Eclipse, Discord and Celestia’s only child. Another MLP next gen who had an old design before, which I spruced up a bit, but it was honestly a bitch to make QvQ. I drew a full body of him since I wanted to show him in all his hybrid glory, which took some time to conceptualize since I didn’t want him to look too pony-like or too draconequus-like as some Dislestia babies tend to be. I also used some pony genetics logic with how a parent’s mane colors can become their child’s coat colors and vice versa; some of Celestia’s mane colors were “redistributed” to Eclipse’s wings and his left arm while Discord’s body and tail colors became the colors of Eclipse’s hair and hooves. I know that making next gens with heterochromia were they basically just have one eye color from each parent is usually a sign of “bad design” but I thought it’d be neat here, plus chaos is literally in this boy’s genes so I think it’s justified lol.
Some more info below👇
The fact that Eclipse was even born was a surprise for his parents since they weren’t even sure they were capable of conceiving offspring together and in a way they were right. Eclipse wasn’t born in the normal way, since he was literally made from chaos magic influenced by Discord and Tia’s desire for a child of their own.
His hair’s quite strange in that part of it is just like normal hair while another part flows ethereally like his mother’s. With his father’s help, he’s trying to get the hang of controlling it, but struggles with it a lot. Sunburst and Starlight did make a magical golden hairtie that when he uses it, he has better control of which part of his hair has that etheral quality.
While he can go bipedal, he prefers going on all fours since he has some rather poor balance and doesn’t want to end up embarassing himself in public.
Often taciturn, only speaking much when he feels it’s needed or when he’s around those he’s close with.
Has astigmatism and dyslexia, but is ashamed of these since he wants to keep up the image of a flawless prince, even if his mother always tries to reassure him that he doesn’t have to keep pressuring himself. He does wear glasses to help with the former, but only complied with it since he figured it would make him look wise.
Because of their very similar personalities and the fact they can relate to each other, he’s good friends with Breaking Ground.
Is in a romantic relationship with Summersong, who he had known since his childhood. They were introduced to each other during one of Fluttershy’s visits to the Royal Family and the two became fast friends and often played together. Surprisingly to most, he’s the younger one between them.
Often tries to be very stern and serious, especially when it comes to court politics. He usually tries to set up marriage arrengements that are advantageous in any way (ie, alliances, power, etc.), with his many cousins often being the target of his attempts at political matchmaking. His cousins, meanwhile, have varying reactions to his attempts but often they’re annoyed especially since it does somewhat make him a hypocrite since he’s “essentially married” to Summersong out of love.
Capable of flight and magic, but prefers to not try them out of fear that it could lead to something dangerous happening. He had two accidents related to those things back when he was younger, and it’s scared him out of trying them ever again.
Used to be a much more outgoing and happy-go lucky kid, but constant scrutiny from others because of him being a hybrid (and the son of a former villain, at that) has made him the closed off person he is today.

More half-siblings for my alt next gen pones
The big brother is Enigma and he’s from Flutters’ previous relationship with Discord (they somewhat amicably divorced and still help in co-parenting him since they’re on good terms) and the twins are Gentle Winds (yellow) and Spring Breeze (aqua-ish), from Flutters’ current relationship with Bulk Biceps.

Sparity babs! The first two are their dracony twins and only biological children, while the rest were adopted. I see them being the type of couple who adopt kids because they want to give them homes and with Spike also being an adopted kid, it’d be something he’d really wish for kids who don’t have any family left/willing to take them in.
Their names are, from left to right: (Top Row) Sapphire “Sappy”, Sulfur “Sulfy”, Dandy, Dia, (Bottom Row) Grace, Yorick, Ruby
Dandy’s based on a tuxedo cat, Dia’s based on a chihuahua and Grace’s bird half is based on a pigeon while I’m still trying to figure out what her cat half is based on.
Some more info below👇
Sapphire and Sulfur have an interesting story for their birth. Rarity was pregnant as ponies usuly are when they’re expecting, but had given birth to two eggs after five months and then those eggs hatched after six months (I’m going with the headcanon that ponies gestate the way horses do irl)
After the birth of Sapphire and Sulfur, Rarity was unsure if she wanted to go through the whole pregnancy and birthing process once again, but was conflicted since she and Spike still wanted a huge family. After talking about it, with Spike mentioning how being raised by Twilight’s family was the best thing he ever had and that he was also loved and cared for by Night Light and Velvet, they decided to adopt.
