Ahead of the First War of Independence (1857), Indians in different parts of India had revolted from the British. Many such of the revolts and armed struggles had taken place in this Some examples include: Revolts by many local rulers of Tamil people in southern India like Dheeran Chinnamalai, Veerapandiya Kattabomman. . .etc. In 1825 at Karnataka knitter Rani Channamma along with her lieutenant, Sangolli Rayanna revolted against British Rule. They increased the number of British troops and allowed only British soldiers to handle artillery. The rulers of the British Raj made a new law to regulate India, called the Government of India Act 1935. This law targeted at the constitutional process to regulate India. It had three big goals: to establish a federal system with many provinces, to give self-ruling position (autonomy) into the provinces, and also to provide the Muslim minority protection through providing them with some different electorates. In such separate electorates, just Muslims could stand for elections. In February 1937, elections took place for the provincial assemblies. The members of the Indian National Congress won in five provinces and held the top position in two more provinces. The Muslim League's operation in the election was not good. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (also known as Mahatma Gandhi) had received his education in London. He had been a barrister (attorney ). In 1893, he went to South Africa. After Gandhi was thrown off a train since he was a coloured man sitting in a seat that was first-class, he took that emotion and utilized it to begin to resist the injustices that many people of colour faced at the time. He became successful and the authorities of South Africa eliminated most of these rules and restrictions. Gandhi led the Salt March, an act of protest. When Gandhi returned to India in 1915, few people understood him. Under the leadership of Gandhi, Indians began to use a different method to get freedom during the upcoming few decades. On 8th August 1942, the leaders of the Indian National Congress Party fulfilled in Bombay (Mumbai). The leaders adopted a policy to force the British out of India. Gandhi's motto"Do or Die" became a national slogan, along with the movement became the Quit India Movement. At the start of the Second World War, the Indian National Congress Party had supported the British, but they'd demanded freedom for India following the war. The British didn't agree with this suggestion. On 14th July 1942, the Indian National Congress Party passed a resolution demanding complete independence from the British rule. But this did not have the support of some other political parties. Gandhi had requested the people to keep the Quit India Movement as a peaceful movement. Many people started the movement in several places in India. But in a few places, the movements turned violent. Gandhi refused to eat until the violence ceased. He was successful in stopping the violence. The British action was very quick. They arrested over 100,000 people. They levied fines on many people. They dropped bombs on the people who demonstrated against the British Raj. The British arrested all of the leaders of the Congress Party. Gandhi's wife, Kasturba Gandhi, died during detention, in addition to his secretary Mahadev Desai. Gandhi's health had become quite bad. In 1944, the British set him free fearing that Gandhi's death might bring about a very large protest by Indians. Gandhi continued to oppose both the British and demanded that all other leaders be set free. The Second World War had reduced the economic, political, and military strength of the British Empire. They were also aware that following the war Indians would start a bigger movement for independence. The disposition of the British people and the British Army had changed. Following the Second World War, most of these were no longer willing to support the British ruling class in India. That position was now clear to the leaders of the United Kingdom. By early 1946, those leaders set free all the political prisoners held in India and started independence talks with the Indian National Congress Party. On the 14th of August 1947, Pakistan gained independence and a day later on the 15th of August India gained its independence as well (Our independence day). Gandhi with Lord and Lady Mountbatten, 1947: On midnight of 15th August 1947, Britain handed India its formal political Independence. A brief time then, Gandhi, that was aging and sick, died from a bullet fired by a Hindu extremist named Nathuram Godse. The national direction was subsequently passed to his main lieutenant, Jawaharlal Nehru. On 3rd June 1947, the Viceroy Lord Mountbatten announced partition of India into two states: the union of India, and an Islamic Pakistan. In this partition, many people died while others had been separated from their own families. On 26th January 1950, India adopted its constitution, the longest constitution in the entire world. Director Raj Kumar Gupta to bring the untold story of Ravinder Kaushik, aka The BLACK TIGER, India’s greatest spy on the big screen

Raj Kumar Gupta who is known for his gritty and compelling portrayal of some of the most inspiring real life stories in Hindi cinema like No One Killed Jessica and Raid on the big screen, will now bring the extraordinary story of the greatest Indian spy in the history to the silver screen.

