there's not Men's Chess and Women's Chess. there's Chess (all genders) and Women's Chess. it's not like tennis or what have you
#this isn't going on a reblog bc i didn't want to derail#but this is why a trans woman could hypothetically keep her chess titles#despite FIDE obviously being transmisogynistic as all get out#of course we do live in hell and so there are not many/any women winning the ungendered chess titles#but technically#the ungendered chess titles could be held by anyone#anyway i am annoyed by inaccuracy