Yorick is a yakallo, or a yak-buffalo hybrid, having been born out of wedlock. His parents were forced by their families to give him up, which is how he ended up in a orphanage.
Dandy is one of many Abyssinian orphans who were left to fend for themselves after the kingdom fell into ruin due to the Storm King’s takeover. His parents had died from an illness they contracted. Because Rarity and Spike adopting him gave him a much better life than many of his peers could hope, he’s extremely grateful towards his adoptive parents and the second most affectionate with them.
The kids usually spend more time with Spike, who finds himself often staying home and being the homemaker, as his busyness as Friendship Ambassador has lessened a bit over the years.
Dia, Grace, and Yorick all came from the Canterlot orphanage and were an inseperable trio. Spike and Rarity initially wanted to just adopt Dia, but they saw the close bond she had with her friends and noticed how the griffon and yakallo were bullied and treated poorly by the prejudiced Canterlot natives who would come to the orphanage to adopt. Being unable to stand seeing them mistreated, they also decided to adopt them, which led to the trio profusely thanking them and promising they’ll help around the house. Not that the kiddos had to, the couple were just happy to have new additions to their family.
Ruby was a fairly late addition to the family, being taken in by the family by the time her siblings were teens or pre-teens.
Ruby’s egg was discovered in Ponyville, having washed up on a riverbank and found by Pinkie. The Ponk initially wanted to make it into an omelette until Fluttershy recognized that it was a dragon egg and stopped her before a disaster could happen. The Mane Six met up again to discuss the egg, Rarity volunteered to care for it with spike, and that was how Ruby was added to their family.
Sapphire and Sulfur are very protective of their younger siblings, not hesitating to stand up for them if anyone were to treat them badly, especially if it was rooted in prejudice.
Ruby’s very affectionate with her parents, always nuzzling and cuddling with them, something that they both will not hesitate to return. Rarity especially likes it since her daughter’s very warm to hug.
When they were still very little and trying to get the hang of using their wings, Sapphire and Grace would regularly go on practice flights with their dad, who knew how difficult it could be to get the hang of flying. Even after they mastered flying now, they still regularly go on flights to spend time with Spike, usually doing so at sunset. When Ruby joined the family, she was included in these flights.
Dia and Dandy love helping Rarity with her seamstress work, often by suggesting what accessories or details she could add. They, especially Dia, will even go gem hunting with their mom both so they have something to add to clothes or as treat for Spike and Ruby.

Baby Stabursts~!
Yeah, I’m one of those people who headcanon Luster Dawn to be Starlight and Sunburst’s daughter. Even if it doesn’t make sense, I couldn’t help it because the idea is so cute for me. Meanwhile, this cutie in the lower left is Luster’s baby sibling, Aster.
Some more info below👇
The reason Luster wasn’t that big on friendship, much like Twilight was, is that she actually did have friends before. However, one fall out after another, along with realizing some of these friends were toxic, left her jaded about friendships. It was only recently that she realised she did miss having friends.
The siblings regularly visit their grandparents in Sire’s Hollow and while they do love and enjoy spending time with them, bickering between Stellar Flare and Firelight can make these visits feel tedious.
Aster is actually a surprise baby, and like Bright Star, has a notable age gap with their sibling.
While Aster was born male, they did always feel that they weren’t tied to any sort of gender and fully realised they were nonbinary once they were a teen. Starlight was confused on it and even in denial for a bit, but eventually grew to accept them, while Sunburst already had a feeling about it and was supportive from the get-go.
Luster Dawn was introduced to Twilight and her family when she was rather young, and befriended Breaking Ground. But since it was a long time ago and she had sworn off friendship for a long time, she had forgotten about him for awhile. At least, until they reunited years after.
Aster still lives with their parents in Ponyville, being rather young, but they plan on moving to either the Crystal Empire or Sire’s Hollow. While they don’t have a final decision yet, they will make it based on what path they find themselves in.
The horn and ear markings on Aster may seem random, but these are actually something they have in common with their great-grandmother Sunshine, who’s Sunburst’s grandmother and Sunspot’s mother.
Luster Dawn is often in a rush to get to her classes, to the point that she tends to neglect brushing her mane because she wants to be on time. Add that with how she moves around a lot in her sleep, and it makes for a perpetually messy mane.
