Happy anniversary babes

It’s April 11, and today marks one year since I discovered Fugou Keiji Balance Unlimited on Twitter 😌

“Daisuke” was trending and I thought it was another Kpop thing (LOL cuz in my country the only things that always trend are Kpop-related), until I clicked on it and saw that it was a new anime. They were all thirst tweets like damn, and they were all so hilarious, and it wasn’t until I saw Daisuke’s edit with Cardi B’s Money that I got sucked into watching the anime, the first episode of which was just released the night before.

When I watched the edit I was like “Wow this man’s grace... this man’s beauty...” My issues got even worse when I learned that the reason why the title says “unlimited” is that his fvcking bank account is unlimited 😭😭

And mind you I have not watched anime for years now bc of ✨college✨

I went to YouTube to watch the opening song cuz ppl were going crazy for it, and bc ppl were saying stuff like he has a fiancé, and yeah damn the OP was lit, and then I saw it.. The sofa with ML carrying this “mysterious” girl. LMAO I was like “Ok nice we have this FL, he’s taken thank gohd” bc tbh I really wanted him to be taken already, better yet, with that gorgeous girl. I commented on the video saying “I hope his fiancé or whateva is rich... I also hope she’s badass, so she doesn’t have a bad ending.” LMAOO

That was the very first time in my life I dedicated my life into a certain anime, like frfr all I could think about the whole week after the first episode was that, and every morning after I wake up from my 3-hour nap I’d open my iPad, go to YT and watch the OP. 😌😂

Episode 2 came about and the girl has finally been revealed. Now this.. this was the time things started to get difficult, firstly because the studio decided to postpone further episode release, secondly, the debate about the girl being a fiancé, sibling, cousin, adopted, sweet home Alabama started and ppl were getting more and more... aggressive with it, bc on Twitter a lot of ppl really shipped the 2 ML together, while there were a very few ppl contradicting the idea that the girl is merely “family,” and that she could be smth else.

Every time I’d open Twitter all I’d see are these ppl bashing her and wanting the 2 ML together etc... Meanwhile here I was, part of the very few who wasn’t convinced that they’d downplay her into becoming “family” or “relative” and whatnot, most especially bc we knew her place in the novel (thank gohd I saw tweets abt her and the novel), and I was looking for some support, which I unfortunately did not find bc the aggressive ppl would bash on whoever opposed them.

Even on fvcking Instagram there were still bashers. The only time they won’t bash is if the content is purely abt Suzue herself. Even then there would still be ppl questioning her real identity, but they’d be overshadowed by the fujos/fudans.

Fortunately someone on Instagram snitched, saying there were “worse” ppl in tumblr shipping FL and ML tgt. And then I knew it was a sign to download the app and revive my account 😂

I’m so glad to have met the first 2 ppl ( @innovativestruggles @kannra21 ✨✨😍)with their dissertation, and damn those were the best times I ever had. I read every post made, and the one that really stuck with me until now was the facial feature comparison between Daisuke and Suzue, and SHEEEESSSHH she really pointed out the good- the BEST stuff. They also covered the OP, bc it had a lot of Suzue in it, and the speculations were *chefs kiss* 😊

During the hiatus I had no FKBUL food from the official source, but y’all on tumblr sustained me. Idek what happened to the person who tried translating the novel anymore.

I remember when the anime came back with episode 3, and every after episode we’d talk and giggle abt it, post abt it, heck get mad, and even though they were whack in the end, well, we had together.

WIP Wednesday - Let’s Talk Music

I don’t have any writing to really offer today.  I’ve been trying to work on that Haven fic but unfortunately Aloysius hasn’t been co-operating with me despite all my best efforts to make him speak.  I may take a break from writing and pivot towards completing some art memes, but Wednesday just sort of crept up on me and here we are.  So instead, I’m sharing something that both is but also isn’t a work in progress?

It’s “in progress” because while I’m happy with where it currently is, I’ve said that about playlists and soundtracks before and later changed them.  I’ve worked hard on this and talked several friends’ ears off about songs I’ve heard or artists that seemed to work and thanks to their feedback I think this is a really good one.  It’s gone through several edits as well, and may potentially even go through more down the road.  So I’m saying this counts for today.

If you give it a listen (and I hope you do because I’m very proud of it so far), I hope you enjoy it and maybe discover an artist you didn’t know before.  It clocks in at around 51 minutes and features 13 tracks which span Quinn Trevelyan’s story and important events of the main game through to Trespasser.

If you are interested, below the cut is a list of tracks and a brief blurb or description about who or what they’re meant to represent.  I was going to go into things in more depth and talk about how I built it, why I picked the songs I did, and the B-Sides that were left on the cutting room floor, but after realizing I had written nearly 4 pages about just as many songs, I realized it was too much for anyone to read.  So below is just a very brief summary and I think that most of the music would speak for itself, but I’m happy to expand more on anything that anyone finds either interesting… or confusing.  (There is also Solas content because I knew a few of you love that.)

You have to click on this sentence to go to the playlist because Tumblr’s coding for “Read More” seems to be conflicting with the HTML code to embed a functional playlist.  Because of course it is.

Quinn’s tarot card is the Wheel of Fortune as his story is a series of unpredictable highs and lows.  What the Maker giveth, He also taketh away.  The playlist follows that trend of highs and lows with upbeat songs followed by darker or more mellow ones.  Whenever I create a playlist, I try to think of a general tone or sound that I want to be carried through the soundtrack.  I want the overall genre or sound to tell the story as much as the individual songs.  Because of that, you’ll see artists repeat a couple of times, and when they do it’s always intentional.  You’ll also notice that most of the vocalists are male.  This was again intentional because this is Quinn’s story, and he’s a man.  They are his songs and I wanted the vocals to reflect that.

