How I make ✨Strand✨ in Procreate

I figured out a method I like for making a Strand-like texture in Procreate and I think it's fun and neat so I wanted to share

For this I like to use the Pulse brush under Luminance it's a default brush

The color I used for this example is #259d4b but you can eyeball whichever green looks good to you!

Pressing down pretty hard with the brush in a horizontal line should give you a row of lights that look like this

There's some yellow and orange from the ease up at the edge so you can switch your eraser over to the airbrush setting and gently erase the sides off just to keep the green

Now that we have all the greens we want we can select them all and stretch and shrink them to look long and vertical

And then use the warp tool to make it curve and flow

And you can copy and paste new layers of it or just make more manually and cross them over each other to make cool textures

I'm reworking my OC and her lore. I want to change things about Morgana's later story but most of all, I want to pick her story back up and write it again. I've been busy writing fanfic with my favorite author and we both think it's long past time to tell our stories again!

One of my favorite head canons?

Guardians of different subclasses being hot or cold based on their subclass. Void and Stasis being fucking COLD. Arc but especially Solar being fucking hot.

Void bois snuggling up to their Solar partners in winter.

Solar gals giving their stasis partners the puppy dog face to get them to cool then down in summer.