For quite some time, Luster Dawn and Lil Cheese dated, even moving in together, but they had far too many differences that they couldn’t agree on anything. One of these many disagreements was on whether or not they would move to Canterlot for Lil Cheese’s business, or stay in Ponyville for Luster Dawn’s schooling. The long back and forth on the topic made them realize that they truly didn’t have much in common and so, it made for little room for a middle ground or compromises, so they sadly broke up. That being said, they’ve moved past that and are now very good friends in the present. Luster Dawn even regularly supports Lil Cheese’s business by recommending her to those who want to set events, or even enlisting in his catering services herself.

Lil Cheese and her girlfriend Dinky<3
While the two were both born and grew up in Ponyville, they didn’t meet until later in life. Dinky attended Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns when she was a teenager and had been staying with her father (Pokey Pierce) in Canterlot while she was doing so. Even after she had graduated, she still stayed in Canterlot to look for work, which was where she met Lil Cheese (who was now a young adult by this time) who was there to open a party catering business.
The two hit it off and would regularly go on dates whenever they could and went from acquiantances, to friends, to lovers. Lil Cheese absolutely adores his girlfriend and calls her their “Snugglemuffin”, while Dinky is always appreciative of her partner and how they can bring a smile to her face and see the best in her.

Baby pies! In my next gen ‘verse, Pinkie is polyamorous and in a threeway relationship with Cheese Sandwich and Party Favor. Also, I wanted to incorporate canon characters into my MLP next gen ‘verse, so Lil Cheese (leftmost) is here! The others, from left to right, are named as such: Peanut “Pick” Pickler, Jelly “JG” Gelato, Roxy Road, and Chicory “Chic” Root. Jelly Gelato’s another one of my old MLP next gen OCs who underwent a revamp, a revamp that I quite liked since I wanted him to pop out a bit more from other Cheesepie babies (don’t get on my case for green hair, colored honse genetics can be weird lmao). He’s meant to look like a pony version of a pistachio ice cream cone and his older sister Peanut Pickler is meant to represent a peanut (the “inside” part of her hair has the same color as the inside of a peanut).
Some more info on them below👇
Pick and JG were named after the food combinations that Pinkie craved while she was pregnant with each of them. Yes, she ate peanuts and pickles together and placed jelly on top of gelato ice cream. That’s Pinkie for ya.
Chic is a magically conceived baby and the only one among his siblings who has three biological parents. You see, Cadance had developed spells to allow same sex couples or poly couples to conceive, with Pinkie and her husbands using one of these spells. Since Pinkie already had four tiring pregnancies and Cheese and PF were worried about her health, they both volunteered to be temporarily turned into a mare so that someone could carry the baby. The matter was settled with a coin toss, resulting in Cheese being the one to carry Chic.
Lil’ Cheese is genderfluid and goes by He/They/She pronouns! It can get confusing for most ponies when they learn about this, but his immediate family always remembers and seamlessly went into referring to her as such.
Roxy Road, like her mother, inherited recessive traits from a distant/extended relative. This resulted in her having colors closer to that of her maternal aunts and her father’s brother, Mudbriar.
Pick works as a barista in a Canterlot cafe and has had to deal wth numerous snobby elites and the occasional Karen or two. She’s honestly learnt to be unfazed in the face of annoying customers.
While the kids love both of their dads, that doesn’t mean the relationships are perfect. Lil’ Cheese was at first, suspicious of Party Favor, worried that he could get in between her parents but they eventually warmed up to him. Pick and Roxy Road have some trouble relating with Cheese, who while he means well, can sometimes not find the right response to their issues.
Jelly and Chic are rather close, often spending time together. The green-maned earth pony loves giving rides to his little brother and Chic will sometimes even emulate his older brother’s mannerisms.
Lil’ Cheese’s actual name is Cheese Slice, but they’re often called Lil Cheese by her loved ones.
Save for Lil’ Cheese (who got hers fairly early) and Chic (who’s still trying to figure out what he likes to do) the siblings got their cutie marks rather late in life. Pick was indifferent to this (except when other ponies made fun of her for it), Jelly was optimistic and just ecstatic when he finally got his, and Roxy was frustrated with herself.
The Cake twins babysat for all of them, save for Chic, since they had full-time jobs by the time he was born. Because of this, the Pie brood consider them family and wasted no time introducing Chic to them so that he could learn about some family friends.