The ace director is working on a film based on Ravinder Kaushik’s life,who was an actor turned RAW agent also known as The Black Tiger. The rights to unfold his amazing story on the silver screen for the first time ever has been given by Ravinder Kaushik’s family to Raj Kumar Gupta. Talking about Kaushik, Raj who is busy with post production of his upcoming film India’s Most Wanted says, “Shri Ravinder Kaushik was India’s greatest spy. क्रिसमस का अर्थ क्या है (What is the meaning of Christmas)

इस पर्व का नाम क्रिसमस शब्द क्राइस्ते माइसे यानी क्राइस्टमास से मिलकर बना है जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ होता है जीसस क्राइस्ट का बर्थडे. यह दिन हर साल ग्रेट डे अथवा बड़ा दिन के रूप में सेलिब्रेट किया जाता हैं. क्रिसमस का पर्व क्राइस्ट जीसस यानी ईसा मसीह के जन्म दिन के रूप में हर साल 25 दिसम्बर को मनाया जाता हैं. इशु ईसाई धर्म के संस्थापक थे.

यदि हम क्रिसमस त्योहार के मनाने के इतिहास की तह तक जाए तो न्यू टेस्टामेंट नामक ईसाई धार्मिक पुस्तक के मुताबिक़ इस पर्व की शुरुआत पेरिस की राजधानी रोम से 336 ई में इसकी शुरुआत हुई थी.

तथा उस बालक का नाम जीसस होगा. इतना कुछ कहने के बाद वह देवदूत मरियम के पति जोसेफ के पास पंहुचा, उसने उसे भी वहीँ बताया और सलाह दी कि आप मरियम के तबियत का ख्याल रखना उनकी अच्छी तरह सेवा करना. तथा उन्हें अकेले मत छोड़ देना.

इतना कुछ कहने के बाद देवदूत चला गया. उस समय वहां पर राजकीय जनगणना चल रही थी. तथा सभी नागरिकों को यह आदेश दिया गया कि वे अपने मूल स्थान पर ही अपनी गणना करवाएं. उधर जोसेफ अपनी पत्नी को नाजरथ पर बिठाकर बेथलेहम शहर की ओर जा रहे थे. कुछ ही सफर तय किया, कि तेज तूफ़ान और घनघौर वर्षा होने लगी थी.

खराब मौसम के चलते जोसेफ तथा मरियम को पास ही के एक अस्तबल में एक रात रूकना पड़ा. वह रात थी 25 दिसम्बर की इसी रात को ठीक बारह बजे मरियम ने जीसस को जन्म दिया. यही वजह है कि इस कहानी को आधार मानकर आज भी ईसाई धर्म के लोग 25 दिसम्बर को ईसा मसीह के जन्म दिवस को क्रिसमस के रूप में मनाते हैं.

इस उत्सव को मनाने की तैयारियां कई महीने पूर्व से ही शुरू हो जाती है. इस मौके पर लोग अपने घरों को साफ़ सुथरा बनाते है सभी अपने लिए अपनी पत्नी व बच्चों के लिए बाजार से नई ड्रेस मंगाते हैं. क्रिसमस का सेलिब्रेशन 24 दिसम्बर की मध्यरात्रि से ही शुरू हो जाता है, क्योंकि जीसस का जन्म भी आधी ��ात को हुआ था.

इस अवसर पर न सिर्फ ईसाई समुदाय के लोग बल्कि सभी धर्मों के लोग मोमबत्तियां जलाते है तथा माँ मरियम तथा ईसा मसीह की शिक्षाओं को याद करते हैं. पाठ पूजा व प्रार्थना के बाद सभी अनुयायियों द्वारा कैरोल को सभी के साथ मिलकर गीत गाया जाता हैं.

