Ahem, um, don't mind this. Just trying out a painterly, background heavy style. Don't look to close, it's not exactly how I wanted it to go but it's a start?

I know Donnie is canonically the botanist and I am whole-heartedly obsessed with genetically modifying plants it's fascinating and just speedrunning selective breeding

But Mikey would have to have a vege garden. Wouldn't that be the dream? An abandoned metro station turned into your own underground orangery and garden?

Late night Raph practice before the rest of my week gets eaten up by my self-imposed, weekly afterwork activities

I need to pin down a semblence of consistency because I want to make a short comic featuring the big red tortle

I am still alive, just very busy with life and adult things. Holy smokes it's nearly the end of March. here's an old wip of an au near and dear to my heart. It starts of Raph-centric with the Hamato's now as young adults and drifting off into the world to find their own way.

Raph himself delves deeper into the outskirts of the Hidden City, drifting between farms and docks, following the harvest season for work and pay. He's strong and resilient with plenty of stamina. The long days, simple instructions and colourful characters were perfect for him to find his footing as a foreigner and provided plenty of distractions from his own concerns. He keeps in good contact with Leo, average with Donnie and only hears about Mikey through the prior two.

I'd like to start a comic but we'll see.

Should I have been paying attention during my chemical spill and management training? Yes.

Was I? No.

Was the minute the HSNO Classes mentioned and described the minute I started planning drawing the purple turtle in outfits for each? Yes.

Am I a good lab technician? Eehhhhh

This was supposed to be just landscape practice but it devolved/evolved into something small for a world that's been living rent-free in my head for a few years now. I even included the rough sketches of Rhodo before I settled on him cutting grass.

Okay it's Leo's turn to relax.

Being the face of the team has got to be tiring, right? And everyone needs a chance to sit back, light some incense and chill.

I want to do more with Leo and gladioli but i ran out of space and time here.

I'm also sick of trying to get the colour scheme right between my phone screen colours and what my laptop shows so I'm posting this right before I head to work.

I may regret that later but too bad.

It's Christmas Crunch time and I have a million different other things to do :/