Much like her aunt Maud, Roxy Road went to college to get her rocktorate degree but dropped out after seeing that the courses weren’t for her. On the day she dropped out, she had used her crazy earth pony strenght to buck at some rocks and smash them just to vent out her frustration (the combination of low grades and stress had resulted in some pent-up anger). Only, she noticed that some of the rocks she smashed look vaguely like different shapes or objects, so she then started smash and buck at them but with the goal of making them look more like rough sculptures than messes. It was from that point on, she truly realized her passion for sculpting.
Jelly and Lil Cheese apprenticed under the Cakes, wanting to work at Sugarcub Corner like their mom did, so they’re on very good terms with the family.
Jelly’s really good at making ice cream, in fact, it’s what he’s known for. When he discovered this talent of his, Sugarcube Corner began adding ice cream among the desserts it sold. Pinkie would always proudly proclaim that her gorging on ice cream while she was pregnant with him meant that ice cream went into his destiny.

A couple of very Dashing kids. Initially, I planned for Soarin to be their father but then I shifted from mainly shipping Soarindash to Thunderdash. Part of it’s cuz I thought it’d be interesting to combine Dashie and Thunderlane’s colors (rainbow mane and black coat? sounds badass), another part’s cuz Dashie’s a character I wanted to try a less popular/mainstream ship with. But then I also felt it’d be cute for them to have a friends to lovers thing going on. So here’re the results of that friends to lovers romance, Thunder Blaze (upper left) and Cloud Buster (lower right)! CB’s one of my next gen pones who had an old design…not that he changed much, lol (I just adjusted his colors).
Some more info below👇
Thunder Blaze was partially named after her maternal great-uncle, Rainbow Blaze, since he’s Dash’s favorite uncle.
Cloud Buster has a condition wherein he sheds a lot of feathers, hence his expression in the drawing. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like he’ll go completely bald, but he still leaves a lot of stray feathers. He’s basically like a pug, lol.
They have that kind of relationship where they bicker, tease, and annoy each other a lot. So basically they’re like the typical siblings. While they do love each other, they’re hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, much less say it out loud.
Between the two of them, Thunder Blaze has a longer wingspan, something she likes to lord over her younger brother. It’s this fact that’s one of Cloud Buster’s sore spots.
Dinky Hooves was Cloud Buster’s first crush. She had been introduced to him when Thunderlane bumped into his friend Derpy while the two of them were spending a day out with one of their kids. Cloud Buster would swear up and down that it was love at first sight when he saw the purple unicorn.
Neither of them were really interested in joining the Wonderbolts, much to Dash’s exasperation. Thunder Blaze did decide to try out the entrance tests but saw that it wasn’t truly her calling, so she opted out of it, while Cloud Buster didn’t really try due to lack of interest and being much lazier compared to his sister. It took lots of heart-to-heart talking, mostly from her husband, but Dash eventually relented and accepted that they wanted to follow their own paths.
For the most part, Cloud Buster’s pretty chill and laidback…until you insult him or his friends and/or family, then he gets really defensive. If it’s his flying skills that are insulted/criticized, he gets outright competitive.
Cloud Buster’s quite fond of his uncle Rumble and until now, he’s his #1 fan. He’s been his most avid supporter since day one and encouraged him to keep trying for the Wonderbolts despite his personal disinterest in them. Normally, he wouldn’t really watch any of their performances, but a show where Rumble participates is the sole exception to this.
Thunder Blaze is allergic to peanuts, a fact that she’s embarrassed about. She’s tried multiple times to “build up tolerance” but all of these attempts have landed her in the hospital. Really, the only thing stopping her from trying once again is her mother telling her that one more peanut stunt and she’s sending her to Tartarus.
In her pre-teen years, Thunder Blaze had an emo/goth/punk phase, much to Thunderlane’s exasperation and Dash’s confusion. During this phase, she would dye her mane black and red, wear lots of (sticker) tattooes, play off-key on a bass guitar and write (cringey) poems and songs. Pictures of herself during this phase are Cloud Buster’s leverage against her when he needs a favor from her.

Alternate Flashlight babies
I wanted to work with the common designs I see for Flashlight babies, which are orange unicorns and purple pegasi, and making them stand out a bit more. Also don’t see a lot of Flashlight babies that also take after Uncle Shiny, so I thought it’d be interesting to make a design for one.
