debuting my sonic and shadow gijinka

idk if this is like common knowledge but korean american teenage boys have such a specific kind of ego that i think sonic embodies so i made him one. we also know so little about sonic cuz he's a static character that it just gives me the vibe of a person of color completely removed from their ethnic identity with no plans of changing that specific part of themselves. im thinking too hard about this and projecting insanely as you can see

shadow is mexican duh and ive never met a mexican person who didn't know extensively about themselves and their culture (or at least was hyper aware of their own ethnicity even if they're no sabo) which... yeah. whatever shadow doesn't know about himself he obsessively tries to understand much like a child of immigrants who desperately wants to reconnect with their identity hahaha fuck
