Thoughts at 1pm...
Tis the season!!!!
I'll be honest, I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. I have my bad days, but physically... I'm not "better" but I'm better adjusted.
Because of that, I want to try doing things that I haven't done in a long time... like going swimming at the beach!
So we bought some beach shorts, a towel, swim shoes (A MUST), rash guard swim shirt, wide view polarized swim goggles w/built in earplugs, and beach blankets. For me it was easy, for W... shopping for swimwear is a bitch. Women's clothing is always a pain... seriously, you all have women designers making clothes for women... but y'all STILL don't fucking have pockets and shit?!?!?!!? What the fuck man, what the ever loving serious fuck is with that shit!?!?!? Take care of your own people assholes!
But we're looking at possibly a 3 piece suit for her. She was thinking standard bathing suit, but for the ocean, the hot sun, it's always better to go with a long sleeve rash guard and boy shorts because... salt water, cold ocean, bright sun... just better. I'm excited, there are a bunch of beaches near us and we don't have to go where everyone else does.
As for the swim shoes... dude.. I am always amazed at those who walk barefoot in the sand and into the water. There is so much wood debris, glass bottle shit, and other crap that will cut you so bad. Just... no.

I also took numerous screenshots of the character’s outfit as references for my art in the near future but I’m on mobile and it would be too much of a hassle to put up everyone’s so here’s M!Alear’s outfit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If there’s one nitpick if I have to say about this game, it’s that there’s hardly any personalized design on the training outfit and swimwear.
Take the female swimwear for example. While some are fitting, I would’ve expected some to take cues from FEH’s female swimwear like Celinè’s having a sun hat with her crown’s flower on it or Framme having a rash guard with some plaid on the side.

Guide to Women’s Swimwear: Styles, Trends, and Tips for 2024
Choosing the perfect swimwear is all about balancing comfort, style, and confidence. With so many options available, finding a swimsuit that flatters your body type while matching your personal style can feel overwhelming. Here’s a guide to help you navigate through the world of women’s swimwear, from timeless classics to the hottest trends of 2024.
1. Popular Types of Women’s Swimwear
Bikini: The bikini remains a popular choice for women who want a two-piece look. You can mix and match tops and bottoms for a personalized look. Common styles include triangle tops, bandeaus, halter tops, and high-waisted bottoms.
One-Piece Swimsuit: One-piece swimsuits are perfect for those who prefer more coverage or a sleeker, streamlined look. They come in various styles, from sporty to chic, with trendy cut-outs, deep V-necks, and scoop backs.
Tankini: The tankini offers the best of both worlds, combining the coverage of a one-piece with the convenience of a two-piece. Ideal for those who want a modest yet versatile option.
Monokini: This design merges the allure of a bikini with a one-piece's coverage by featuring strategic cut-outs. It's perfect for women looking to make a bold statement.
High-Waisted Bottoms: A retro-inspired option, high-waisted bottoms provide more coverage for the midsection while elongating the legs. They’re especially popular for vintage or pin-up style looks.
2. Trends for 2024
Sustainable Swimwear: With growing awareness about the environment, many brands are creating swimwear from recycled materials such as fishing nets or plastic bottles. Sustainable options are not only eco-friendly but also fashion-forward.
Bold Prints & Patterns: Expect to see vibrant floral prints, geometric shapes, and tie-dye designs in 2024. Animal prints like leopard and zebra are also staying strong this season.
Textured Fabrics: Ribbed materials and smocked textures are on the rise, adding an interesting tactile element to traditional swimwear fabrics.
Cutouts & Straps: Creative cutouts around the waist, sides, and back add an element of surprise to one-piece swimsuits and bikinis alike. Unique straps and ties can elevate a simple swimsuit into a high-fashion piece.
Neon and Pastel Colors: Bright neons and soft pastels are both in trend for 2024, offering a playful contrast. Whether you’re looking to stand out or keep it minimal, there’s a color for everyone.
3. Choosing the Right Swimwear for Your Body Type
Pear Shape: Women with a pear shape (wider hips and smaller bust) can balance their proportions with bikini tops that have ruffles, embellishments, or padding to add volume to the bust. Opt for darker or solid-colored bottoms.
