Nicholas looks up (from his position on the ground) in surprise. Normally he'd be wary of taking food from strangers, but after the insane night he just had? Fuck it. If it's poisoned, it's poisoned.

He took the offered sweets, feeling his mouth water.

"Thanks."

He's going to get some hard pounding back on the glass! See how he likes it! ....Ok it's not nearly as loud the other way around. Luckily while he can't talk while inside here, Which Elendira would be sure to make fun of him for if she found out, he can at least gesture in annoyance at the sealed lid on the tank, and all the other lab equipment. The meaning is clear.
