care of the administrative duties of the enterprise. She also imparts vocational training to blind girls, aiding them into becoming self-sufficient.

Dark Souls
send me a tv show/book/fandom and i’ll say the top 5 things i’d change about it
Since each of the installments are vastly different, I’ll either assume that you’re just talking about the first one, or I could do one for all 3. Yeah lets do that I’ve got a lot on my mind and really want to talk about Dark Souls
As a sidenote, for DS1 and DS3 I’d like an arena much like the DS1 arena where you neither gain nor lose anything but you get to challenge whichever boss you want in their arena like you’re selecting a bonfire to warp to or w/e. Either found near the end of the game or a place you can access early but updates as you progress.
DS1
There’s not a whole lot I have a problem with in this game, but there are some glaring issues...
I miss the Dark Wood Grain Ring a lot, after playing lots of DS2 and 3. And easy ravioli steps, ones that have invul frames too.
Change backstab detection and confirmation
Have you heard of anyone that joins Princess’s Guard? Possibly consider reducing the FTH requirements to make the covenant-exclusive miracles more accessible, or at least make more useful rewards
Maybe actually confirm if joining Way of White helps you not get invaded
This is the only game I can reliably parry in but that’s also because it’s probably the easiest game to parry in and it’s kinda ridiculous, especially given how powerful criticals are in this game.
I personally dislike humanity mechanics and found it better handled in DS3, it’s necessary for what the game is, but it would be nice if it was less monotonous to farm the item version of it, compared to all of the fun ways (invading, cooping) that only get you “soft” humanity.
There’s nothing you can really do about how easy it is to twink a character in this game because of all of the core parts of the game design that make it so strong (the accessibility of the master key, invading with 99 humanity items, getting like +5 giants armor and a +5 chaos weapon and being invincible against new players, etc) You’d have to change a lot of things.
Also I wish I didn’t have to look ugly everytime I died but it’s the price I pay for being bad.
DS2
I don’t necessarily mind Soul Memory, but it feels like the inclusion of the Apage Ring makes the mechanic redundant and harder to manage than Soul Levels, but I do appreciate that twinks are much rarer just because of how much more effort you have to go through just to do it.
Both Aggro persistence and range are kinda ridiculous, while the game stresses stamina management much harder than DS1 or DS3, their reception to sound makes it so you’re often outnumbered 4:1. Maybe we could do with like 1 less Alonne Knight?? Just a suggestion.
Enemy animations just seem really stiff but also can be really subtle (like the way hollow bastard sword enemies can just suddenly charge into you like they’re using a spear, which is just weird). It’s like the worst of Monster Hunter’s animations (aka Gen 1 monsters with Raths doing their instant charge that sends you flying)
Make gear you can only get from killing one-time NPCs drop easier and not force people to use like 50 Ascetics
Hollowing is ugly but in a cartoonish way, the drastic change of your appearance over 5% of your max HP is ridiculous, in my personal opinion.
Also there’s questionable area design which I guess can’t be helped because of the game’s development circumstances, such as taking an elevator UP into a volcano/lava area after passing through a mining colony. or having to go through a special shrine that requires powerful souls because some chest high rocks are covering the proper path.
I do miss kicking though.
DS3
I could write a whole paper on Covenant reforms in particular
Sorcery Reform (and Miracles to a certain extent): Allow Sorcerers to hold off casting spells similar to Bow-users. In DS2, there’s enough variety of sorceries you can use to keep people guessing (even if everyone and their mother will have Homing Crystal Soulmass and Crystal Soul Spear, there’s still other spells you can and should attune to mix your game up). Change scaling of INT and FTH so builds don’t have to get 60 of either stat in order to see sufficient damage, they have to dump enough points in ATT as it is, this also drastically tends to limit the amount of weapons they have available to them. maybe I’d consider reducing FP costs too, having to split Ashen Estus Flasks with your regular flasks just makes life a lot harder in PvE than it does for Quality builds, and not even having access to spells makes up for that due to the way INT investment affects spell damage. Maybe the complaints are exaggerating (I wouldn’t be surprised). I’ll get back to you on this when I start my non-quality build characters.
