It really is not about how many people at the airport or watch your lives or like your instagram photos. All of that are nice bonus extras. People are so deep in fandom spaces that they forget what it is about in the end, what it should be about: people genuinely liking your music and looking forward to watch your performances.

Then there's this thing that I don't understand.. what do they mean when they say most "popular"? Is it really most popular, in the grand sense of the word where random people know your name, or is it most "popular" because they're the most biased members within the fandom? Because I think the answer to that is very clear. Everyone knows whose name outside of the fandom people know and recognize and talk about.

This fandom has come to dislike and resent Jimin because he had the misfortune of being friends with Jungkook. They resent him because he's loved and successful and people talk well about him. There's a lot of new armys who probably have no idea that "armys" started ignoring Jimin's tweets and stopped interacting with them because they thought it boosted his brand reputation and other members deserved to be #1 too. They literally stopped themselves from interacting with Jimin's tweets so he wouldn't be "more" than the others. And yet, people in real life, outside of the fandom, still keep Jimin there as #1. So I think that for starters, we should all collectively agree on what's the actual definition of "popularity." Case in point, BTS had a huge fandom since years but they weren't actually "popular" until dynamite.

Okay, so what if Jungkook and Taehyung cater to the fandom fantasies and fit their standards better. That has never, and will never say anything real about Jimin's likeability or talents.

My Scooter x Reader one, from the video game Borderlands. I mean, it isn't underrated considering Borderlands is an off and on dying fandom, but like- it's the one I have with the least likes? I don't really consider any of my fics underrated since I get attention on most of them and I consider more than 20 interactions a win LMAO

I prefer one shots, writing and reading them. I do not have the attention span to keep up with writing or reading multiple chaptered fanfics. Writing because I lose interest. Reading because I tbh kind of forget about it/lose my place/or I forget to check for updated chapters. I respect people who can keep up with multi chaptered fics more than you can even imagine 😭

8) do you take inspiration from real life? If so how do you incorporate it into your fics?

I do, actually! I am a Mid-Westerner who loves the outdoors which is why I love Lester sm tbh. I like to incorporate my love for bones and knives into his character! I also own chickens and live on a tiny "farm" North of my town so I kind if incorporate it into fics when I write for Tommy or Bubba as well. Love writing for country boys/gals

hmm. I don't think I really have one. I wrote a Sincairl one a long time ago where I wrote the effects of the fan belt incorrectly just because. There was really no reason. I had just written the fan belt broke and was too lazy to fix the details.

Probably angst! I love writing and reading angst. It helps me feel something lmao. I also just love writing emotions.

Oh... you mean my last post talking about SB being threatened by Jikook???? I meant that in the general sense of western artists being threatened by BTS and for Scooter particularly the vocal line due to conflict of interest- the interest being his own favs and artists like Justin.
