Okay, so, you know how I already have a Digimon x Twisted Wonderland AU called Digitwst, right? It focuses mainly on the freshman and takes the most inspiration from Adventure in terms of like, set up. It also has a prequel type thing about when Lilia was a kid and his adventures in the digital world along with Ray, the knight of Dawn.

This is neither of those. I think I’m just gonna go the 2020 reboot route for the name of the AU and just call it Digitwst: until I can find a better name for it but new Digimon x twst AU that has Lilia, Ray, Meleanor, Raverne, Leah and Henrick all as main characters, and it probably takes more cues from Xros Wars (not Hunters) than Adventure, though I’d probably need to rewatch Xros Wars/Fusion just in case.

Anyways! Partner lines!

Starting off with Lilia! Don’t mind the fact that he doesn’t have a picture, I gave up after the first two, anyway, in Digitwst proper, he has two partners, each of which represents Raverne and Maleanor respectively, however since those two are MCs in this AU, the partner distribution got split up, oh well. So because of the lack of Raverne influence on this line, Lilia’s partner is able to lean fully into the bat theming with Myotismon and NeoMyotismon (there’s a joke to be made here about book 7 spoilers)

I gave him Botamon because I didn’t want him and Ray to have the same Baby digimon, but I ended up giving Ray something other than a Poyomon, so, eh? Doesn’t really matter

Baul! Again, in Digitwst proper, Baul’s place is taken by a Hi-Commandramon, so that’s as good a reason as any, but the reason why is because 1) The War(™️) and 2) heheh, Dramon family. So yeah, that’s basically it

Raverne! I could’ve given him a Falcomon or something, but idk, I really liked the idea of giving him a DemiDevimon, so that’s why he has that, and Saberdramon felt like it’d be a good fit for the line, and again, Heheh, Dramon :)

Oh yeah btw Crowley is Raverne is canon simply because we know more about Crowley by virtue of him actually having screentime

Meleanor! This one was a no brainer, really. The only real thing of note is the Hydramon to cap off the line instead of the usual Breakdramon, and that’s because of Maleanor’s connections to briars and vines and such. Also side note butI don’t think that Groundramon has ever evolved into Hydramon before and that’s crazy to me because it’s SUCH a good fit, like seriously? Maybe in the new Time Seekers or something? Idk I’m very much an anime only (unless you count V-Tamers that one time lol)

Silver Owls time! Starting off with Ray, this is just the same exact line that he has in Digitwst proper, not much to say about it. Petitmon is here to really drive home the holy digimon vibes, also maybe probably future connection to Silver there too, so

Leah time!! “But Nami, isn’t Sistermon Blanche a rookie level? Why does she evolve from Lopmon?” You may be asking if you know that Sistermon Blanche is a rookie level off the top of your head, and to that I say, Sistermon Blanche makes an absolutely BANGING Lopmon evo, and digimon has been known to play around with digimon’s levels from time to time anyhow, so I think it fits. She doesn’t have a perfect level because I’m not entirely sure which direction to go in. I could go back to the fully rabbit theme and give her Antylamon (deva) OR I could commit to the human forms and give her Angewomon, which I like more BUT in Digitwst proper EPEL has an Angewomon, and while they’re different AUs, I don’t want to step on his toes too much

(Poor Epel btw, I first gave him a Salamon because I thought they’d look nice next to each other, then I really liked the fact that he had such an unapologetically cute/beautiful/feminine digimon, but then I started thinking about the Prequel and decided that their theme was going to be holy digimon, and now there’s an awkward connection there that exists NOWHERE in canon Twst lol. He’s wearing a sign that says “I know what it looks like but it’s just a COINCIDENTAL RESEMBLANCE to THOSE GUYS I PROMISE” lol)

So yeah, either one works, and I’m probably just gonna go with Angemon because Sistermon gives such a nice bridge to the human/angel aspect, and it’s not like this is Digitwst proper or anything, but idk

And finally, everyone’s least favorite bastard, Henrick. If he’s gonna be a Main Character in this AU, then he’s just begging for the “thinks it’s all a game/not real” archetype that sometimes shows up. Makes even more sense if this AU is gonna be partially based off Xros Wars because ✨Ewan✨ He’s getting dragged kicking and screaming through character development (AKA Meleanor. She is throwing hands. You cannot stop her)

