Seeing in a Japanese magazine about the 28th Detective conan movie with Koumei pointing a gun at someone does things because dear lord I think the ride or die instincts are strong in the Morofushi family. No wonder Kansuke is trying to keep Koumei from just going headfirst into things.

Agreed, most of the time; they chilled. But when it comes to danger of their loved ones; oh no no, over my dead body (figuratively and literally)

ScotchRye: Ship It

1. What made you ship it?

I got to know the early era of Scotch when nothing was revealed who he was aside that he's PSB undercover, Rei's friend, and dead. At that time, he was a mysterious character, cool but also kind to kid(s).

The roof top scene him with Rye, there was something between them, like, how did you know where another man kept his gun on his body?🤨 The fact that Scotch didn't have intention to hurt Rye in the first place, he knew Rye nickname; Shu-nii, that his younger sibling (or his child? Scotch didn't know) called him on the train station that nowhere near his name that he told Scotch. But Scotch didn't pursue it any further, not to his sister or to him (could be a little in my delulu). Also, the kabedon... the exchange monolog, each other wanted to help/save one another, ugh these two...

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

As now, we saw more of Hiro's personalities and he's a teaser, so younger teasing older but sometimes got backfire and get flustered instead is fun~ You can get revenge in bed later🙂‍↕️

I'm sorry, it's hard to stay fluffy when the other guy is Akai... His stoic facade really wanted you to break it (for me, at least).

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I haven't interacted with fandom much I don't know what's going on in there😂 So, I'll just write my opinion; Scotch knew many things about Rye by observing him, but Rye didn't know that much about his sniper partner. That's kinda not fair, isn't it? (me typing this while smiling😈) And they made me improved my anatomy skill little by little. Thanks, ScotchRye👍

HiroHagi: Ship it

1. What made you ship it?

I wanted to tease that smug face. At first, I thought Hiro and Hagi were close after enrolling in the academy because they were both younger brothers and have common things to befriend with each other, but in reality; Hagi (and other WPS boys exclude Rei) just know that Hiro has brother when they talked about Hiro's case while cleaning academy's bathroom. So, Hiro just went and asked about Matsuda's backstory from Hagi (just as a classmate at that time), and he answered?? How are they so close to ask that??? What?? Hagi, you're too friendly?? Or maybe Hagi saw Hiro and thought this guy could help his childhood friend and give it away.

They had so many things in common if you see it. Both were younger siblings, have hot-headed childhood friend that they're taken care of, more of a laid back when compare with their friend, but pretty hard on themselves. Though, they don't have the same interested, could be fun to talk and exchanging stories with each other.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

Hiro can handle Hagi (to some degree) Kinda like; okay, you do you, I'm gonna wait here, call me if you want anything. What makes you happy, I'm happy. But Hiro isn't always goes with the flow, he sometimes teases Hagi back too.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Hagi is more of a carefree than Hiro, so I tend to draw Hiro as more unfazed when Hagi's playful. But they both serious when it comes to work related or heavy topic. Because Hiro has been undercover, the world that Hagi isn't that familiar with. To see your friend from police academy had changed to the person he didn't expect, I think Hagi still act friendly toward Hiro but there're some cautious and a little uncertain in his behavior. Hiro picked that up, but he understands and slowly warm him up again.

It's a crack ship so most of the above are from my opinion, it would be nice to see them interact more😭

Or maybe I just wanted to ship my main (Hiro) with other men that he had histories with, that's it-

With this year movie, how high of a chance do we have for it to reveal Hiro is still alive vs reveal Rei finally know the truth about Scotch's death?

To be honest; I didn't expect them to tell us any of those, well may be a little reveal like Toichi's case in M27 before continuing(?) on the main timeline because movie could be count as non-canon (still debatable).

But IF Hiro is still alive it would break so many past narratives and Rei (also Akai)'s behaviors wouldn't make sense, they look like they're in a stage of grief because it just happened ~2 years ago (followed by Date and Akemi). Zero' Tea spinoff was published in 2018 and supervised by Gosho himself around the same time as movies planning. He said up until M30 was planned since 2018 so it could say that Zero's Tea, the movies, even WPS spinoff are settled at the same time and we always got told by the author himself or from the characters that Hiro is dead. If he come back alive, he should have the best explanation to back that up, if not I don't know how to feel actually. (Joy of course, but...)

