Aber was soll’s… Unsere kleine Familie hier <3

Jude Recaps For Black Lives Matter AND Trans Lives
This post has been updated to be a general post to announce that now until the end of time I am open to accepting commissions. Liveblogs and fan fic commissions aren’t feasible for me anymore due to time constraints, but I’ve had a much easier time working on these recaps.
This started as a post to raise money for Black Lives Matters after all the protesting in 2020. And NOW Greg Abbot over in Texas is now trying to openly persecute transgender children and their families.
This is the post explaining the rules for commissioning a recap on the Point Horror website, found here on tumblr at @devilselbow. You can find the recaps and reviews I’ve already submitted to the website here.
Rules And Guidelines
A recap means I will do an in-depth analysis on a book, TV episode, or film summarizing its events and providing commentary and my own opinions on the work in question. It’s the equivalent of a liveblog. Said recaps may also have comments from my fellow Point Horror writers and editors depending on their schedules.
For a single donation of $25, I will recap a single Young Adult horror novel of your choosing or a single episode from a horror TV show or cartoon.
For a donation of more than $25, I will recap two books of your choosing or a feature length film.
I am willing to offer deals regarding how many books you’d like me to recap.
I require a timestamped receipt of your donation before I start re-reading or writing ANYTHING. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANYONE TRYING TO PASS OFF AN OLD DONATION TO GET A NEW RECAP. I don’t think any of you are that shameless, but I’m saying this now. You can DM me a screenshot of the receipt on here or through twitter, or email it to me at [email protected]
Recap selections are not limited to what will be listed below. If there’s anything you’d like me to recap that meets these guidelines like a Batman comic or something similar, feel free to ask.
I cannot recap a book that was already covered on Point Horror by either myself or any of our other authors.
Certain books can’t be selected for recaps unless earlier entries are recapped first. Exceptions may apply.
Certain franchises such as Nightmare Hall, The Last Vampire, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street have already been claimed by other writers so I cannot recap their sequels or remakes.
I need to have access to the book, TV show, or movie in question in order to recap it. There are many different titles I can easily acquire on my own, but harder-to-find books will be a problem. If I can’t acquire the book at a reasonable price, then I won’t recap it even if you’ve donated. I will gladly refund you whatever money you spent on said donation.
If you aren’t happy with the completed recap I will refund your money out of my own pocket.
Below the Read More link you’ll find a list of every YA horror book I have at the moment that hasn’t been recapped on Point Horror yet. Alongside YA horror series such as Goosebumps and Fear Street there are options for standalone novels by Christopher Pike, Lois Duncan, and Joan Nixon as well as Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries.

#devilselbow, a very scenic and old part of #route66, was our next stop. Before #devilselbowbridge takes us across #bigpineyriver to the west, we visited the iconic #elbowinn Bar and BBQ for a beer. In April 2017 the Elbow Inn was almost destroyed by a big flood of the nearby river. But the owner renovated the bar & restaurant and reopened it only 5 months later. Now many #travellers of the #motherroad can take a break here again, have a look to the ceiling and will get surprised by hundreds of bras hanging around. Day 5: St Louis, MO
We hit Missouri!
We woke up at dawn with a view of the Mississippi River from our window.
Ready for a walk next to the river and under the Gateway arch, a symbolic gate to the West coast.
St Louis is a big city with a beautiful vibe and we wish we had more time to see and experience it. But the road is long and is waiting for us!
