It was supposed to be a fairly normal day at the manor, and yet, the ENITRE mnaor began shaking rapidly as if an earthquake just striked. Everything was falling off, and it looked like the entire manor will collapse.

Suddenly, a monstrous, disembodied voice roared through the halls, deafening anyone too close to the source.

"HUMANITY IS A SIN"

Immediately, something appeared put of thin air, it's voice filled with hatred and anger..... tinted with sadness and pain.

"I WILL BURN EVERYTHING DOWN"

Somewhere in the manor…

There’s a small humming through the manor as a young, blonde-haired little girl walked through the empty halls. Cradling a red haired doll close to her chest, she paused as she came across the tall, fallen star. She blinked once, and then, twice. Then, smiling with a shimmer in her innocent green eyes, she greeted him.

“Hello mister! You kind of look like that nice man from my dreams! My name is Amy Bell!”

Extending her tiny hand out to the Fallen Star, she waited patiently.

Liam seemed taken aback by a familiar voice, turning to see a small child. He was pleasantly surprised to see her again.

“Amy? Is that you?”

He immediately bent down to her height, resulting in him practically squatting, but he hadn’t seen her in so long- he missed her.

“Oh, I haven’t seen you in so long.”

“Hello? Mr. Liam?” A head poked into the room cautiously. The quiet clicks and whirrs of clockwork being a dead give away to any form of stealth they wished to attempt. “I apologize for not being able to visit you sooner. It seems the manor couldn’t calm itself for too long.”

Liam turned around, raising a brow at the familiar voice.

“Hm? Miss Eleanor, is that you? Come in, come in.”

He got up from his seat, walking over and opening the door for her.

{The night of the ball}

The ballroom was for sure breathtaking, Phineas and his crew went all out this year with the decoration that it now felt more like a royal ball than just a simple wedding theme ball but again that is how Phineas is, always over the top~

Speaking of him, Liam and the others did not have to wait for long for the hosts themselves to finally show up and greet everyone at the ball. Saying something along the lines of “The Curtain rises, the spotlight is on you and the Grand ball of a lifetime awaits!” he said those lines while his eyes were gazing at Liam, clearly thinking of him when saying it.

After the whole greeting thing ended everyone could do as they wished at the ball now, everyone seemed to already enjoy their time. As for Liam, thankfully he didn't need to wait any longer for his partner for tonight to show up.

He saw Phineas make his way to him with a happy smile, so happy to see Liam be able to make it to the ball in time and even happier to see how Liam looked so beautiful and handsome with the dress and everything. Once he finally stands in front of him, he takes one of his hands and lands a gentle kiss on it.

“Liam! I am so glad you made it to the ball~ I must say you look quite dazzling and breathtaking in that beautiful dress of yours! Hahah~”

Liam raised a brow, smirking to himself when he saw Phineas look to his direction. It was as if they knew exactly what the other was thinking. In perfect sync, like two dance partners.

Liam stood up, smiling to Phineas as he let the other hold his hand and kiss it. With a light chuckle, he smiled to the other.

“Oh, you flatter me as always, Phineas.”

He bowed as well, holding the other’s hand and kissing it in return, only his kiss was slightly longer, as he took the time to close his eyes and rest his lips on the hand for a split second longer, before moving away.

“Thanks for bringing me along to this wonderful ball, by the way.”

Liam was minding his own business on the dining table before he heard the voice of the showman calling for him. When he turned around to face him he only saw a blue rose being handed to him all of the sudden by Phineas while he was sitting next to him with his head lying on his free hand.

“Is it a bad time to try and flirt with you~?”

“Oh? Bonjour, cher Phineas, ravi de vous voir.“ Liam never knew that the showman spoke French. He had learned a little from… someone he once knew, but the words flowed as easy as ever.

As he turned to look at him, his hands were suddenly surprised by the flower. A beautiful shade of blue. “Bad time? Oh, no. Hardly. I’m more than happy to be by your side.”

Liam’s tone changed from surprised, to slightly cheeky. He turned his whole body, resting his chin on his other hand, with the elbow of said hand on the table.

For a moment, he didn’t register the voice as being addressed to him, until he was hugged at the leg, at least.

He gently tucked his arms under her armpits, lifting her up.

Liam’s throat clenched, as he unknowingly fumbled with the knob of the drawer he had been peering into. He neglected to lock his room door quite often, and now just had to be one of those times. Elise had stumbled in just as he was looking at something, and he had shut it the very second she opened the door with a loud SLAM!

Clearly, the child had been curious on why Liam was suddenly so… secretive.

“I-I… It’s nothing.” He furrowed his brow, looking down. It seemed otherwise. Why was he so quick to shut it?