The orange unicorn is Harmonic Melody, and the pegasi are twins named Starry Night (purple) and Shimmering Shield (white)

Heirs to the Crystal Empire, aka I gave Flurry Heart siblings
Their names are Noble Heart (earthie), Sky Shield (pegasus) and Spell Shield (unicorn). Sky and Spell are twins, with Sky being a few minutes older.
Some more info below👇
Flurry actually takes more after her dad’s build when she grows up, while Noble takes after their mom. So as adults, Flurry is bigger and more muscular, while Noble is much more lithe.
Noble has a bit of an inferiority complex. For a long time, it was just him and Flurry and between the two of them, it’s safe to say Flurry pretty much won the genetic lottery. Having an alicorn for an older sister can often leave you in her shadow, especially if you have neither wings nor magic to wow others, which was exactly where Noble found himself. It left him feeling insecure and wishing he could add up to be a “worthy” heir to.
Noble gets along best with his cousin Bright Star, the both of them being younger earth pony brothers to an alicorn prince/princess.
The twins are frequently mistaken to be Twilight’s kids instead of her niece and nephew, it’s come to the point that it’s second nature for them to clarify that they’re Cadance and Shining Armor’s children.
Flurry and Noble were teenagers by the time their younger siblings were born, making for a huge age gap between them and the twins. Unlike with their cousins though, they have a close relationship with them. Flurry absolutely dotes on and spoils the twins while Noble takes his role as their protector and mentor very seriously.
Cadance’s alicornhood has had an interesting effect on the twins. Sky has some latent unicorn abilities in the form of weak teleportation magic, which allows her to teleport an object she has touched, though she can only teleport it to somewhere within a 20 mile radius. Spell’s latent pegasus abilities come in the form of being able to walkon clouds even without any cloudwalking spells, though only for 20 minutes at a time.
Noble spends lots of time with his aunts, and because of his insecurity, he really threw himself into his princely lessons and training in the hopes he could measure up to his sister. His great-aunts, whom he affectionately calls “Auntie Celly” and “Auntie Loony”, try to reassure him that he doesn’t need to keep pushing himself. Though on his particularly bad days, these well-meaning attempts at reassurance can make him feel like they’re pitying him, which just makes him push himself even more.
Sky likes spending time with her great-uncle (via marriage) Discord, even calling him “Chaos Uncle.” Discord is absolutely enamoured with the little pegasus and likes teaching her various pranks that she can pull. It’s because of this that she’s become a playmate and best friend of Flutters’ youngest child, Angel Cloud, whose family visits the Royal Family whenever possible.
Spell has a huge sweet tooth like his great-aunt Celestia, but in his case, he loves cupcakes. Whenever the Pie family comes to visit to either bake or cater for the Royal Family, he always asks for a cupcake from Pinkie, who’s always happy to oblige. He’s also made a friend from these visits in the form of Pinkie’s youngest kid, Chicory Root.

Older Pipsqueak with his family.
I like to think Pipsqueak became a part of Luna’s guard when he’s older. Moonshine, the batpony in the upper left, was a seasoned soldier when he entered who was surprisingly friendly and affable. She was even the first among the guard to really offer friendship to him. After he worked up the bravery to ask her out, with help from the CMC, the two would begin a relationship. The results of which are their sons, Teenytiny (lower left) and Cowlick (lower right). Also, Cowlick’s wings are different colors, cuz I thought it’d be an interesting visual.
Some more info below👇
Pipsqueak had a crush on Moonshine for quite some time, after a year of the lunar guard, but he was worried she wouldn’t see him as a possible boyfriend. She was much older and more experienced than him and he was just really coming onto his own and still feeling a bit awkward, but it was a pleasant surprise when she accepted him asking her out.
Things were a bit awkward for Pipsqueak when he first joined since he was among the minority there; most of Luna’s night guard consists of batponies or those with batpony heritage. Moonshine was the one who helped him adjust to it and befriend the other guards, and it’s part of why he fell in love with her.
Moonshine is the middle child among seven siblings, who are also named after various cocktails and liqours. Their mother is a mixologist who took her passion on making and serving cocktails seriously, which is why she chose that theme in naming her children
While they did love each other very much, Pip and Moonshine never married, since Moonshine didn’t want to and Pip saw no reason to force her to do so.
