I'm reading master and apprentice and it's really interesting to see how rael and qui-gon talk about dooku as a master compared to how we see him treat asajj in the clone wars. the dark side does that to a person I guess.

#the dooku and asajj relationship is interesting bc while he pushes back he does abandon her to die when sideous orders it #did he intend to overthrow sideous and make asajj a proper sith? or did he believe she didn't have the capacity as he later expressed?#did he dispose of her because it was easier to agree with sideous than try to explain that she was just an assassin and always would be?#she believed that he cared about her the way a Jedi master cares for their apprentice but i highly doubt that #but like. he seems to have been a good master. rael and qui-gon remember him fondly. he wasn't cruel or demanding.#star wars