The Cult of Dionysus - pre-Conclave Quinn

Quinn at his most basic and stereotypical before any character development happens whatsoever - poppish, upbeat, and maybe just a little obnoxious.  He smokes, he drinks, he fucks, and nothing else matters.

The Sound of Silence - Aloysius’ Theme

I like Aloysius as a more practical view and examination of Quinn and the cult that grows around him.  He affords an opportunity to look at Quinn both as the Herald but also as just a person.  He is stoic and mild-mannered, a dutiful soldier, and an excellent foil for Quinn.  This is also absolutely a reference to an Arrested Development joke.

Isle of Dogs - Quinn’s true theme

Quinn is a walking disaster constantly falling victim to his own hubris.  There’s a morose sort of resentment to the lyrics, of someone who is constantly struggling against the tide.  In a lot of ways, this is basically a reaction or push back to all the crap I have put him through.

Providence - “In Hushed Whispers”

There are no Templars here.  The first few lines relate a lot to the dismissal the fledgling Inquisition receives from what remains of the Chantry, but the rest of the lyrics are very much about the mages and Fiona’s dealings with the Venatori.

Seven Devils - “In Your Heart Shall Burn

No male vocals in this one to symbolize the change in perspective.  This is both a bit of an easy and obvious choice for this story beat.  Female vocals for Corypheus might seem strange, but when I created my Warden’s soundtrack I tended to use powerful choruses and female vocals for anything related to Blight, Archdemons, or the darkspawn.  I carried that idea over to this as Corypheus is one of the seven Magisters.

Caesar - becoming the Inquisitor

This is a softer and quiet interlude in the wake of the loss of Haven and struggle through the snow.  If the previous song marks the end of the first act, this song marks the beginning of the second.

King - “Here Lies the Abyss”

In my written world state, Alistair is both the king and the Grey Warden contact (this goes back to that longform fic I am working on).  I suppose it’s a bit unfair because in the end that has a major impact on why Quinn makes the decision he does at Adamant (a rather threatening letter from the Warden helps too).  Think of this as a duet between Quinn and Hawke.

My Type - the love interest

“Here Lies the Abyss” was completed first, then a romance triggered, then “Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts”.  This is that sort of inbetween interlude and is very much inspired by how I may have flirted with multiple characters a little too much and basically triggered several romances at once.  I also went into Quinn’s playthrough having no idea who I was going to romance and just let him shop around.  And it came down to a coin flip in the end, so “you have a pulse and you are breathing” is pretty much the only standards he has.

Boheme Supreme - party at Halamshiral

All I have to say is that I love techno swing, every single lyric in this song is perfect, and I want you all to picture Quinn Trevelyan walking into the Winter Palace with his Inner Circle entourage around him, dressed up in that outfit I drew with that peacock feathered cap and having a drink in his hand throughout the entire night’s affair.

Hell’s Coming With Me - “Doom Upon All the World”

This is the climax of the main game, the rematch between Quinn and Corypheus which I have to imagine is more impressive in concept than it was in game.  I chose the dialogue option when Corypheus calls Quinn an imposter, “I am the Maker’s chosen” as his final challenge.  Sometimes it’s easy to forget that this main is actually very Andrastian.  But he is, and the lyrics, “I am the righteous hand of God/And I am the Devil that you forgot/And I told you one day will see/I’ll be back I guarantee/And that Hell’s coming with me” are the perfect declaration.

Paradise - Jaws of Hakkon & The Descent

Another interlude song.  If the previous one is triumphant than this one is the beginning of a bad turn.  In the interim between the events of the main game and the Exalted Council, things begin to go wrong in little ways.  His relationship with Cassandra begins to break down, eventually ending in the two of them having frequent spats and going their separate ways after returning from the Frostback Basin.  This song is deceptively sarcastic about how good things are.

I Still Love You, Judas - Solas’ Betrayal

Solas… oh, Solas.  Does this song indicate a very complicated and layered relationship between Quinn and Solas?  Yes! Have I attempted to unpack any of this?  Nope!  Have fun with this one!

Battle Cries - Quinn and Cassandra

I saved this one for the very end because it is a story within a story.  It is sad and bittersweet, but also not.  This entire thing feels to me like a duet between Quinn and Cass on what was good, what could never last, and that it’s all over now but that’s okay.  Because “this isn’t a breakup, dear heart, it’s a season finale.”  Does this mean that Quinn sounds like Joey Batey when he sings?  Sure, why not.

When I was nine, I moved into the Aphmau fandom. Earlier than that, I was an avid reader of Harry potter. Earlier than that, I was into stampy cat and iballisticsquid and skydoesminecraft. I have been in fandoms earlier than my body can remember, and I started in on wattpad when I was very, very young. Just writing, only writing. I had a vague understanding of what sex and smut was as a child, because of unmoderated youtube thumbnails. I ran into sexual themes online, because that is what a child does okay? I will admit that I knew about sex as a child if only barely.

As a kid in fandom, you don't know how to moderate things. As a literal fucking elementary schooler who doesn’t know how to differentiate “Their” “They’re” and “There”, you do not know the difference between right and wrong. You do not understand what an 18+ warning is, and you don’t know what the fuck a dead dove is and why anyone would want to eat it in the first place. You do not understand, and i think that this is something that problematic content creators expect of literal fucking children, and i also think that it is extremely irrational and condescending for you to do so.

