Wolf and Man was pounding into your ears, your senses blurring from the thrill of it all. You were watching Robert and Kirk run circles around each other, and you smiled at how silly these old men could be, like they were being kids again. You felt eyes burning into the side of your head and just 100 feet away was James, staring you down in a fierce manner. He didn't break eye contact as his tongue darted out to lick his bottom lip, he was hypnotizing. Your smile fell slowly as your lips parted, lost in his sultry glare. One of the spotlights fell on him so perfectly; you could see every beautiful outline and shadow of this masterfully sculpted man; his sweat covering his skin with a thin sheen. The massive screen behind the band was focused on him, and you saw up close how his eyes were clouded with something more than lust, a wolfish need, like he wanted to tear you apart, make you squeal, savor every inch of your skin. Something you had dreamed of ever since walking through the venue door and saw him in his vest and tank top. He smirked at you as he played the last few notes of the song and brought his tank to his mouth to wipe the sweat off his upper lip, the drops glittering his silver hair no more. The crowd screamed and clapped as the men gave their thank-yous and till-next-times.

The bag and ticket checks were brutal, and you started to wonder if this was a bad idea. Meeting Metallica seemed like a good idea in retrospect, yes, but now your anxiety was getting the best of you. Your palms were sweaty, your heart was racing, and your mouth was dry as the Sahara. The bottle of water sitting in your bag suddenly came back to mind as you snatched it from its pocket and tried to take off the cap. Your hand was shaking, making it difficult. You finally managed to get it off and sipped it for the next few minutes. Jesus Christ, was meeting 4 60-year-old men this fucking stressful? Some quick self-reflection brought you the idea that meeting Rob, Kirk, and Lars was exhilarating, but not stress-inducing. Meeting James was your main problem. It wasn't really a problem, he was just your favorite of the band, whether for his look or his playing, you didn't know, but you had chalked it up to a fair 50/50. This was a problem you were excited to have. Some parts of you were more excited than others, but you pushed that thought to the very recesses of your brain. If you had the scenario of screwing a man old enough to be your dad in the back of your head, it would definitely make its way into your conversation, which was more or less bound to get you a weird look and a premature "it was nice meeting you!" But God, his stare made you anxious in all the right ways and you just couldn't stop thinking of him staring into your soul as he chased you down, captured you, and made you his. You snapped out of your little thought bubble as you neared the platform. James was shaking the hand of a middle-aged man, someone you guessed was a father because of the 5-ish-year-old girl standing at his feet, holding onto the bottom of her father's shirt. James squatted down so he could be eye-level with the girl, and you instantly knew that he looked differently at others. He had reserved that stare just for you. Your brain ran rampant with the possibility that he might actually just want you, and that he wasn't generally so domineering and intense, but just when he saw you. In fact, his eyes returned to what you thought a 60-year-old's should look like, soft and sweet, teddy-bear-ish. He shook her tiny hand, and she shook it back and moved in for a hug. You couldn't blame her; he looked like just about the most huggable person there. He laughed as he closed her arms around her, telling the dad that it was okay after he tried to apologize and pull her away.

"Be good for your dad, okay," he asked, almost commanded as he straightened her jacket, ruffled from the embrace. He gave her one last smile as she nodded and walked off with her dad. The attendant ushered you forward as James picked up his water and took a sip at the same time you did. When he tilted his head back down, he saw you staring at his battle vest, or more importantly the tank top covering his chest and tummy. God, his tummy was hotter from up close. He caught you staring, and your faced burned with embarrassment.

"You like it?"

Your breath caught in your throat at his raspy tone.

"What?"

He laughed and set the bottle down on the table behind him. He gestured you to the chairs and table set up on the platform, probably decades-old wood that squeaked when you settled into it.

"My jacket, you like it? Saw you starin' at it, figured it interested you."

He was subtly fucking with you, letting you know he had caught you staring at his tummy, imagining it colliding with your back as he drove deeper and deeper into you, owning you. He had known that you were awe-struck by the idea ever since he saw you staring back during Wolf and Man. He had all the confirmation he needed.

"Oh, yeah, it's an awesome vest! I have one like it, just not as many patches. It's also a little less worn; I just bought it and started adding stuff about a week ago, actually."

