Kai's Pretty Girlfriend [1]: Step One

AJ and Magnus

AJ and Magnus is one of the most progressive and symbolic comics online that emphasizes the ordeals and modern aspects of being a gay parent, the comic has gone through many storylines pertaining to Transgender culture, abuse, depression, and even neglect. most notably is the center of attention that is given to the characters making them more than mere side characters to back up the story of our two rambunctious title characters 11-year-old Alexander Jonathon “AJ” Parker and his lovable taco-loving mastiff Magnus. creators Bryan and Simon Steel gained inspiration for the comic based on their nephew and their two dogs named after Magnus and side character Twix. 

At the start of the comic, the style I saw reminiscent of bobs burgers or somewhat of a similar style to Calvin and Hobbes, who make the brief crossover into Aj and Magnus. as the story progressed and more people were backing the future of the comic via Patreon and their Facebook page. now the comic has taken a style all their own giving a lighthearted feel with balances of warm colors and simplicity of design, as to create an atmosphere of general tenderness and friendliness even when entering a very serious storyline.

The story itself centers on AJ and Magnus being a normal everyday pair of best friends that generally get into mischief at least every 2-3 storylines. AJ with his two father Alex, the Mother of the family who keeps everything together in his son's life, and cleaning to the point of actually feeling empty inside in the comic's current point, and Jonathon, the working dad who appears more of a overgrown man-child and relatively being the character who is the happy go lucky man who wants to see his son happy, but comes from years of abuse from an alcoholic father and an overbearing, repugnant sister, known as the Roach. while AJ’s grandparents make appearances, introducing Jonathon's father was not included with a face but merely as a subtext to the storylines cohesive plot and giving more background to how John became the man he is today. What comes from Alex’s past is yet to be known, but knowing the comic it won't disappoint.

Other characters that come from the comic are Aj’s two friends Loca and Ebony. Loca comes from a broken home with a very notable abusive stepfather, and while not shown physically abusive, he definitely comes off as an emotionally crippling stepfather. Locas character comes in a form of harsh exterior with a soft interior who has a taste for the dark and twisted, getting into cosplay and dressing as the devil. Ebony is the child genius who appears in the comic as the new neighbor who gets along well with AJ and adopted a baby dragon she named toast, given her doctor mother would make it her butt if he burned down the house. 

AJ and Magnus also follow Calvin and Hobbes logic, with AJ using the power of childhood innocence to talk to animals around his area, mostly Magnus and Twis. Twix is the gruff dog that comes off as a street rat looking after himself and tries to fit into a home life with the Parkers, but ultimately leaves twice in search of his own adventure, good thing too or else he would have killed all of Alex’s gardening tool family, RIP Hoseanne. 

the best part of Aj and Magnus is the stance it takes to define each character as three-dimensional and not resorting to dumb jokes for the sake of a cheap laugh. the comedy comes from the situation of the progression of the storyline and grabs our attention  because we ourselves can see each other in this kind of situation, while also focusing on more of an overlap of fantasy mixing into reality to step away from the chronology despite being a slice of life, and having fun with the world that been created. the logic of the comic is that gay couples can be great parents too and go through the same things every other parent does, seeing their child mature and grow as they do, Alex and John love AJ with all of their heart, they laugh cry, worry, and make sure that their son doesn't get into too much trouble. and despite the comic portraying a gay couple as a normal family, they don't shy away from poking fun at stereotypes of the LGBT community. John is portrayed as the lovable bear who loves sports being outdoors and generally more innocent and chubby, while Alex is effeminate and neurotic, but has a really good eye for interior design and keeping his house and family in order. and that is the something many don't see as anything more than offensive while I myself love the humor. the comic can come off as the weird looking in, but it's also about reality looking outwards at itself and show people that this is what a true family is.

BTS & EXO Written Ship A and B :-)

Hello! I saw that you are doing written ships A and B and I was wondering if you can do mine with BTS and EXO (wedding with a lot of skinship?) If you don’t mind! :) I can’t mask my feelings well and people can read me easily. I’m usually described as a shy and demure individual but once you get to know me I am bright, intelligent, 4D(quirky), joyful, & fun. My hobbies include drawing, listening to music, reading manga (Japanese comics), watch anime, swimming, and driving around. I am also a very open-minded individual as well.

I don’t wear too much makeup even on special occasions and I always give everything an 110% :) My fashion is very simple but when I go out with friends I dress up more fashionably! I can get along with people and I always like to help them out if needed. I usually also have a mild temper and I have a very easygoing and quiet personality Because of my shy personality I can be socially awkward at first. I also blush really easily if I get nervous and shy and then I start to stutter a lot. I also get mistaken for having a cold personality when I don’t.  I also have long wavy brown hair and a baby face known amongst my friends. Big brown eyes, long eyelashes, and I have a fit body.

I am half Chinese, latina, and quarter french (European descendent) I’m also afraid of bugs and love boba. Former junior Olympic athlete for swimming and swimming for 7 years with 1 or two records at a community college for a high school swim meet. I hate being a burden and say sorry a lot. I am also an INFJ and I like to cosplay and play video games like final fantasy, kingdom hearts, resident evil, metal gear solid, and devil may cry etc.  As well as I have the tendency of being too nice and not looking for myself like putting others before my needs and my friends always tell me to take care of myself as well and smile more often.  