Sadly, Moonshine died not long after Cowlick was born, having contracted an infection. Moonshine’s family was utterly devastated, and her father and some of her siblings even blamed either Pip or Cowlick (or even both of them) for her death. In the present, Pip still wants his sons to have a connection with their maternal family, so he tries to encourage them to foster a relationship with them.
Between the brothers, Teenytiny has a better relationship with their extended family on their mother’s side, mainly because none of them blame him for Moonshine’s death. It’s because of this that he tends to get caught in the middle whenever there’s family conflict, since he does want to defend his little brother but doesn’t want to alienate himself from their relatives.
Teenytiny, like his dad, ironically grows up to be rather huge. It’s even more noticeable in his case since he grows to be Troubleshoes’ size, being taller than his father.
Cowlick has a Trottingham accent like his father, on account of having been raised mainly by him.
While he’s very small like Pipsqueak was as a child, Cowlick inherited his earth pony strength and can lift up huge objects with ease.
Well into adulthood, Teenytiny would have yet to gain a cutiemark. Pip suspects that it might be impossible for him to have one because of Moonshine’s batpony genes (in my headcanon, batponies can’t get cutiemarks).
Cowlick is a weak flier and struggles a bit with keeping himself in the air for more than ten minutes. Pip wishes he could help his son, and does so by encouraging him to just stay on the ground for his safety, thinking it’s the best he could do being an earth pony with a pegass son. While he does have the best intentions, it’s only made Cowlick feel worse. Luckily, he’s gotten some advice on how to deal with this from one of his godmothers, Scootaloo.
Teenytiny is the one who got the necklace that Pip wears in the picture, having thought it would help his father to have a reminder of his mother.

Woona's bebbehs! In my headcanon, Luna is poly and has had multiple lovers in the past, but it's only recently that she openly took other creatures not just as lovers but as consorts. She had officially declared that as a way of further establishing peace and friendship between ponies and other creatures, she would take on multiple royal consorts.
The results of the forming of Luna's harem this multiple-in-one marriage arrangements are, from left to right: (Top) Ganymede (sired by my Griffon OC, Glover), Waxer (sired by Gaius the Dragon Lord from Smolder's story), Waner (sired by Rain Shine the kirin leader), Gibbous or "Gibby" (sired by the zebra Prince Abraxas from the comics), (Bottom) Elytra or "Ely" (sired by Pharynx), Oberon (sired by the deer King Aspen from the comics), Triton (sired by Queen Novo), Io (sired by Prince Rutherford), and Deimos (sired by Prince Scorpan)
Some more info below👇
A collective nickname for them, affectionately given to them by Luna's own night guards, is "Moonlings." Ganymede, Elytra, Oberon and Io absolutely adore this nickname. Waxer, Waner, and Gibbous are embarrassed by this nickname. Annnd Triton and Deimos have fairly neutral feelings on it.
Gibby is a true romantic at heart and wishes to find "the one" He does have a lot of ponies interested in courting him, most being nobility, but he's often let down by how they're merely attracted to his status as royalty and the fact he's a zony hybrid (the latter makes him deeply uncomfortable).
Waner is rather grumpy and standoffish and has a bit of a strained relationship with his family, especially his mothers, except for Waxer and Elytra. The former for not making fun of him despite their differing personalities, and the latter for taking the time to understand him. Both of them also respect his wishes.
Ganymede wants to do better than her ancestor King Grover and show that not all Griffons are greedy and selfish, but she tends to overcompensate to the point of self-sacrificial behavior. Her mother and aunt often try to remind her that it's not selfish for someone to love and care for themself.
Waxer and Elytra have rather interesting wing compositions, ones that are very different from the rest of their siblings. Waxer's are both feathered and scaled while Elytra's are mostly transparent like Changeling wings, but a part of it is feathered like an alicorn/pegasus'. What makes this especially interesting is that both cases stand out even in the type of hybrids there are. Waxer isn't the first dracony to be born, there being a few records of such pairings from a very distant past. But in cases where those hybrids had wings, they were always scaled. For Elytra, she's the first ever recorded/known instance of a changeling-pony hybrid, but it was expected that her wings would be completely like a changeling's or alicorn/pegasus', not a combination of both like her brother's.
Waner is sometimes mistaken to be a bat-pony/alicorn hybrid on account of his wings being leathery like a bat pony’s. He’s rather annoyed that others keep assuming such without even asking him.