He smiled and leaned back. The angle allowed his tank top to stretch tighter across his stomach; allowed his vest to cling to his shoulders, accentuating how broad he was. You involuntarily inhaled through your nose like it was the last sniff of oxygen you'd ever get. You'd tried your best not to gasp, that would for sure get his attention. He smirked.

"I know you're not here to talk about vests. I can tell something's on your mind. C'mon I have 3 kids, I can tell when something's wrong by poorly masked facial expressions," he joked, and you softened, comforted by his willingness to peer into your thoughts.

It is I! Again! Sorry I kinda disappeared, life's been hectic and I couldn't really think of many Bandit questions, hell I still can't... I'm coming to you with just two questions on my mind: Firstly, the last time I doodled Bandit I kinda like? Subconsciously drew his left eyebrow with a little cut in it, simply because it made sense in my brain not because you actually draw him this way (unless I'm going insane and you do and I'm going completely mad then oopsies!!!) so it's making me wonder, are there any specific stylizations/characterizations in fanart that you're not a fan of? I'm not asking you to be a hater or discriminatory or anything I'm just curious if you'd rather not have Bandit be drawn a certain way!! I know it's kinda a stupid question... Secondly, if you had to pick primarily of the OFF OST to associate with Bandit, which one would you pick and why? (I try to associate one OFF track with every one of my Elsen OCs personally,,, I think it's fun) That's all for right now! Completely neglected to answer this! My bad! I can't think of any stylizations of Bandit that I dislike, I actually really enjoy when people play around with his design. I've commonly seen different hair styles and different clothing, but I just adore seeing him interpreted in different art styles in general. As for characterizations, one of the most common things I've seen fans depict Bandit with is Smoking.. and I just don't see it. Nothing against that (other than like,, real life health risks) but smoking never really made sense to me in the context of the OFF universe in the first place. I don't think tobacco is a thing there, and people get smoke from mines anyway.. meh, that's me being petty tho. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the art that also happens to have him smoking.

That second question is hard, because I legitimately cannot pick a piece from the original OST that really fits him. Maybe I'm used to associating those pieces with the characters and environment they're already for, but I just don't see Bandit fitting anything. Apologies for the slight cop-out, my mind is just blank.

MHA X SHADOWS HOUSE

Living Doll!Oboro and Shadow!Kurogiri because i said so

(Why is oboros hair so light 😔(also ignore the lack of shoes ok)

This is kinda weird since i feel like these 2 fandoms have literally never met but i did it anyway!!

I didnt really change much in terms of design for kurogiris shadows look, just tried to make it look more fancy and European-ish, i wanted to add a tailcoat but i'd already finished the whole thing so i gave it up.

Kurogiri in this au doesnt have his whole misty body thing, but his soot would make him look similar to canon. His soot is very fine and speards outwards in all directions, getting finer amd lighter at the edges (like mist haha). Other than making him look bigger and being hard to breath next to him, it makes cleaning a hassle for Oboro, especially since it never stops spreading. And while his soot is voluminous, it's quantity is only a bit higher than average when condensed.

I almost forget about soot powers woops, obviously portals and teleportation wouldnt be possible in this AU, so Kurogiri's soot power wouls be the equivalent to Canon!Oboro's quirk, in that he is able to produce soot "clouds" that are good for blocking vision, making hard to breath, and storing things in them depending on the size and density of the "cloud". It wouldnt be the first time he and Oboro used it for silly pranks and hiding things from the star bearers.

I also feel like as much as Oboro is outgoing, shadow!kurogiri would inherit his more subdued qualities. He would be kind, compassionate and definitely have mom friend tendencies. He also likes taking care of others (group leader of shadow!LOV maybe?), and sulks when oboro comes in everyday because he wants to help with chores. (Oboro does encourage this eventually because he is a lazy bumTM and wants less work)

While different, they are essentially reflections of each other (and thats the nice way of putting it), so they get along very well! I also think they would be friends even with the brainwashing undone. (Also i headcanon that animals HATE shadows with every fiber of their being and run away if they're in a 5m radius, and even though there is no way Grandfather(AFO?) allows them on his property, they still still get to pet (and stare at) a cute (badly colored) ginger cat :D )

And in this AU, Oboro's nose bandage would be more important than it (supposedly) is in canon, because it hides a scar along the bridge of his nose that he got on a rainy day. Its not an actual bandage tho because that is gross. It just looks like the one Kurogiri first gave him after he was treated. The scar isnt huge like Barbie's, and really the two arent important enough (or annoying enough to Edward) that Oboro would be sabotaged, but it definitely set him back from being nominated for the Unification.

