Hi hi I saw you have a crochet tag and was wondering if you crochet??? I followed you originally for gizz stuff but oh my gosh I've been looking for more people who crochet!! If you do crochet you can tell me all about your projects, I enjoy hearing about them and it gives me ideas!!

Hell yeah i crochet it’s one of my Special Interests. I like making skirts. I’m working on like 2 and a half of them. The first one I’m using this nice color changing yarn but i dont have a pic of it cuz I barely have started bc i am focusing on my other skirt.

Completely forgot what this kind if crochet is called lol. Buuuut it’s like a little graph and you have to like...fill in boxes to make a picture. Imagine a graphgan but with one color lol. I mean i could do more than one color and i very might do that later!!! But! Not today!

Here’s the graph i am using. I like printing patterns out. At some point I’ll put them all in a book lol. Each box is made of a ch3 and filled boxes are 1dc at the start, 2 to fill it. So 3dc plus like...1 that starts the next box. That confused me for a while lol. But it’s extremely easy. You could do ch4 with boxes of 3dc and it would be wider. But I always do it this way. The pattern has a part for making it a dress but i am not going to follow it. I plan on making a crop top with this to match. As you can see, it’s not an even increase so it’s gonna be kinda...flat ish? I usually do really flowy so eh. I am using:

1.60mm hook that i keep using. I actually only use the bigger hooks (I consider anything above 3mm big) when i make like shawls and hats and sweaters. I prefer small hooks with mercerized cotton or lace weight yarn, anything above weight 2 yarn is...annoying!!

I also made this one but i have no idea what to do with it? I messed up and uh. It’s fucking huge? It was my first time using a pattern i wrote myself and the increases are SO off that crocheting around once takes 4hrs lol. It’s got so many ruffles and only goes down to my just above my knees! I don’t like i am gonna finish it💀. How i got this pattern is a LONG story but if you know any of Mary Croché’s work on instagram I literally just stared at her stuff and copied that i just did NOT count her increases lol. Now that she has her charts for sale I’m probably gonna buy one and try again tho!!!

The other stuff i made i dont have pics of but I’ve made a few shirts and sweaters, a shit ton of winter shawls and hats (i make a beanie almost every year bc i loose them💀). I only make scarves for others. I hate making scarves! And i made my boyfriend a rug but he doesn’t use it much😑

Happy holidays!!!! I don’t want to take up too much room so I’m going to throw some rambling and extras under the cut lol

So I don’t think nye has a tumblr, but on their twitter i saw that they were into VTube and youtaite and i wanted to incorporate that in their gift somehow. Unfortunately.... the characters are kind of all already anime??? So drawing-wise, i figured it would be more fun to go with a more general YouTuber AU so I could put in some variety rather than just stills of singing or badly rendered 3D models (by which i am throwing shade on myself alone, VTube rigs are sick but i regrettably have no 3D skills lol)

I’ve actually,,, never played Frontier at all, so I apologize if anyone is wildly out of character!! The wiki is extremely sparse and I didn’t have time to watch too too much of the let’s play i found, so if they’re not right just chalk it up to the YouTuber ~performance~ aspect of this AU lmao.

Even though I’ve never played before and don’t know the characters Super well though, I still had a lot of fun thinking about this AU! If you want to know the specifics of everyone’s content:

Anette does parkour (fun facts, this particular move i drew is called a speed vault!) and a little bit of vlogging, and she’s friends with Erik (as in canon, if I did my research correctly lmao). She sometimes appears on his channel and vice versa, and he helps her film and edit and stuff sometimes. She lives and works with Mist and Rosetta and helps out with their online boutique. Mist is the idea woman who comes up with crazy stuff, Rosetta is the realist and bookkeeper who pulls those ideas together into something feasible and profitable, and Anette handles all the packaging and shipments and stuff! There’s always something weird going on in their apartment and everyone ends up there a lot, so some of Anette’s vlogs get really popular just because of how out there they are lmao. Oh, almost forgot, but her channel is “DeliveryIsFreestyle” bc... get it... free delivery... freestyle parkour / freerunning... Lol actually it was almost going to be “RunTheMail” because i couldn’t think of anything at first so i think this was the right move in the end :P

Erik has a gaming channel where he mostly plays farming and dating sims / otome, and we don’t read too far into whether or not RF exists in this universe for him to play even though I put the posters for frontier on his wall xD. The reason I picked Stardew for this thumbnail specifically is because A) I have it and could easily take screenshots and B) i read that he has a crush on Lara? And she’s like, kind of a nurse? And Maru is kind of a nurse? It’s a silly joke but I thought it would be funny to cockblock him from dating a nurse he has his eyes on even in video gaming with his friends lol. His channel is pretty self-explanatory (I was really hoping his farm would have a fun name when i was looking it up but it’s really just “Erik’s Farm” huh? ...but I probably shouldn’t judge, my dnd character’s wolf is named Wolf xD)

