Quick vent that is not meant to attack anyone but definitely just vent: The Until Dawn fandom have slowly radicalized me against Emily when I feel like I wouldn’t have otherwise been. I wish there weren’t so many TikToks flooded with wrong info about her. I wish Emily posts weren’t so often really negative about other characters. I wish I were allowed to include the official PlayStation bios on the fan wiki. Like I wasn’t and one reason given was “Emily’s is too negative” which is like… ehhhhhh. I feel like I’m just enjoying this game then routinely get hit with something that feels like “you need to be careful about how you speak of Queen Emily Davis.” This even happens when I try to defend her. It just makes her a drag I wish she didn’t have to be.
#another reason given for not allowing the official bios on the wiki was clutter because they’re similar to the old bios#I’d get that for sure but there’s overlapping info they accept elsewhere#I don’t like that it’s a fair opinion to have that Emily tried to break up Mike and Jess in the lodge#but the official statement supporting it is banned from the wiki#I was told if I could find I more subtle way to include it I could#but man I wish it could just be in the bio section with the other bio#and my other sadness is that this excludes a positive bio of Mike from being used#I get there are theories about these bios being generated from wiki info#but that shouldn’t mean we shouldn’t include literally official content on a wiki that includes all other official content#I honestly just want everything on the table#dev quotes about Emily never cheating on Matt are fair game and I agree they should be#but so should official Sony content#ok I know I’m being a bit lame about this#I’m just really sad at how long it took me to upload their Sony bios only for all 8 to be removed#Emily is becoming my nemesis#until dawn