Speaking of the Unification, if i were to make this AU resemble canon as much as possible, then Kurogiri and Oboro would have successfully Unified (iykyk). But thats up to you really.

As of writing this i'm really considering making the rest of the LOV as shadows (especially Toga if only to put her in the girliest dress i can find and also because her quirk would make a perfect soot power)

Hey. Semi-Serious post here. I'm gonna be quite frank, this is about the death of a real animal. My animal.

The one I made the dedication of WCR!Into The Wild for. Because the wounds are still so raw that I can barely get through typing this very sentence without feeling choked up. So... If this post isn't for you, enjoy the first cat picture, the rest will be under the cut.

Meet Cleo.

She was my best friend. I moved into her home when I was a child, and her being there got me through the ensuing abusive situation I'd found myself in. I quickly became her favorite person. She was always there for me, and I was always there for her. I read Warriors books to her.

I met someone online that I fell in love with, and planned to have them move here. I worried about Cleo, who was now getting on in her years, but still healthy and strong.

I was granted full, effective ownership of her, since she was never really registered with a breeder. An oopsie, runt of the litter kitten of a genuine bred Maine Coon, unknown father.

Plan fell through, immigrating to Canada is difficult and the economy was about to fall apart. So I made the choice to move to the UK.

I was then informed that I could not take Cleo with me, they said she was too old, and that the plane ride would be too much for her. She was roughly 14/15 years old and, again, healthy. This next part is hard to write.

I spent every day after that, for a year, spending as much time as she wanted with me. She got every cuddle and snuggle she wanted.

I still remember that last time I ever saw her, the night I left the country. I held her like a baby, because she liked that. I remember what the back of her neck smelled like (warm chocolate). I rubbed her belly, and whispered to her that I loved her, and promised to come back again and see her. Then I placed her on her favorite spot on the back of the chair, and left.

I got regular updates from my mom about her, but something was clear. When I was on the phone, I was not to call out to her, because when I did, it made her search the whole house, meowing and calling out for me, looking for me. The dogs never did that, just Cleo.

4 months away from home, she started peeing in... Odd places. Visible places. Like... Middle of the living room and on bathroom rug.

Mind you, she used to do that in front of her litter box as a protest when it wasn't clean enough for her liking. But... Not like that.

Other than that, normal behavior.

Then, about 6 months in, she started being weird with food. Still demanded it, of course, but... Wouldn't eat it. Mind you, there were times when she really was just happy to have the wet food there... And then go off and eat her kibble as if she hadn't just acted like she would die without her wet food. Typical, right?

After a week straight, and not much kibble eaten, it... Was concerning. I offered my mom to cover the cost of any medical bills she would need, but was told to not be 'ridiculous', that she was too old. That she didn't need a vet, that nothing would help.

7 months in. July 7th, 2023. Ordinary day, kinda fun, sunny out, a relaxing day where I wasn't looking at my phone much. My partner gets a text from my mom asking if I am around. I get a call from my mom.

She hadn't eaten in days. She wasn't in her box anymore. She was barely drinking. All her chub was gone, leaving my poor girl at only 5 pounds. A fraction of her weight.

My mom was not calling me to say goodbye. Goodbye had already been said. And I wasn't there.

I asked if my mom could bury her, so at the very least I could have something to visit when I got home.

To get Cleo's body back, it would have cost 200 dollars. She would be cremated, and her ashes not given back either. Gone.

The older woman next to me later said she had never, in all her years, heard a person wail and scream the way I had. I barely remember it, or anything after that. The grief is so bad that I feel chest pains, and my throat will close, I could cry myself hoarse still, just from thinking about her.

On one hand I don't want to feel this way anymore. On the other I feel horrific guilt about that, about wanting to "move on". I hate that term, it needs something new. Moving on isn't forgetting about them, it just means it doesn't hurt as badly anymore, but... What does THAT mean?

