#dhmis has so many little details its wild this one just feels the most thematically important to me

This is kind of a DHMIS spoiler but it happens in ep 2: Death

I thought everyone in the main tag was ignoring it but i saw someone who didnt even notice it so im pointing it out: duck guy didn't kill Stain at the end. Stain killed duck guy. My evidence? Well.

Stain was standing on the left before the "4 of us" sequence.

During "4 of us" we see Stain and duck guy each have a photo on the fridge. Stain's photo has him smudging around with pink goo, duck guy's has him using a power drill

After the sequence, left duck kills right duck. The dont seem to have moved around much...

After ep 2, duck guy's photo disappears from the intro sequence. Stain's photo remains

Anyway. It feels extremely thematically important that Stain, the replacement duck, is the survivor of ep 2. The show depicts mourning and replacement quite often, and i can feel myself trying to spin this one detail out into a whole analysis. Maybe sometime, idk

Edit: just rewatched the first episode's intro sequence. Duck's fridge picture is the one i thought was Stain's. I guess theory busted? Oops 😂
