I absolutely love reading these creative ideas you creative souls. This one had me so giddy its so cute!! Meanwhile Juliana's in the girl talk circle with Carmine, Amarys, and Lacey and they're all chit chatting about her crush on Kieran. (Amarys scared her at first, though, because she hard read her feelings with all the "what is Kieran to you" questions).

A little Dipplinshipping headcannon that may or may not be related to a fic I’m almost finished with: Kieran sends Juliana love letters and this continues even after he receives his first phone. He’s so used to sending letters as a form of communication that it’s easier for him to convey his feelings through words of affirmation.

DipplinShipping Headcanon

Kieran's absolutely WEAK when it comes to Juliana crying. Tears of joy, sadness, or otherwise.

Oh yes this 100% completely breaks him no matter how much angst is in his heart. He is helpless and it's his kryptonite. And yet again, one of my favorite things about this ship is how different some of this stuff would look like at different points even though it's the same love at the end of the day, just evolving and complex:

- Early Teal Mask Kieran: Pedestals and admires everything she does, but deeply resonates with feeling too much. Doesn't fully know how to console her no matter what kind of crying it is and it kills him, because no one ever helped him with his deep emotions he still doesn't fully understand.

- Late Teal Mask Kieran: this one is kind of similar, but he'd also have a bit more of an internal struggle because he's actively pulling away from Juliana emotionally since he's improperly labelling her as an obstacle. He'd try to convince himself she's twisted and manipulating people. But he would still want to be by her side. It would eat at him.

- Edgy Sleepless Kieran: He wants to prove his strength to her. He just gets so hyperfixated on it, and seeing her sad cry either makes him go "Oh, I fucked up" or "OH, WHO AM I FUCKING UP"

Somewhat Stable Kieran: he's just floored and flabbergasted because Juliana, someone he sees as so strong and sweet, is still somehow human. It helps him get over himself a bit because he starts to understand that being emotionally open is a sign of personal strength, not weakness like he'd thought. He wouldn't do or say much to her, though, because he still feels guilty and has some misplaced anger he's holding onto. If he let that go, then he'd have to feel the shame he's been trying to run from. So he would watch her intently instead. If she caught him looking at her, he'd quickly look away with his chin up and act aloof. But everyone around him would immediately read through it because it's so obvious (think his "wowzers" and spy movie lines)

- Post Reality Dose Kieran: he's very overprotective of her, and will hold her and fuck up a bitch if it's sad cry and if he needs to. Sometimes Juliana has to tell Kieran she'll be okay because seeing her unnerved is how we low-key reactivate some of his edge. LOL.

When they're older, Kieran only let's Juliana call him KiKi.

Related headcannons: Juliana innocently calls Kieran "Kiki" during his edgy phase because Drayton convinced her it will "make him feel more like himself" and said everyone else is doing it alongside Carmine (they're not).

Onion head Kiki may or may not have become a tomato when she called him that. He tries to convince himself she's mocking him, because everyone else around them (especially Drayton) is laughing and giggling. But Juliana just nervously looks around and very obviously, even to Kieran, just doesn't understand what she did. And he dies a little inside because he finds THAT to be cute, too.

DipplinShipping Headcanon!

Amarys is one of the biggest supporters of Kieran and Juliana (The other two being Carmine and Drayton).

She taught Juliana the "Heart Fingers" emote, knowing full well she was gonna send Kieran a selfie of herself doing that same emote.

Amarys even set a timer to see how quickly Kieran was gonna bust through the League Club room doors.

I'm gonna build off of your headcannon because that's apparently what I'm doing with these asks now lol:

Amarys would be like "yes...?" and play it cool like nothing's going on. It'd take her a few seconds to look up from some papers on her desk. Kieran would be frantic, flushed in the face, mildly panting and catching his breath because he impetuously stormed to the league room without even thinking. His mouth is gaping open.

Amarys: ...Did you have something to say?

Kieran, panting, clutching his fist: I....I...you...

Amarys: I what...?

Kieran, realizing that he'd give away the fact Juliana gets under his skin, rubs his forehead vigorously and blurts: NEVERMIND.

Kieran slams door and speeds down the hall.

Amarys giggles to herself and resumes her work without a second thought. Some of the other league members give her a puzzled work (if Drayton's there, he'd figure it out and ask Amarys if she wants to team up later LOL). Amarys would also text Carmine about her little fun accomplishment later.

And Juliana? Juliana would have no idea any of this happened.

BB Elite Four's trip to Paldea

Carmine, Lacey, and Amarys: *wearing the latest Paldea fashion*

Juliana: You three look incredible!

Carmine: Now it's your turn to try on the outfit we got you! *shoves Juliana into the changing room*

Kieran, Crispin, and Drayton: *eating crepes while waiting for the girls*

Crispin: I can't wait to see more Paldean food spots!

