It’s the birthday of a certain novelist today! So naturally, a gift addressed to him has arrived.

It was a black velvet box with green ribbon containing two things: a rose gold wristwatch, and a locket bracelet whose chain is made out of rose-shaped beads, alongside these two accessories is a handwritten note.

Happy birthday darling Kei! I made these just for you! 😗

I wonder if we could talk a bit more often…

Kei was sitted on his desk looking at the black velvet box and it's jewels with... feelings

Although apparently he was looking at the wristwatch and the bracalet indifferent his cheeks was pink due to the blush and Kei can hear his own heart for how strong it's beating

Carefully,almost trembling he touch the detailed rose bracalet. It was so beautiful...the watch too but roses always was his favorite flowers

-"he made this for me?"-Kei thought and notices his eyes glowing with tears that not fallen

This maybe was the first time someone make something for him

And more important...the gift was from the person who make his heart beat and provoke in Kei feelings he never thought can experiment before

Reading the note again he almost said something like a "EEK!" similar to his adoptive younger brother

But Kei was incredibily happy (and blushed) as while he read the note again

"i need to go more to echizen! I definitely want to talk more with Nishio"-Kei thought and go to his beloved bed looking at the accesories with a soft (and loving) smile

"we should say him his door it's open and we can see him?-

"of course not"

"i guess you have reason...Kei looks very happy too,from who it's the gift?"

"i don't know but judging by his reaction...the lucky person who stole his heart"

Tomi's Thoughts on Kōfu Division

Reiji Enjouji

Tomi looks at the photo of the idol, a deep frown on his face as he crushes the picture in his hand. "Since my brother left our family household, I've had to... hide my interactions with him less my parents find out. That is one headache I do not need to deal with at the present time. But anyway, during one of our interactions, he revealed to me about a certain idol who almost caused him and his betrothed to wind up dead. Why? ...I don't know the full story, but apparently, this peon caused some confusion at the school they were attending and used Kunio and his friend as, in my brother's words, 'the fall guys'. From the way he spoke, it almost cost him his life."

Tomi opens his hand and looks at the photo again, which is crumpled up. "Now that I take a good look at him, I think I do recognize this peasant from one of the soirees' I attended. I questioned who in their right mind invited this peon, but knowing him, he probably bribed his way onto the guest list. But that's besides the point. The point is, if this fool believes that he can get away harming a member of the Chōten family, whether they live with us or not, he is sorely mistaken. And he will pay for the mistake, I promise you that."

Kei Himeno

Tomi looks at the photo of the novelist, a crease in his eyebrows, as if remembering something. "Strange. Why does this individual look so familiar? Was it at a gala? ...No. Hmm..." Tomi continues looking at the photo, trying to remember where he recalls this young man from. He looks at his name, focusing on it, before a light goes off in his head.

"Ah. Now I recall. 'Kei Himeno'. He was one of the lesser servants who worked under Hino-san. I didn't pay him much attention, but Hino-san spoke highly of him, so I deigned to greet him when I saw him. I didn't notice immediately when he disappeared, but Hino-san stated that he was 'dismissed' by my parents."

This makes Tomi sigh and shake his head. "I can only guess what being 'dismissed' means..."

Ayame Kurokawa

"The only one from this team that I don't have any prior knowledge of. I think he works as an artist or something. My mother mentioned that she may have purchased some jewels from him, but I've never heard of him, so he is beneath my notice."

Diabolik Night

"I'd like to say this team is just another group of peons who were unfortunate enough to be dragged into this D.R.B., but considering I know 2/3 of them, I suppose that puts them on a higher scale than the others. I've nothing against Himeno, and Kurokawa, as stated, is beneath my notice. But Enjouji..."

Tomi takes the still-crumpled up photo of the idol and tosses it into a nearby fireplace, letting the flames turn it into ash.

"...I know I'm not the ideal 'big brother', but I'll play the part just this once for my younger sibling, and dish out some punishment on you for him. You'll see firsthand what happens when you mess with anything that is mine. Do you understand? ...Don't bother answering. Because I promise you, you will when we meet, you worthless peon."

Kai's Thoughts on Kōfu Division

Reiji Enjouji

"Despite him being an idol, I don't fully know Reiji, a.k.a. 'Tenshi' all that well. I've produced some of his songs and offered him some advice as far as his music goes, but that's about the extent of our relationship. Truthfully, and I say this as nicely as I possibly can, there's something about this young man that I don't like. He seems charming in public, but I've observed how he'll often manipulate people to do what he wants, or simply because he can. That's why I don't bother dealing with people like him. I produce your music, but that's it. Anything else, I want nothing to do with."

