Okay, I just realized I probably should have given some kind of update about my life because uhhh last time I posted and was active on this blog, things were quite different. Sooooo yeah, here’s the short bullet point version of what’s been happening these past two(?) years.
I’m still attending college, I’m heading into my third year of my bachelor’s degree this September. I’ve actually made the decision to continue onto university ONE LAST TIME after this and study Japanstudies. I’ll be 30 by the time I finish that degree and I’ll have completed four different degrees/courses (two of which being bachelor titles).
My lovely sweetheart of a cat Dibbus passed away on April 29th of this year at age 19 (he was a very, very old man) and his passing hit me extremely hard. However (and some may not believe this and that’s totally fine!), I’ve since then been experiencing (hearing/seeing/feeling)... things that indicate that his spirit is still around me. I’ve always been very susceptible to these types of connections so I’ve welcomed it, which has helped with the grieving process.
A direct result of that I guess is that I am now shifting focus in terms of religion and the way I’m living life and I am currently learning about and shifting towards witchcraft! If that at all offends or scares you and I do happen to post anything related to it on this blog, you can block the posts (as I tag accordingly). However I doubt that’ll happen because I have a side blog specifically made to reblog those kinds of posts (the link for which can be found in my navigation). I’ve always had an interest in it and looking back on it, I was actually raised with several witchy beliefs through my mom so this should be interesting!
Still single, still the virgin Mary in everything. It’s pretty cool over here.
Still experience anxiety every once in a while but honestly, I’ve become pretty good at handling it! I have an actual social life now, bitch what????
I still really love Seifer Almasy. Like goddamn that man can do me.
I’m still really fuckin’ cool to be honest.
Yep, that’s about it! If you have any questions, feel free to come hang out in my inbox. If we were buds before I left and you have now changed URLs, please let me know who you are because my forgetful ass has forgotten everything associated with this account. Thaaaanks!

College Diaries
The energetic howls of youngsters were audible from outside the classroom. I had been sitting behind those four walls hoping someone would come and slay the emptiness. Or is this an oxymoron? Class being empty even though I was in it? My classmates were more interested in watching the football match outside rather than taking the lecture. I was wondering where Dibbu was, my gay best friend. And just then he appeared, smiling like an idiot.
“Oye Dubbey! Let’s go to the canteen. “ he said.
“Are you alright? Dibbu missing a lecture, did you snort a white salt like substance perhaps? “ , then he made that sarcastic emoji face 😑 just like WhatsApp. I doubt you will believe me if I told you he practices every one of those emoji faces, because I once told him I didn’t believe anybody could do all of them.
“I wouldn’t if there actually would be a lecture, but that’s not the case and instead Rahul is giving birthday party in the canteen, and it is a four-pound cake as far as I could guess, I thought you might be interested, bhukkhad that you are!”
“If you insist” I smiled innocently.
“No I don’t incest, this isn’t your Game of Thrones.” He made that sarcastic emoji face again. “You really don’t get accents, do ya bruh? I said Insist.” I tried the face-palm emoji in the latest update.
Then we hurried towards the canteen, bhukkhads that we were. Meanwhile my civilized self wondered whether showing up for someone’s party who I seldom said hello to, was ok or not. but it’s never too late to say hello, so when I saw him standing amongst those strange faces and some known faces from the class, I gave him the best ‘we are buddies’ smile I could muster and croaked, “ happy birthday Rahul”. Oopsie Daisy that went a tad too energetic, and people noticed, specifically those from my class. I prayed to the angel of death to come and take-
“Hey Rahul! Is that cake eggless? It’s a Tuesday you see.” Interrupted Dibbu, Lord bless his soul. Not that I was worried about the cake having eggs, nobody uses real eggs nowadays. It wasn’t like we were jeopardizing the future of a future-chicken, so any day was fine by me. I really think it’s impossible to be a vegan around here, being a vegetarian is hard work enough.
While I was musing the knife had been arranged, and everybody had formed a circle around the centre of the canteen (and our universe), the tempting, seductive, chocolate-cake. Then I noticed Dibbu had left my side and moved closer towards the cake. I felt betrayed as if he was eyeing my crush. Well, that might actually happen someday.
It was high time now and the precious moment had arrived. The knife was raised, the air crackled with energy and something darker, mischief. Oh I knew what was coming as I noticed the glinting eyes of the inner circle around the cake, some of it would be on the birthday boy’s cheeks after the cake slaughter was finished. That has become a ritual nowadays. And then the deed was done, it was something supernatural. I still cannot grasp what happened in the next few seconds, and therefore I cannot explain it. It’s a blur, all I remember is that one second the cake was there and the very next second it wasn’t. It disappeared. A few more seconds passed, and as I adjusted to my surroundings, I could make out bits of cake on-
“Oh my God! I bought these loafers yesterday!!! My mother is going to kill me. And all for nothing, we didn’t even get the cake.” whined Dibbu, and I stood there guffawing like a madman. His jacket and shoes were ruined. And I found it so amusing as I watched him bicker and clean himself gently with his hanky, his face red with fury. And then suddenly he wasn’t angry anymore, he looked at me and started smirking. I wondered whether the traumatic experience had turned him into a maniac. And then the smirks turned into something wild. And then I got it, I looked down and the reality set in. Karma, it finds you every time and bites you.

The robot Farrokh Valentino was created in a lab to produce endless radio-gaga for the corporation that created him. But he wanted to break free, and ended up spreading his wings when he traveled about living on his own.
He’s a killer queen, though there is some innuendo that he’s in love with his car or that he’s some mister-bad-guy, but he has an attitude that’s made in heaven and a voice to match, whether it be a day at the races or a night at the opera where he’s the star.
Though this all came from his lips, so perhaps his story might be darker than he’s letting on.... Oh whatever, the show must go on!
Yes, well enough Queen puns, this is basically my ink/colorjob of a design @polygonalfish made for a Vocaloid based on Freddie Mercury, specifically his badass costume from the Made In Heaven music video, and created for a specific purpose.
Now, Vocaloid’s cousin, Utau, where you can make Vocaloid-y programs out of voiceclips (though only out of ones you own, none from other people’s sources) has had problems with blacklisting soundalike (IE made to mimic the voices of others but not using any actual clips from them but rather a good imitation by the creator) UTAUs, but the most notorious ones; Inbeida Jimu and Memuburein Dibbu; were done in because they used the specific likenesses of those characters.
So, if you made an original character for; say; a Freddie Mercury-soundalike/impersonator UTAULoid without ripping off the actual Freddie’s copyrighted likeness, you prooooobably wouldn’t get blacklisted, as long as you didn’t step on any other toes/directly stated it was just an impersonator/soundalike and not the real thing.
And that’s what Farrokh is for!
So, with permission, any creator, especially UTAUloid-makers is free to use this character as long as I, Thomas F. Johnson, and Polygonalfish am credited as their co-creators.
And while it’s not a requirement per-say, I’d ideally hope if one makes an UTAU out of this, they put it under a similar license, to avoid the Orphan Works problem regarding the use of other interesting UTAUs for profit like Pumpking or Erusalem.
And also a powerbank. Any proper Freddie-expy’s gotta have a powerbank...