Hourglass Figure: If you have a well-balanced figure with a defined waist, almost any style will suit you. Consider high-waisted bikinis or monokinis to emphasize your waistline.
Athletic Shape: For a straighter, athletic figure, opt for styles that add curves, such as ruffled or padded tops, tie-side bottoms, or bold patterns to create an illusion of a curvier silhouette.
Full Bust: Women with larger busts should opt for supportive tops, such as halter necks, underwire bikinis, or full-coverage one-pieces. Look for adjustable straps and thicker bands for extra support.
Plus Size: There are more plus-size swimwear options than ever before, with designs focused on comfort and flattering silhouettes. High-waisted bottoms, underwire tops, and one-pieces with ruching can provide extra support and enhance curves.
4. Essential Swimwear Tips
Sun Protection: Opt for swimsuits with UV protection fabric, especially if you spend long hours in the sun. Rash guards are also great options for additional coverage.
Chlorine Resistance: If you’re swimming frequently in chlorinated pools, look for chlorine-resistant swimwear to ensure durability.
Proper Care: Always rinse swimwear with fresh water after swimming and avoid wringing it out to maintain elasticity. Hand washing is recommended for preserving color and shape.
Accessories: Complement your swimwear with stylish beach accessories like cover-ups, wide-brim hats, sunglasses, and sandals for a complete beach look.
5. Brands to Watch in 2024
Sustainable Brands: Look out for swimwear brands that focus on eco-friendly practices such as Reformation, Patagonia, and Vitamin A, which are all embracing sustainable fabrics and production methods.
Trendy High Fashion: For bold and luxurious swimwear, brands like Hunza G, Norma Kamali, and Solid & Striped are at the forefront of cutting-edge designs.
Affordable Picks: If you’re looking for budget-friendly yet trendy swimwear, check out Aerie, H&M, and Zara, which offer stylish options at accessible prices.
Conclusion
Finding the right swimwear is about feeling great in your own skin, whether you prefer a classic one-piece, a trendy bikini, or a modern tankini. In 2024, the options are more diverse than ever, offering something for every body type, personal style, and preference. Top Tips for Choosing Safe and Stylish Baby Boy Swimwear
Tumblr media
baby boys swimwear
When the warm weather arrives, it’s time for poolside fun and beach outings with your little ones. Whether you’re planning a day by the pool or a seaside adventure, picking the right baby boy swimwear is essential for comfort, safety, and style. From cute designs to functional features, this guide will help you navigate through the options to find the perfect swimwear for your baby boy.
The Importance of Proper Baby Boy Swimwear
When it comes to swimwear for babies, comfort is key. Babies have delicate skin, which makes it vital to choose swimwear made from soft, breathable, and quick-drying fabrics. Additionally, the right baby boy swimwear can protect against harsh sun rays and prevent skin irritation. Look for swimwear that has built-in UV protection, as babies are especially susceptible to sunburn.
Another important factor is the fit. Ensure that the swimwear is snug but not too tight, allowing for movement and play in the water. Ill-fitting swimwear can cause discomfort or even limit your baby’s range of motion, which could make their time in the water less enjoyable.
Types of Baby Boy Swimwear to Consider
Rash Guards Rash guards are a popular option for baby boy swimwear. They provide extra coverage for the arms and torso, shielding your baby’s sensitive skin from the sun. These are particularly helpful if you're spending long hours outdoors. Plus, their lightweight fabric ensures that your baby stays cool even in hot weather. Opt for designs with a UPF rating for added sun protection.
Swim Trunks Swim trunks are a go-to classic for kids swimwear. They come in a variety of fun patterns and vibrant colors, perfect for showing off your baby’s playful side. Choose trunks with a soft elastic waistband for easy changes and maximum comfort. Swim trunks should be made from quick-drying material to prevent chafing and irritation after water play.
One-Piece Swimsuits For babies who are constantly on the move, a one-piece swimsuit might be the best option. These suits offer full coverage and minimize the risk of the swimwear shifting out of place while your baby is in the water. One-piece swimsuits are a great option for both boys and girls and provide the added benefit of extra sun protection.
