There’s some good stuff in there but mostly I’m just noticing what a terrible RP partner I was back then.

I really hope I’ve improved not only as a writer but also as a friend. I’m sure all my old partners are long gone, but I feel like I owe an apology specifically to @thundersflower & @deviloutofhell

I let my insecurities get in the way of understanding and I regret it deeply.

I hope all the old members of this community are doing well, wherever you all are.

17. When’s the last time you were flat-out rejected and how did you handle it?

“Constantly, and with as much dignity as I can muster. My job is to sell Hatcher Wine, but no one can afford wine these days. Between Prohibition, the Depression, and the War, it’s difficult to upkeep a wine that has always been made strictly from French imported grapes. I thank them for their time, and move to the next bar willing to sell more than watered down spirits and ale.”

30. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done in front of the mirror?

If Cassidy hasn’t broken all of the mirrors, Ford has a tendency to just stare at himself for long periods of time. He can become rather obsessive about how he looks, and whether or not he looks sick, or if those crow’s feet were there before. Ford knows he’s very handsome, and is reminded of this when he’s around people, but when he looks at how fresh-faced Cassidy is in comparison to him, it drives him to insecurity. 

31. At what age did you first inspect your private parts and how did you feel about them?

“Around 11 or 12. It was... natural, I believe.”

Without getting into detail, Ford and Cassidy started going through puberty around the same time. It’s not entirely unusual for twins to be around each other during these times, like regular children playing doctor, or just simple curiosity. But Ford was the one to cross the boundary of what would have been considered appropriate when they were 13, and after some awkward time self-separating, Cassidy eventually reciprocated.

The bar stank. Bodies thronged together, sweat and gasoline mixed in a thick musk, and a little blood too. It was sweet to Valentine’s senses, it was in fact, exactly his kind of thing. The bar was fourteen miles out of town on what was essentially a dirt track, there were eighteen bikes parked outside.

The big man shouldered through the crowd without incident. He smiled, slapping his hand on the back of one or two, pulling them into a rough embrace always laughing - smiling. People liked Valentine.

He braced his muscular arms against the busy bar, creating space around himself with ease and levelled his gaze at the barmaid Lydia.

“Lyds! How’s it going?” He lilted, getting himself perched on a stool. She shot him a droll look and poured him a double whiskey with no ice without need of him asking. “Fuck off Val.” She grinned. Val raised the glass and took a sip.

The man to his immediate right was hunched over the bar, his nose was dripping blood. Val steepled an eyebrow and put the drink back down on the bar. He pushed the glass toward the stranger.

“Fuck man, I think you need this more than me.”

Henry feels his head twinge in warning just as he hears the meaty gurgle of the wall decaying behind him. He reels around to face it, reaching for a 6-iron that isn’t there only for heavy hands to slam into his shoulders, shoving him back. There’s an instant where he tries to keep his balance, muscles all tensing to fight the inevitable as the ghost’s ashen face looms over him. The next moment he’s on the ground. The impact bruises him and he gasps for air that reeks of blood, struggling under an impossible weight that keeps him pinned to the floor.

Heather’s still kind of Weird about penetration sometimes. Sometimes she’s fine with it, other times she has to nope out. This applies to non-sexual situations too-- any time there’s a Foreign Entity inside of her, there’s a chance her lizardbrain will go into panic mode. This has been A Thing for her since childhood (and made dentist visits and vaccinations An Adventure), but recent experiences in Silent Hill have not helped much.

It does get especially weird and contradictory during sex, though. She likes the feeling of penetrative sex, on a physical level. It just also has a chance of triggering a “there is a Thing Inside Of Me that’s Not Supposed To Be There” response. If she trusts her partner enough she can sort of manually shut down the gut reaction of Nope, but it’s still A Factor for her.

There were multiple occasions when she misjudged how much skin Asa’s clothes covered, and he had to come up with explanations for the bite marks. Oh yeah it’s uh. A rash. Some kind of allergic reaction to the soap or something. Weird.

             Henry ought to be just the slightest bit bothered that he was not asleep. But then he’s had these hallucinations before. He wasn’t really surprised with anything anymore. Least of all Stone flickering in and out of the corner of his vision, after closing a conversation with the woman in the next room.

morality meme ||  🌟: do they consider themselves a good person?

He does consider himself to be someone with good intentions.  He considers himself to be someone who understands that a black and white perspective is far too limiting.  He considers himself an efficient person, and someone for whom the ends justify the means. 

He values kindness and goodness and light, and he considers himself someone who values those ideals too dearly to indulge in them when there’s work to be done.

(And not to put too fine a point on it, but he really doesn’t consider himself a person, necessarily.)

H = Humiliation: Do you like to humiliate/be humiliated? Any stories?

He doesn’t like it, nor does he actively seek it out. Strictly speaking, Ford hates being humiliated. But if the mood is rife with debauchery, sin, regret, and only at 3am, Ford can handle some light humiliation. He’s not proud of it and generally tries to forget what he allowed to get him hard that night. 

N = Nope: What’s your biggest turn off?

BDSM, Pet Play, Master/Slave. Despite part of him wanting to be an actor, Ford doesn’t have the biggest imagination to begin with, so anything that requires him to pretend to be something else takes him completely out of it. He also doesn’t do well with roles of servitude. He likes having a partner that will sort of just go with his flow, but he doesn’t want to be called “Sir” for it, nor does he have any desires for collars, whips, or chains. He doesn’t mind if things get a little rough in the bedroom, but anything past biting, spanking, or hair pulling is out of the question. Being hit sets him off, and then he’s just angry. 

S = Switch: How often do you switch or are you exclusively one role in the bedroom?

Ford is usually the one taking the lead. Cassidy is very passive, and most of his other partners are paid for or one night stands. He really gets off when someone else makes the first move and takes the reigns for the night.