Rei was the last person with Hiro's body, he is the one who knows that either Hiro is alive or not. And he's clearly mourning.

It could be the truth behind Scotch's death, that would explain why we have to wait all these years for the continuation of that late night tea party at Kudo's manor lol If it's true, welp time to cry again!

I sorta have a crack theory in regards to Scotch’s death. We know that he got found out but I think the reason why is because he dug too deep but what would make him break composure and rush in to the point of his PSB identity being seen through? If there’s someone in there that he knows.

My crack theory is that Scotch found a list of candidates for something, whether it be recruitment or the Black Organisation being interested in them but among those in the list is his brother and seeing that Takaaki is in danger, Scotch deleted everything on the list and wiped out all traces, getting caught in the process. It would be absolutely messed up if that’s the reason why Scotch got found out and died; protecting his brother who he cut contact from for his safety.

yeah, we still don't know (and dying to know) how Hiro got found out as noc. In WPS Hiro's arc we saw him not provoked by the culprit that bring up his late parent (a little but he managed to stay calm). True, we don't know how he'll react if he found out that people he loves who's still alive was in danger.

But even he dies because of him protecting them, I don't think he'll regret that (agreed, it would be really sad). Hm, if he found a super important top-secret information form the org, why he didn't share it with Rei? Didn't have time? Or it was something that waiting to reveal in the story? Now I'm curious!

Clone Hiro, knowing that he’s a clone and seeing Takaaki who knows that this isn’t his Hiro but why does he look like him? Why is he seeing a ghost? Why is there someone who looks and sounds just like his dead brother? Meanwhile Clone Hiro knows that this isn’t his brother, he’s not the real Hiro but the ache in his heart, the urge to go over and hug him is there.

I don't know how the clones are made (obviously); from scratch or using some original part(s) that remain. If we are talking about using some original issues as a starter; well, mother nature had building living things to carry memories in many parts of the body: other than brain and nervous system, memories could store in muscles, DNAs, and even in our heart (just a faint one). So, I totally understand that Clone Hiro would feel that way.

Poor Morofushi brothers I wanna hug them both, my heart is breaking every time typing this but on the other hand, angsts make your heart stronger😭❤️‍🩹

Hi it's me with the clone theory, back with more suggestions! What if we give the Hiro clone an indenity crisis? Like everything he knows is that he is Scotch until it was revealed that he's not, he's just a product of their experiment and he can't tell if any of his feelings or what he's experiencing is truly his or not. aaaaah! Rei seeing another Hiro suffering again please have mercy on this man😭 Even that Scotch is under the org influence, after saw Rei (and/or Akai)'s reaction he would have some questions pop up in the back of his mind. Even he is a clone I still gonna hug him😭😭

I think it's good that the author didn't provide every little detail about his characters for the fans and allowed people to interpret them in different ways. Like last year that someone asked him; what's Hiro favorite food, he was genuine surprised about that 'Eh?! You asked Hiro?!' lol But if he reveals any new things, I'll used that as the foundation for my delulu-

What's your most wild theory for this year movie? Mine is that they found out the org has clone hiro and now they're all stuck in a dilemma lol

I'm more like a theories reader than making one up on my own, I can't think of fun stuff like others👉👈 but I do like exchanging thought on the theory though, so feel free to share yours!

That would be horrified and so angst😭 He has the same face but he's really not the same Hiro we known, (my brain sent this to me:) even he was cloned I don't think he can have the same voice as the original one (as new born often pickup/learn voices of their relatives to make their own), unless the org has Hiro/Scotch's voice bank for the clone to listen to and developed his voice which is unlikely. He'll have to use a voice changing device which will be easily get caught (or the org could implant in his throat), and all the memories that lost with the original one...it's so sad; Rei would be heartbroken😔