Swim Diapers No baby swimwear ensemble is complete without swim diapers. Regular diapers aren’t designed to handle water, and a soggy diaper can quickly weigh your baby down. Swim diapers, on the other hand, are specifically designed to be water-friendly. Many options come with adjustable waistbands and stretchy leg openings, ensuring a snug fit that contains accidents without restricting movement.
Fun and Functional Designs for Baby Boy Swimwear
While functionality is essential, style also matters when it comes to baby boy swimwear. Look for swimwear that reflects your little one’s personality with bright colors, cute patterns, and fun themes like animals, cartoons, or nautical designs. At the same time, ensure that the swimwear is free of harsh chemicals or materials that could irritate your baby’s sensitive skin.
If you're shopping for swimwear for a teenager, you’ll find that the designs are more suited to an older audience, with trendy cuts and modern patterns. However, for babies, focus on durability and comfort. Opt for soft, stretchable materials that can withstand both pool and beach environments while keeping your baby looking adorable.
Tips for Caring for Your Baby Boy’s Swimwear
To extend the life of your baby’s swimwear, follow these simple care tips:
Rinse Immediately After Use: Chlorine and saltwater can damage the fabric over time, so it’s essential to rinse the swimwear with fresh water after each use.
Hand Wash: Use a gentle detergent designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that could break down the fibers of the swimwear.
Avoid Wringing Out the Swimwear: Wringing can stretch the material and cause it to lose its shape. Instead, gently press out excess water and lay the swimwear flat to dry.
Keep Away From Direct Sunlight: While baby boy swimwear is designed to protect against UV rays, the sun can still fade vibrant colors over time. Air dry swimwear in the shade to preserve its color and quality.
Safety Considerations for Kids Swimwear
When choosing baby boy swimwear, it’s essential to think beyond style and fit. Safety features like quick-drying fabrics, UV protection, and proper coverage play a significant role in ensuring your baby stays safe and comfortable during water activities. If your baby will be spending time in the sun, don’t forget to pair swimwear with a wide-brimmed hat and baby-safe sunscreen.
For kids swimwear designed for older children or teenagers, you may want to look for designs that also include anti-chafe features or adjustable waists for a custom fit. Teenagers can be more active in the water, so their swimwear should support them with extra comfort and flexibility.
Conclusion
Choosing the right baby boy swimwear is all about balancing comfort, style, and safety. By opting for high-quality materials and smart designs, you’ll ensure that your baby enjoys every moment spent in the water. Whether it's a splash in the pool or a day at the beach, the right swimwear will keep your baby boy happy and protected. Be sure to consider the fun patterns, functional features, and important UV protection to make the most of your summer outings.
Discover a wide range of baby boy swimwear options

Women's Swimwear - The Latest Trends in Styles and Materials
One-Piece vs Two-Piece One of the biggest decisions when shopping for a swimsuit is whether to go with a one-piece or a two-piece option. One-pieces tend to provide full coverage of the body and are ideal for modest swimmers or those who want a more controlled fit. They come in many styles from basic tankini tops paired with shorts to halter neck and plunging neckline designs. One-pieces are also perfect for swimming laps or water activities where additional support is needed. Two-piece swimsuits, on the other hand, allow for more individual styling of the top and bottom. Bikini tops come in an array of styles from bandeau to underwire to halter to triangle tops. Bikini bottoms also vary significantly from hipster and brief cuts to high-waisted bottoms. This makes two-pieces an excellent choice for those wanting versatility and options to mix and match tops and bottoms. However, they do provide less coverage than one-piece suits. Women's Swimwear Fabric and Style Trends Nylon and spandex have long been standard fabrics for Women’s Swimwear due to their stretchy and quick-drying properties. However, newer eco-friendly fabrics like Tencel, made from sustainably sourced wood pulp, are becoming increasingly popular. Tencel fabric feels soft and smooth like spandex but is also breathable, wrinkle-resistant, and very durable. For stylish prints and patterns, swimsuits with tropical motifs remain on-trend. Florals, palm leaves, and other natural designs are classic options that never go out of style. Bright colors like neons, sapphire blues, and emerald greens are also major trends. For a more subtle look, slick cuts in solid blacks or navy are always a safe choice. When it comes to silhouettes, asymmetric