OKAY PERFECT IT'S 1AM AND I CANT SLEEP SO I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE

spoilers under the cut if anyone hasn't read it yet and wants to remain surprised

so in the original ending i had gadreel as one of lucifer's hired men rather than a detective (there's a leftover detail of that in one of sam's pov chapters where jody holds up a mugshot of gadreel. gotta change that still oopsie daisy). i was going to have cas leave the lighthouse, then come back to the lighthouse upon the threat of gadreel being there and holding dean at gunpoint or something idk

and then basically cas and dean have a showdown with gadreel at the lighthouse, they do a cute murder, and dean washes gadreel's body away with the tide. the storm comes and they decide that they can't stay - they have to go on the run since lucifer/lucas knows where cas is. dean decides to go with cas.

SO THE REASON i didn't like this ending about 75% into writing the draft (💀) was because i really liked the theme of choice and freedom that was emerging through the fic - with dean feeling as if he's trapped in the lighthouse and has no other choice juxtaposed with cas feeling as if he has to be on the run and has no other choice. it felt much more meaningful for dean to choose to leave the lighthouse not under duress but because he chooses it for himself. annnd with cas returning to the lighthouse and deciding to face his fate not because of dean being in danger (i mean he thinks that at first because im a jerk and wanted to throw in one last red herring) but because he simply wants to be with dean and chooses to stop running and simply live his life the way HE wants to live it - that felt more significant to me.

so with cas choosing to stay with dean, and dean choosing to leave with cas, it just felt like the perfect symmetry for them 🫶

also the murder thing just kinda soured the plot to me, too - i wanted to give them some softness. although the idea of cas going COMPLETELY feral at dean being hurt and held at gunpoint was delicious to me. i will be sure to include this in the next fic i write 🫡

Magpie!! Oh my god! I wish I'd seen this sooner! Oooh! I have so much to say regarding their appearances. Although I'd definitely begin with, please still feel free to have creative freedom! You've definitely gotten it down to a T though haha When it comes to 'pointed ears, etc' there aren't actually any other sub-species/hybrids other than avians in this universe, as they are creations solely of the Watchers. A cross, or in other words, the shape of an 'X' between his hair part on his forehead. Grian mentions this in ch6! And finally for visible ones, a large one resembling an explosion on his collarbone, back of neck and back. Across his body he has many overlaying each other as well. Some on his hands and espeically his palms/fingers. Basically you can give him as many or as less as you'd like hahaha Hawkeye, I didn't devle too much into his design! I wish I could explain more into him but that would be spoilers :( He has a lot coming for him. His main details are that he wears archer equipment: a quiver, chest guard, arm guard and glove! But his suit is pretty much just DDVAU inspired except no short-shorts since I'm going for less comedy aspect and more action style! Oh how I miss those short shorts lol The only key detail with Mumbo is his hair, it reaches about his collarbone. I call him the 'Hippie band guy' in my head because that's just how I picture him after the buttercups in S9 lmao If there's anything else you're curious about please ask away! MMMMM, kinda sorta. I do but I haven't thought too deeply on it because I think that maybe I... don't like apocalypse timeline stuff, actually? I like Casey Jr., but I'm not sure if I like him more than I dislike some of the other aspects of the Apocalypse Timeline, so.

For TMWN, I intend the main fic to take us to the defeat of Shredder, but I have kind of tossed around the thought of someday having a sequel fic that follows the events of the movie, because I'm a deranged person who hasn't finished the first story but is already thinking about a sequel... But tbh, the main thought I had was simply "ooh I could make timeskip designs for them..." and thats abt it ^^;

For Gemini, again, thoughts are limited, but I do think the whole Hamato Fam would end up together trying to lead the resistance and all that. I think Leo the Leader would be a lot less clear-cut in the Gemini-verse, I think it would be less Leo leading and more the Hamatos leading. As I've mentioned in the past, right now Mikey is really the one who views himself as a leader, and I don't really intend to rip that away from him. I also really love Raph as a leader, I think he's a good one, and I don't think Leo will ever stop relying on his partnership with his twin. They've just been a team for way too long, and so the idea of Leo being a 'leader' over Donnie would be weird for them, I think.

