Im running into the stage banging the floor demanding to know about the band au as you speak /hj

reveal yourself band au anon, I wish to know who you are cause you’ve allowed me to ramble

I haven’t figure it all out so this is kinda just spitballing ideas lol

Warning long ass post holy moly

So the band au is kinda written like Clone high, I treat it like one of those really serious romance dramas, except the band au is more just relationship focused instead of strictly romance, also there’s a lot of drama

I’ve come up with four main bands at the moment :3

The Grim Reapers - an underground goth band with Coffin as the bassist and Tissue box as the (main) vocalist, they’re most well known for their songs being about pretty grim subject matter, though they’re probably the least popular out the four main bands

Electric Current - A pop-punk family band with Electracey on the electric guitar, Elevator Speaker on the Bass guitar, Laptop on Drums, and Colin on vocals, they have a very futuristic theme and are by far the most popular band out of the four

Malcolm’s Angels - a band started by Shrignold the head of a love “organization” to help spread the gospel of Malcolm, their music is mostly folk type music, with Unicorn on the harp, Frog boy on the flute, Rabbit boy on the mandolin, and Shrignold on guitar and vocals, the other members of the “organization” are also there, to they just aren’t part of the band, but some of them are on the marketing team

Fly To The Stars - i also refer to them as “the rejects”, an obviously space themed rock band, with Gilbert on guitar, Solar system on the keyboard, Magnet on bass guitar, and Lamp as the lead guitarist

there’s also other characters that aren’t in bands but are still pretty important to the main story like

sketchbook - A young college student, currently studying art, she’s a big fan of Electric Current with her favorite member being Electracey, she’s also roomies with Tony

Tony “Anthony” Clock - An older college student studying history, roomies with Sketch and also a small solo music artist in his spare time (hehe)

saxophone - A music artists who’s songs are usually canoe related, has gained a small cult following due to this

Warren W. Eagle - Local homeless person, usually spotted around dumpsters, can play a pretty mean keyboard solo though

there’s more important characters but I these are the ones I’ve currently planned out (Saxophone isn’t really important though, I just found the concept I had for him funny)

and finally, some miscellaneous facts that I can’t fit anywhere else in this incoherent ramble

The two main locations are Clayhill and Mullhoven, though Mullhoven in this au has become a bigger city, well Clayhill has kept its gated community status

The main three do have a minor role in this au, with them being know as the “weird” residents in town, some situation always seems to be happening to them wether that be their house burning down or finding their pillowcases full of ham

Electracey and Sketchbook are both college age with them both being 17

Laptop on the other hand is a highschooler, being 15 years old

All the characters are humanoids, they basically have human proportion’s but still have some of their weird puppet feaures

Lesley is Electric Current’s manager, though it’s not her only job according to her, she won’t tell much about herself, she likes the game of mystery

Electracey’s name in this au is just Tracey, Laptop’s is Lapis, and Elevator Speakers is Alexa

Colin, Laptop, and Electracey are all siblings, Colin being oldest, Tracey being middle, and Laptop being youngest, well Elevator Speaker is their cousin

Tissue box is fine with her and Coffins band being pretty unknown, but Coffin wish’s they could be as popular as some of the others, and he will do anything to make that happen

Laptop is a big fan of Hatsune Miku and and makes references to her in some of Electric Currents songs when it’s her turn to write one

DHMIS Week, Day 1: Creativity/Jobs

Okay I know I've been drawing a lot of Susan lately, but I swear this concept actually originated with Charles, but I gotta redo the drawing since it's old. So for now, here you go

I always thought this quote fits really well with the entire brand of the Domestic K-9 AU. Because despite everything, including the severe PTSD and other mental illnesses, they're ultimately still themselves.

Anyways, have some notes:

Susan is 6'1" and the Banny animatronic is 7'6"

I've been fiddling with how I've been drawing the animatronics because I want them to be big and bulky and broad compared to a human, but to a point where it doesn't feel comically exaggerated, if that makes sense? I figure Banny would be given a tall, blocky figure with no curves, besides the hips

But tbf, everyone's hips are flared like that in order to compensate for how top heavy the animatronics are (all those speakers and computers and complex mechanics, ya know?) It's also why every single one of these fuckers have a wide stance and tree trunks for legs

It's why walking is a bit of a learning curve, not because the action itself is hard, but you have to keep in mind the off center balance and wider stance. Doesn't give 'em much trouble once they figure it out, though

Susan already knows all this because she got the free trial

Speaking of Susan, I do want to emphasize that she didn't use to be so angry and snippish all the time. Before her death, she was more like Red Guy from DHMIS if he was, like, 10% less chill. But once again, trauma does funky things to people!

Aww hell yeah first day of ageretober!

🎃 Pumpkins 🎃

Shovel always loved fall. The pumpkins, the leaves, the cool weather, and the general autumnal aesthetic always put Shovel in a goid mood. But she loved fall even more so when she was regressed.

That morning she awoke in her big girl bed right beside Elevator but today, she felt like being little. Shovel stretched and turned to her sleeping mama, shaking Elevator awake.

"Psst, mama wake up!!!" Shovel giggled as she poked Elevator.

"Hmmm? What is it, love?" Elevator stirred slightly and murmured in her half asleep state.

"Mama, pumpkin patch today! Can go? Pleeeease? Please Mama?!" Shovel begged as she loomed over Elevator, waiting for her to wake up.