details and cut-outs are still having a moment. One-shoulder or off-the-shoulder suits add visual interest. Cut-outs at the waist, sides, or back keep suits feeling modern. High-waisted bikini bottoms that sit at or above the natural waist are perfect for achieving that vintage pin-up girl appeal as well. Women's Swimwear Swimming with Support and Comfort It's important that swimsuits not only look great but feel great too. For women with larger busts, swimsuits with built-in shelf bras or underwire tops provide needed lift and coverage. Convertible straps allow suit styles to be worn different ways for optimal support. Similarly, swimsuits which have tummy control panels, ruching, or high-waisted fits help create smooth lines. This is ideal for anyone wanting a confident fit. Modest swimwear has also grown in popularity. Rash guards, tankinis, swim dresses, and full coverage suits offer sun protection and a more covered up aesthetic for comfort in or out of the water. Many modern modest designs even come in fashion-forward prints and colors without compromising on style. Women's Swimwear Going Green Sustainable materials and environmentally-friendly practices are an increasing focus in the swimwear industry. Some notable eco-friendly brands to check out include Veja, Onia, and Mara Hoffman. These companies use organic cotton, recycled plastics, and other eco-friendly fabrics in their suits. Some also engage in initiatives like zero-waste patterns to cut back on excess fabric waste. Purchasing from indie brands that specialize in low-impact dyes, fair trade production, and supporting artisan communities through their designs helps vote with dollars for more ethical swimwear options. It’s also better for the planet to choose durable fabrics that can withstand many years of wear rather than fast fashion materials. Opting for timeless classics over trend-driven pieces further reduces textile waste. Swimwear is such an integral part of many beach and pool wardrobes in the summer months. With the constantly evolving trends and innovations in fabrics, there are now more stylish yet comfortable options than ever before. Taking into consideration factors like coverage needs, body type, and sustainable materials allows finding the ideal swimsuits to feel great and make a splash this season.

A Comprehensive Guide to Water Sports Equipment: Dive into Adventure
Water sports offer an exhilarating way to stay active, connect with nature, and experience the thrill of the open water. Whether you're gliding across the surface on a wakeboard, exploring underwater worlds with scuba gear, or paddling through serene lakes, the right equipment is essential for safety, performance, and enjoyment.
In this blog, we'll take a deep dive into the world of water sports equipment, covering everything from the basics to specialized gear for various activities. Whether you're a seasoned water enthusiast or just starting, this guide will help you choose the right equipment for your next aquatic adventure.
Understanding the Basics: Essential Water Sports Gear
Before diving into specific sports, it’s crucial to understand the basic gear that’s common across many water activities:
Swimwear:
Wetsuits: Designed to keep you warm in cold water, wetsuits are made of neoprene and come in various thicknesses depending on the water temperature. They provide buoyancy and protect against scrapes and stings.
Rash Guards: Lightweight and quick-drying, rash guards offer UV protection and prevent chafing from surfboards or life vests.
Swim Trunks/Swimsuits: For warmer waters, regular swimwear is ideal. Look for materials that dry quickly and provide comfort during extended periods in the water.
Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs):
A PFD is a must-have for most water sports, providing essential buoyancy and safety in case of an accident. Different types of PFDs are designed for various activities, such as kayaking, sailing, or waterskiing.
Water Shoes:
Protect your feet from sharp rocks, slippery surfaces, and hot sand with water shoes. They offer grip and comfort, making them ideal for activities like kayaking, snorkeling, or exploring rocky shorelines.
Sunscreen and Sunglasses:
Water sports often mean prolonged exposure to the sun. A good water-resistant sunscreen and polarized sunglasses protect your skin and eyes from harmful UV rays.
Exploring Popular Water Sports and Their Equipment
Water sports come in many forms, each requiring specific gear tailored to the activity. Let’s explore some of the most popular water sports and the equipment needed for each.
1. Surfing:
Surfing is a thrilling sport that involves riding waves on a surfboard. Here’s the essential gear for catching the perfect wave:
Surfboard: The most crucial piece of equipment, surfboards come in various shapes and sizes. Beginners might prefer longboards, which offer more stability, while experienced surfers might opt for shortboards for better maneuverability.