When I was a bit older, maybe twelve/thirteen, I found ao3. I found twitter, tumblr, bnha and anime. I was excited because it was a community, so I became super involved as fast as I could. I had still not hit puberty yet. I hadn’t even learned the pythagorean theorem yet. I didn’t entirely understand variables and I had no clue that washing your face was basic hygiene. I am bringing this up to display to you that I. WAS. A. CHILD. A kid. Five years ago at this point I still had trouble jump-roping. I was a kid who had average decision-making skills for their age and who found the idea of boys gross, crushes were based on who was fastest in gym class.

I let go of tumblr because I couldn’t grasp what on earth it was supposed to be used for and how it was supposed to be used, I posted shitty depressed memes on reddit because I thought I was edgy. And then I got involved in fandom twitter.

Me, my friends, we recommended each other cute ship threads and discussed Notps and did “toxic fandom stuff” because we were children who still celebrated valentines day with sweet-tarts and holographic paper cards. I still knew jack shit about sex and relationships because as a child sex education is just “this is a penis, this is a vagina, this is how you don’t get pregnant, any questions?” 

So when one day, i decide to type “BNHA” into the search bar of twitter, intent on finding cute things to share with my online friends and instead am greeted with a picture of a character raping another character, I don’t know exactly what to do.

Let me repeat that; I looked up JUST the word “BNHA”. Just that. Nothing else. 

And I, a child, who has no decision making skills, clicks on the post. Because it makes me feel funny, and children are curious.

As a middle schooler. As a child who had the average physical and mental capacity to resist impulse, aka none, as someone who used Uwu and OwO unironically, who thought spelling “as” with a Z made me quirky and fun, discovered a main-tagged post of a character being nsfwed in a sexual assault.

From here, I explored. What you people don’t get is that is what children do. That is what children DO. And you, in all your wonderful wise ways, decide that it is on ME. On someone who had no understanding of what this was, to be the adult and say “I do not think this is right.” You, the thirty year old woman who maintags, are saying that to me, who was a twelve year old. 

I think the most traumatic thing I read during that time was an aged-down character, who went from fifteen to five, being sexually abused and pimped out by his mother and forced to have sexual contact with dogs.

Today, I suffer from intense intrusive thoughts that I do not think I need to be diagnosed for, because constantly wondering if you’re going to be sexually assaulted by every single man you come in contact with, having to shoo away evil disgusting thoughts that have made you involuntarily gag and nearly vomit, having to deal with these awful things in my brain is proof enough. Today, I have such a deep-rooted fear of sex and men and relationships that despite me being entirely Heterosexual, wanting children in the future, having these ideas of a family, I feel incapable. 

Today, I saw a fic saying that it was my own fault if I found their problematic fic, and today I raged for every child that is going to be messed up by people who choose to blameshift just because they want to use maintags. 

As fandom spaces get younger, and the fan age range grows bigger I have noticed a distinct uptick in who is reading and consuming fan content on social media. I know eleven year olds, ten year olds, I have met a nine year old child who messaged like they were twenty. All of these children read fanfiction of characters that they adore, and click on fics that include those characters because they adore them.

I’m going to share another experience that I’ve had with sex and sexual abuse that was self-inflicted, but normalized by the content that I had consumed. As a child, a thirteen year old, I messaged adult men. I went on omegle text chat, I found forums for sexual roleplay, I talked to probably a dozen adults in sexual manners without them knowing or realizing. Even a few women, and I am completely certain this experience is going to scar me until the day that I fucking pass. It makes me feel empty inside, but you know what? Your fics normalized that for me. I read a tweet from an adult, someone much older than me, who talked about having gone into adult spaces as a child. They did the same thing as me. It is a trend, but while I recognize that I was too young to know what I was seeing, reading, hearing from people who were older than me and therefore authority figures, they blamed themself. And that is the most heartbreaking fucking thing.

When you maintag. When you use a main tag, that a child who does not know how to filter out scrolls down on, and they decide that this will be an okay thing for them to consume because adults know better, will you look them in the eyes and tell them the fear of things they don’t understand and haven’t even been introduced to yet is their fault? Will you tell them that ao3 is an adult site for adults and it’s their fault for being stupid enough to read it? Will you tell them that the images that will play in their minds for years until they’re desensitized and so so scared that they’re now a bad person because of it, will you tell them that it was their fault for clicking on it when they were seven, eight, nine? 

Frankly, I do not give a shit about what you write. If it is in rpf and you still push it i will think you are a bad person, but other than that I could never care less. But I do care what you tag, because If you write the word bnha on twitter with an image of a young child's favorite character being sexually brutalised? If you maintag a fic where someone is starved till they are nearly dead, infantilised, sexually abused during all of it, and leave it out in the open on a site you know has children, in a fandom you know is targeted towards kids. If your tags leave a child open for attack, harm, mental scarring? I care, because I will not let another child be blamed for something they themselves did not fully understand the weight of.

Hot take: I’m rewatching H20 and so far I think Charlotte Is the superior mermaid and she deserved a redemption arc.

- Yeah Charlottes a bitch, but wouldn’t it have been way more interesting to have her unlearn that behavior? Also, her motivations for being manipulative aren’t even that unreasonable. Her boyfriend is running around with his ex girlfriend all the time, I think that at least warrants a confrontation (and for the more inexcusable things, I’d like to think if she understood the situation from day one she wouldn’t have been such an awful girlfriend)

- Most of her screen time is spent being gas lit by Lewis, and it usually has something to do with how close she is to figuring out Cleo, Emma, and Rikki are mermaids (which wasn’t even her intention to start). The main girls just ASSUMED the only reason Charlotte would be interested in Lewis was to get closer to the mermaid secrets, and that feels a little self absorbed.