I also think Raph would adore Casey Jr. so fucking hard, but that's not really a Gemini thing ^^;

Re: having their own kids, the only one I've really thought about is Donnie. Dad!Donnie and also in particular Teen Dad!Donnie is just such a common theme in the fanbase, and I think it's very fun, so I think it's kind of fucking hilarious and funky if Donnie ends up having Oopsie Baby(s?) with his partner like,,, early on. I think my issues fall into two categories: is it bad technically (craft/pacing/writing/etc etc) but not harmful

So like- who cares really if someone likes garbage? I like garbage too, we all rummage through the trash and pick our faves and while it's not for me and I don't like a lot of it, I don't begrudge people who do. Kingdom of the Wicked is here. It's boring, it's got a plot that never made sense and it's clear the author didn't have a plan when she went in. Whether she wanted to write her books as quickly as she did or was pressured, I think the constant pumping out books for consumption like it's television seasons diminishes the quality. I would guess publishers are riding author's hard to write faster in order to captialize on hype because it makes them money.

I also think the way a LOT of self-published author's write like they're publishing to AO3 is part of the problem. So like- leaving me a rude review is mean because I'm doing this for free and it's a hobby but author's ask you to consume their work, often for money and its disrespectful when they don't, for example, hire an editor to catch their mistakes and then turn around and make people feel bad for leaving poor reviews or send their followings after reviewers for pointing out the lack of quality and consistency.

Those things are, in my opinion, bad and I dislike it's usually white mediocrity being put on this pedestal over and over when there are very well written, GOOD stories by poc author's that are ignored in favor of another mid story of a dark haired abuser and a spineless sassy LI.

But then there are bad books that are also harmful and that's where I don't feel so nice and I AM judging people like. Very hard. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the blood libel because Jesus goddamn Christ it's like every 4 months it's another author saying "oopsie I accidentally put antisemitism in my book" like look at the Haunting Adeline author. At least she's sorry but it's really exhausting AND highlights what a good editor could catch if they had any respect for their readers.

JLA is offensive in my opinion because she doesn't care so long as people keep buying her padded books. She'll keep churning out books and if you say "you know maybe it's okay to be critical of what you consume, even if it's just for fun" you get railroaded with people saying you have internalized misogyny and can't stand to see women enjoy themselves. I personally support women's wrongs EXCEPT when they're perpetuating hateful centuries old conspiracy theories that have gotten people killed and are still spewed on Twitter by, for example, Kanye West.

And the fact that so many of these author's rush to write whats in their heart and what's in their heart too often is racism is a conversation I feel like booktok isn't interested in having and so people still uphold Haunting Adeline when it never deserved the hype (but at least the author said sorry I guess, and reworked her issues) and will say they don't notice the antisemitism in FBAA (lucky them) and they're just trying to have fun without ever considering whose expense they're having fun at or like. How the self-publishing model COULD disrupt who we make popular if people could move away from the same four tropes strung together by shreddable plot and a dark haired man with tattoos.

how it happened was definitely under strange circumstances and strange Divine intervention/planetary alignment(look i like moon and sun symbolism,whaddaya want)

So let's get to surface level stuff first or just the powers, i already wrote about the weapon summoning(like I'm not really sure if it's an arsenal or a specific weapons kinda thing but I've mostly settled on offensive weaponry/ a sword for Tiivi and defensive, etc. for Madis, like they can summon any weapon honestly but i think it comes down to preference) and possible blurring of lines between powers(Madis starts maybe understanding animals around him and hearing words from his cat. In turn Tiivi's luck seems to some days be either drastically good or bad) and overall state of being(hearing the other's thoughts occasionally, getting nicks and aches where there shouldn't be but the other got hurt, etc. Real soulmate shenanigans, these changes become more apparent post timeskip since they've been separated then) but i should get back to the beginnings and the handling of the situation here also .

Aaah, Süsi, my guy does not understand how this happened and is now trying to figure out a way to undo this thing in the background. In all honesty she's the type who acts aloof but put's the world on their shoulders and feels like this is her responsibility, which is probably why he decides to introduce and teach them about magic and this stuff in the first place, since they seem confused and need some guidance(even if she might not be the best person for this).

There's some stuff at the climax of the first half of the story when an antagonist basically tries to steal those chosen one powers from Madis, but it doesn't work because he didn't consider the connection between he and Tiivi and that is something fundamentally holding most things back from cutting them off, it's also a final nail in the coffin so to speak about how connected they r, also people thought the power was halved between them but turns out it actually doubled so oopsies.