Anyway, before I even decided to make this an actual AU (which was a little after Leah’s design came out btw) I thought it’d be fun if him and Leah had a Terriermon and Lopmon. Especially since in Digitwst proper, the Henrick stand in was a Cherubimon (virtue), and while sure, Cherubimon is a Lopmon evolution, it’s not like it’s a crazy mind blowing thing for a Terriermon to become one, so yeah! He also has a Shakkoumon bc idk, I just thought it’d fit

So yeah! That’s about it for now? For this post, at least. Probably a no one dies AU (AKA in the future Silver has all his parents, so does Mal. Don’t ask me about Sebek)

What would happen if someone finds a digiegg? I felt like Baal!Yuu would freak out because that's the Digimon equivalent of a newborn.

For this hypothetical situation, this is how it would go down...

So Baal!Yuu isn't the only one freaking out of the sudden appearance of a digiegg

ALL the digimon on NRC campus are freaking out

The students and staff understand why, and panicking a little themselves

Of course a meeting between the dorm leaders and staff as to who is best suited to take care of the egg

Crowley is voted out for obvious reasons

Baal!Yuu and Lowemon don't feel like they're the best caretaker

So now it comes down to the other dorms and the staff

There is a lot of arguing

Mostly between Lilithmon and Leona

Octomon tried to steal the egg before being stopped by the Pawn Chessmon twins

The staff and the others trying to calm them down

During which the digiegg went missing

Ensue panic and questioning where the egg went

Spoiler: Matadormon stole it, why? He took Lilia's advice when he asked how to deal with the digiegg

Ideas That Never Went Anywhere

Now that 2025 is here, I'd like to go over some rough drafts, outlines, etc that I could never make work. This is gonna be a long one, so long that it might be split into two pieces.

Spoilers for multiple franchises under the cut

Dragon Prince X Warhammer 40k Lost Primarch fic. The 2nd Primarch lands in Xadia after the Season 7 finale, and is raised by Callum and Rayla. He eventually meets his brothers (Sanguinius, Horus and Russ) who seek to "free him" from Xenos brainwashing. They capture him, bring him to The Emperor l, who sets him straight. After a few decades, the guilt of destroying his home causes him to snap, and turn to Chaos. Eventually, he becomes Belakor. No one learns anything.

Palworld/Pokemon crossover. A Trainer and his Pokemon land on the Palpagos Islands and have to battle just to survive. The story would've gone over the differences and similarities between the two franchises. Would've ended with Trainer being caught in a Palsphere and taken too be sold. After killing Marcus Dryden.

Warhammer 40k Sanguinius fic that focused on his relationship with his brothers, sons, The Emperor, and the Imperium as a whole. The goal was to focus on Sangy's fear of being erased like the ii and xi. He would've realized that as horrible as the Great Crusade is, it really is humanity's best shot at survival.

Fate Grand Order/Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fic. Would've focused on Godfrey being Ritsuka's Blade. Not too many changes to story, aside from sparing Kadoc his beating at Dounan's hands.

Twisted Wonderland/Hellaverse Fic. Dorms are located in the Seven Rings. (Ex. Heartslabyul would've been in the Pride Ring, Savanclaw in the Sloth Ring etc.) Much darker than both shows. Ends with Riddle achieving a WIERD hybrid of his Overblot form and a "full demon" mode akin to Lucifer's.

Fate Grand Order Au that involved a version of Chaldea dealing with "Fragments" of Singularities that didn't properly form. Much more limited main cast with focus on romance between Servant and Master OC. Ends with battle against the Titan Cronos.

Digimon/Twisted Wonderland crossover. Not too much planned out for this one, aside from the biomerging between Phantom and Digimon. Also most of the Partner Digimon. (Ie. Riddle would've gotten Impmon, Vil Gumdramon and Leona Lalamon)

May I ask what Baal!Yuu does during the Halloween event with the Magicam Monsters and the Endless Halloween event?

