Taking Her - dark Veela Draco

The Veela inside Draco has been watching Hermione Granger for a long time. She was made for him.

And if Draco won't do anything about it, the Veela decides that he'll handle everything himself.

He’s only been this patient for this long because blending in as Draco Malfoy is critical. If anybody knew that his host no longer has any independence within his own mind, the concept would throw Veelas firmly out of Being territory and into the Beast category forevermore. That’s unappetising to the Veela – not because he cares much for Wizarding law, but it would impact his ability to collect and keep a witch for a mate. No one would let a Beast possess and dominate a witch, much less a witch like Hermione Granger. They all have to believe that Granger is with Draco Malfoy of her own accord. And he’d much prefer that no one knows Draco Malfoy is host to the most powerful male Veela this century. Maybe even this millennia.

A dark Dramione one shot inspired by the legend of La Llorona

Summary: “There are several versions of the legend. The most common one in this area is the version of La Llorona who cries for her children, that’s where the name comes,” the young man said.

“What happened to her children?” she asked through the tightening of her throat.

“She drowned them.”

In her haste to run away from the grief that plagues her life, Hermione finds herself in a foreign land where reality and myth intertwine, and she is forced to face fear itself.

“So it was you” he slowly walks up to her, he is past the table when her fingertips reach out for the pelt hoping the movement goes unnoticed, it doesn’t. He flings himself against her taking her by the arm holding tight his other hand goes directly to her neck as he drives her against a wall. Her skull hits the stone and her entire body vibrates with the impact, gritting her teeth she snarls at him. “Why?” His long fingers close around her throat pressing against her skin she can feel as they leave a mark. He leans in close to her ear, the scent of pine and something deep and intense, earthy. “I could so easily break you, fragile like a little sparrow” he presses his thumb into the curve of her jaw and neck.“But first answer me, why ?”

I’m really proud of the work that goes into this fic it is a lovely wretched thing.

Wondering where Draco swam off to, Hermione went on a quest to look for her lost love. Entangled within the nets of his captors, she found Draco exhausted yet relieved to see her face. Held within his hand was a treasure that he knew was perfect and created just for her.

My take on the prompt “I’ve been waiting for you for centuries” is the best & deliciously dramatic line from Bram Stoker’s Dracula: “I have crossed oceans of time to find you.” And so I give you romance novel style Vampire Draco whispering this onto the neck of his beloved.