Kei Himeno

"'Briar Rose', if I'm not mistaken. I've read some of his works. Many of them revolve around romances, most of which are dark or about fantasy. Truthfully, they're not what I'd normally read, but some of them are interesting. Other than that, I don't know much about him. He seems focused and serious, but... well, one shouldn't judge a book by its cover, as they say."

Ayame Kurokawa

"He's probably the only one from this team that I know very well, and that's cause my wife often hires him to perform with her. I'm not sure how they met, but she introduced him to me as her partner, so I created a routine for him and Mireya to dance too. Surprisingly, it was well-received. My wife invited him back, but from what I know, he does dancing only as a side job, preferring to paint. I've not seen any of his paintings, but I'll have to look them up when I get the chance."

Diabolik Love

"I have to admit, aside from Ayame, this team doesn't exactly feel me with the best of intentions. And the team name isn't exactly helping. I don't fully know what their intentions or reasons are for entering this tournament. But regardless, if we have to face them, then we shall."

🐉 Malleus was not pleased in the slightest with what he was seeing.

🐉 You were standing beneath six men. Two had matching purple hair, two had red hair, one with blonde, and one with white and hints of pink.

🐉 He stood there and glared for a while, he knew who these men were, and what they had wanted.

🐉 Behind you was a female, maybe around late teens like you guys, but, unlike you with your stone-cold facial expression, her eyes shone with fear.

🐉 Malleus walked up and blasted the six men away from the two of you with his magic.

🐉 He heard as they stood up and groaned, one yelling at him something along the lines of, “How dare you mess with Your’s Truly?! I’ll have your head for this!”

🐉 Malleus just turned around after securing you and Yui with his tail, glaring at the men with the smallest pupils and brightest green glowing eyes.

🐉 His magic was testing the limit at the moment, anyone in a mere 5 mile radius must be feeling an earthquake.

“ Who are you exactly? And- ”

🐉 “And what are you doing with them?! They’re ours, you slimy lizard-man!” One red-haired male interrupted the fancier purple one.

“ Malleus, stand down. ”

🐉 He flinched at your touch and looked down at you from ahead. He kept his stern look, eyebrows furrowed as the finer-appearing purple-haired one walked up to them, his brothers following suit.

🐉 “My apologies on behalf of my astoundingly dumb brothers, I am Reiji Sakamaki, and those,” he pointed towards you and Yui, “are our human brides. I apologize, but you must be mistaking them with other people.”

🐉 Your boyfriend stood there and just growled under his breath, “I did not mistake them for other people, this,” he patted your head, “Is my S/O.”

🐉 “And this,” his tail wrapped tighter, more protectively around your sister, “Is my S/O’s sister. Now, I recommend you leave this vicinity, else I get mad.”

🐉 The other purple haired boy laughed wickedly, “And if you do get mad? What are you going to do? Stab us? Burn us at the streak? Pour ‘holy’ water down our bodies? How sad, that doesn’t work~”

🐉 Malleus’s stance grew very stiff, his magic growing in his hands, fire teasing the fingertips you loved to grab and kiss before resting after a midnight walk around Ramshackle while Yuu and Grim laid asleep.

“ Mr. Draconia! What is the meaning of this?! ”

🐉 “Waka-sama! Who are these men? Did they dare try harming you?! How dare you try harming Waka-sama?!” Sebek’s familiar tone rings through Crewel’s stern one.

🐉 “Backup? How sad, I guess we’ll just have to go through them all, huh, Ayato?” Laito teased. Ayato turned to his brother and smirked, “It seems so, Laito.”

🐉 “Enough!” Trein’s voice screamed, his wand out, wrapping the six brothers up in tight magic-made bubbles.

🐉 “Y/N, who are these men?” Silver asked you. You just glared at them, causing them to tense up, you had never glared at them with such fierceness before, it kinda made them a mixture of intimidated and turned on.

🐉 “They are the people who ridded my sister of her life, the one person, the only one, who I held in my heart.” You answered, making your fellow Night Raven College students shiver with your dark tone.

🐉 Malleus sighed deeply, causing slight amounts of smoke to exit his nose and mouth. He was getting angrier by the second they floated there in their separate bubbles.

🐉 “What do we do with them?” Ace asked.

“ Punish them. Get rid of them. Whatever causes the most pain. ”

🐉 Yui spoke up and grabbed your hand, reaching over Malleus’ tail. 

“ Did you say I died? ”

🐉 The brothers began to scream, but not before a male’s cheery-sounding voice echoed over Yui’s soft one.

🐉 “Well, well, well. What have we here? My dearest Y/N, aren’t these the men who harmed you back in your world?” Crowley asked.

🐉 You sighed and nodded as his smile grew more and more forced-appearing.

🐉 “Well, thankfully, we have a spare room in the basement where each of these unfortunate boys can stay.” He answered.

