#design commentaries for the vips who are willing to put up with me outside of my art#generally speaking all darkloids have denser hair and more clothing bc they hardly have body heat#the belts/straps may be nebula dresscode idk i like them#blues : in a nutshell he's all about provocation. just pushing further the design i've already had for him#the thigh high boots are the final touch i think. i just hope they don't imbalance the coattails#colonel : heavily fromsoft coded. the hardest one because i had to completely improvize from the canon navi design#outfit... color scheme... weapon... took me a while but i'm very happy with the result#i hesitated on red (opposite of his usual blue) and black (brings out the purple glow of his weapon) for his cape#so i went with both. for the rest a greyscale was both easy and fitting#the chains were a last minute thought. i think it says much about his skills that he can fight without getting them in the way#+ the weaponization of something that was used to restrain you. y'know. very cool and sexy#for rock : his design was never constant because i never drew him too much (mistake on my end). this was one needed revamp#The Horrors can be extended into spikes or hands. stabbing a navi with them steals some of their dark aura for himself#wergh i'm done for now#megaman battle network#gijinka#exejinkaverse#dark blues.exe#dark colonel.exe#dark rockman.exe#pyro draws