I think a lot of people don't like Roman for whatever reason, I didn't have twitter until far after s2 had finished airing so if there was drama I wasn't present for it. But his IICLH is magical and I do think that Howie genuinely wanted to be with Kourtney- he made mistakes, as a sixteen-year-old boy is wont to do, and he was caught up in the fiery hell of Zacky Roy and Lily Whatsername's Brigade of Evil, and his shadiness in the s2 finale could lend itself to some suspicion on his part.

However, I also really enjoy Jetney. The thing is I also enjoy Jetwen. There is room for all of these things in my perfect HSMTMTS. I just think that brooding, emo Jet is so full of love that he has not let himself share for so long, that when he finally opens up to himself he realizes oopsie, he kinda likes both Ricky and Kourtney! even better, it's right around the time when Ricky and Kourtney have reconciled and become besties again! that's a whole thing with jet. but it bleeds into kourtney's s4 arc, so i thought i'd mention it.

So when we left Kourtney at the end of MY s3, she was full of confusion upon seeing Howie for the first time since she left for camp. I haven't decided yet whether or not the documentary would've been released to the general public yet, but the trailer certainly had, so no matter what she knows that Howie has watched another man profess their love for his girlfriend on national television.

And Howie is... weirdly not bothered by it. He says it scared him a little at first, but he trusts her- and reality TV is all too keen to force things and feed actors lines, so he's not really worried. Kourtney, however, is, because as much as she'd like to agree that it was all for the cameras, there's a very real part of her that does like Jet, and as much as she wants to get rid of it she can't.

So another thing- Nini doesn't move to California. I know this was done in the show because Olivia's schedule didn't work for her to keep being main cast, but this is my perfect fantasy world and I get to keep my ninikins, okay? She left camp early due to her growing lesbianism to record some demos with Jamie in LA, and as s4 starts she's back in Salt Lake waiting for something to come of them.

Sometime in the first episode, Nini and Kourtney are hanging out and Nini reveals that she's written a song inspired by the whole documentary situation, mainly about how she knows her friends hearts despite the editing making them look like entirely different people. They sing it as a duet. Kourtney talks about her Boy ProblemsTM. There's a funny comment about how this time last year the roles were completely reversed. Nini insists that there's lots of other things to worry about and at least Howie is at North and Jet is all the way in Texas, so she won't have to worry about them during their Best Senior Year Ever.

Cut to the first day of school, and Kourtney, Nini, Ricky, and Big Red are all united as a front, and guess who's sitting in Miss Jenn's sixth period Drama II class? Our good buddy, Jet Lastname (i gave them the last name Grey). Kourtney and Ricky are both red in the face all throughout class. Nini and Big Red find this hilarious.

So in my world, HSMTMTS lasts five seasons, ending with the older four graduating. And with that, I want to save HSM3 for the last season. So, s4 will be The Little Mermaid! I really wanted them to be building up to Kourtney and Carlos as Ariel and Eric with Kourtney having her TLM playbill and Carlos wanting to play a human character and if this is my hsmtmts, that means i get what i want, and what i want is Carlos and Kourtney front and center like they deserve. i also want to include songs that didn’t get used from the other shows they’ve done. I feel like I deserve that.

I think that Jet would meet Howie randomly when he and Maddox go to Slices or something, and eventually realizes that he's Kourtney's boyfriend and has a moment.

the Kowie breakup would hurt me unless it was completely amicable. a few episodes into the season, they realize that they're just not working as a romantic couple and would prefer to just be friends. I can't handle a angsty kowie breakup that would devastate Kourtney or destroy Howie's character, I'm sorry. Maybe Howie can get with Big Red idk if i want to keep redlyn or go with madlyn or not!!!

So there's not really a Jet-Kourtney-Ricky love triangle because there's not anger or people being really aware of it- in fact, Jet's a little bit clueless, but Ricky and Kourtney both think that the other likes Jet so they're like "ok i'll keep quiet cause I don't want to make the other person angry" and then eventually they're acting so weird around each other that the four seniors are all in big red's basement late at night and they're super high loopy from lack of sleep and they admit to each other what they've been doing and they all laugh about it and Nini and Big Red are like "wow you guys are not very smart".