Okay then. Here's what happens during the Halloween Events in my AU.

Part 1: Screaming Halloween Show

Baal!Yuu had heard of Halloween, a holiday celebrated in both Real and the Digital world, from what they've heard digimon like using the opportunity to materialize and join humans in the holiday

Personally they haven't had the need to experience the holiday itself, much to some of the other students, digimon, and ghosts' shock

So instead of staying inside of Ramshackle like they planned, to avoid the noise as they researched a way home, Grim and the other ghost basically shoved them out and forced them to have the Night Raven College Halloween experience

Honestly, they were enjoying themselves

No one was scared of them, the costume looked amazing, and in general they were having fun

Even the digimon were having fun with the event

But then, the Magicam Monsters came...

All the digimon were angry at them for ruining the fun for both them, the other guests, and their human partners

Baal!Yuu, while upset for a similar reason, was also upset for trying to break into their home and their insistence on "getting pictures with a cool cosplayer"

If not for Lilia and Silver they would have hexed and blasted them to high hell

So when the digimon heard the party might be cancelled and the students plan to deal with these "Magicam Monsters" they were all in

While all the digimon helped their respective partners, Baal!Yuu and Grim decided to "haunt" the hallways

Baal!Yuu was naturally scary, all they had to do was pretend to be a demon that would steal your soul

They won't ever admit it, but Baal!Yuu was enjoying themselves as they made the intruders scream to the heavens

After the night of terror, they were able to enjoy Halloween party with all the others

Of course, Baal!Yuu couldn't have predicted what would happen next

Part 2: Endless Halloween Night

Malleus: So that's why we're here.

Baal!Yuu: Malleus, just why?

Malleus: ?

Baal!Yuu: I understand but you can't cast a spell to have an endless night just to throw a last minute Halloween party?

Malleus: But I've sent invitations and it won't cause anybody harm. Plus, wouldn't it be fun to have one last party before Halloween ended?

Baal!Yuu: That would've been fine, but you didn't tell anybody, you kidnapped the Halloween committee, and you let ghosts possess them for party entertainment.

???: WHAT!?!?!

Baal!Yuu: Yggdrasil dammit, you even kidnapped their partners.

Baal!Yuu is not amused

First Grimm dragged them here when they were trying to sleep, then they had to deal with the bombshell that Malleus just dropped when they decided to wake up from their nap, now they had to deal with the angry digimon that just learned what happened to their human friends

Luckily, they were able to calm them down a bit before the other students arrived to confront the "possessed" Lilia and Malleus

Well, at least the party was fun and, hopefully, Malleus learned their lesson

For their first Halloween this was the most fun the had in a while

Maybe they should celebrate Halloween more often

At first, the TWST survivors sticked together, jumping from world to world while also avoiding the glitch if it ever appears. But then, in one world during an intense storm, the group tried to run away from the glitch and its minions but they ended up being separated from one another. Once they realized this, it was too late to turn around and regroup; each one of them jumped into separate worlds.

Luckily, they either were found by other survivors or gathered their own survivor group, and in this apocalypse it’s best if they stay together with these groups.

Chris (Wild Kratts), Ingo (Legends Arceus), and Sneasler found Azul behind some bushes, sitting there and sobbing, though when he found out he was spotted, he quickly changed his act to his usual persona. Though he doesn’t want to admit it, to basically latched onto them rather quickly. He sticked by Chris and Ingo, staying by their side no matter where they go. Though he still shows off his usual self to them, boasting about how grateful they are to have a benevolent soul like him, his boasting somewhat annoys Chris and Ingo but they tolerate it none or less. Even Sneasler took a liking to Azul, showing her affection such as patting his head or nuzzling his cheek. Overtime, Chris and Ingo start to notice that Azul’s persona is cracking, showing bits and pieces of a scared and vulnerable Azul, which worries them. At some point, Azul did open up to them about his feelings; despite everything, he’s still not over the loss of his beloved eels, Jade and Floyd. He remembers their loss very clearly, with Floyd being the first after trying to squeeze a corrupted victim, only to become one himself, and witnessing Jade being snatched by the glitch, his final words burned into his mind “Run Azul! Don’t look back!”. Jade and Floyd mean everything to him, the only people who ever gave a damn about him, and that glitch took them away. It was clear to Chris and Ingo that Azul is actually emotionally vulnerable, he relied on those eels for support, no wonder he was so attached to them. Chris and Ingo hugged Azul, they feel sorry for his loss, they know what it’s like to lose someone they hold dear (for Chris, it’s Martin, and for Ingo, it’s Emmet, the brother he just now remembers and feels guilty not knowing sooner). But they promise to stay by his side no matter what and support him. Needless to say, Azul gained himself two fathers that night...and a pet Pokemon.