Lute paints!! I think he does a lot of speedpaints and mostly does traditional art, but I think he would have some digital skills hidden up his sleeve as well. And also I don’t know why at all bc I know the least about him out of all 4 of them, but I feel like he has done / does some of those like “how to draw anime” videos because I just think that’s funny. He has a bunch of really popular ones about overly complicated fantasy outfits. No this is not a callout for any series in particular why do you ask? Anyway, I’m not sure exactly how the line goes because I couldn’t find it, but the wiki mentions that he’ll say he’s not doing anything suspicious when he’s painting at the lake, so i thought it would be funny if there’s some kind of running gag with his subscribers where they point out suspicious things he does and he responds in the next video or whatever. The thumbnail I made definitely does just have a screenshot of rff that’s color-corrected and blurred, because I ran out of time but also wanted to differentiate the bg from the canvas ^^;  His channel was originally just “lute” in all lowercase but then i got to the part of the let’s play where he was introduced and he calls himself a “fledgling painter” so i thought this was more fun.

And Eunice has a cooking channel!! She specializes in baking, but she also has a whole playlist along the lines of “Nutritious Food Can Still Taste Good!” where she talks about healthy eating habits but doesn’t buy into diet culture bc I personally HATE diet culture lmao. I think when that gets popular, she also maybe does a side thing about easily accessible workouts for all sorts of people who want to get into shape? But with a focus on getting stronger / being active and Not a focus on Losing Weight necessarily. Promoter of healthy and happy living! I know how her events / dialogue can go in the game, i just happen to have Opinions About Things, so, that’s how she is in my version. Also, unrelated, but she’s very cute. Even though her braids were a bitch to draw hahaha. And i did end up drawing her just in her actual outfit even though i gave everyone else different clothes bc idk it just felt like it fit the aesthetic of a cooking vlog well?? And it’s not a super complicated one unlike others i could mention. Her channel is “Charming Sweets” and her cooking series is “My Cooking” because those are the titles of the books she has on her bookshelf at the start of the game :)

But that’s just all of *my* headcanons for the AU! If anyone else who knows them all better has their own ideas, please be my guest and imagine it however you like!!

Who said “I love you” firstI know it might sound strange, but it was Fudou! Kidou is far too wrapped up in his own self doubts and overthinking and that stopped him from at first even acknowledging his feelings and then to said them out loud. So one day Fudou just EXPLODED because he couldn’t wait any longer and had to speak up what was in his heart. It was very loud and messy and at first Kidou said nothing because he was paralysed and half in denial and only in a second moment did he finally manage to say “I love you” back (after seeing his silence was hurting Fudou). And even then it wasn’t without a loooooot of overthinking about his dad and family situation, what that would mean for his future etc (to know more read the “first kiss” answer👀)

It’s gonna take some time before he says those words as well...

Anna:  Because it doesn’t make any sense for children’s faces to be blurred out when the pics go on sale on American pap sites, and the pics are taken on US soil nonny.  They did try that in October of 2016 at JFK, and all that pap walk did was send more people our way...

Anna:  I really really really really really can’t be any clearer with pointers to PR.  If they want to keep this looking as unrealistic as it does, they’ll only be doing the Skeptics’ work for us and sending more people our way with each passing airport pap walk where Weirdo sells shoes and Ben sells his dismalness...  For that matter, with the way this showmance started, where Ben couldn’t for the life of him avoid the paps back when the unsaleable showmance was being shoved down the general public’s and the Academy’s voting members’ throats during his Oscar campaign of 2014-5, it only looks bizarre when people know he’s globetrotting for work constantly but doesn’t get spotted at airports anymore.  He’s damned if he arranges for pap walks and damned if he doesn’t...

These Are The Days 6/9

One Sunday after church, Ronan finally talked to Declan about his plans. His older brother gave him a complicated stare. It was 1% incredulous, 1% disbelief and 98% pride. Ronan had trouble dealing with a proud Declan. For so many years the only emotions he inspired in Declan was disapproval and disgust. It was a sobering moment for Ronan, to see the genuine smile on the oldest Lynch’s face. More so when it echoed the smile Niall Lynch used to give his middle son. It reminded Ronan that Declan was as much as his father’s son as Ronan himself.