- how would you feel if your boyfriend identified the sketches by your grandma as mako island and he refused to let you go there, even though he frequents it often? How would you feel if you found someone who could tell you about your grandmas past but your boyfriend REFUSES to let you go meet him? (Even though the helpful person in question is actually your grandmas ex). How would you feel if your boyfriends ex (Cleo) had not just a photo of your grandma, but the locket she’s wearing, AND an old video tape of your grandma IN A MERMAID TAIL? Charlotte wasn’t even looking for mermaids she was trying to learn about her heritage.

- I would say being a mermaid is kind of her birthright. Not just because of her grandma but when Charlotte does transform, she discovers she has not one but THREE powers. I’d like to bring up the fact that the main girls started with one power, and then after a gills night out (pls) they discover weather related powers which they can hardly control. Charlotte found all 3 of her powers in the span of an episode and had full control over them.

I’m conclusion: the writing team did her dirty, instead of being the final addition to an empowered group of 4 Charlotte became a cautionary tale for girls to mind their business.

When you walked out of your bedroom the next morning, you found Tom sitting on the couch. He was watching some random celebrity news channel, and when you looked at the screen they were showing several pictures of you and him together, mostly from last night.

“I would’ve left, but there’s a ton of paparazzies outside. Apparently, we are the new hot couple” He said, with raised eyebrows. “We are even trending on Twitter and Tumblr”

“So, I guess I have to spend the day with you. Just perfect” You mumbled to yourself, but he heard you. Or at least his eyeroll indicated that he did. “Maybe the whole moving in together, might not be such a bad idea? We are going to be stuck together for a while. Might as well have to bedrooms, so we don’t have to breathe the same air all of the time” You sat down on the other side of the couch, while looking at him.

“My apartment already have two large bedrooms, so why don’t we just move there? Then we won’t have to actually look at new apartments” He put his feet in your lap, and you instantly pushed them back down.

“Well that was easy. Where is this apartment of yours? We could just move today? That would definitely give them something to talk about” You pulled your legs up under you, and smiled kindly to him. Maybe, just maybe, you could actually become friends. If you were going to spend that much time together, maybe it could actually be enjoyable.

“Well, it might take a little time to move. I live in London. As in England. But yeah, it would definitely be something for them to talk about” He returned your smile, but yours quickly dropped. Was he joking? London?!

“Excuse me, what? You didn’t think to mention that? That your apartment is on another continent?” Did he seriously expect you to move to England? Just like that? How on earth could that be a good idea, even in his head?

“Is that a problem?” He asked, in your opinion stupidly. “Yes, that’s a problem! It’s in Europe! My life is here! Hell, my career is here! We start filming next week, and you want me to move to England? Were you dropped as kid, or something? You can’t possibly be that stupid” You accidently hit the back of the couch. You had a tendency to use your arms a lot, when you spoke. Especially if you were getting emotional.

“Well, my life is in London! If it wasn’t for you, I would be there right now! I can’t just give up my family, because you were so stupid to get married while you were drunk!” His voice was raised.

“I was so stupid to get married? Do you need a fucking mirror? As far as I know, you got married as well! It’s kinda a two-person thing, so don’t you dare blame it on me! Oh, and for the record. If you hadn’t sent out that tweet, we wouldn’t even be married right now!” Your voice was getting louder too.

“Oh right. It’s all my fault! It’s not because I’m the reason you even got that role! It’s not because I’m the best bloody thing that has happened to your career!” Now he was yelling. You started to regret thinking you could be friends. He was back to being the arrogant asshole.

“Right, sorry. I forgot how big your pedestal was. I’m just a simple peasant in your presence!” You said sarcastically. You got up, and walked to the fridge. Good thing you always had a bottle of liquor in it, you had feeling you were going to need it.

“Like you’re so perfect yourself!” He huffed, as you pulled out a glass, and just a bit of food. If you were going to survive this day with Tom, you couldn’t drink on an empty stomach. You had learned the hard way, never to do that.

“No, I’m human! But I guess, that since you’re play a superhero, you got the idea that you’re also better than everyone else! Hate to break it to you, but you’re not! I honestly don’t understand how so many people love you” You started to eat, as you sat on the counter. He just made you so mad! He didn’t even know you that well, but he sure knew what buttons to press.

“You’re pretty, but not pretty enough to compensate for your shitty personality. No wonder you’re single! Or you’re not, thanks to me. If I’m going to keep being around you, I might need to get paid for it. Pretending to be in love with you, is the hardest acting, I’ve ever done!” He threw his head back onto the pillow, and you rolled your eyes. Since you were done eating, you took a big sip of the cold bottle.

“It was your manager who wanted us to stay married, to save your reputation, so really, I think I should be the one getting paid! You’re not exactly a peach to be around” Another sip, another burning feeling.

“Why did you even take the glass out, if you’re not going to drink from it? If you’re not going to use it, could you at least pour me a glass? I think I might end up being here the whole day, so I need a drink a too” He looked at you, and you jumped of the counter, opened the fridge, and threw a bottle of tequila his way. “This works too” He smiled, as he opened the bottle.

“At least there’s one thing we can agree on” You sighed. These months were going to be so long, if you could only agree on drinking.

“We agree on a lot of things. Grass is green, water is wet. Do you need me to continue?” He asked, laughing to himself. The alcohol was already starting to affect you, as you took another swing at the bottle.

“Would it really be so bad, if we were just honest? I just find it so hard to believe, that it would damage your entire reputation, if people knew your got married while drunk. All PR is good PR, or something like that” You asked seriously. You wouldn’t survive several months with him, let alone a year.

“Since we are in the United States, and since I’m not 21 yet, it maybe wouldn’t be that good. And since a lot of people describe me as an innocent cinnamon roll, I think the term is, it would definitely change that. I don’t want that to change” He said, and you looked at him a bit surprised. He wasn’t 21?