Ruggie stumbled across Jordan (The Ballad of Little Jo), Susie (Deltarune), and Frisk (Undertale) as they try to make through an episode of a western show. Ruggie did follow them as they hopped through worlds but just close behind them, debating if he should tag along or not, until Susie sensed someone was behind them and attacked with her axe, scaring Ruggie and revealing himself to the group. After he explains his situation, Jordan tells him to come along, Ruggie asks what he’s getting in return and Jordan simply tells him “to survive this hell”. Ruggie would find himself being rather useful at times, using his Unique Spell “Laugh With Me” to get them out of tight spots. What Ruggie did not expect was to form a familial bond with them, especially Jordan. He sort of looks up to him as a dad, surprised by how kind he is with him. He did tell Jordan about this and how he doesn’t exactly have a father, he just got up and left. Jordan was surprised by this, but he accepted it, this boy deserves to have an actual father figure in his life. As for Susie and Frisk? They’re sort of like siblings to him.

Trey heard the cries of a small child followed by the nagging of another coming from a bush. Upon peeking, he finds My Melody and Kuromi hiding in a bush. Trey knew he can’t just let them wonder alone, so he took the two (despite Kuromi flailing and protesting). He looks after the two as if they were his kids, generally from his experience looking after his siblings. If he stumbles across a bakery in any world, he would always treat them. My Melody looks up to Trey, she appreciates his kindness, though Kuromi is rather cynical towards him, always talking back to him in sarcastic tones and causing trouble. She doesn’t say it, but Kuromi owes Trey for basically saving her life from this glitch.

Epel bumped into Gumdramon while running from the glitch, the two had to run together and escape to another world. Once they did, Epel has SOOOO many questions on who and what Gumdramon is. Gumdramon answers these with pride and tells him he’s carrying on the legacy of the Digimon King Shoutmon and his former partner Tagiru, holding his Xros Loader as proof. Epel explains his situation and mentions how he misses Jack and hopes that he finds him again, Gumdramon cheers him up by saying that he’ll find his friends eventually, they can’t be that far. They would venture these worlds together and would find themselves developing and growing as time passes. Epel slowly learns how to be strong, how to defend himself against threats, and Gumdramon maturing and becoming stronger himself. The two would develop a friendship between each other, becoming close enough to the point Gumdramon could be considered Epel’s partner. The two would face off against the glitch with all they have, but a part of them hopes they find someone soon, or else it won’t take long before the glitch catches them.

Veronica (Heathers) and Michael (Be More Chill) were in a tight spot, the glitch was starting to corner them, and they don’t have a lot of ammo left. It looked like it was the end…until all of the sudden, a large silver wolf leaps to their side, gesturing the two to get on his back. The wolf quickly whisks them away from the scene and takes them to a far away spot. They were surprised to find out that this wolf was a guy, being Jack. They were shocked and immediately asked questions like “how did you do that?”, “is that a thing you can do?” and Michael specifically asked “bro are you a furry?”. He explains his Unique Spell to them but also tells them why he rescued them; he saw the glitch and heard their voices behind a large pile of the glitch, he would feel extremely guilty if he didn’t jump in. Veronica and Michael are grateful that he did and they let him tag along, after all, he’s also a survivor and it’s best to stick by anyone they find. He becomes good friends with the two, being the voice of reason between the hot shot, has seen hell and lived, Veronica, and the dude bro nerd with anxiety, Michael.

