Oh boy howdy have you not seen The Dragon Prince fandom

fandom tumblr was another casualty of streaming services. we used to be on here posting about the episodes that were coming out weekly and posting gifs and writing insane shit about the tv shows we liked. now a new season of a show will drop and we’ll talk about it for a week. two weeks tops. and then that show will leave collectively conscious for 1+ year till the next season drops. there’s a reason succession sundays was a blast on here

we used to have real television

#like we talk about shit the whole time between seasons and go crazy over everything #i like to attribute it to the multi-year hiatus between s3 and s4 where we had no choice but to go ballistic over it #im so proud that we're all so invested like this #its amazing to see and most of the fans are so positive and its a really great fandom to be in #also helps that the creators are only allowed 9 episodes per season at like 22-25 minutes per episode so they gotta pack lots of little #details in each season cuz theres not enough time for them to cover everything in a more obvious way #also because theyre just cool like that and love details #cuz i bet you anything that if they were allowed more/longer episodes per season theyd still pack em full of details #there analysis posts and gifsets and fanfics aplenty and speculations and metas and parallels and stunning fanart etc. theres so much in #this fandom we go crazy with each season drop but we dont fizzle out to nothing between seasons. anything but #we settle down some after a few weeks yes but we easily get excited again #theres even shitposts everywhere!!