Drayton: The less I have to walk around, the better.

Kieran, glaring at Drayton: Consider yourself lucky that Juliana invited you at all.

Juliana, coming out wearing the latest Unova fashion: Okay! How does it look?

Kieran: *quickly crushes his crepe upon seeing her*

Crispin: KIERAN! YOU'RE WASTING FOOD!

Carmine: You look so amazing!

Amarys: Prepossessing.

Lacey: SO CUTE!!

Juliana: Thanks girls! *checks her phone* the others are here. Gonna let them know where we are! *runs off*

Drayton: KiKi, don't be like that. She looked cool- *is hit in the face with the jacket he gave Juliana*

LOL YESSSS and Juliana would stand there all confused like "did I do something?" "Did I take the last one and now Kieran doesn't have one???" "Why is Kieran mad??"

Then he'd stubbornly try to find a way to tell her to keep his jacket "for a little while".

Kieran HATES how close Drayton acts with Juliana.

He especially hates the outfit Drayton gave her after she battled him again.

My related headcannons:

- Drayton is EXTREMELY good at reading people & likes to poke at others to confirm his suspicions.

- He figures out that edgy Kieran obviously has suppressed feelings for Juliana and flirts with her in front of him to get a rise out of him.

- Spoiler alert: it works. Every time. And it's the one thing that catches Mr. Edgy Kieran off gaurd.

- Drayton would also egg him on with "I don't get why you seem so mad? Unless she's your girlfriend or something, hmmm?"

- Juliana doesn't want to make assumptions about Kieran's feelings and instead fully believes he hates her in their "enemies" phase. Drayton, in turn, would believe Juliana is genuinely too innocent and oblivious.

When Kieran gets his first rotom phone, every other picture on it is of Juliana.

He also has no idea how to work the phone properly so when people (cough Drayton & Carmine cough) are looking over his shoulder for something related to his phone, he takes an embarrassing amount of time to try to x out of his pictures.

Drayton also makes this process harder because he keeps zooming in on said photos and teasing him. He'd also give Kieran the wrong advice on how to close the photo app. Carmine would start yelling at the both of them because Kieran would get physical with Drayton.

I love this headcannon because it IS cannon that Kieran has a whole reaction to seeing Juliana all dressed up. SOOO CUTEEEE

I absolutely love the thought of Drayton egging on Kieran's jealous streak regarding Juliana.

He especially loves it when it involves guys who aren't himself.

Juliana would often send the BB Academy crew pictures of herself with her other friends back in Paldea.

Cooking with Arven... Kieran knew how she saw him as a big brother figure, so no problems there.

Making music with Giacomo... Juliana often makes Playlists for Kieran, so he's looking forward to that.

Juliana having tea with Ortega... she often makes tea for Kieran to try and wants one of her friends to try it. No problems there!

Then we get to Atticus without his gear on! Kieran doesn't even read the texts, he's glaring Daggers at this "Mystery Guy" in the picture.

Then you got Drayton making it worse (bonus if he knows that it's Atticus)!

Drayton: Whoa! This guy's handsome, why hasn't Juliana managed to tell us about him before now?

Cue Kieran rushing to Paldea!

Kieran gets his growth spurt after Juliana gets hers.

He's easily quite flustered about it as Juliana happily looks up at him.

I strongly headcannon Kieran getting taller between the teal mask & indigo disk.

Kieran has mixed feelings about being taller, because Juliana feels...well...smaller. More delicate. Like something he should protect?

He also feels a need to be a little more dominate between these feelings and his need to prove himself.

Juliana obviously has concerns for his mental state but at the same time is deep down pretty into his newfound height & confidence LOL

Kieran really messing up his health due to a lack of sleep and suffering from a lot of migraines and dizzy spells.

Juliana ofc tries her best to help with them. She sits with him during dizzy spells to comfort him and just in case they get worse and he ends up fainting. (It's rare but sometimes it happens.) And during migraines she just kinda lets his hair down and gives him a full on head massage to make it better.

See I completely agree with this headcanon and yeah, Kieran's def gonna have a weakend immune system with a lack of sleep. Juliana would SO comfort him in this kind of way.

I FIND IT SO FUNNY BECAUSE JULIANA'S WINNING IN THE POLL RN FOR WHO'S GONNA BE SICK TROPE IN MY FIC LOL. Y'all really said "give us nurturing Kieran but make him angsty". Now I gotta think about how that dynamic would be at this stage in their relationship (although admitably, the fact that this is the less predictable/obvious outcome makes it a fun challenge)

Oh completely. Pet name/complimenting stuff is so easy for Juliana because she's just a natural sweetheart and isn't really thinking too hard about it. Kieran, on the other hand, is tripped up by her every word and it is magnified based on how many people are around. Bonus points if in front of Carmine or Drayton. 😂