“How old are you exactly? And you got nothing in common with a cinnamon roll. I love cinnamon rolls, but I don’t even have positive feelings about you” You took another sip, as you waited for his answer.

“I’m 20. Almost 21, so don’t worry. And you aren’t exactly the definition of sweet yourself. You’re closer to the dead sea. Extremely salty” Now it was his turn to take a sip.

“Do you. Do you even know the meaning of salty? It means being pissed or upset. Don’t use slang you don’t understand. It just makes you look more unintelligent” You shook your head at him. Stupid brit.

“Excuse me, for thinking you’re pissed off all the time, but you are. So yes, you are salty” His voice was slowly getting a bit deeper, along with every sip he took. The alcohol was starting to really hit you, and you knew that you were close to reaching the drunk stage. You passed tipsy a while ago.

“Maybe I’m pissed, because you’re a moron” You started connecting your phone to the speakers. Maybe if you played some music, you could stop the conversation. Without thinking you put MAX on the speakers. At the moment, he was one of your favourites, but you didn’t exactly take into consideration how sexy some of the songs were.

“Yeah, great. Turn on music. Then I won’t have to actually listen to your voice” He huffed, before taking another sip. “Sorry, I can’t hear you over the music” You smiled, even though you heard him perfectly.

“You know, it’s really not loud enough, for you not to hear me. So I guess you’re stuck listing to me” He smiled cockily, and without hesitation you turned the music up. He left the couch, and walked towards you. “And now you can still hear me”

You wanted to smack that stupid smile of his face, and in an attempt to control yourself, you took another sip. You put the bottle down, and hopped off the counter, and walked to the couch he had just left. Why was he this annoying? Was it a drunk thing? It couldn’t be, unless he was an alcoholic. He walked back to the couch, and sat down on top of your legs.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Am I annoying you?” He tilted his head, as he looked at you. “Yes, you are. Now if you could move that heavy body of yours, I could actually get away from you” You snapped at him.

“Oh, but I’m actually kinda enjoying this. I just really love it, when you’re really pissed” He winked at you. The fucking idiot winked.  What the hell did he expect to get from that? It was definitely attractive, but you would never admit that.

“Could you just for once be decent human being, and not a complete idiot” Your voice was raised again.

“And we’re back to me being an idiot. I really thought we were having a nice moment, but of course you have to be a bitch and ruin it” He rolled his eyes at you, and you felt yourself getting angrier. You hadn’t even been close to having a moment.

“Don’t you dare call me a bitch! You can call me everything you want, but don’t you dare call me a bitch!” You hissed at him. You tried to wiggle your legs free from under him. Nothing really happened, but you kept trying.

“Oh, so I managed to find something that really pisses you off? This is just great! The bloody bitch, hate being called a bitch!” As he continued calling you a bitch, one of your legs got free, and you kicked him in the side, till your other legs was free.

“I am not a bitch! Why do you have to be such an arrogant asshole? You just walk around thinking you’re so much better than everyone else, because you’re some goddamn movie star!” You yelled at him, while he carefully touched where you had kicked.

“You know, I worked hard to get where I am! Unlike you, who just marries someone more famous than you, and then have everything handed to you!” He was angry again, and you felt satisfied knowing it was all your doing.

“Oh, you worked for it? So you didn’t just go to Brit school, and had everything handed to you? Because, you know, I worked my ass off to get where I am! I didn’t go to some fancy school, I had to actually do it the hard way!” Did he really think he had a hard time? Because he didn’t.

“Right! So because I worked hard to get into a school, for talented kids, I got everything handed to me? If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t even have a role right now!” He was yelling too. He was running his hands through his hair in frustration.

“I didn’t want to be married to you! You wanted this! Or did you already forget? I can’t believe I actually agreed to staying married to you. You’re the most entitled prick I have ever met!” Angrily you tied your hair up in loose bun, in an attempt to get it away from your face.

“Could you just shut up?! I’m so sick of you bringing that up all of the time!” He kept yelling, taking a sip of the bottle still in his hand. The song changed, and “Wrong” started playing, changing the mood along with it, but none of you had really noticed yet.

“Oh, you don’t like hearing the truth? That’s too bad, because you’re the reason for this! You wanted this marriage, I didn’t!” He found you buttons, and you just found his.

“Just shut up!” He yelled once again, leaning forward towards you. You didn’t move back. You didn’t want him to have the satisfaction of you moving back.

“Make me” You challenged. He was still leaning forward in an almost threatening way. You kept your calm, knowing that if he actually hit you, it would ruin his entire reputation, and possibly also his career.

“Are you sure about that?” He asked in a dark voice. You were starting to feel a little nervous, but you kept a stone face.

“Make me” You repeated. You were expecting him to blow up, get angry, hit you, curse at you, something! Instead he put his lips on yours. In surprise, your lips parted, and he took the chance.

“Oh, that girl, she want it”

You slowly started to join his movements, the alcohol and music taking over. A small moan left his lips, and you grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer. He pushed you down on your back, pausing the kiss. He moved himself over you, and you looked in each other’s eyes.

For at short moment, everything stopped. It was just you, and those damn brown eyes. It felt like you had looking at each other forever, but you both knew it had only been a couple of seconds, before his head went down towards yours again. This time he didn’t kiss you, but he left kisses down your neck, and now it was your turn to moan.

As his lips travelled up to your mouth, he carefully bit your lip, as your hands found their way to the back of his head. A voice in your head was trying to tell you, how much you would regret this, but you ignored it completely, because in this moment, you were more than enjoying it.

“You want to get off this couch?” he whispered in your ear, and you gave him a quick nod. His voice was still deep, but it was no longer because of the alcohol or anger. It was purely because of you.

