i saw @falkreathh​ do this and i wanted to do it for valiane.

What is your name? “Valiane.”

What is your real name? “That is the name I have been called for most of my life. It is the name I have grown to associate with. Whether another name was given to me at birth, I cannot know. It is also the name with which you will refer to me.”

Do you know why you were called that? "I was told it was a variation of my aunt’s name. I cannot verify the validity of that statement, since, to my memory, I have never met my aunt.”

Are you single or taken? “I am not currently in a relationship. However, if that should change, I will never truly be ‘taken.’”

Have any abilities or powers? "My skill in Alteration nears the expertise of Altmeri high masters. It is my life’s pride, and will continue to be.”

Stop being a Mary Sue. "I just told you that I have worked every day of my life to hone this ability to a point. Do not call me overly competent, I doubt that you have dedicated your life to anything in the way I have.”

What’s your eye colour? “Light green. I do not see the value in asking this question, because if you looked closer at my face, you could find out for yourself.”

How about your hair colour? "It is near-white. It was not always like this.”

Have you any family members? "Possibly. I’m sure they are living their lives, unaware that the daughter whom they discarded has grown to flourish. Or perhaps they have succumbed to the horrors of the world, such as they left me to.”

Oh? What about pets? “I do not keep pets at the moment. In Daggerfall, I had a lovely grey cat. I left her with my newest apprentice when I transferred. It could remind him of me, I supposed.”

That’s cool I guess, now tell me about something you don’t like. "I do not like when I am forced in a small, dingy room with a request to answer pointless questions.”

Do you have any hobbies/activities you like doing? "I keep a personal journal, where I sort my thoughts. I enjoy looking at the homes currently on the market, sometimes touring them along with the potential buyers. I take care of my appearance and presentation, too. It can be reassuring to have that constant in life.”

Ever hurt anyone before? “I have hurt people before, with no intentions of malice, just inadvertence. I regret every time.”

Ever… killed anyone before? "I was a Kestrel, a Thalmor assassin. That was a long time ago, and although that period was a welcome time in my life, I do not wish to go back. I can tell you’re apprehensive. We do not kill out of hatred or bloodlust. It’s as accepted within the Isles as my current work in diplomacy. Do not compare it to your criminal guilds, it shares no similarities.”

What kind of animal are you? “I am a person, not an animal.”

Name your worst habits. "I would say I am excessively frugal. It is not a habit I intend to break.”

Do you look up to anyone at all? "When I was young, I’d say I looked up to my mentors. Looking back, I find it hard to see how they were different from myself. It’s different to be subordinate in practice and to genuinely admire somebody.”

Gay, straight, or bisexual? "I do not tend to talk about my sexual interests in such a public setting. If you were to press me, which I will not make you do, I would say that I am interested in being with men. That is it.”

Do you go to school? "Not at the moment. I went to formal schooling, apart from Thalmor apprenticeship, for three years. School on the Isles is rumored to be an enlightening experience, and I’d confirm the rumors. Despite that, I do not intend to step foot in there again.”

Do you ever want to marry and have kids one day? “I’d enjoy raising a child. Seeing them grow to adulthood and beyond under my wing...I would find it joyful and exciting. And I’d also love to commit myself to a husband one day. Today is not when I’ll do either of those things, and if I never do? I’d still be satisfied.”

Do you have any fanboys/fangirls? “I’d surely hope not.”

What are you most afraid of? “I am afraid of being blindly followed. I am afraid of being treated as an epitome of my kind. I am afraid of becoming more than I intended myself to be. That is all.”

What do you usually wear? "I wear my robes when conducting formal affairs, a flowing dress during functions, and a nice blouse with loose pants or a skirt when out. What I wear at home would likely be a subject of controversy for anyone who reads this interview, so I will not disclose it.”

Do you love someone? “I do not love anybody like that right now.”

When was the last time you wet yourself? "Do you think I have that little self-control?”

Well, it’s not over yet! "Then make your words count next time.”

What class are you? (High class, middle class, low class) "I would consider myself high-class, right now. That has not always been so; I have worked tirelessly to get to this point. I do not intend to waste it.”

How many friends do you have? "I do not count them. I take social moments when they come, I do not keep track of the number. It’s hard to believe that some people are so caught up in the statistics of their life, that they don’t stop to enjoy the nuances of each one.”

What are your thoughts on pie? "I prefer custard to fruit.”

Favourite drink? “Tea I find the best. I don’t drink alcohol frequently.”

What’s your favourite place? “It’s an even split between the sofa in my apartment and the courtyard of a specific tavern in the Temple District. Luckily, both of these places are always in reach when I’m in the city. That is why I have chosen them.”

Are you interested in someone? “I am not interested in someone romantically, if that’s what you mean.”

What’s your bra cup size and/or how big is your willy? “If you are using this question as a way to judge my attractiveness, I will choose to refrain from it.”

Would you rather swim in the lake or the ocean? “Definitely the ocean. I feel connected to all of Nirn when I am there.”

What’s your type? “My ‘type’ is interesting people who I enjoy spending time around. I do not pick and choose my partners by their eye color or height. I do prefer Altmer, however. I was propositioned by enough Bretons in Daggerfall to burn that into me.”

Any fetishes? "What I do in bed is again, not for public consumption.”

Seme or uke? Top or Bottom? Dominant or Submissive? “Would you like me to repeat myself? I will only tell you that I want to be in control, rather than my partner. However you interpret and extrapolate from that is up to you.”
