They were each dumped by their owners, not connected, same area though. I would love to help but I need foster care and vet care. I am not a cat rescue, I do TNR. @Regrann from @devoted_feeders - Hi Everyone meet Splenda. Splenda's owner passed away on August 12th and Splenda was locked in his apartment for two weeks. A few people knew about it and told a friend of mine who turned to me for help. We did everything we could do to get her out of the apartment but we were unable to. The super of that building was away on vacation and no one was around that could help us or better yet cared to help us. This was a very sad situation. when I learned about it I was concerned about her eating. Eventually the door was sealed by NYPD and she was still in there. When I went to the police dept they said we would have to go to court. We called the Mayors Alliance who called Animal Care and Control and they were able to get her. She ended up ACC. The Mayors Alliance took her under their rescue group and were able to release her out to us. The day she was supposed to be released she bit the Technician who was helping her so she was detained for another two weeks and was placed in quarantine. We have been waiting and waiting to get her. We finally picked her up last nite. Splenda is fourteen years old, she currently has a UTI and a cold. She is not eating but it's probably from the cold. Splenda has a foster home but at fourteen years old it will be hard to get her anywhere. My friend will foster in the meanwhile. She is not friendly and her reputation is she hides from people. We don't have a plan. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to add. I have been boggled down with family emergencies and trying to do to all by myself it’s been overwhelming. I can use your help financially I’m strapped this week and have been struggling to get food on the table for all the outside cats. Batman was upset, sometimes he doesn’t like the food I serve lol just look at his face. He goes around the yard to see where the food taste better. #Repost @devoted_feeders with @get_repost ・・・ I name her Princess. She lives in this junk yard. It’s a new colony I picked up during the pandemic. No one was feeding them. I drove past here one day and I saw them rummaging for food on the sidewalk. Not one of them had an eartip. So far she will be the third female for spay in this location. Unfortunately I can’t wait for the Aspca to re-open their services to the public. It’s getting worse out here. Not being able to get the #tnr work done. It’s piling up every day. More and more cats and kittens. It’s very sad to watch new ones come in because they are drifting. A lot of feeders are not feeding because of the whole quarantine thing. I made and appointment for Princess to be spayed tomorrow. Her spay bill with vaccines, revolution treatment and deworm summarizes to $175.00 please you guys if you can please make a small donation for Princess. She will no longer get pounced on by the boys in her colony, as for the boys we will be getting them neutered as soon as the Aspca gets back into the swing of things. This hold up on #tnr is driving me nuts. @Regrann from @devoted_feeders - Update! Our rescue Kitten is a boy and he is named Indio, he is doing much better. He was given clavamox,he received the entire work, up he hasn't eaten his food but hopefully as soon as he can smell it we are sure he will eat.