The east high friend group is very fruity

But over the course of the season I think Ricky would get over Jet or decide to be single for a considerable amount of time or whatever and actively encourage Kourtney to go after Jet as a contrast to like. Pained helping others to ignore his own problems like he's done before, y'know? Carlos is like "ricky is this another in a heartbeat" but it's not, it's genuine growth and finding happiness in himself before trying to get it from a partner. Ricky and Kourtney also become therapy buddies btw

And if Jetney gets together in s4 it would be closer to the end. I envision Gina (who is Sebastian) leading the kids in a dream sequence-esque performance of "Kiss the Girl" and everyone is like, goading them together, but they decide to take things on their own terms without any meddling from their friends.

So beyond the Jetney of it all, Kourtney tells her mom that she wants a proper therapist and we see her actually getting that in s4, talking about her anxieties and why she always situates herself behind her friends rather than letting herself come into her own. Someone asks her if she's seen all of the support she's been getting online since the doc came out, and she hasn't because she's forced herself to not go on Twitter. Her Youtube channel has blown up and people are wanting to see more and more stuff, but she's too afraid of hate that she doesn't want to risk it at all. She eventually starts uploading more casual makeup videos, and building more confidence in herself.

Eventually, Nini asks if Kourtney wants to do a duet with her on her EP, and Kourtney nearly dies. On one hand, yes she does, but it's after the initial viral boom of the doc has worn off and things are returning more to normal and she doesn't know if she wants to be quite as nerve-wracked as she was before. I think later, sometime in s5, Nini makes a second record and Kourtney happily agrees to do a song with her.

Nini, Big Red, and Ricky are super supportive, and she also allows herself to get closer to Carlos, Gina, Seb, and Ashlyn, and eventually the drama club is on it's way to being a big loving support system.

Plus, not to mention, I cast Kourtney as Ariel in the musical. I wonder if there's a version of If Only that's just an Ariel and Eric duet, cause that would fit Carlos and Kourtney much better than the quartet. Looking dramatically offstage at Seb and Jet during rehearsal and whatnot. She'd be nervous about playing Ariel, sure, but it's about more than that. There's something more innocent, with more ingenuity about Ariel than there is about Elsa, and that's what scares her the most. Performance-wise, she definitely does Beyond My Wildest Dreams as part of the performance and impresses the hell out of everyone. If Only, like I said, would be in rehearsal, and I think Part of Your World too, I think it could parallel the Monster scene I envisioned for s3, where it shows that she's having issues cause the performance is just Too Real, so her friends support her after the fact, just that this time Big Red and Nini are there as well as Ricky and all of the other kids are making it very clear that they're there to support her through it all.

As for her college-related anxieties, well... i suppose i'll just have to write up my ideal season 5 :shrug:

It would end up being a fucked up abusive relationship. Which it kinda is, well, not abusive, but definitely fucked up.

He's on this dumb war path to destroy that girl he was into. I get it. He was falling for her, she played him, so he told her fiance what she'd been up to, she got pissed, cut off contact with him and then lied to people about him. He didn't like that rejection, and it hurt his pride, and then he tossed her bones that made it irresistible for her to contact him again.

Newsflash: they're talking every day again. Then he shares their conversations with me, making fun of her. Supposedly, she and fiance are back together with the caveat that she not talk to my guy anymore. Oopsie.

My guy is just biding his time until he can blow them up.

The other day, she was shitty to one of our mutual friends. She has no idea that our friend group knows everything. He asked us all if he should blow it up. We were like, yes. Overwhelmingly unanimous. He said he needed more time to really ruin her.

I don't think that's it at all.

So yesterday, she starts a rumor about me that I offered sexual favors to the mutual friend she went after the other day.

It's supposed to be bros before hos, but rather than defend me, he said nothing to her. He's mad that she's spreading lies about me, but he's doing nothing. He's not ready to blow things up with her and her fiance, and he needs more time. So he has to stay in her trust.

I think about if things weren't unrequited. If I was having sex with this man that I loved and he was okay with letting me be devoured by the wolves. I can't handle it on a friend level, so I know the romantic level would be too much.

I need to get over him and I don't know how.

I wish I had attraction to people easier. Things have really cooled down with the one guy I've been talking to. I haven't heard from him in a couple of days and I don't care enough to reach out. I go out and dumb people flirt with me and I just want to roll my eyes.

So how do I find an emotional connection with anyone? I don't know.