क्रिसमस के दिन लोग एक दूसरे के घर जाते है उन्हें जीसस के अवतरण दिवस तथा अगामी नववर्ष की शुभकामनाएं पेश करते हैं. इस उत्सव पर लोग कई तरह के गीत गाते हैं जिगल बेल्स जिगल बेल्स, जिंगल आल द वे ये कुछ क्रिसमस के गीत हैं.

कई मायनों में क्रिसमस बेहद ख़ास है, इसलिए यह मेरा प्रिय त्योहार है. इस अवसर पर वाईट और रेड ड्रेस को पहने सफ़ेद बाल और सफ़ेद दाड़ी वाले सांता क्लोज़ के बिना यह उत्सव अपूर्ण ही लगता हैं. रेनडियर पर सवारी करने वाले इन सांता क्लाज की हर बालक को बड़ा इन्तजार रहता है.

पुरानी परम्परा एवं रीती रिवाजों के अनुसार आज भी बड़े बूढ़े लोग इस तरह के सांता क्लोज के साथ आते हैं. अपने प्यारे प्यारे बच्चों को हाथों गिफ्ट उपहार खाने की चीजे देने के साथ साथ उन्हें हैप्पी न्यू ईयर विश करते हैं. इसी कारन आज भी लोग इस तरह के रीती रिवाजों के जरिये बच्चों का मन मोह लेते हैं.

क्रिसमस के अवसर पर ईसा मसीह की झाकियां निकाली जाती हैं, लोग अपनी अपनी पसंद के अनुसार कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हैं. सभी लोग अपने पड़ोसियों व रिश्तेदारों के घर जाते हैं. सभी को केक, गिफ्ट तथा मीठा मुहं करवाकर आने वाले न्यू ईयर की बधाईयाँ देते हैं.

25 दिसम्बर के बाद 1 जनवरी तक पूरा सप्ताह लोग इस पर्व को मनाने में व्यस्त रहते हैं. ये नयें वर्ष के स्वागत के लिए कई तरह के कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हैं, अच्छे अच्छे वस्त्र धारण करते हैं. एक उत्सव के रूप में सभी लोग सामूहिक गान एवं नृत्यों का आनन्द लेते हैं.

इस मौके पर शहरों में अच्छी चहल पहल देखी जा सकती हैं. भारत ��ें तकरीबन 4 करोड़ ईसाई रहते हैं. मगर यह पर्व भले ही ईसाई धर्म का होगा, मगर सभी धर्मों के लोग बड़े ही सद्भाव के साथ इसे मिलकर मनाते हैं. क्रिसमस की प्रार्थना में सभी लोग शामिल होते हैं.

जिस तरह हरेक पर्व कुछ न कुछ शिक्षाएं एवं संदेश देता है वैसे ही क्रिसमस भी हमें आपसी प्रेम, भाईचारे तथा परउपकार की सीख देता हैं. जिस तरह गॉड ईसा मसीह ने अपने छोटे से जीवन काल में मानवता के लिए, आपसी सोहार्द के लिए कार्य किये वह हम सभी के लिए प्रेरणा के स्रोत हैं.

विश्व में सुख शान्ति तथा सम्रद्धि की स्थापना में इस तरह के पर्वों का बड़ा महत्व हैं. ईसा ने कहा था गॉड अपने सभी संतानों से बेशुमार प्यार करता है इसलिए हमें भी जीवन में प्यार के जरिये ईश्वर के साथ सम्बन्ध बनाने चाहिए. गॉड ने कहा था गरीबों, पीड़ितों, दीन हीनों की सहायता करना ही ईश्वर की सहायता करना हैं. क्रिसमस का पर्व हमें जीसस के विचारों को अपने जीवन में अपनाने का संदेश देता हैं.