Out of technicality, Waxer and Deimos are the oldest of the brood. Both of them were born from eggs that had been petrified for centuries, but it was only recently, that their eggs were able to hatch. Waxer’s egg was hatched thanks to the combined efforts of Spike, Sapphire, and Sulfur in heating his egg with their dragonfire. Meanwhile, Deimos’ egg hatched thanks to Scorpan’s lose and tender care, even if it took a long time.
Oberon can talk to animals and regularly converses with them, something that the nobility find strange, but his siblings always defend him.
Triton and Oberon tend to come to each other for advice on dealing with their half-siblings from their other parent, Skystar and Bramble respectively, even if their relationships with each of these half-siblings are rather different. Skystar adores Triton because she was happy that her mother was able to truly find love after the death of her father, and Triton’s existence helped bring Luna and Novo closer together. Bramble, however, dislikes Oberon since he stll held onto his distrust of ponies even after his father had remarried to Luna.
Deimos tends to unintentionally scare ponies because of his imposing appearance, but he’s a very gentle soul at heart. It’s this gentleness that won him over the foals of Canterlot, who love hearing his stories and playing tag or hide and seek with him, with some of them even hanging over his wings or riding on his back.
Io generally has a better grasp of Ponish than her father, but she still refers to herself in third person.
Ganymede is the closest with their cousin, Eclipse, and the two often talk about their woes together. Because of this closeness, she’s the one who’s most patient with his political matchmaking attempts.

Buncha Little Macs! Honestly I initially wasn’t a big fan of SugarMac, having been more on the MarbleMac side, but that couple grew on me because of how wholesome they are TvT That and how the episodes about their relationship have some fairly solid advice on romantic relationships (ie, the whole “small gestures of love are good too” in Hard to Say Anything)
I actually kinda like the design for their canon kid, but the rumored name of “Big Sugar”??? Ehhh not so much haha. So in my next gen, his name is Sweet Apple while his brother there on the upper right (who’s the middle child) is Piney Apple and his sister there on the upper left (who’s the youngest) is Red "Angie" Anjou.
Also for MarbleMac, I’m wondering which direction I’ll take that ship in (polyamory? divorce? Marble moves on? who knows)
Some more info below👇
Sweet Apple was always fascinated with his dad's yoke and would always beg to wear it since he felt it would "make him a big boy." Big Mac told him that once he was strong enough to carry it around for a day, then he could wear it. As you can see here, he did manage to do just that :^)
Each of them have their own nicknames for their paternal aunts. Sweet Apple calls Applejack “Auntie Jacki” and Apple Boom “Auntie Bloomy”. Piney calls Applejack “Aunt AJ” and Apple Bloom “Auntie AB”. Angie calls Applejack “Auntie Jack-jack” and Apple Bloom “Aunt Blooms”.
Angie was named after a type of pear as Big Mac's attempt to connect better with his maternal family. After he and his sisters got to properly know Grand Pear, they met the rest of their Pear relatives, including their maternal grandmother Cinnamon Pear (this is an actual character who appeared in Perfect Pear btw, I'm one of those who headcanon her as being Pear Butter's mother). Cinnamon Pear was even the one who suggested her name, while discussing potental baby names with Big Mac and Sugar Belle (Sugar Belle was pregnant with Sweet Apple at this time).
Of the siblings, Sweet Apple’s the only one who got to meet Granny Smith and Grand Pear :,)
When they were little and told that they would have another sibling, Sweet Apple was excited to be a big brother again while Piney wasn't since he still wanted to be the baby. Though Piney's dislike of the idea was forgotten for awhile when he and Sweet Apple had a bet on whether their sibling would be an earth pony like them or a unicorn like their mom.
Sweet Apple is best friends with Lil Cheese and the two of them often spend time together in Sugarcube corner, which is convenient since Sugar Belle delivers her sweets there whenever she can.
The kids adore their maternal aunt, Fizzlepop Berrytwist aka Tempest Shadow (I like the headcanon that Tempest is Sugar Belle’s older sister who ran away before she was born since it makes for great angst material). “Auntie Fizzy” (only the kids can call her that) loves the kids but she’s awkward around them, lol.
Angie’s enrolled in the School of Friendship, which is where she wanted to study ever since she’s heard about it. Her Auntie Jack-jack even helped convince her parents to enroll her there. She’s noted to be really active in various clubs and extracurriculars but struggles a bit with her grades.