“I can help with the business plans and the licenses. But how are you going to separate the farm with this?” Declan made a motion to indicate the Barns and it’s many dream secrets.

Ronan brought out the schematic farm plan he had made with Adam’s help and spread it on the kitchen table. The Lynches property was vast and it gave plenty of space between the Barns and the proposed farm. Ronan and Adam had planned it so the farm would have its own access road, water source and electric line. The farm could operate independently without anyone coming close to the Barns. Declan gave him another smile and approving look.

“So you’ve been thinking about this seriously.” He remarked as he poured over the paper.

“Yeah, otherwise I wouldn’t bring it to you.” Ronan said with only half his usual barb.

Declan only hummed in response. Then he pulled out his phone and scroll through his contacts.

“I’ll start calling people on Monday. In the meantime, you need to set up a bank accounts and get in touch with an accountant.” Declan tapped some more. “There. I’ve sent you the numbers for the local bank and an accountant firm.”

“Okay.” Ronan grunted. His relationship with Declan was better, but it hadn’t reached a point where he can say ‘thank you’ without wanting to wash his mouth afterward.

When it was time to leave, Declan gripped both of Ronan’s shoulders. “I’m proud of you.” Then he kissed Ronan’s cheek and climb into his Volvo.

Ronan made a show of wiping his cheek, but once the car was out of sight, he gave in to the urge to grin. He used to think of his future in a somewhat abstract way, re-build Cabeswater, raise Opal, marry Adam. But now, he had a more concrete way of building up his future, shaping it into one he wanted and could have. It felt big, it felt significant, and he was ready for it.

Three months later, Ronan Niall Lynch was the proud owner of Lynch Farm. Declan must have pulled some strings to get all the licenses and permits issued so quickly. Ronan sent Adam a pic of Opal holding up the legal papers.

‘We might just survive if this brat can keep herself from eating the important looking papers.’

Adam’s reply was a pic of himself surrounded by piles of books.

‘I might just survive if these books can keep from eating me.’

Feeling mischievous, Ronan sent another pic of himself sticking his tongue out obscenely.

‘The question is, can you survive me eating you out?’

To which Adam sent a selfie of himself glaring at the camera, cheeks flushed, middle finger raised.

‘Fuck you Lynch. I’m blocking your number until I’m done with my tests.’

Two minutes later another text from Adam arrived.

‘And I would totally survived it. The question is, can you survive me swallowing you whole?’

Ronan had to groan and locked himself in the bathroom after that.

It took another month for Ronan to find a contractor to begin the construction of the farm. For the long term, Ronan had planned for several barns, hothouses and cabins. The cabins would eventually housed the workers, with one intended to be the office, although it would have a bedroom and a small kitchenette tucked in the back for his personal use.

For the first stage, Ronan had the contractor built the road and put up all the fences, but only built one barn, one hothouse and a cabin for himself. He would build the rest once he was more familiar with running a farm.

When everything was ready, Ronan went to buy the rest of what he needed to truly become a farmer. He bought packets of seeds, natural pesticides and fertilizers and the farm machines. He had his sight on a BCS two wheel tractor and it’s various implements. Once it arrived, Ronan took a picture of it and sent it to Adam.

‘My new Italian ride.’

‘What happened to the German one?’

‘I can’t fucking use her to till my farm Parrish.’

‘Is it a Lambo or a Porsche?’

‘It’s BCS you fucker.’

‘Huh. Bought it, or?’

‘Stole it from my fucking neighbor.’

‘Don’t turn me into your accomplice you asshole!’

‘Too late for that Parrish. They’ll know to pick you up if I get caught.’

‘Not if I turn you in first.’

‘Fucking traitor.’

‘Did you mean fucking tractor?’

Ronan laughed and sent Adam a pic of him shirtless, pushing the BCS.

‘I hope that’s not how you plan on doing your farming.’

‘Why not? Don’t tell me you’re jealous of my tractor?’

‘I’d like to see your Irish pale ass skin handle the sun Lynch.’

‘You like my Irish pale ass.’

Adam’s reply was a pic he took in front of the bathroom mirror. Adam was clearly just stepped out of the shower. His tan skin was gleaming with water and his towel was wrapped so low around his hips.

‘How do you like this?’

Ronan had to curse and scrambled back to his room for some privacy. He needed to appreciate the perfection that was Adam’s Parrish body, and he’d rather do it alone and behind locked door.

Three months later, Ronan overnighted a box full of his first harvests to Adam. He sent several heads of lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Two days later, he received a pic of Adam and his entryway buddies sitting around the common room. Each was holding a bowl of salad and a thumbs up.