Leash: A leash attaches to your ankle and the board, preventing it from drifting away after a wipeout.
Wax: Surfboard wax provides grip, preventing your feet from slipping off the board.
Fins: Fins are attached to the underside of the surfboard, offering stability and control in the water.
2. Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP):
SUP is a versatile sport that combines surfing and paddling. Whether you’re exploring calm lakes or riding gentle waves, here’s what you’ll need:
Paddleboard: SUP boards are wider and more stable than surfboards. They come in different types, such as inflatable or rigid, depending on your preference.
Paddle: A paddle with a comfortable grip and adjustable length is essential for maneuvering your board.
Leash: Like in surfing, a leash ensures your board stays close if you fall off.
PFD: Always wear a personal flotation device for safety, especially in deep or fast-moving waters.
3. Kayaking:
Kayaking is an excellent way to explore rivers, lakes, and oceans. Whether you’re into leisurely paddling or white-water kayaking, the right equipment is key:
Kayak: Kayaks come in different styles, including sit-on-top, sit-inside, and inflatable models. Choose one based on the type of water and activity.
Paddle: A lightweight paddle with the correct length for your height and kayak type is essential for efficient paddling.
Spray Skirt: For sit-inside kayaks, a spray skirt helps keep water out of the cockpit, especially in rough conditions.
Dry Bag: Keep your belongings safe and dry with a waterproof dry bag, ideal for storing snacks, electronics, and extra clothing.
4. Snorkeling:
Snorkeling allows you to explore underwater life in shallow waters without the need for complex scuba gear. Here’s what you’ll need:
Snorkel: A snorkel allows you to breathe while floating face-down in the water. Look for a comfortable mouthpiece and a purge valve to easily clear water.
Mask: A well-fitting mask with a silicone skirt provides a watertight seal and clear underwater vision.
Fins: Fins help you move efficiently through the water, conserving energy and allowing for more extended exploration.
Wetsuit or Rash Guard: Depending on the water temperature, a wetsuit or rash guard can provide warmth and protection.
5. Scuba Diving:
Scuba diving takes underwater exploration to new depths. This sport requires specialized training and equipment:
Scuba Tank: Filled with compressed air or specialized gas mixes, the tank allows you to breathe underwater for extended periods.
Regulator: The regulator connects to the tank and delivers air to the diver at the correct pressure.
Buoyancy Control Device (BCD): The BCD allows divers to control their buoyancy, helping them ascend, descend, or hover in the water.
Dive Computer: A dive computer tracks your depth, time, and decompression limits, ensuring a safe dive.
Wetsuit/Drysuit: Depending on the water temperature, a wetsuit or drysuit provides thermal protection.
6. Wakeboarding:
Wakeboarding combines elements of water skiing, snowboarding, and surfing. It involves riding a board over the water while being towed by a boat:
Wakeboard: Wakeboards have a unique shape designed for gliding on water. They come with bindings that secure your feet.
Bindings: These are similar to snowboard bindings, keeping your feet attached to the board while allowing for flexibility.
Tow Rope: A durable rope with a handle is used to tow the wakeboarder behind a boat.
Life Vest: A life vest or impact vest is essential for safety, providing buoyancy and protection during falls.
7. Water Skiing:
Water skiing is a classic water sport where the skier is pulled behind a boat, gliding across the water’s surface:
Water Skis: Choose between combo skis (for beginners) or slalom skis (for more advanced skiers) depending on your skill level.
Tow Rope: The rope used in water skiing should be strong and have a comfortable handle for gripping.
Life Vest: Like in wakeboarding, wearing a life vest is crucial for safety.
Gloves: Water ski gloves provide better grip on the handle and protect your hands from blisters.
Safety Tips for Water Sports
Regardless of the sport, safety should always be a priority. Here are some essential safety tips:
Always Wear a PFD: Even if you’re a strong swimmer, wearing a personal flotation device can save your life in unexpected situations.
Check Weather Conditions: Avoid water sports during bad weather or strong winds. Always check the forecast before heading out.