Like his mother, Sweet Apple is interested in baking and alongside his best friend, they apprenticed under the Cakes to learn all the best recipes. Currently, Sweet Apple’s planning on going to college and taking a culinary course.
Piney’s the only one of them who doesn’t have a cutie mark yet, something that he’s insecure about.
Angie often listened to stories from Sugar Belle about Starlight Glimmer and while her brothers don’t think too positively of her (Sweet Apple is scared of her while Piney is wary and always onguard when she’s near), she can’t help but be intrigued with her. She wants to know what the road to villainy then reformation is like and whether powerful magic might have a correlation to emotional instability. It’s this fascination with the Headmare that was part of her reason for wanting to go to the School of Friendship.
Piney struggles a bit with middle child syndrome, mainly feeling that he doesn't have anything great going for him like his siblings.

Lotsa apples! Just like Pinkie, Applejack has multiple partners in my headcanon, these being Trenderhoof, Coloratura, and Soarin. Couldn’t decide who between those three to ship her with, especially since I aready had designs for some of these babies and didn’t wanna scrap them, so I thought “why not all?” The leftmost column are Trenderhoof’s kids, the middle column are Rara’s kids, and the rightmost column are Soarin’s kids. Their names, from top to bottom are: (leftmost) Pippin Apple, Gala Apple, Apple “Corey” Core, (middle) Crispin, Merry, Goldie, (rightmost) Airizona “Airy” Apple, Snow Apple, and Flapjack. Also, these were the first siblings I finished designing, and now they’ll be the last of the Mane Six kids I’m showing. Ah, irony.
Some more info below👇
Pippin, Crispin, and Airy were triplets conceived via one of Cadance’s spells and carried by AJ. The rest were carried by her spouses since they wanted to give her a rest from the pregnancy, with Trend and Soarin even undergoing genderbending spells.
Unlike his fellow triplets, Pippin has a lankier build, something he has in common with his father. Make no mistake though, he’s still inherited some of that Earth pony strength, with others often being surprised that he can lift things (and creatures) far heavier than him.
Crispin is the oldest of the triplets, but is often mistaken as the youngest since he’s shorter than Airy and Pippin.
Gala and Corey have a hard time getting along, mainly because Gala is constantly busy and prefers to be left alone as she works while Corey often seeks out playmates in his siblings and goes to his full-sister first since they’re often the ones left at Sweet Apple Acres.
Snow Apple is often compared to his grandmothers, Pear Butter and Cumula (Soarin’s mom) because of his similarities to them in both appearance and personality. He inherited his Pear Butter’s eye color and his coat color is closer to that of Cumula’s. Also like Pear Butter, he shows some interest in baking while having a similar energetic enthusiasm like Cumula.
Flapjack and Corey are very close, being the youngest of the family with Corey having been born two years before his half-sister. Whenever they’re together, they’re often mistaken to be full-siblings due to their similar coat and mane colors.
Rara’s family has a history of twins and triplets, so she believes that it influenced the spell used to conceive the triplets and the fact that she later bore Crispin’s full-sisters who are twins. The fact that Merry and Goldie have even been described as somewhat resembling their twin uncles, Rara’s younger brothers, makes it quite likely.
Flapjack was named after Soarin’s cravings while he was pregnant with her, the fact she even has similar colors to a flapjack amuses her parents.
Gala apprentices under Rarity, showing promise in her seamstress skills, and it comes in handy since she’s rather good at making clothes that are comfortable but still give protection during hard labor. In fact, her relatives even wear some of the clothes she makes while doing farm chores.
The kids take turns tending to Pear Butter and Bright Mac’s trees, but none of them take that duty as seriously as Corey, who always checks on them and even lists things he would have to do to maintain them.
Snow Apple is best friends with Sweet Apple (Big Mac and Sugar Belle’s son in the finale) and Lil’ Cheese, the three of them having been playmates when they were little and still often hanging out when they got older.
Flapjack’s rather conflicted on what she wants to do when she’s older, since she both aspires to be a Wonderbolt like her dad and enjoys making deliveries for her family. So much like Rumble, she’s scared that once she gets her cutiemark, she would have no choice but to choose between those two passions.
Airy likes making trips to Manehattan at least twice a year, since it gives him the opportunity to visit extended relatives on both of his birth parent’s sides. This is because aside from his Orange cousins residing there, Soarin’s parents also moved there for retirement.