But at least I can keep working on me, and healing whatever messed up piece that likes a dumbass who lets the person he's got a fucked up relationship with spread lies about me.

oopsie i never actually finished this thought. and also i don't think i have talked about it

so basically (and take this from someone who has 1) not watched the show past 10x03, 2) not watched the show since january) i have two theories about the cage and they both center around the cage itself being the torturer, whether in practice or simply by existing. bc like obviously lucifer didn't enjoy sitting there for a few thousand years (and nobody knows how long that felt to them), but was sitting there for a few thousand years the only torture they received? i kinda doubt it but that is one of the theories. i'm sure canon proves these wrong at some point but i still like them and want to use them for something. tldr theory 1: only isolation, theory 2: isolation + other forms of what humans would consider torture.

so theory 1 is basically just that. the torture of the cage is that it completely isolates its inhabitants. no contact with anyone, no way out, you are alone with nothing but your own thoughts and all you can do for an unknown amount of time is think. i don't think it alone is a physical space with physical boundaries until someone is inside of it, and then maybe it takes a form of some kind, or maybe it's just black emptiness or another color. in the case of lucifer they didn't even have a body so they were just....there. all they could do was sit in their despair and rage and wretchedness and hatred and frustration and whatever other emotions were dominating them at first. and then all they could do was continue to think and boil and rot in these emotions because there is literally nothing else there. all they can do is hope beyond hope that one day they'll be let out.

now keeping with the theme of isolation i think that once we introduce other entities into the cage, they would also be isolated. i'm torn on whether it would deliberately rip lucifer and michael out of their vessels, or whether they would stay in them until/unless they chose to leave. i think ripping the angels out of their vessels would make more sense if the torture is isolation, and i think the cage would be able to distinguish that hey, these bodies have two entities in them. but since sam is lucifer's vessel, literally made for him, the cage might not actually see them as separate entities. (not sure how that would apply to michael and adam.) so i think in this theory michael/adam and lucifer/sam are isolated, but the angels stay in their vessels until/unless they leave. this opens up a whole other can of worms bc i don't think the fact that people can just retroactively tell angels no, get out of my body was there in s5? idr but i feel like that would have changed things esp in endverse which i have talked about before, unless that can only be done when the human in question isn't like, THEE vessel. point is i'm not sure which would be more torturous and which would make more sense to the cage's idea of isolation. because i do see it as a kind of changing shifting organism that adjusts to whoever is inside of it.

anyway the big thing about theory 1 is that it posits that no torture other than isolation actually occurs in the cage, that the torture is that you are in the cage at all. there's no, like, torture devices or deliberate cruelty beyond the fact that You Are Stuck In This Cage Forever which is pretty fucking cruel.

theory 2, instead, posits that the cage is torturous by design AND it's filled with all kinds of nasty stuff. and in this case i think of the cage, again, as something that adapts to its inhabitants and tortures them in ways that hurt them specifically. so it shows you your worst fears, every horrible memory, makes you relive the worst moments of your life, forces the worst thoughts into your head all the time, makes you see horrible awful things that you hate. and it would also physically torture you in whatever form you're in. in the case of lucifer existing there on their own at first, they would have been tortured however an angel in its true form can be hurt. once the whole gang is there, if the angels and humans exist separately, they would be hurt in ways specific to their existence. (it's hard referring to angels since they aren't people, they don't have bodies, they don't have souls, etc.) point is that sam/adam would be hurt differently than lucifer/michael just because they are different creatures. HOWEVER, if the angels are still possessing the humans, they would be tortured in ways that angels can feel pain while within a human body, which would probably also make the human soul feel pain but idk.

the main thing about both of these theories is that nobody has control over what happens in the cage. while i think that lucifer would know the cage better simply by being there for so long and therefore have a decent understanding of how it works (regardless of theory), maybe even able to avoid some of its tortures or adapt to them, i don't like the idea that they (or michael or anyone else) can actively manipulate the cage to hurt a different entity, because why would the cage be designed in such a way that the prisoner can take the reins? if you're there, you're hurting, whether by sheer isolation or by that + other tortures. it's punishment for whoever's inside, not only one or two or whatever.

anyway my last thought is that if the cage has control over who's in whose body, if it's torture for lucifer to be in sam's body according to sam but not according to lucifer, and the cage also controls how its inhabitants are tortured, maybe that's where hallucifer comes from, maybe that's the version of lucifer the cage invented to torture sam. this actually just came to me out of nowhere and i kinda fucking love it!!