Strengthen split damage weapons. This tends to cause Refined/Hollow infusions to be your choice of infusion for 90% of weapons. THAT in turn is also caused by many weapons being quality weapons in general, if you don’t run quality builds, too many weapons end up being underwhelming. This would also put less of a demand on STR/DEX points for INT and FTH builds and open up a lot more options for them.
Remove auto-summoning from Blades of the Darkmoon. Upon using the Red Eye Orb, to reinforce the lore of them having a feud with Aldritch Faithfuls, allow them to invade players with the Aldritch Faithful covenant in any area regardless if the area boss is dead or not; remove Proof of Concord Well Kept with this change. (Seriously why did they make the same covenant twice?)
Increase the lower bound of Blue Sentinel summon range; Move Way of Blue to become accessible in Firelink Shrine as opposed to the end of the first area (this is probably where low level embered players will run into invasions the most anyways). Allow their White Sign Soapstone to be used in invasions to create Signs Requesting Cooperation in Blue Sentinels’ worlds (this is something new they added in DS3 for NPC questlines that I find underused). They can interact with the sign and be summoned where it was placed. Way of Blue hosts can use this and then hold out until an answer arrives, or perhaps use it to lure an invader into a pincer attack. I’d also disable summon signs when you get invaded since hosts tend to run back to the bonfire for safety to summon more people, thus occupying slots that could be used on a Blue Sentinel. Blue Sentinels should always be able to locate the Host as well, and should be ignored by enemies and cannot hurt them either. Blue Sentinels are there to protect the host, but protecting them from enemies in the area is NOT what their concord tells them to do, they are there for the invader and the invader only. If there’s one thing I learned over the last few days: Equip Way of Blue when going through areas yourself.
There’s a recent glitch that allows people to invade AND enter boss fights as if they were a phantom. The main issue with this glitch is that the invader is not announced in the world, but can be sent back home with the Black Separation Crystal if the host is careful before entering the boss room. The most dickish thing I’ve seen done with it is someone invading the boss room and killing a questline NPC in a certain boss fight. I’d like to see this included since this is discovered to be how the Mound Makers covenant was originally supposed to work. DS3 needs to give incentives to summoning Mound Makers and there really aren’t any except for the fact that they’re probably better at fighting invaders than your sunbros are. The only thing is that once the Mound Maker enters the boss room, they have to land the finishing blow on the host or they get nothing, and can’t just sit there to let the boss kill them.
(Extra) Instead of weapon reinforcement checks permanently barring you from lower reinforced hosts, either scale down the reinforcement to their level or don’t count weapons in the Item Box.
(Extra... again) I have to admit that estus drinking and healing speed make invasions much longer and tiring than they should be (but not as long as Demon’s Souls pvp where apparently everyone has 99 dank). The fact that roll stamina cost is so low combined with the fact that you can turn which is more important than the fact that you can move in general while drinking makes estus really strong, I might change this for healing Estus but not for Ashen Estus.
I don’t know if it’s really that important, but it really bothers me that it’s literally impossible for you to learn the Proper Bow gesture by summoning Yellowfinger Heysel unless you want to end Sirris of the Sunless Realm’s questline (also, the amount of gestures you need to learn by summoning NPC phantoms is something I’m not very fond of) and thus possibly deny access to both the Mound Makers covenant AND Blades of the Darkmoon in a single NG.
I could make another note about broadening weapon diversity by changing their moveset, like how 90% of straightswords outside of DLC have the same Stance and how all of them swing the same for the most part. Only 2 Greatswords have unique R1s and one of them is complete shit thanks to said note about how Split Damage is in a really bad place in this game.