In my group of friends, I’m usually the little sister despite being older than some of the friends, I’m usually protected or taken care of.  I also make puns that are corny and bad haha.  I am also humble and modest, I do not give myself enough credit for what I do and when ppl give me compliments I try to look for something even if I do not know the person and I tend to get flustered, shy, awkward, and quiet about it.  I don’t really like being in the spotlight that much or gain attention, but my friends and from my observations they told me that I have this aura that attracts people even though I am not being an attention freak etc.

BTS: Written ship type B: J-Hope!

Your shy nature along with a hardworking and smart personality would attract J-Hope right away. He would make sure that you are properly complimented and appreciated to see you always smiling to him (he would love it more than anything) and to see your cute reaction hahaha. His magnetic smile would melt off your sense of coldness quickly, showing off your shy and cute side… making you more sociable. J-Hope was anxious…the wedding ceremony had just passed and they have moved to the reception side. He needed to entertain the guests, but he couldn’t take his eyes off you. You were so so so( did I say “so”?) beautiful…you seemed to not make part of this world. He tried to hide his obvious jealously of every young man you were dancing with, but, even so, he would stare you from the corner…he could handle himself until the moment that your partner was Jimin…

Jimin approached you with a cute smirk…shyly…

-Would you give me the pleasure to dance with you?

You hesitated first. You, for a long time, had a huge crush on him and J-Hope knew about it. Well…that was before you started dating J-Hope, so…why not?

-Sure…

Immediately, Jimin pulled you closer…positioning you and him into a waltz position. You blushed out of surprise. You didn’t imagine that he would be so close…the dance started and his eyes wouldn’t leave yours. He smiled a bit when he saw your face getting redder and redder. You tried to spot J-Hope, since his figure gave you confidence, however, Jimin grabbed your chin and made you face him…

-We’ve got this one dance…please…only look at me…- he gave you his flirty eye smile…

You didn’t know what to do…it wasn’t that you still liked Jimin, but…but…a person appeared right behind Jimin…

-The song ended…you have to switch pairs- J-Hope forced his smile.

-Sure…-Jimin stepped out and J-Hope held you waist with one hand and your hand with the other.

-I couldn’t watch it anymore…it was getting on my nerves…-he mumbled…you laughed- What? Why are you laughing?- he smirked.

-You are so cute complaining…were you jealous?- you teased a bit, following his steps…

-If your precious treasure was in someone else hands, wouldn’t you be?- your foreheads touched. He pulled you so close that you could sense the warmth of his body combining with yours. His touch was surely strong and passionate. You blushed hard and he laughed a little…

-Get yourself used to it, (y/n)…or else your heart won’t survive the fun we are having after this…-he smiled while stealing a passionate kiss from your lips…

EXO: Written ship type B: Xiumin!

Xiumin would definitely enjoy your presence in each aspect of your personality. He would be very romantic around you, although in a very subtle way, always demonstrating his affection through his actions rather then with his words. He would appreciate your bright and smart self, as well as your hardworking trades, encouraging you to always to your best and to stay positive, no matter the situation. He would always try to find a space to be with you, even with his crazy schedule. You would control his impulsiveness towards food and shopping and, in return, he would joy you in your hobbies just to be closer to you :). You two would share a very cute and innocent relationship...like in the shoujo mangas( somewhat like “Kimi ni todoke”) :)

EXO: Written ship type A:  Xiumin -wedding day…

You were in the beauty parlor to do your spa day along with your hair and makeup for your grand night! You were excited for it! You couldn’t believe Xiumin would propose to you in a such cute manner: he invited you to a fancy restaurant in your birthday and ordered to insert the ring on the cake! You found it so sweet! You were enjoying daydreaming about it...you could imagine Xiumin in a suit, waiting for you in the altar...your thoughts were disturbed by your cellphone ringing...

-Hello?

-(Y/n)? It’s me...

-Mom?

-(Y/n)...I know I was supposed to get the dress, but the traffic in my area is rough, since the road is blocked. I’m afraid I won’t be able to get it on time...

You started to get stressed...

-Can’t anyone else get it?

-Your father is working...(a list of relatives that were busy)...I will ask if anyone can do it for me...I’ll call you later. Try to relax a bit...bye honey...

Relax?! How could you relax on a situation like that?! Your imagine of a perfect day were beginning to fall apart...your maid of honor tried to convince you to not freak out over and over again, continuing your schedule in the beauty parlor. The biggest problem was that your mom didn’t call you after that and the time for the wedding was getting closer and closer. To get your nerves high, you were left alone in the room, once the ladies were preparing themselves as well. You heard a knock on the door...

-Yes...oh my God!- you saw Xiumin all dressed up for the wedding, caring your dress. The first reaction that you had was to hide yourself behind the beautiful wooden panel.

-(Y/n)? Why are you hiding yourself?- he laughed- I’m the groom you know...

-The groom can’t see the bride before the wedding...and...

-And?

-I’m only in a robe...

He closed the door behind him and walked towards you, hanging your dress on the chair. He pulled you closer to him by your waist, making you blush madly...

-(Y/n)...I’m, in a few hours, going to be your husband...your man...- his eyes were intensely staring yours- and you...- his hand ran through your face going until the neckline with a strong and sensual touch- ...you will be my wife...my woman...our intimacy will get much further than just seeing each other in robes- he smirked and stole a kiss from your lips- you don’t need to worry about showing yourself to me...you are perfect for me in every aspect...

-But it is a bad omen...-you tried to not let your heartbeats louder then they were...

-What about it?- he held your hand against his chest- If we are together, we can pull up with anything...-he kissed you again... -I guess I should be leaving...it’s time...-he got closer to your ear and whispered- Our fun will begin tonight (y/n)...be prepared for it- he laughed...