Know Your Limits: Don’t push beyond your skill level. Take lessons if needed, and always use the appropriate equipment for your experience level.
Stay Hydrated: Being in the water can make you forget about hydration. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your activity.
Buddy System: Never go out alone, especially in open water. Always have a buddy with you for added safety.
Conclusion
Water sports offer endless opportunities for adventure, relaxation, and exercise. Whether you’re catching waves on a surfboard, exploring underwater worlds with scuba gear, or simply paddling through tranquil waters, the right equipment enhances your experience and keeps you safe.
By understanding the essential gear for each activity and following safety guidelines, you can fully enjoy the exhilarating world of water sports. So, gear up, dive in, and make a splash in your next aquatic adventure!

Best Modest Swimming Suits for Every Occasion
Tumblr media
In recent years, the modest swimwear trend has gained significant traction, merging both fashion and functionality. These swimsuits provide coverage while maintaining style, making them ideal for diverse personal preferences and cultural requirements. Our comprehensive guide explores the best options for modest swimwear, ensuring you find the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.
Understanding Modest Swimwear
Modest swimwear encompasses a range of designs that offer more coverage than traditional swimsuits. These designs cater to individuals who prioritize comfort and modesty without compromising on style. With various options available, you can find swimwear that aligns with your personal values and fashion sense.
Top Features to Consider in Modest Swimwear
When choosing modest swimwear, it's essential to consider several key features to ensure you make the best choice:
1. Coverage
One of the primary aspects of modest swimwear is the level of coverage it provides. Look for designs that cover areas you prefer to keep concealed. Common options include full-body suits, swim dresses, and tunics paired with leggings.
2. Material
The material of the swimwear is crucial for comfort and durability. Opt for high-quality, quick-drying fabrics that offer UV protection. Nylon, spandex, and polyester blends are popular choices for their flexibility and resilience.
3. Design and Style
Modest swimwear comes in various designs, from sporty to elegant. Choose a style that complements your taste and activities. Whether you prefer bold patterns, solid colors, or subtle prints, there is a wide array of options to explore.
4. Functionality
Consider the functionality of the swimwear, especially if you engage in activities like swimming, surfing, or beach volleyball. Ensure the suit allows freedom of movement and provides the necessary support.
Popular Styles of Modest Swimwear
There are numerous styles of modest swimwear to choose from, each offering unique benefits:
1. Burkinis
Burkinis are full-coverage swimsuits that typically include a head covering, top, and pants. They are an excellent choice for those seeking maximum coverage and sun protection.
2. Swim Dresses
Swim dresses combine the look of a dress with the functionality of a swimsuit. They provide ample coverage while allowing ease of movement, making them perfect for casual swimming and beach outings.
3. Swim Tunics with Leggings
This style features a longer top paired with leggings, offering full coverage for the upper and lower body. Swim tunics with leggings are versatile and can be mixed and matched for a personalized look.
4. Rash Guards and Swim Shorts
Rash guards paired with swim shorts provide coverage and protection from the sun. This style is ideal for active swimmers and those who enjoy water sports.
Choosing the Right Fit
Finding the right fit is crucial for comfort and confidence. Here are some tips to ensure you select the best fit:
1. Accurate Measurements
Take accurate measurements of your bust, waist, hips, and inseam to find the right size. Refer to the brand's size chart for precise guidance.
2. Comfort and Mobility
Ensure the swimwear allows for comfortable movement without being too tight or restrictive. Try on different styles to see which one feels best for your activities.
3. Adjustable Features
Look for swimwear with adjustable features such as drawstrings, elastic waistbands, and adjustable straps. These elements allow for a customizable fit.
Caring for Your Modest Swimwear
Proper care extends the life of your swimwear. Follow these tips to maintain the quality and appearance of your swimsuit:
1. Rinse After Use
Rinse your swimwear with cold water after each use to remove chlorine, salt, and sand. This helps prevent fabric degradation and color fading.
2. Hand Wash
Hand wash your swimwear with mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric.
3. Air Dry
Lay your swimwear flat to air dry in a shaded area. Avoid wringing out the fabric or using a dryer, as high heat can cause shrinkage and damage.
