I can't comment specifically on Gnomon, but speaking more generally, it really depends on the problem.  For example, Grantaire's alcoholism needs to be portrayed in a realistic way, and there's no getting around that.  But if it's something related to, say, a power imbalance in their relationship, and it was presented as unhealthy, then I wouldn't have an issue.

However, I do think that proper content/trigger warnings should be used in those cases.

I'm really sorry this is happening. I hope you can find fic that isn't triggering for you.  And hopefully this blog can help :).

I understand, and I do agree that there's room for explanation.  But I don't know if I'm really eloquent enough to go through all the points related to each particular problem.  I don't have the time either.  If this blog at least gets people thinking about some of these issues, then my goal is accomplished.

Every time I feel like I'm falling I start floating, and so far I'm quite liking this summer. Also, there's a week till I'll be in London with my partner in crime, the wonderful Susannah, and I just can't wait!
