British train stations I’ve been to rated by how much I like them

Swindon: my home station. simple, relatively straightforward layout. they never ID me when I buy booze here. a good start, 9/10

Brighton: I like the fact that you can see everything. nice station. nice coffee but it’s very expensive. they never announce the trains until like 2 minutes before they leave and the gaps on platform 1 are always too big. 6/10

Hastings: it’s fine. it does the job I guess. something about it feels depressing, though. 7/10

Three Bridges: trains keep abandoning me here and make me get replacement buses. 2/10

London Victoria: fucking awful. too busy. the Only redeeming factor is the wetherspoons but even that’s expensive. 1/10

London Paddington: there’s not really anything wrong with it but I don’t like it because they got rid of the Krispy Kreme. 5/10

Clapham Junction: it’s fine. 6/10

Cheltenham: good concept, poorly executed. it’s too far out of town that getting anywhere from it is a pain in the arse. I don’t understand it. 3/10

Didcot Parkway: bad. 0/10

Liverpool Central: I don’t think that’s what it’s actually called but never mind. it’s quite good. nice building. 8/10

Bristol Temple Meads: good lord what’s going on here?! lots of tunnels, very big, and two entrances. that’s too many! it’s confusing and I don’t care for it. 2/10

Bristol Parkway: simple. to the point. too many stairs, though. 7/10

Reading: YEAAAAAAAAAH BABEY!!!! THIS is what I’m talking about! consistent timetabling means I know where everything is without looking at the board. food, coffee, the whole hog. good memories of this one. 12/10

Cardiff Central: does the job. good effort. 7/10, it’s nothing special.

Lewes: if someone asked me to describe how depression feels I’d take them here. 1/10

Penarth: quaint. it’s alright but there aren’t enough trains really. 4/10

Redhill: ehhhhhhhh. it has a platform 0 for some reason and I don’t like that. platform 0/10

Eastbourne: I don’t trust it. 2/10

Gatwick Airport: I’ve argued with more people here than anywhere else on the planet. makes no sense, you can only access platform 7 through a secret entrance. I hate it. -1000000000/10

Baker Street is the starting point for most of the city's major tube lines, including the Jubilee, Circle, Hammersmith, Baker-loo, and Metropolitan. Two minutes walk from Marylebone station is the Marylebone national rail service, which provides service to the cities of Birmingham, Banbury, Bicester and High Wycombe. The Baker-loo line also serves elephant and Castle and Harrow & Wealdstone. The green line and the Oxford tube bus arrive at the station every ten minutes. All the National Rail lines may be accessed via Paddington Station, which offers a frequent service to Heathrow Airport and connects to all local buses. Swansea, Hayes & Harlington, Bristol, Didcot Parkway, Cheltenham Spa, Reading, Great Malvern, and Heathrow's Terminal 5 are connected by the Paddington train.
