My work for 2023 mini bang for the fic Dirk Gently's Holistic Adventuring Party by @7crowsinadress. I just fell in with love their ideas, fantasy AU has always been my soft-spot, I guess was very lucky to get paired with them XD This was really fun to draw as well!

So this is my first time joining in a dghda bang. Thanks to all the people who contributed and made this bang happened *cheers* @dghdabigbang

This is my entry for @dghdabigbang this year! This is the first bang I’ve ever participated in, and it was loads of fun.

I was super privileged to get to work with @marizetta who put together some INCREDIBLE ART (seriously go look at it rn)!!

The dghda mini bang must have done something to my brain because I was hit by sudden inspiration two days ago and accidentaly made the Wendimoor castle. It's defeninitly not an exact replica though as I don't have the time or talent to do that.

DGHDA Mini Bang 2023

Hello from new mods kp and kate! We are super excited to be organizing a small bang this year, kicking off now and wrapping up in July. Huge thanks to the previous mods for transferring over this blog as the new source for announcements and updates <3

If you've never done a Bang before, check out the FAQs here! The suggested word count for this event is 1-5k, with 1 accompanying art piece. There are about 3 months to complete the Bang.

Hi all! It's been a couple years but wanted to gauge interest for a potential DGHDA Mini-Bang. Writers would submit 1-5k and be paired with an artist who would submit one illustration of their work. Timeline would be 3-4 months with check-ins along the way.

We have about 10 artists/writers currently interested, not including beta readers / pinch hitters / cheerleaders, and we're looking for more! If there's enough interest I'll try to organize something :)

So excited to be posting the first of two works for the @dghdabigbang minibang! Getting to work with @rustystars was a blast, and while life got in the way a little, I'm very pleased with what we are able to share with y'all!

Rusty's writing was incredibly evocative to me, and I just couldn't help myself but animate a gif to go along with the wonderful "o sweet rot"!

What an appropriate time to rise from the dead.  It’s Halloween! My piece for @dghdabigbang is ready! It’s an illustration for @whatevsbla ‘s amazing fic “The Interconnectedness of Death and Game Nights”. For the first time I worked with another fellow russian-speaker so it really was a great time for me personally. Now goooooo and read it! Thanks to the Mods (as always) for keeping it all fun and spooky.

My 11k "mini" Bang fic for the DGHDA 2023 event is posted! It's great, just to toot my own horn a bit.

Summary:

Todd finds Dirk after Riggins confronts him at the Ridgely building at the end of 1x03, and unknowingly helps him calm down. And a somewhat parallel scene after the end of the S2 case where Todd and Dirk are resting at Hobbs’ house and take comfort with each other.

Getting to work with @greycedetective on this was a dream come true, their fic idea here was the best thing I could have been matched on. I had so much fun with the premise from day one.

And of course, thank you to the mod team of @dghdabigbang for the energy and effort on this event! This was an awesome first experience <3