Zhongli, in his forced long journey from the glitch, did not expect someone else to follow him after all this time. He could tell Rook hailed from another world than his own, from the way he dressed to the language he speaks. Rook merely followed him because he was interested in who or what Zhongli is; what kind of magic he possesses? Is he human? Fae? Or something else from another world? Rook HAS to know! Zhongli tolerates Rook’s presence, even asking him questions about himself and his world.

Out of everyone, Riddle has it the hardest when it comes to survival. Sure he gives the glitch what for by casting his fire magic or using Off With Your Head, but he feels like that isn’t enough, he can’t use his magic forever, that’ll just risk him to Overblot again. So as he jumps through worlds, there’s two things on his mind; how to survive and how to get Trey and the others back. One of the first things he did was something he never thought he would do; tamper with his dorm uniform. He knew just having his cape be this long would result in him being an easy target, so by taking a pair of scissors, he cut his cape short and used his rose pin to keep it on his shoulders (he saved the other half). Overtime, Riddle started to adapt to the lifestyle of jumping from world to world, fighting off against the glitch with his magic and all the weapons he’s gathered, and try to escort people away from their doom. Throughout his time, Riddle was alone, if he wanted anyone else by his side, it would be Trey, but that changed when someone else jumped in and defended Riddle from a corrupted victim’s attack. The first thing Riddle noticed was the markings on his body, the black with cyan outlines forming unusual patterns, it was Demi Fiend who defended him. They worked together to fend off these foes and after that they ran off into another world. Though Riddle is thankful Demi Fiend did that for him, he asked him why, in a stern and hushed tone, he tells him that just looking at him and how he fights, he could tell he’s getting weak, the exhaustion of constantly fighting is getting the best of him, so he simply jumped in to make things easier. Riddle was offended that he called him weak, but Demi Fiend clarified he’s not taking about his abilities, more so his stamina. He knows a thing or two about fighting foes, he has a lot of experience fighting demons and commanding said demons, so he advises Riddle to stick by him or else he’ll perish. Riddle hesitated, but he accepts it none or less. They become a tag team, fighting off foes together and backing each other up when needed, Riddle does learn some techniques from Demi Fiend, which helps a lot. Though Riddle is slowly starting to crumble under the sheer pressure of a lot of things; missing Trey, the guilt of being an utter failure of a Dorm Leader, not being able to save Cater, Ace, and Deuce, the fact he HAS to ignore the Queen of Hearts rules, and simply wanting things to go back the way it was. Demi Fiend isn’t exactly the kind of person who’s supportive of others, he basically lost most of it because all his friends gained god complexes for the sake of rewriting reality, but he tries his best to comfort Riddle in those moments. All he can really do is sit by his side and be there for him.

When Jamil appeared in Cookie Run Ovenbreak’s Story Mode, he did not expect to find someone who’s in a similar position to him, being Lilac Cookie, a servant to an oblivious ruler, just seeing Yogurt Cream Cookie reminds him of Kalim. Though it didn’t take long for Lilac to find HIM as he sensed someone was near and attacked Jamil, though Lilac was not expecting to be facing someone who’s almost as big as the fabled witches. Ultimately, they, and later on Scorpion Cookie, find themselves facing against the glitch, corrupting the world and taking as many victims as possible. They came face to face with the corrupted Kalim and Yogurt Cream Cookie, using them to guilt trip them of their failures, Lilac Cookie almost fell for it, but Jamil made sure he didn’t, assuring him it’s a trap. They managed to escape the corrupted world and now Jamil has two cookies on his side. They hide in the shadows, lurking around whatever world they land in, if the glitch invades, they’re cautious on their actions and plan on what to do; do they run or do they try to fight back? Surprisingly, Jamil learned some skills from Lilac and Scorpion, they taught him some fighting moves and how to use weapons similar to theirs. Jamil is pretty close to Lilac, since they can both relate to following cheerful/prideful people. But with everything he told him, Lilac feels bad for Jamil, at least he follows Yogurt Cream out of trust and respect, but for Jamil’s case it was through force, he didn’t ask to be tied to Kalim all because his family are servants to him.

As for Lilia and Malleus? They decided to just wonder through these worlds, more focused on finding the others than gather survivors.
