1. A dream that you still remember?

So many of them. One childhood dream is a big red dinosaur eating the house Godzilla-style. And we suddenly had an attic to hide in. Very weird. It was a recurring one too. 

2. What job did you want to do when you were younger?

I wanted to be a professional clown. I wish I was kidding. 

3. And now? Did it has changed?

Yes! I’d love to be a teacher and even more ideally own an animal shelter. 

4. A favorite game?

Stardew valley. I have it over 3 platforms and have hundreds of hours in. 

5. Where did you have traveled? (Either it’s in your country or not)

I live in Belgium, which is a tiny ass country so I’ve seen most of it. I’ve been to the Netherlands, France, UK (London mainly), Austria, Italy, Germany, Thailand, China, Hong Kong... 

6. Did you have a totem animal/a favorite animal?

Foxes are my absolute favorite! 

7. Did you/Do you have a teddy bear to help you to sleep? How it was looking?

I had a dog which is my childhood plush and now I have another dogplush.  

8. THE animated (or not) serie of your childhood/teenage years?

A handful of Belgian series as well as fairly odd parents, my life as a teenage robot and Atla. 

9. Do you have anime/series/movie/whatever things merch?

So much! I have a lot of manga, many plushies, a handful of T-shirts, and some figurines. 

10. How was your day?

A bit of a mess so far! But I’m gonna take a nice long shower and get some lunch and get productive! Thanks for asking love, I hope you have a wonderful day!!

1. What is your favourite book?.

Changes all the time: in no particular order, my current favorites are: Will my cat eat my eyeballs - Caitlin Doughty, It - Stephen king, Everything is fucked - Mark Manson. 

2. What is you most loved item and why?

Super Superficial, but my phone: its my connection to my friends, the outside world, my safe space and everything keeping me sane. 

3. If you got the chance to travel to another planet (knowing you would never see your friends or family again) would you do it?

Probably not, most planets aren’t really suitable for living (yet) and I can’t do without seeing my friends for too long. I lived across the world for a year and while it was an amazing experience, the missing people was the worst thing. 

4. One song that makes you cry?

For the love of a daughter - Demi Lovato

5. Do you believe in supernatural stuff? Ghosts and Monsters and Fairies? Any experiences with it?

No experiences, but on the fence on believing. I believe mother nature is extraordinary, and that there are many tings we have not explained. Are those ‘supernatural’ per se? Probably not. 

6. What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever witnessed or had happen to you?

So many things. Saying stuff I’d say to the toddlers I babysit to some grownup people at work. Or wanting to make small talk about something I had supposed which was completely wrong. 

7. What one thing would you buy if you had the money?

A big house with a barn to turn into a shelter for all kinds of pets. 

8. What is your worst habit/personality trait?

Nail biting. Interrupting people when I get excited. Being a bit of a know-it-all. 

9. If you could alter your body with one cool feature, what would it be? (camera eyes, monkey tail, etc)

Wings probably. Or hair that changes color without me having to dye it.

10. Do you have the patience to play a full game of Monopoly with no breaks?

Depending on the company, yes.

1. First anime ever watched?

Inuyasha! Looking forward to the comeback. Well that was the first one I watched consciously knowing it was anime. Before that Digimon. 

2. Accomplishment you’re most proud of?

Spending a year abroad, being 100% self sufficient.

So many. At the moment. Adele, Lady Gaga, Slipknot, Set it Off and Three days Grace. Oh and all of Broadway. 

4. If you were to lose a toe, which one would it be and why?

Big one. I need the pinky one for balance. My grandpa doesn’t have his big toes anymore and is fine. 

5. Horror fan? Which movie is your fave?

Yes! It’s been a while though. I think the conjuring is my favorite.

Mosquito. Why do they need to sting me? Annoying fuckers.

Mind reading. I’d stop second-guessing people’s thoughts.

English. I study languages. But I do actually love Math.

New Digimon Adventure merch from China to look out for: Bento Box plushies!

Came across a tweet by an anime screenwriter about how he had recently worked on a script for a Chinese stage play adaptation of Digimon Adventure which opened in Shanghai this week.

He shared a few photos from the opening in Shanghai.

Did some digging around and found captures from the play itself posted by the production company on Weibo.

Set and costume design for a show like Digimon can be extremely difficult to replicate in stage plays but they've done such a good job at it!

The actors who are part of the cast also uploaded photos on their Weibo accounts. I won't share them all here, since I am not familiar with the etiquette for reposting celebrity pictures from Chinese social media posts on other sites. I'll add the photos shared by Official accounts that I could find, and some generic watermarked photos from the cast accounts which I will link at the bottom of the post.

Merch being sold at the screening includes some cute stickers, some figurines and what seem to be matching Digi beanies for you and your cat!

Sorry for such a long post and intensive photo dump. I just feel so comforted by China's passion to keep the love for og Digimon Adventure alive, always perks up my mood when they come out with new content!

The new Digimon merch pop-up shop in China has a life size Adventure Taichi and Koromon plush display and a life size Reboot Taichi and Agumon figure display like :

Oh to be a Taichi stan living in China....when will it be my turn 😔

They've also got some really cool merch line up as always.

A few things that I loved and am gonna try and source from AliExpress are:

This merch of the 25th Anniversary illustrations done by Yoshimi Miyoshi and fuzichoco

The acrylic stand version of previously released plushes of Adventure kids with their in training babies

Digimon Food Adventure series which was previously released as mini acrylic stands and cushions, now getting omamori style straps

And the super popular costume figurine series getting turned into straps

And that's a wrap on Digimon Con 2024!

It lived up to it's past versions where it was used as a platform to discuss various information already teased beforehand, with some exciting news for Digimon TCG and other parts of the franchise that don't get to shine in DigiFes due to the latter being an animation focused event.

The hosts mentioned several times, that look forward to the summer event, which means that we can expect new stuff to come out of DigiFes 2024.

I also liked how they didn't avoid the question about a new Digimon Game and just gave a vague answer like it's under development, at least we know something is in the works lol.

Agumon Real Time Talk was the highlight for me, Sakamoto san earnestly tried to connect with all Digimon fans around the world and that was really fun to watch.

The 25th Anniversary Digivice was also a really cool announcement. It's not just a prop anymore but actually functional with a lot of fun additions, the voice acting, anime music and scenes are particularly additions that I liked. Taichi and Yamato versions were expected, but I like how Piyomon's VA immediately shouted about where is the Sora Version, she's keeping it real for the rest of us who do like the other kids too!

I wish they'd shared more details about the Manga platform and Novel competition, I feel like that part was sort of glazed over without much details but just a "hey this is happening", okay cool but what exactly will it entail? Considering that they use this event to share the information, this announcement felt more like a tweet which will be elaborated later on.

The Card Game segment was the most exciting I feel, though I'm not well versed in TCG at all. New Digimon being revealed + live reading chapter 00 of Digimon Liberator was pretty cool. They also shared that Liberator will have a web comic and a novel, each will feature different protagonists and stories, the hosts contemplated amongst themselves whether the two different protagonists would get a chance to meet each other...?

I also liked them showing off all the China exclusive products at the end, always good to end the show with more fomo for foreign fans lmao.

As an Adventure only fan, I guess I have to look forward to DigiFes and the 25th Anniversary Exhibition planned for summer for any real news, for now all the new merch and collabs will suffice.