You wrapped your legs around his waist, and he picked you up, like you were just a feather. You took the chance, and went for his neck. Soft kisses were placed from his jawline, to the collarbone. When you got the spot just between the neck and the collarbone, he moaned, and you took as your sign to start nibbling the skin.

He put you down on the bed, without ever leaving your body. Your legs were still around his, as he laid on top of you on the bed. His hips were starting to move, as you started your make out session once again. Your lips quickly parted, when he pulled the shirt over your head. His eyes went down to your chest, and a smirk was on his face.

“As much as I like that bra on you, it would look even better on the floor”

When you woke up, you were way too hot. It took you some time to realize the body next to yours, with the arms wrapped around your waist. You turned around to look at Tom, and the recent events flashed into your mind. He opened his eyes, and starred at you, with an expression who you assumed you also had. Pure horror.

“This didn’t happen” You said, your eyes not leaving his.

“As much as I enjoyed it, this won’t happen again” You felt your cheeks getting hot, as you remembered just how much had both enjoyed it.

“Good. Now get out of my bed!”

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

So uh. BS is actually short for bittersweet, but now it doubles as my in-joke for BS in whateverCourse -- hence the in. So BS in oranges.

Then it’s bittersweetoranges because i read this fic called bittersweet and it was damn good to me at the time. Also my favorite fruit is orange.

...I’m bot good at giving names nor titles. Haha.

2. Which fanfic of yours has the most feedback? (bookmarks/subscriptions/hits/kudos).

Hm. Overall, that would be my KuroYachi one-shot The Lights in the Sky are Stars. It was sort of my love letter to the KuroYachi ship, and so I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be able to add on to it.

For subscriptions that would be my still unfinished brofest piece, The Thief, the Witch, and the Fae. This one is my bid at making an interesting take on certain characters and dynamics in a dark fantasy setting. Futakuchi is the lead if only because @haruhi02 accidentally gave me his name when I asked for random characters.

3. What is your AO3 profile icon, and why did you choose it?

A freezing link from Breath of the Wild. Well, why not? Haha. I love Link, I love Breath of the Wild, and when I resurfaced back on tumblr botw recently came out and also the free icons.

4. Do you have any regular/favourite commenters?

Well. I won’t name favorites. Frequent commenters tho... they’d be my friends from chat, so shoutout to @lethesomething and @haruhi02 because you guys are great.

To be fair, I don’t think I post frequently enough for people to keep their eyes peeled for me.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Boy, do I. Basically anything in my bookmarks are the things I regularly return to read. Quite notable, however is anything by bigspoonnoya. God. I love her work. From the HQ to the BNHA to the YOI.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to? How many do you have bookmarked?

I bookmark more than I subscribed. Buuuuuuuuut I’m subscribed to a grand total of 4 works, and I’ve bookmarked 62 fics.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

Fantasy. Hands down. There’s three-ish urban ones, then there’s two full-on fantasy pieces. The rest are slice-of-life.

There’s just something about fantasy that makes me really happy. It might be the freedom to make, or that I like using fantasy as a substitute for when I want to comment on current events. But usually I like writing things that are fantastical.

Someday I want to make write a slice-of-life that makes the mundane fantastical, and then vice versa. If only because it’s the little things that steal my heart and imagination every single time.

8. How many people are subscribed and bookmarked to you in total? (you can view this on the stats page)

Four wonderful people are subscribed to me, while 12 are subscribed to my stories. For bookmarks, I have a total of 24. ^^

9. Is there something you’d like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Many of my topic matter don’t really make much, if any, waves -- at least that’s what I think. I’m only afraid I can’t do justice to my dark/fantasy elements, because that would be a real shame.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at? Writing certain scenes or genres, replying to comments, updating better, etc.

First it’s definitely finishing what I start. My multichaps aren’t incredibly long, but I worry a lot about continuation and future chapters that it spoils writing the present one, so I hope to work on that.

Next is my exposition and narration. I can only say “Name smiles.” so much before I think I write in a horribly stale matter.

... Does writing romance or any sort of sexual or romantic contact count? Cause, boy do I need practice.

11. Do you write rarepairs or popular ships more often?

Is YamaYachi popular? KuroYachi? I’m pretty sure they’re an okay and accepted ship. But in any case the rarest pair I’ve written is KuroYachi, and then KamaFuta. Because those pairs need more content, and I’m pretty willing to fill them.

12. How many stories have you posted on AO3 to this day (finished and unfinished)?

I have 9 works in total. Five of which are completed oneshot, and the other four are unfinished multichaps. See the trend yet?

One of the finished oneshots is the longshot Nowhere in the Sea. It’s the first fic I finished in my whole 17 (at the time) years of living.

Of my unfinished things, one of them is an anthology (that I should probably close since I’m not planning on updating anytime soon) and then the three fantasy pieces that has a lot Worldbuilding™.

13. How many stories do you have saved in/with your writing program?

Hm. So, I switch between Google Docs, Sublime Text 3, and OneNote. But there’s a whooping 17 unwritten stories in various states of disrepair.

I’m most excited for the YamaYachi one, and also the sprawling ensemble cast one. :D

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I mostly keep them in my head. So they flit in and out of my memory like deadlines. On the rare occasion that I’m possessed by the idea, I’l have written the idea down and then some on anything I find convenient at the time (laptop, phone, or paper.)

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Yes. @haruhi02 was my partner for the hq fantasy fest thing. She was with me when I finished my first ever fic Nowhere in the Sea.

16. How did you discover AO3?

I was friends with this author back in FF.Net, and she had an AO3 account. Then, I branched off her fics to read the FE:A fics.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author in your fandom(s) on AO3?

