i have been making croissants (two day process) and i just totally fucked them by letting them get too warm while proving and the butter melted. lets see what happens (-,:
#have had such a nice day tho#nice to talk to olive last night and do something tactile after (baking and cleaning)#woke up went on a walk with a friend and it was so so so nice to reconnect#got up to no good and our dogs played#super impromptu vet visit ive been putting off#to pickup hal's flea and tick and heartworm meds and get him a vaccine#but they fit us in today with like a 30 min notice!#made myself some armor and it felt very ritualistic...wore it today#it got indirectly complimented which felt like a sign hehe#pulled some a crazy little reading for myself with my new deck which im intimidated by but really like#i find tarot in general a little intimidating but still cool#curious how these croissants will bake. theyre kind of for someone so i hope they turn out well#did everything by hand bc im a luddite and find stand mixers impersonal#got some Plans tomorrow maybe tripping???#and tonight seeing two friends i feel supported and cared about and frazzled and better and angry and like a big mess