"Hm? Mama-oh! You're little today. Well let mama get up and ready then we can go to the pumpkin patch." Elevator pushed Shovel aside slightly and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She sat up and looked over to Shovel, booping Shovel's nose. Shovel erupted into giggles and Elevator smiled at her.

Shovel yipped happily and ran to the closet to pick out her outfit. She emerged wearing shorts and a tanktop despite the cool weather. Elevator looked over as she was putting on her coat and tisked.

"Little, you may not think it but you'll get cold like that. Here, let me pick out your outfit and help you get ready." Elevator said, patting Shovel on the head. She rummaged through Shovel's bin for little space clothes and found Shovel's puppy sweater, some warm fuzzy pants, and a scarf with little paw prints on it. Shovel got dressed and rushed to the door but Elevator pulled her back.

"Ah ah! Little one, we still need to brush your teeth and comb your hair." Elevator said. Shovel let out a disappointed whine.

"Now now little lady, you need to look presentable for your fun day at the pumpkin patch. What kinda mama would I be if I let you run amuck with matted hair and dirty teeth?" Elevator told Shovel as she sat Shovel down in front of the mirror. She brushed Shovel's teeth then pulled out the hair brush. Elevator hummed a soft tune as she brushed out Shovel's hair and sighed once she finished.

"There! All cute and ready to go to the pumpkin patch with your mama! Cmon cmon! Mama's going to go get your leash so you don't wander off and then we'll be good to go! Shovel sat by the bedroom door wearing her warm and cozy clothes and her little black boots. Elevator returned with what looked like a toddler leash and harness but meant for adults and she strapped it onto Shovel.

After about 30 minutes of driving with Shovel in the passenger seat, the two arrived at the annual Mulhoven pumpkin patch. It was early in the season so there was almost no one there besides the ticket salesperson. Elevator helped Shovel out of her seat and they both walked towards the ticket both until Shovel realized something that caused her immense distress. The pumpkin patch required a ticket and that meant that Elevator would would be spending money on her.

Shovel stopped in her tracks and started pulling on her leash, trying to go back to the car.

"Oh what's wrong, little?" Elevator turned to see what Shovel was getting so worked up about.

"No! No no no! No waste money on me!" Shovel stomped, upset. Elevator walked towards Shovel and hugged her tight.

"Oh, sweetheart, I like spending money on you! I like making you happy and spoiling you. Don't feel bad!" Elevator stroked Shovel's head.

"But! But!" Shovel tried to protest but Elevator shushed her.

"But nothing. Mama works hard and doesn't need to worry about money and neither do you. Cmon little, let's go pick out a pumpkin!" Elevator said, dragging Shovel along. She walked up to the tired and dejected looking ticket worker. Elevator pulled out a couple of notes from her pocket. Shovel looked uncomfortable but went along with Elevator, not allowing herself to be dragged by the harness.

The two entered the pumpkin patch and Shovel immediately lit up. She tugged at her leash as she tried to run and frolic through the pumpkins.

"Now now little, pick a pumpkin. Any one that you like! Oh, and just for fun mama will pick out a pumpkin too! That way we can have one for you to carve and one for a pie!" Elevator said, ruffling Shovel's hair. Shovel led Elevator along as she searched for the perfect pumpkin. Alas, she found one! It was a bright shade of orange and nearly perfectly round. There was no dents or bug holes or anything on the surface, just smooth pumpkin. Shovel pointed at the pumpkin and yipped to Elevator.

"Oh, you want that one?" Shovel nodded vigorously in response to her question. Elevator picked up the pumpkin and handed it off to Shovel who squealed happily. Elevator decided to pick a pumpkin right by her feet as her pie pumpkin.

"Well little one, we've picked out our pumpkins! Cmon, let's go home, I'm sure you're quite tired from the adventure we've had today!" Elevator said as she led Shovel back to the car. They got in and drove home.  Shovel dutifully held her pumpkin in the passenger seat.

30 minutes of driving later, they were home. Elevator took off Shovel's harness and Shovel plopped herself down on the couch for a nice nap. Elevator sat down next to Shovel with an tired huff and Shovel curled up beside Elevator. Shovel was safe, she was loved, she was with her favorite person, and she had a pumpkin that she would carve later. She was happy and content as she drifted off to sleep in Elevator's lap.

Hi, me and my friend had this idea and we wanted to ask if you could do it.

Coffin (Dhmis) x Teacher Reader who is completely made of fire.

(maybe the reader can teach the dangers and the benefits of fire or something like that).

We also imagined this scene where the reader kisses Coffin on the cheek and (because he's made of wood) a kiss-shaped burn remains.

Actually, your grammer and spelling is better than some native speakers.

-Fire teaching how dangerous fire is, is that ironic or bragging? Actually, that sounds more like a history class.

-Regardless, Coffin was of course very kind when meeting you.

-He's not one to judge appearances, but you kinda scared him at first.

-You're made out of fire, he's made out of wood. That doesn't seem to mix very well.

-I don't think that if you asked him on a date not long after meeting him it would go something thing like...

-"Oh wow, hey, I don't know you very well, so not right now, m'kay?"

- So, you'd have to get VERY well acquainted with him before you can start trying to make a move.

-After you two start actually dating, he's not as scared of you as he was before.

-The burn makes however, kinda bother him. He loves your affection and doesn't want to make it seem like he's brushing your kisses away, but he tells you to limit them since it can be sometimes painful and difficult to remove.

-He's happy you care for him so much and show him this affection, just tone it down and he'll be content.

-(I don't know what else to say)