LOL. Of course not. I can say, with confidence, that I am probably obscure.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Hm...

19. Was there an author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Fun fact, the first fan fic I wrote was an unfinished novelization of the Swan Princess (Nest Family Entertainment), and then an illustrated re-telling of Barbie’s Princess and the Nutracker. I started seriously pursuing writing around... the grade 5, when my bully of an English teacher said I had a talent for writing. If I had any it remains to be seen. But it was my friends back on FFnet. The likes of Mafi, and Tune, and Loke. They were there for me during my baby days writing for a fandom. We weren’t in the same fandom, but they inspired me so much.

Also I really like Philip Pullman and J.K. Rowling and thought it would be awesome to publish and write books.

Today though, it’s my friends in the chat who continue to inspire me everyday.

20. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

I don’t think I’m qualified. But if I should, it’d be to stay strong and welcome to addictive cycle of happiness and misery. Because there’s nothing like writing that one perfect scene -- it’s worth all the stress and the struggle.

Also. Writing is like wine, it get’s better with age, but it doesn’t mean that you like wine.

21. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plot a lot. Like a lot. But I throw out a lot through the window when push comes to shove. Sometimes I’ll outwrite what I’ve planned or plan something new and then I’ll get flung into a crisis. Haha. Fun.

22. Have you ever gotten a bad comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

The worst comment I’ve had is spam on Nowhere in the Sea. I just wish I had more comments. #NoShame.

23. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, smut, etc..)

Smut. A bit of action, but action is easier than doing the sexy.

24. What story(s) are you working on now?

I’m focusing all my energy on Amor Fati, which is my gift for the fantasy exchange. I need to finish that because it’d be sad if I didn’t. And, most importantly, I want to make my giftee proud.

25. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

The plan is to keep up with my plans. I have no shortage of plans. Hahaha. But I do plan on finishing up Amor Fati then finishing either Scales or The Thief, the Witch, and the Fae before moving on to other projects.

26. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Nope. It would probably be better if I did, but acads just eats a lot of my time.

27. Do you think you’ve improved as a writer since you first started?

I think it’s arrogant to think that I did, but I guess I did. I was 13ish -- two years after fifth grade -- when I took writing more seriously... And looking back my writing style changed. ^^

28. What is your favorite story that you’ve written?

I love all my stories for different reasons. To be honest tho, it’s what I haven’t written and am yet to write. I love The Thief, the Witch, and the Fae for it’s dark and heavy atmosphere. Scales for its hesitance and its secrecy. Amor Fati for the melancholy and for its world. Nowhere in the Sea for being my first in a lot of things (but also it’s magic system and world gdi). Lights in the Sky are Stars for it’s sweet fluff. Class Pizza for its tomfoolery. So on and so forth.

As much as I have a hard time looking at my writing, I won’t deny that I love them for the things that they are and could be.

29. What is your least favorite story that you’ve written?

... Probably my anthology? It reminds me of bad memories.

30. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Here, still suffering but instead out of school (hopefully) and knee deep in some sort of job.

31. What is the easiest thing about writing?

The planning and the talking and the crying and the reading.

The writing. Or maybe that point between the first scene and the third. Something like that.

Why don’t I? Writing is me. I’ve did things for the sake of reference, I’ve devoted a lot of myself to writing and the idea of writing. I love it. It’s an amazing way to express.

OK, list of positive events in the Reylo Fandom...(in chronological order)

So we’ve been through a lot of bad shit. We’ve had some major divisions, too. And just imaging all of the friends many of us old cane-wielders have lost along the way genuinely makes me very depressed and I hope somehow things change some day...

So frankly I’m done reading that sad shit- let’s get started with the good!!

1. Those first two weeks after the film came out and people, still on their main blogs, started posting voraciously about TFA and started tentatively asking each other about a possible Kylo and Rey dynamic only to discover it wasn’t just them- others felt it, too.

2. The discussion in the tiny fandom over what to call the ship. There were multiple candidates, some simple, some other mishmashes of words, but eventually posts began to emerge saying “Well it’s settled then- Reylo it is.” Yep, the ship name was decided on Tumblr. And actually at the time I remember posting saying I preferred one of the other candidates (can’t remember what it is now, though- maybe kyrey?), but it wasn’t long until #Reylo became the main name and tag for the ship and, hey, you can’t fight progress. 

3. The first amazing fan art started to appear! Many of our very first artists are still with us! I remember the first original piece of fan art I ever saw for this ship came from @solarfugue(arriku) and I was instantly in love.

4. Fics were steadily being written! Through everyone’s early stories, certain patterns began to emerge- ‘force bonds’ being the primary one. These would be things that would be included in nearly every single fic as a prerequisite after February 2016.

5. Just around the very, very end of 2015, the dedicated side blogs began to emerge and the fandom began to really solidify.

6. The first big exchange (to my knowledge) was the Valentine’s Day fic exchange Feb. 2016! Tons of people got in on it, and it started rumblings for possibly more writing projects.

7. SMUT WEEK was the last few days of february going into March 2016. Basically, after a stream of people happily chatting and giggling along here on tumblr, a whoooole lotta risqué art emerged at once, and as a consequence, I declared the second or third day of this trend to be Smut Week. Everyone really grasped onto the idea with both hands and the smutty art, and even stories, POURED in for 5 solid days more. There’s not been much of a need to call another smut week, because, well, we never actually dropped back down to any innocent level since. So, anyone who’s ever tried to avoid smut in fics in this fandom, it’s my fault. I’m sorry (sort of). ^^;

8. Art Fridays! For awhile in spring, going into early summer 2016, Art Fridays, organized amongst some of the artists in the fandom, became a thing to look forward to. There’d be a secret theme and on Fridays around 8pm or so, suddenly tons of new art would emerge. It was something I always looked forward to. Later the concept morphed into ‘Shenanigans’ and is held sometimes on days other than Friday.