🐉 “Crowley, are you sure that’s the smartest idea?” Crewel asked, assisting Trein in holding the boy’s bubbles intact and keeping their voices muted.

“ Certainly. ”

Introduction

Kei Himeno also know by his moniker Briar Rose is a novelist and the second member of Kõfu's division team Diabolik Night

At first glance this serious and misterious novelist could be consider as the opposite of the joy and eccentric Reiji but under the surface he's equal or a bit more manipulative than him and is who Reiji trust to reseach his goals

But some knowed only for certain people is his past as a servant for the family Chōten where he suffered distint type of abuses that, luckily not affected him very much at least not in a physical sent so was a huge shock for the upper class to see him again on a gathering in Aoyama, this time as a famous novelist and member of the Enjouji family

Another hiding thing from others is that he's also looking for someone,neither Reiji or Ayame knows who because Kei deny to talk about it and only call that person "his light"

Kei is a fair skinned youngman of a height a bit shorter than Eichi with greyish green hair to the shoulders with some down locks held by a diamond hairpin and a single curl falling to his chest,his eyes has long eyelashes and a color unusual being segmentaries,with the low part of emerald green and the upper part of his eyes being gold yellow. he also use black glasses and red lipgloss but the most llamative is the scard on his left eye

His mainly outfit consist of a black shirt that shows his clavicle and a gray jacket with gold details and a pin with a broken heart,his lower body is covered by black dress pants and black heeled boots

Kei's rap ability it's called "sweet dream", with his ability Kei rap some verses who make his opponents "sleep" although it's more a trance

His rap can be darker when Kei rap about his "war crimes" as "Reiji's right hand" and all his manipulations he do until today,his verses are also around his hates for the family that "made him a slave" and the abuse suffered by they hands and talk about a his special one as "a light who gived him hope" and how Kei will looking for "his light's love"

Personality

Kei well could be called Reiji's complete opposite,foccused,calm and earnest

Another opposite beetwen them is the fact that Kei thinks carefully on his actions and manipulations and he actually feel dislike for how Reiji often do and manipulate following a "easy path" that's almost always is the most cold-blooded (although Kei don't deny the entertaiment) and although he's also manipulative isn't completely indifferent to the aftermaths of his own actions

Although he will to deny it, Kei in the deep is quite romantic but after years of abuse and be treated as a servant (and even abused) he don't know how express that part of him talking so he do it writing, although his romantic novels are often "darkers" than normal saccharine books in reflect of his twisted point of view about love

About that, Kei knows about love but not exactly a good type,things like have a abusive biológical family who not minded his sister death, and they in a moment basically sell him to the Chōten family,to be used as a servant -practically a slave- left him with a distortioned and twisted point of view about love, so he have weakness with people who treat him in a nice and warmth way

That part of him also did Kei was protective of that people,if someone hurt them he don't have mercy,manipulating and even hurting all with the goal of ruin their lives with no regret

Kei's novels are "dark romance" books that sometimes are supernatural but besides the part of "dark" his novels shows erotic plots and the love interest is often a type of yandere

Kei is considered as "Reiji's right hand"

Kei's Author/MC name and his speakers make references to the fairytale "the sleeping beauty"

Although the abuse he suffered by Chōten family he don't feel dislike for Tomi or Kunio Chōten and even now Kei still calling them "masters"

Beetwen his teammates Kei is the most reservate about his darling, neither Reiji or Ayame knows anything about them,not their name or if is man or woman

Although Kei deny it,he feel fascination for fire but not for pyromania, that fascination towards it his a coping mechanism to his sister who death freezed

Besides that,how Kei was freezing by her side, since the accident Kei always feel cold but is a more psychological sensation

Not, Kunio is not kei's darling, sorry if that if is dissapointing

"I know next to nothing about this guy. Tomi says he's some idol or something. Sheesh, what's with all of the so-called pretty boys who know how to sing and dance coming out of the woodwork lately? Get a real job, you copycats!

"I don't know this guy either. Tomi says, besides being a novelist, which is a boring-as-hell job, he used to serve his family or something. ...I'll admit, that's kind of a shock considering how young he looks. How old was he when he got hired to work for Tomi's family?"

Ayame Kurokawa

"I... I think I remember this guy, though at the time I thought he was a 'she'. Don't judge me, okay?! I don't get all of these girly-looking men that are appearing lately. It's hard to know which is which! Anyway, I was coming back from the gym and I saw him dancing on the street corner or something. He looked hot and I was going to talk to him, till I saw another guy taking him away. ...Honestly, I'm kinda glad he did, otherwise I'd embarrassed myself!"

"So these guys are another new team, huh? Nothing really at all interesting about them, though. Tomi says he's got a bone to pick with the leader, though. Apparently, he messed with his younger brother or something. Peh, all I have to say is, I hate to be you, pal!"