‘Thx for the veggies. Do you think you can send us pumpkins and strawberries next?’

Ronan’s reply was a pic of him and Opal standing in front of a farmer market stall. There was a sign reading ‘Lynch Farm’ and several neat rows of vegetables off to the side.

‘We’ll see.’

For Adam and Ronan, there was one good thing about being in a long distance relationship. Though the separation was hard, it inadvertently cut their fighting time by a lot. Between Adam’s studies and jobs and Ronan’s farm, they didn’t really have much spare time, so whenever their free time aligned, Adam and Ronan spent it being as sappy as they could get away with, which was a lot. (Still, both vehemently denied of being a sap.)

They still bicker with each other, mostly through texts, but somehow it always ended up in shirtless pics being sent back and forth. Which led to sexting. Which led to either boy locking themselves in their room to relieve the tension.

Whenever they talk on the phone, it was always about hundreds other mundane things. They would talk about Opal or about the latest pic the Gansey trio sent them. They would gossip about Adam’s classmates and Ronan’s farmer market friends. They would commiserate over essays and the sudden shortage of manure in Henrietta. They would complain about nice customers and rude costumers. They would trade videos of their daily life. Adam waiting in line to get food at Annenberg Hall, sunrise as seen from the Barn’s rooftop, Adam doing a handstand, Ronan and Opal doing a handstand.

Some nights, they would Skype but have no conversation. Adam would study and got lost in his books, while Ronan finished his modules or re-reading his notes at the other end. They were too busy to talk, but it was nice to look up once in a while and saw your boyfriend’s face not one feet away though physically they were hundreds of miles away. It made the distance bearable.

There were days when one of them were too tired or too busy to even send a text, and that happened more often than both liked. Ronan hated those days. Those were the days where his doubts crept in and the ‘what ifs’ returned with vengeance. On those days, Ronan would take the BMW out and raced her on the backwater roads of Virginia. The older Aglionby boys knew better than to go against the charcoal gray car, and the newer ones who never even heard of Ronan Lynch’s name learned their lessons soon enough.

It was a good way of taking his mind off things. The adrenaline rush was enough to ease the restless energy thrumming under his skin and come morning light, all his doubts would seem silly. Especially when his phone had one message from Adam waiting to be opened. It was a pic of Adam in bed, wearing Ronan’s shirt, all sleepy eyed and mussed hair.

‘Thinking of you.’

Ronan saved the pic and started his day with a smile.

For Adam, days where he didn’t get in touch with Ronan in one way or another left him feeling guilty. It felt like he was forgetting Ronan or something. He knew it was irrational to feel that way, especially because they were two grown ups who built their relationship based on trust and mutual understanding.

The nights were the worst because that was when the dreams assaulted him. He often dreamed that wretched day where his hands wrapped around Ronan’s neck, robbing him of air, leaving bruises in their wake. He would wake up gasping, hands grasping the sheet so tight he almost ripped it.

Nights like those he was tempted to call Ronan even if it was three in the fucking morning. Most of the times, his finger was one tap away from making the call, but he always pushed down the urge. Ronan slept little enough as it was, Adam didn’t want to deprive him any further.

Instead, Adam would take off his clothes and wear one of Ronan’s shirt. He would take out the toy car and spin the wheels, letting the music filled his silent room. He would take out the photo album and looked at the smiling faces of his family. He would take out his phone and browse through the many pics Ronan sent him. It calmed him enough that he could finally drifted off to sleep.

When he woke up in the morning, he felt half better already. Then his phone pinged, signaling an incoming message. It was a selfie of Ronan and Opal. Opal was holding up a box of strawberries and they both were smiling ear to ear.

‘You fuckers are gonna love my strawberries.’

Adam laughed and forwarded only the pic to his group chat.

‘Strawberries are on their way.’

Adam prepared for class and he could already taste the strawberry on his tongue.