9. Art Fridays eventually morphed into the Reylo Anthology, a collection of artists who would still occasionally do art fridays stuff, but also worked to focus more on big themed reylo art projects.

10. The Reylo Fanfic Anthology was a concept tossed around quite a bit during Spring 2016 before being taken up by a group of writers and is still going strong to this day. There’s one large project a year, dotted with side events often centered on holidays.

11. The Reylo Sin Anthology came to be! A fanfic anthology for all the smuttiest smut fics, written to various themes throughout the year- many of them very much on the risqué side which is how they liked it. (It later became the Reylo Book of Sins and still going strong.)

12. From Spring to Summer 2016, due to new revelations from cast and crew, the fandom contracted a bit, but ultimately became more concentrated and ‘regulars’ began to emerge. Summer was also about the time that ‘metas’ pretty much got exhausted (everything had pretty much been hashed out by then), so it got a little quiet...

13. In October the Reylo Short Story Collection was announced. Focusing on, obviously, short stories, the goal was to write within the word-count limits and then publish with each story having its own custom art. A new issue is published every four months.

14. In November, two of our own, @starwarsnonsense and @bastila-bae, began an analytical podcast, “Scavenger’s Hoard”, about the new films and also with the goal of being reylo-friendly in an increasingly aggressive fandom. They added women’s voices to the discussion and have since even won awards!

15. We lost Carrie in the winter of 2016, so that was pretty terrible. But just before that happened, we were abuzz knowing a title for 9 was coming, and also anxious for the latest new years’ fic exchange hosted by the fic anthology, something that a lot of us held onto as a positive distraction in the wake of tragedy.

16. Starting around the turn of the year, changes started to take place on the SW website, namely the Data Bank, and other places- talk of ‘intertwined destines’ and ‘fascination’ and ‘links’ with regards to Kylo and Rey...could it be? Did we finally have more reason to hope?

17. In January 2017, we got the title for 8!! “Space Bear” became “The Last Jedi”, and suddenly the meta writing was back in full swing!

18. In April 2017, we got the trailer for 8! And boy did we get our hope alright. Quickly we realized many of our ‘standards’ in fanfiction seemed to have fairly correct between the trailer and cast/production commentary at SWC: Luke the underwhelming teacher, Kylo suddenly maskless and with a much reduced scar than we ever anticipated...*cough* causing us to speculate even more strongly about his anti-hero role and desire to reach Rey. The new clues and speculation quickly began to filter into fic writing.

....and here we are today! Did I miss anything? This was sort of a greatest hits in the fandom. ^^; If I missed anything, let me know! It’s getting late and I’m a bit out of it, so forgive me if I have...gosh so much has happened!! We’ve done so much!! And I’m so proud to have been with all you guys, old and new, through it all. :,)

11 Organic Social Media Marketing Tactics to Increase Your Reach Online

There’s a world of difference (and difficulty) between using social media as a consumer versus harnessing it for your business.

You don’t need to do the math to know you’re doubling down on engagement by communicating with your audience through both language and imagery.

That's where adding quotes on top of social images can be part of an effective strategy.

When you quote well-known words, you also borrow some of their speaker's credibility by associating yourself with them. So look for quotes that come from the people your audience adores and loves, and use Pablo by Buffer or Canva to bring them to life easily through drag-and-drop design.

"Tag a friend who..." is a type of social media post you might’ve seen on Facebook or Instagram. Done right, these posts provoke others to tag their friends.

Consider using this strategy to encourage your audience to:

Highlight someone in a positive light: "Tag a friend you couldn't live without". Invite someone to take a challenge: "Tag 3 friends to take the ice bucket challenge". Poke fun at a friend: "Tag a friend who snores really loudly". Not only does this contribute comments to your posts, but each comment that includes a tagged friend will all but guarantee that they, too, at least visit your post.

9. Run a Contest/Giveaway

Contests and giveaways tend to produce significant engagement because they ask your audience to do relatively little for the opportunity to reap some reward.

The more compelling your prize, the more hoops people will jump through for the chance to come out on top.

A form of media that's somewhere between a picture and a video, GIFs can be found everywhere thanks to their versatility.

Here are the best ways I've found to discover or create GIFs based on your unique needs:

Source existing GIFs or create new ones on GIPHY (you can also customize them with captions) Turn existing videos into GIFs and compress them for sharing. Use Twitter's built-in GIF function to add an animated GIF to your Tweets. Use Boomerang to shoot your own video-GIFs on your phone that will play as a video loop on Instagram (like a Vine video). Use AZ Screen Recorder to record your mobile device's screen and turn the video into a GIF. Incorporate GIFs into your social media strategy and give your audience a reason to smile.

Jajajja, we have this joke in my family where we say I’m half witch,jajaja. It’s just I’ve have night dreams sometimes, that predicted the future? Jajajajaj like once I had a dream about a girl how comes to the shop. In the dream, she was at the hospital,very ill. Well, I had been a few weeks I haven’t see her, and I told my sister about my dream. I didn’t thought anything about the dream. But that same evening that girl’s mom went to the shop. And my sister told her about my dream. And the mom told my sister that her daughter has been hospitalized for more than a week, very ill (but she was already recovered). My sister called me immediately after,jjajaja.Then, another night I dreamed with two crows. I was walking down an empty road, and they were flying behind me. One closer to me than the other. (Ufff, I still get anxious thinking about it). When I woke up I looked up the meaning of dreams, and find out that crows mean death. Well, the next month my brother-in-law’s granny died.
