listening to the christmas playlist I made at 18 this morning: oh this is far too sad!
listening to it now while having my annual christmas cry: 18 year old me was right. she was so right
#it’s actually been a pretty lovely christmas and I’m so grateful for getting to spend the day with my parents. it’s just my uncle got#diagnosed with cancer yesterday and the last proper christmas we had before the two lockdown ones was w our family friends one of whom#passed away this year. and my mum said something about feeling like my friend’s family only invites us to new years every year bc they felt#too awkward to stop doing it. which made me cry bc new years w their family has been my favourite yearly tradition since I was like 9 years#old and the thought they might not actually have wanted us there really plays into my actually all ur friends think ur annoying and no one#wants you here <3 insecurity#and I want to call my gf but I can’t bc they’re busy. so we’re listening to hard candy christmas and crying like God intended#tw negative#lil.txt