No???-Game room????-IT’S LITERALLY THE BEST ROOM IN Y’ALLS APARTMENT it’s decked out in all of your nerdy-gaming related things (figures, posters, games themselves) and seriously it’s just pride and joy nerd-Your bedroom is overrun with plushies, neither of you can really tell whose is whose anymore-He makes you breakfast every day! The first day, he tried to bring it to you in bed but that was a disaster when he tripped over the plushies and you woke up with an omelette on your face-Y’alls apartment is covered in cute things- stickers are everywhere, homemade gifts and decorations, and it just looks kinda like pinterest threw up in the apartment-Your kitchenware is SO CUTE like your ladle is nessie, your measuring cups are whale shapes, and he has these cartoon cups that he tried hiding from you but they’re just so cute you can’t help yourself

*JUMIN:-Y’all didn’t have to get a new place, he just moved you into his penthouse i mean didn’t he already in his route, LMAO-But anything you want, he will get it for you-He has a lot more cat shaped things than you originally thought though-Like cat shaped bowls, has a few coffee mugs with cats on them, things like that-NOW THAT Y’ALL LIVE TOGETHER YOU GET TO SEE THOSE SWEAT PANTS HE’S TALKED ABOUT, HALLELUJAH-He gives you complete control of decorating but it’s like??? Isami quietly confessed to Megumi nearing the end of their second year, during a celebration party thrown by PSD for everyone’s safe promotion. they were in a corner by themselves, with pretty much everybody still rioting and cooking random dishes. they started off talking about the past year, and Megumi kinda starts talking about how her anxiety is still really bad, maybe she really isn’t cut out to be a chef? and Isami is Really Upset to see Megumi, shining star Megumi who managed to clinch 9th seat all on her own, talking down about herself and says, “that’s not true, you’re incredibly capable as not just a chef but as a person. there’s not many as special as you are.” and Megumi blushes “oh, you’re just saying that to make me feel better.” and Isami’s like "no, no im not. i wouldn’t lie to someone i like.” and Megumi. freezes. so does Isami, tbh. then he awkwardly laughs. oops. “aha, looks like the cat’s out the bag. i didn’t mean to...say it so suddenly. but i mean every word, Megumi-san.” and then he smiles and Megumi is 100times confused and blushing and Isami tells her "ah, i don’t need an answer right now! im sorry for suddenly springing this onto you, ill leave now.”and he smoothly walks out the room but sp r i n ts down the corridor and out the dorm silently screaming why did he do that he’s no takumi how did he get so embarrassing. (btw Megumi replies him a week later w a positive answer)

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: ...both. they have a matching homescreens !! Megumi has a seperate pic of Isami for her homescreen that she looks at whenever she’s nervous to give herself courage lmao. 

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: BOTH. Isami occasionally draws a flower or positive messages for Megumi and Megumi replies in turn !! they do it for each other when they know the other will be having a tough week or has had a tough week :”)))

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Isami !! he buys all sorts of trinkets for Megumi whenever he returns to Italy/explores Japan with Takumi. Megumi’s dorm room is full of souvenirs and knick knacks. 

Who initiated the first kiss: Megumi ..!! she kisses Isami on the cheek (as per Yuki’s command suggestion) when saying goodbye, and is super flustered, and Isami is So Surprised. then he asks if he can kiss her too and she nods and he leans in for a proper one that Megumi shyly accepts :”))))

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: honestly? neither of them are that mean to each other, plus they wake up at about the same time together anyway lol. Isami sometimes does though, on days when he’s feeling cheeky.

Who starts tickle fights: surprisingly, Megumi !!! both Aldini twins are ridiculously ticklish and Megumi LOVES IT. so she tickles Isami A Lot. also Megumi is not ticklish At All (altho she laughs a lot out of sheer anxiety if ppl tickle her). 

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: neither ! shower time is kinda important for Megumi; it’s a quiet alone time for her to relax and have some time to herself and unwind. Isami respects that and doesn’t like to disturb it. on days when her baths are especially long though, Isami prepares scented candles in their room and thoroughly pampers her when she’s out the bath w massages and quiet conversations.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Megumi !! she’s used to making lunchboxes for her dad so she does this waaay more often than Isami does. also Isami tends to resolve lunch with cake/dessert sampling while prepping for the dinner crowd and that’s No Good !!! he also has ridiculous eating habits (which is part of what affects his extreme weight loss/gain during changing of seasons) and Megumi is Determined to help him kick, or at least curb, them.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Megumi !!! she felt utterly unprepared and unqualified. Isami was kinda nervous but seeing someone else more nervous than him kinda calmed him down lolol. Isami was good at making her feel comfy and realise its just like any outing, just with more handholding and food sharing :”))))

Who kills/takes out the spiders: they’re both ok with it !! usually whoever spots the bug first. 

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: more likely, Isami. Megumi is a very giddy drunk who blacks out entirely too easily, and Isami becomes a very silly drunk; he’ll tap Megumi on the shoulder, cup her ear and whisper things like “you’re really cute tonight.” and giggle. though he hardly ever gets drunk bc he has an incredible alcohol tolerance so this doesn’t happen as often as Megumi would like it to :”DD
