"Cinderella 2150 | Cinderella Character Design Sheet"

Digital media made w/Clip Studio Paint . . . So last year, one of my last projects before graduating CSUF was something for my Digital Narrative Illustration class where I had to do a cyberpunk/futuristic version of a fairytale character and setting, and I had to do Cinderella! Well, I'm currently updating my character design portfolio and I thought it would be fitting to redo the character illustration part of this project because I could do better than a character just doing a basic standing pose 😅.

For this version of her, I wanted to make "Ella" the heiress of a small and modest but very impressive tech company that ends up in the hands of a larger mogul (and scheming crime-lord), who marries Ella's father before he inevitably dies and she and her daughters seize full control of the company, and reduce Ella to nothing more than a slave who works in a dangerous factory, "Cinder-Ella." With the help of the guardian sprite of one of the last living trees in this industrial dystopia, Ella transforms into a more confident and active woman and goes to the local ball to express herself and live out a reborn childhood fantasy, while also charming the young heir of a rival company.

Do want to make more things more things from this world and story, but maybe I should focus on something else before making another character sheet 😄.

Also, these aren't the original colors I made! I used Glaze and Nightshade so the colors got muddied up and I tried to correct it. Keep a look out on my Cara account later tonight for the original version!
